Cool game!
A ton of content for a weekend... loved the multiple guns & multiple enemy types
Improvements: - The electricity might be a little OP... - For replayability add like a button at the end: you have unlocked level - hard, and raise the damage or enemy health or something haha :) - Camera movement might be a little confusing sometimes, cuz you can't always see the enemy except if you move... - Notification if a gate is opened somewhere. I never got lost, but i felt close to getting lost somehow :) - The routing of the enemies makes it a bit easy to hide & kill... => yet, Got a little stressed there at the final boss, but i made it ! woop

Fun experience you have here, it felt like you guys put in quite a bit of content over the 72 hours and I really appreciate that. Like the previous comment mentions, I think lightning might be a little powerful as it easily destroys every enemy type. I didn't finish the game, I stopped after the tenth wave as it felt like an inflation on the play time, and after kiting and getting the enemies stuck behind rocks 10 times over, I didn't really want to push further.
I like the voxel art style you have going on, and the take on the theme is fine, moving around and watching the planet rotate was cool, but the camera movement was jarring sometimes as it seems to have forced rotations at different points on the islands.
I would have liked to have finished the game but the wave island dragged on far too long for my personal taste.
Edit: Forgot to mention, would have been nice to have had an indicator to tell how much your fireball has charge up, or a sound effect to give a general idea the force it was going to come out at.

Well done. Had a great time mowing down enemies and exploring the world. I also ended up using mostly the lightning.
The charge shot was hard to use and would have preferred it on the keyboard.

Fun game! Wish the fireball was a bit easier to aim, other than that everything felt very solid, nice work!
Really impressive stuff, I really liked how everything looked in the game, the low-poly style fit very nicely. It was fun and somehow relaxing running around after all the enemies. Great job!

A *VERY* nice shooter, great camera work and overall polish. Really good job. Lots of content for a simple game, yet everything seems fitting and never out of place.
Good tutorial! That's a fine addition.
What could be improved in post-jam version: - ai / pathfinding (I struggled with the exact same thing in my game - enemies blocking mindlessly behind obstacles) - feedback - to make events, like gate opening, clearer - weapon balance (weapons are a tad OP in my opinion - it's really easy to plow through enemies) - replayability - modes, like harder enemies, or weapon cooldowns etc. to give player other goals. Or more maps :)
As a jam game - it's great, doesn't stray from general shooter formula, but feels fresh nevertheless.

Loved it! I was digging the art style and especially the music. Sound effects were good, but the lighting sound effect was a bit too much if you used it more often like on the big bosses. The game was also much longer than I would have expected and the camera work around the sphere world was cool. I got stuck in the end tho: https://puu.sh/vFOVb/e41a3378ce.jpg Not sure if after wave 5 nothing happens, but no enemies spawned anymore and the two gates didn't open up.
Really loved how useful the different spells are in different situations. That bridge Section nearly killed me, sandwiched between two of the giant enemies caught me off guard, I was very surprised to see that. but it was not cheap because it is possible to survive and escape .
A really nice entry, found myself engaged all the way through to the end. About halfway through I was starting to combo my attacks together, opening with a fireball and then icicles for easier enemies and lightning for the bigger guys and for hitting far away targets. Fun! Good art style too.
Cool game, found the controls a bit annoying personally cause it felt off. Fun different spells, didnt always seem to hit while it was straight at them. Nice entry!
Wow, you really have a ton of content! Love the not-so-much-planet planet, a really nice thing. I saw it in another game already, it is really kind of mind-fucky. Animations and graphics are really nice, sound and music does its job well i think. The darth sidious spell is waaaay too strong in comparison - going at the biggies with the gun is no use, but that's fine - but i would expect the cannon/catapult to be a lot stronger, because its more difficult to hit.
Oh, and the guys are a little it stupid and get stuck easily, so this takes away the difficulty. Only the canon spiders were hard in the beginning, because it's difficult to see if it will hit you and if you got hit. With the regular shot they were easiest to kill. But that's all perfectly fine for a Ludum Dare game.

This game is really nice! Very nice Graphics and Sound. But what i didn't like that much, was the Camera. It just moved when I didn't wanted it to move :p

Really good! Had fun with this. On the plus side I liked the different spells, the graphics and sound. Also liked the level design.
Some minor quibbles/bugs: - Didn't really get why the camera moved around so much and it made difficult to point at some times. - The hitbox for the fireball spell also seemed enormous compared to the on-screen effect. - There's a bug in the final wave scene where the lightning spell isn't destroyed on screen if you keep spamming it. - Some enemies were spawned outside the islands and got stuck on the scenery.
Final score 2810.
Guys, the visuals are very nice, but it could very easily be even better. You could've enabled bloom and some other image effects and it would be amazing, because the art is very well done and I love this style!
Regarding the gameplay, I think that you could've made the icicles more useful. I was only using lightning and fireballs (which look very good). The camera is a big problem when transitioning from one point to the other one. Some games solve this problem with caching the control directions during the transitioning (like Resident Evil 1 and 2). Not sure if I'm being clear here. Look for static camera movement controls and you'll find a good solution for this problem.
Lovely game and one of the most fun I've had this year, even if it's not innovative.

The game looks really nice, and I'm sure it's a lot of fun to play... but I'm afraid that I can't move my character! Pressing WASD or the arrow keys doesn't appear to do anything...

Really cool spell effects and animations, the game is pretty fun but I think it needs a mana system or something to stop spell spamming. Overall great job!

Very funny! I like the spells and how to use them with differents enemies. The lowpoly art it's very nice.
Very impressive game with a lot of variation, lovely graphics and music. Entertaining gameplay and an all round great finish for only a weekend of work. Well done!
This was really fun! I love the amount of powers I and how powerful that made me feel with all the particle effects. I think one small thing that would have been better is if, when holding down the middle mouse button, you got a trajectory showing you where the fireball would go/land. As it is, it was hard to tell and so I ended up not really using it much unless I was forced to.

Funny game, I died in the third round at the end. The biggest downside is, I think, the AI. The enemies are often blocked by trees, rocks, etc. I suppose it was too difficult to make a better AI pathfinding in 72H.
Now thats a good entry. I really liked the idea that particles and bullet would wrap around the spherical world. The middle mouse attack was really hard to aim so i didnt used it. I used the a bit glitchy but highly effective lightning attack. The music could have been a bit more actionlike

Wow, such a big (small) world. I love the art style, really, the three types of attack, the enemies. The camera was a bit unusual and the controls too, when it rotated, but all in all, this is an awesome game! Good job, guys!
Really fantastic entry, there's very little to suggest in improvement given the time constraints. In Ludum Dare, it's all to easy to release a game that doesn't quite 'feel' right to play. This is absolutely not the case here, I found myself really involved and enjoying the game.

I found bug with lightning. If you fire it constantly and move, lightning animations will duplicate.
I had fun playing this game! Firstly, it is really beautiful: the models, the colors and the effects are really nice altogether. I enjoy to FIGHTTT with my different powers, felt high-powered!! I could say that adding mana would be more challenging but... It is so good to feel like Palpatine Emperor "No limits to my... powa!!!!!"
