Nice game, quite difficult though (I wasn't able to finish it). I was confused by the controls at the beginning but then I got them. I would have been nice to have some checkpoints so that when dying you didn't have to restart from scratch

Oh my, you made my day with that sound effects. Game is difficult but beatable. Like the scale of the objects. And yeah, checkpoint would be nice :penguin:
I liked the sounds Effects, it's pretty funny.
It took me a little while to figure out the ice worked like a flame thrower rather than a gun. Once I got that down though it was quite a bit of fun. I noticed a bug where sometimes seemingly for no reason I would slide backwards in an area for a while and I would second the request for checkpoints. I think my favorite part though was the audio. Fantastic sound effects my friend.
Great game, buddy! I even managed to beat it after a lot of tries (really dude, checkpoints ^^). The ending is just adorable, love it! The movement takes quite some time to get used to and still remains difficult due to the gliding, but it's also part of the fun. Otherwise the mechanics work quite well. The graphics are really cute and the sound effects are funny and awesome, especially the seals. :) Too bad you didn't have enough time to make some music, I know it would've been amazing. Overall, I had a blast (and some moments of utter frustration, but in a good way) playing it, great job! And jamming together with you was also amazing, looking forward to the next one!
I REALLY enjoyed this platformer. You have a great idea, but it was not clear at all at first what i've to do. But once i figured it out, i started enjoying. So far you have: - Good idea. - Funny sound effects. - Good game design (and level design). - Good controller. - Funny and nice death animation/transition
But what i think might need some work from you, would be: - Better enemies navigation. - checkpoint, specially because it might be impossible to pass 5 enemies and still alive :D

Really fun game. I will suggest work on enemies and sometimes the penguin keeps moving backwards.
The "fluffy" controls made a bit hard for me but I think this is a pretty neat game! Pengy ftw!
The sounds made me chuckle, and the death animation is pretty cool. Well made :)

The penguin itself actually looks pretty good (I only notice this cuz it's so zoomed in on the title screen). The enemies are sufficiently frightening since it's all 1-hit KOs. Like others said, more HP or checkpoints could've helped w the brutality of making a mistake. Personally I found the controls to be pretty intuitive and didn't need to look for them. And once I saw the 2nd seal also flying around on a jetpack I knew I would have to dole out extra stars on humor.

Difficulty is hard, but it will be playable cool game with checkpoints (I was stuck at the second screen and died here 2 times)
I enjoy it! Simple, but clear. Also, ice physics make it difficult in the beginning. Like the FXs.
Amazing game! Sound effects are amazing and graphics are well done and consistent. For gameplay, managing between pulling enemies to where you want them and not having them fall on top of you makes for interesting play. The game is very difficult though and could have used a good checkpoint mechanic.
One other thing that I would recommend is to have the window locked a specific width and height, which you can do with a little bit of html, css, and javascript. The reason I say this is that I initially opened it up in a maximized window and the game played very slowly, but not slow enough for me to think it is bugged. I resized my window and refreshed and the game played MUCH faster which I imagine is the correct speed. The higher frame rate makes the game a lot harder but also a lot less frustrating when you die because you can get back to the place you died at quicker. So not sure if this would be a bug, or if my computer doesn't have the specs.
Lastly I think a bit of music would have gone a long way for this game. Even if it were just a small drum sequence or a couple of notes. Especially since this is a jam game, reaching out to a musician quickly for a short 30 second - 1 minute long loop can greatly improve the feel of your game.
Anyways I love the game!
Controls are hard, and the one-life level adds to the challenge. Art is very nice, and mouth/home-made sounds are hilarious (and surprisingly accurate :D). It was fun to play, but I didn't manage to go to the end. Maybe I'll give it a retry later, I would like to see the entire level. Anyways, good job. :)
I really liked the multi-layered mechanics (Get Ice Power -> Freeze seal -> Get Jet Power -> Repeat). The effect when you die and go flying at the screen is visually appealing. The movement seemed decent and complemented the game play well. The sprites where not terrible, but not great.

That game was awesome. I really had fun. But I'm very sad because such a good game hasn't got audio. If it has audio the game'll give much more fun. The theme of the game is very interesting. Pengy freezes sea dogs and takes from them jet packs. Have you even seen this before? - I've never seen. And that's great. AI is normal. But I think controlling could be better. Anyway, you did a great job! Well done! Keep going!
