Love the graphics and sound really good aesthetic, the gameplay is perhaps a bit too easy but maybe im just good at mashing. The sponsors for doing specific tasks is a great idea too. Nice job
Cool concept, but honestly I think the marathons last too long. My hand hurts by the end of each run lol.
Nice one. But it seems too long for me.
Fantastic game! Very impressed. Loooooveee the graphics, with all the colour and details in the sprites and the different backgrounds for all the cities. The long narrow format works really well, a great choice. I played through to the ending. The difficulty needs adjusting and would give a better feel of , very easy after the first two races or so, so you don't really get a chance to use the skill your developing. Some more sponsor choices would be good or just adjusting the randomization / progression a little. I'm pretty sure I got the same sponsor option after just completing it. I would be nice if you were rewarded for the rhythm of your running / pacing things and staying in the 'jog' zone a bit more. After a few races I could just sprint through everything. Music and sound worked very well, great structure overall with a nice little ending, theme and mood were tops. Great work! I really liked this one. 5 Stars for me!
This one is really well put together. Music and graphics go together really nicely and the sprites are well designed. It can be tiring on the hands to play and sometimes the contracts fail even if I meet the requirements, but other than that it's excellent.
Nice game. It is hard to press s & d and space to get water. I liked it.
Very well designed game, nice that there are so many levels and objectives.
Wow, fantastic aesthetic! I'm impressed you have so many different runners, cities, etc. That's a lot of graphics. Gameplay was decent too, but I didn't quite get the sponsorship stuff (was that unfinished?) I got first place in a race but it denied the upgrade as far as I could tell even though that was the sponsorship objective.
Minor quibble though, overall, very impressive!
Impressive graphics, art design, and music! Each city feels different and unique, and the overall aesthetics of the game are really good.
Gameplay way, is a bit simplistic, but that impression might come from the fact that +stamina sponsors are too strong and it doesn't take long until you don't need to do anything else but sprint to the finish. At the beginning though, when you stamina is still limited, having to juggle speed with stamina consumption proved a decent challenge.
Very impressive overall!
"NotFoundError" from Unity Player in the Browser. Something is wrong there ?
This game looks great and the sound feels quite good. But it misses some short Introduction on how to play, because you have to find out how to run on your first race and what a stand is, this makes the beginning very hard. Also some of the sponsors are bugged, like the one without walking, because you walk at the start. Overall the Game makes a lot of fun and I found myself screaming on the screen, while smashing the buttons like crazy.
Amazing looking game, great game play and the music is alright too.
The first race left me confused on what to do as I was just thrown into it but apart from that the game was really fun.
The Unity HTML5 thing sometimes go stupid, but at the end of the day after few times of refreshing the screen, the game manged to load and run.
The music was really nice, even if you didn't make it yourself or something, it still a great fit with the game and the overall sprite animations. The walk and run base sfx was insane, i enjoyed it.
The gameplay is fun, it was not clear first that i've to pres quickly and charge later with space, but once i knew it, it became a fight between me and the keyboard :D
good job!

Nice idea with juggling your speed and energy consumption, although it didn't last very long as you get so much stamina from sponsors that you can just blaze through the scenery unfazed. Some sponsor was bugged as it required a first place, yet denied me the upgrade as I achieved it.
Overall I liked the mechanics, combined with fitting graphics and audio. Very well done!
Nicely designed game you have here, a lot of attention to details that makes me smile. :) I too think that the marathons could be a bit shorter, but I don't have anything against button smashers personally so that's more of a game design perspective here. Plus the overall concept of an action-ish resource management game is neat by default. Thanks for the fun run and good job!
OMG! Vive la French touch (I guess so). Do funny a game with a really simple game mechanics. Sort of Track and Field with something appealing. The art and sound are fabulous.
Very well made and fun! Love the graphics coupled with the music and the game itself is pretty challenging in a good way! It became a bit repetitive towards the end but overall I like it very much with nothing big to complain about.
Presentation is really top notch, but gameplay is a bit too easy. Also some sponsors were bugged, even though I completed the objective... Played it to the end, nice polished jame game.
Thanks everyone for your feedback :) @devastus I made the music indeed. I spent only a couple of minutes on it however, as I made it around 1h before the end of the jam, so the loops are very short. Thanks again for playing!
This game is really incredible! The level of polish on this entry is totally top notch, this game can be used to actually teach how to present a game graphically. The pixel art work quite good and have a great style, except maybe for the the people in the background tat assists to the races, they feel a bit too static or too low details for me. The music and the sounds also work quite well with the game and are quite good to listen too. The gameplay is quite fun, and the progression system (with sponsors and cups to collect) was quite enjoyable too. The game unfortunately felt a bit too easy, especially after some upgrades to stamina. Another thing that was strange for me was that the marathons were runnable again in the same year, but that's probably linked to the random generation of sponsors. At the end I discovered that the game was easily finished by pressing constantly s d and space together (but the sponsor will always reject the results?!!!!)
Overall the game is awesomly presented, it's fun to play, is not too short and not too long (it ends when the gameplay start to feel repetitive) and the theme of the jam was followed quite literally! Congratulations on this awesome entry!
It was fun to play this one ! Arts and music make the mood, and it's challenging just as right, not too hard nor too easy. The only thing I missed was some way to know wich run I had the 1st place yet, and wich not (but, well, it's not so bad, at worse there's only ten runs to redo). I had a little bug too (or maybe not ?) : I took some sponsors, succeeded their demands and had the rewards, but after some time, even when I does what they want, it was anounced as failed.
Wow what a polished and good looking game! The arts and the music are excellent. The gameplay is easy but fun and the UI looks good.
Well done!
Have you noticed that there are a lot of different gambling games in online casinos these days? Sometimes it can be difficult for players to choose among such a variety, so I want to share one useful article https://drfun.pl/gry-kasynowe/ where you can learn more about casino games. Thanks to them, I was able to choose a good game that I can now have fun with.
