Really loved the visual style. And the voice acting is just OP!!!)

indigowolf 2025-10-06 16:58

I think this is probably my favourite entry so far. Very original, funny, well executed idea that actually made me want to play until the end. Great art and sound design too. Amazing work!

Such a fun game, very funny and original idea. Genuinely enjoyed playing it!

enad96 2025-10-07 11:37

This is hilarious, great idea implemented so well!

2025-10-07 11:44

Really loved this! Fun balance of manic typing, clicking, and laughing at the insane emails I was sending out. The visual execution was also top notch. Thanks for the game!

2025-10-07 11:51

This game is a really fun time! The gameplay works well and everything is well polished overall. Kudos!

2025-10-07 11:57

Very fun game! Really liked the graphics and the gameplay was very well balanced

cahard 2025-10-07 11:58

Really fun game. The design, and especially the sound, are top-notch 😂 The only slightly annoying thing is the slow scrolling in the offers window (if you scroll with the mouse wheel). Otherwise, it's a great game!

rionisse 2025-10-07 12:05

Everything is so well put together! Very cohesive, funny and to the point. It would be nice to have some background music, though.

2025-10-07 12:23

i dont like how similar this game is to my life. The game is fun tho

leorean 2025-10-07 12:24

Wow this is incredible. You really captured the corporate horror in this one :joy: It's like a 2025-simulator

2025-10-07 14:40

my god this is amazing!! i love the sound so much and visually its perfectly simple but iconic. amazing job!!! started playing laughing and having fun but after 10 min i actually felt overworked and drained so good job hahahaha

ali-enver-sevgi 2025-10-09 07:23

Nice gameplay and sfx.

blue-pin-studio 2025-10-09 07:25

I am going to send this to so many of my unemployed friends. Its a horror. Why have you made it? Really impressive take on an OS with a lot of attention to detail for the windows and QoL stuff like highlighting windows!

ranejeb 2025-10-09 10:35

I had an absolute blast managing 5 interviews at the same time. Very realistic game! Made me laugh and made surprised how well OS simulator works for a 72h jam!

hugohil 2025-10-09 10:38

This is crazy good, the vibe and mood are perfect! i loved it, great great job!

flaterectomy 2025-10-09 10:46

This is a very cute little spinning-plates clicker! It took me a while to notice I could upgrade, and I had some cash to spend at that point. Once calls didn't time out anymore it was just smooth sailing to retirement. I like the art, the voices are fun but perhaps a couple more variations would've been cool. I think I only got fired once (that I noticed) so perhaps it could've been a little more difficult. Very cool concept and nicely executed!

artificer 2025-10-09 11:01

bing bing bing bing yabaka muj a mana mi nu

This was a blast! I really liked juggling calls and applying for new ones not knowing if i would be able to handle all the clicking. Really polished and tons of fun, the progression is great for gametime and I love the old windows aesthetic. Excellent entry

Jokes on you, this is my actual day-to-day (cries on the inside). Jokes aside, very engaging and **very** stressful 😅 Currency seems to be localized which is a cool touch, superb entry 😁

mamboman 2025-10-09 11:33

I love every aspect of this game! unfortunately i was constantly distracted by work while playing :P Very well done! Thanks for sharing!

yibirabbit007 2025-10-09 11:59

A very funny game, it seems that everything is just repetitive typing and phone calls. After leveling up, the work becomes easier, but there are more and more tasks to do...

Love from the same computer art

jorbits 2025-10-09 12:11

@khamekaze thank you for the kind words. The currency is indeed localized, but apparently does not seem to work for @yibirabbit007 - whoops! Glad you all enjoyed the game so far!

xhadie 2025-10-09 12:48

This was such a blast. Could not stop laughing! Very simple but addictive in the best way possible! The voice recordings are genius. I would not be suprised to see this among the top ranks!

nnnnneeeedddd 2025-10-09 12:59

they're CALLING ME, and I'm RETIRED....

This is my favourite game so far. This is absolutely incredible work

yibirabbit007 2025-10-09 13:01

@jorbits Also, these UI overlays can be a bit too random at times, which is somewhat torturous for someone with OCD like me haha.

But I still love this game ThanksCAT.gif

staticrose 2025-10-09 14:11

Big fan of the retro aesthetics! Loved it.

bumble 2025-10-09 14:11

I like how this game gets more and more frantic up until a point where you can just reap the fruit of your work by having completely overpowered upgrades! Really well made short game loop for a jam and with perfect corporate but fun style!

eugenik 2025-10-09 15:55

Absolutely love the style, the game looks gorgeous.

naru 2025-10-09 19:54

Awesome game! I love the idea and gameplay ^^

custodi 2025-10-09 23:45

Very authentic interface, excellent implementation. Gameplay perfectly captures vibe of programmer in 00s-10s.

kupnu4 2025-10-11 13:08

exceptionally hilarious :D and very much true. It started pretty innocent, but escalated quickly. It reminded me of a period in my life, but there is nothing better than to retire early! ret.png

wouter52 2025-10-11 19:07

I had a blast playing this one! The UI feels pretty neat actually, you made that work perfectly. I like the quality of life implementations, like the little msn-buzzer feature when a dialog screen needs attention

At first I thought I could actually type the email haha

2025-10-12 16:28

Sure does feel like this sometimes. I think the upgrade system worked very well as it let me control the complexity and build my economy. I was never fired from a job as a result. I like how the minimal murmur sound builds into a crowd sound. The Windows NT inspired setting felt right too; the small simple windows let me tile the calls and keep track of them. I also appreciated how calls close to timing out jump to the front! Saved me a few times. Great job!

bryceltaylor 2025-10-13 22:38

This is great! If only getting a job was this easy in real life.

I love that there is a built in tension between getting more jobs and keeping up with all the calls. I enjoyed the outrageous cover letters, though I didn't really have time to read most of them.

Super fun!

jabzey 2025-10-16 00:21

This is super impressive. Great idea and cleanly executed. It stays engaging and manages to be actually funny. Great work!

willoxs 2025-10-16 21:13

Such a great game! And a goal I can really get behind.

I managed to apply for every job pretty much immediately and only got fired once. The challenge would be a bit higher with one or two more mechanics for keeping a job (i'm sure there was no time for it though) sprinkled in.

But seriously even though the gameplay is simple there are so many lovely details that it doesn't get boring at all (also you are kinda stressed - who figured?). I love the ultra confident tone in which we write the letters. The OS aesthetic was great, you even have a background colour option.

And finally the ending being part of the upgrade system is a really clever way to tell us what we are working towards, and the upgrades themselves were also cool (though the no timeout one is a bit extreme imo).

jorbits 2025-10-25 11:05

Thank you to every one who played and rated the game! This is the best I've done in any game jam!

wouter52 2025-10-26 07:46

Congratz on the results! Every category has 4 or higher stars, that is very impressive!
