I really liked this idea and its potential, would love to see what you could get from working on it for some more. Very simple, yet a lot of depth, good job!
Nice job, it's a nice game! I liked the level design and the robot's comments added a nice touch of humor. It was a little buggy/laggy sometimes when enemies shot at me, I don't know if it is supposed to be haha, but anyway I had fun.
I really liked your game, it was easy to get into it and I had much fun! It wasn't as easy as it looked at all, looking after the timer AND the battery made it very challenging!
I really liked this game! very nice job, the graphics are excellent, I love these minimalistic designs :) As other comments said, it's takes a few waves to really understand all the mechanics but once you do it's very enjoyable. Very good job! I'd love to see a version with more content.
Thanks everyone for your feedback :) @devastus I made the music indeed. I spent only a couple of minutes on it however, as I made it around 1h before the end of the jam, so the loops are very short. Thanks again for playing!
Very nice game, I never made it to Mars but I had fun! I feel that the energy-management part wasn't present enough, I worried more about my health, it would be more fun if it were a bit more stressful I think. I loved the art and the general feeling though, great job!
Worked for me! I liked the level design, it was fun to get through the levels! However, I found the controls not that smooth, it was a bit hard to manage the character and it could be a bit frustrating at some point. But I kinda liked the graphics, it was minimalistic but clear enough to enjoy it. Good job :)
Nice job, loved the visuals & UI :) great retro vibe. As others mentioned, it sometimes lacks a couple feedbacks, but you get used to it pretty quickly. It does not need much to be played without reading the explanations! Would be nice to play a version with more content!
Nice entry! Pretty minimalistic, but the level design is good, the difficulty makes it enjoyable, and the graphics made me kinda laugh :) I would have liked the overall game to be a bit clearer though, I had trouble seeing breakable walls and the paths of enemy bullets. Good job!
Nice job, I managed to finish it and no bugs came to disturb the fun, and controls were enjoyable. It sure could use a little bit more variety and challenge (different kind of landscapes and enemies) and maybe a more challenging energy management, but I'm sure your post LD Version will bring new fun stuff :) Anyway, nice entry!
We had a good laugh, nice job :) the music was very enjoyable, and the graphics were good. I would say the rhythm was on point, did not got bored, I had to change location often, and the dialogues were short enough to keep you interested in it. Good game overall :)
Very nice game, well done, controls were smooth which is always enjoyable! I had the feeling the enemies were a bit fast too, maybe it would be more fun if it was more gradual than that. Apart from this, nice job, I had fun!
Good job :) I liked the controls, they were smooth. I would suggest diminishing the impact of upgrades though, with just one point in speed it was already super fast.
The idea is cool ! with only a few items and a simple mechanic, it is elegant. However, issues on the colliders make it pretty frustrating when the character is stuck with no evident reason. Nice job for the LD :)
nice music :) I would suggest a bit more smoothing on the controls. I found it curious not to lose any energy while moving. I think it would be better balanced and more interesting if you lost energy not only when shooting but also as you move around. Good job though!
Very nice! I had fun playing your game, the level design is well done. And I love your tone, very casual, very enjoyable. Loved the fact there was different ways to get energy back also, power-management was really something to look after. Nice job!
Nice job in so little time. I wasn't so found of the music, and the movement of the blue cars were unpredictable, which made it fun but also frustrating at some point. Why not adding turning lights just on the cars like 0.5 sec before they move just to get a head up?
Good dwarf fortress / old text based management games vibes :) would love to see some ascii art over this.
