Your music is stunning!
Nice one. But it seems too long for me.
wow, very good work. Wondering how is it possible to make such game in a few days. but tbh controller is not quite sensitive.
Привет. Выглядит и звучит шикарно. Но механику не очень понял.
hmmmm wanted to play it, but it crashed on a startup
Your idea is really nice. Enjoyed this one. But to be honest graphics could be more polished, because sometimes it was hard to recognize meaning of the buttons.
I really like this style. This game looks so solid.
@kotka @pandapear thank you for your feedback! We will try to fix overlapping. It sure wasn't intentional. There's just not enough time to polish the game.
@oscartaylor thank you for very detailed feedback. It appears that somehow mouse sensitivity is different on every machine. We have to look into it.
@welliton sorry for misunderstanding, this is the end of the game. I guess this was obvious what exactly ending means. What these words are.
@sharks use RMB to skip text to next line.
Just played it. Fantastic work! Would love to play full 10-15 hours long game!
Unbelievable quality for 72 hours. I'm jealous.
One of the most fun games I played so far. Very polished core mechanics. Good work!
@rocio-michi-ojeda we can't update the game anymore, but we are working on a standalone illustrated tutorial :)
@kingofspill thank you for your feedback! Yeah, the game was too simple during development so we tried to make it harder. Apparently we overdid it :D
Controls are a bit hard, but overall a solid game with good sense of progression
Dude so simple yet so fun!
Battle system is so addictive I replayed it a few times until tried every ability
Wow. Mood and art are sooo good. And puzzle rooms are really clever. Would play a full version of this game for sure!
Hey! Very tight and snappy mechanics. I didn’t expect such solid shooting gameplay from a jam game. Though sometimes it feels like enemies spawn right behind my back...
Everything is so well put together! Very cohesive, funny and to the point. It would be nice to have some background music, though.
@ira-baciu sadly, the project is too complex for web.
@nohopeoutthere It was hunger, probably. It should be displayed with this icon. Hunger.png
@raylond Yeah, that was definitely the plan! We had planned 3 zones that would be unlocked through creative use of the obtained effects. But sacrifices had to be made in order to finish the game in a feature-complete and playable state.
@cgraen Wow! Thanks for the elaborate feedback! Yeah, we will look if we are able to expand the game later. Core loop and effects telegraphing needs improvement, that's for sure, but we'll see!
@electric-sun You need to earn 1000 points. Your current points are displayed in the top right corner of the screen and also duplicated on top of the extractor.
Your art style gives off massive Moebius vibes — loved it! Are there multiple endings? Something ate my king, but there was still a big chunk of the journal undiscovered, so I guess it was a bad ending.
Your music and art style are just mind-blowing! But I’ll admit, I expected a different experience from this game for some reason. I don’t know — considering the overall vibe, I was hoping for something more like an Animal Crossing-style game: just fishing, collecting stuff (with the option to examine the art more closely), and chilling. I would even buy something like that! But that’s on me for having different expectations. You did an incredible job!
Your art is awesome! I found the combat system a bit too slow and easy, but the core of the game is really solid. With a few adjustments to the combat flow to make it more dynamic, it could become a very interesting game!
One of the most atmospheric games out there!
Love the idea. After a few minutes I noticed that I started to understand a few words! I think I will come back to this game from time to time. Love these kinds of puzzles.
This game desperately needs some nice drinking animation and sounds! The bottle opening is satisfying as hell, though.
Very nice game! Cool style, and I got immediately hooked by the gameplay. It would be nice to have some kind of queue for active projects, because sometimes I couldn’t remember what I was working on. But pretty solid and complete experience overall!
Very creative take on the theme! I don't agree with the other commenters here — making the path visible before release would trivialize the task quite a bit. Calculating the most effective orbit is the main point of this game, after all. But maybe it’s possible to add some kind of indirect assistance, like visualizing the gravitational pull of the star.
So simple, yet so entertaining. It was way more fun than I expected! I like how they all have different movement patterns, and the designs are very original too. Maybe I’d adjust the spawn rates, though, because sometimes it took me a few minutes of playing before a new, undiscovered bug appeared.
I really enjoyed playing this game. It has potential for a full release! I don’t really see how it fits the theme, but it’s fun and unique — so I guess that’s all that matters in the end. Also, it’s nice to see a jam game that’s so clearly explained and intuitive.
Reminded me of WarioWare with all its minigames. Maybe it would be better to make them even shorter and a bit more randomized.
Very relaxing game. The music is fantastic!
@jag hey! Thanks for the detailed feedback! Yeah, I agree, the jumping mechanic just doesn't feel good. We spent the whole first day trying to customize the default Unreal controller to fit a 3D platformer (there were quite a few parameters missing, like separate jump and fall speeds, tighter air control, and so on), but sadly it was taking too much time for too little improvement, so at some point I had to call it "It Just Works" and move on. That problem also meant I only really started designing the level on the last day, because the character movement kept changing constantly.
Anyway, there's another ending in the game that is easier to achieve (it's a shorter route and there's no jumping), but it's trickier to find. I’ll give a small hint: at some point, you need to run in the opposite direction of the lighthouse.
I already commented on the other post, but I'll repeat it here in english for visibility sake. The level design is a bit confusing, sometimes it feels like the game is guiding you to jump onto certain boxes, but in reality you can’t jump on them and you’re not supposed to go there. That said, I understand it, we didn’t manage to polish everything in our own game either. But the visuals and atmosphere are amazing! Congratulations on the game!
