This is a cool idea and nicely polished! Like other folks, I did find it very difficult. I feel like with a few number and hitbox tweaks this could become really satisfying. In particular, grappling arrows is really difficult.

Nice entry though, it remind me of old flash games, both in art style and brutal difficulty :)

This is super impressive. Great idea and cleanly executed. It stays engaging and manages to be actually funny. Great work!

Slot of Death by wolderado 2025-10-07T02:42:02Z

This is amazingly polished for 48 hours. The visuals and animations are clean and cohesive and there's lots of nice little touches. I especially love the carpets, which have the exact disorienting feel of real casino carpets.

I thought the basic gameplay loop was satisfying, largely driven by how good it felt to pull the levers, watch the machines go, and pick up the coins at the end. I think there is potential with some tweaks for make the ordering/timing of activating machines more important, which could be fun.

I will say that from a usability perspective that I spent a minute trying to figure out how to activate the machines behind the bad guy to start, because I didn't bother turning around to see the big tutorial pop ups. That may be my own weakness with first person games, but I thought I'd mention it.

Again, amazing that you pulled this off in 48 hours! May I ask about what your 3d pipeline looks like? Your textures give a pixel art vibe, but in 3d. Do you hand paint those? In substance painter?

@wolderado Thanks! I'll have to check out Blockbench

This is really cool! I feel like we had similar inspirations for this jam (Galaxy Trucker) so it's interesting to see how different our final products were.

I think this captures the comedy of the concept perfectly. In particular the wild spinning and smashing into rocks was entertaining. I will say that I got stuck at the beginning of the third stage because I wasn't able to attach new parts anywhere on my existing ship. It would be great to have a bit more UI clarity with how that system works. But, overall really nice work!

Nice work! I really like that this theme encouraged people to make games about their nerdy hobbies :)

On small criticism I have is that the movement doesn't feel quite right. I think character controllers are tough to get right, even in a simple game like this, but they make a really big difference for the overall experience. A little bit of momentum, more responsiveness, etc. would go a long way.

I was impressed by the size of the environment. It feels like a guitar collector's mansion. Good work overall!

This is nice! As other's have said, the cute graphics are definitely a highlight. I think this fits well in the cozy game genre and could be compelling with a slightly more fleshed out gameplay loop and a bit more dialogue. Nice work!

The Strongest Army Is Already Dead by ullent 2025-10-17T02:36:22Z

Nice little auto battler! As others have said, the creature sprites were definitely a highlight. And I thought there was the right amount of variety in enemies for the 5-10 minutes of current play time.

I switched up my team consistently and tried to make a balanced roster (healer, archers, tanks, etc) but I am a bit suspicious that those synergies mostly existed in my head. I feel like there's something missing at the core that would make the decisions of which creatures to collect for my roster more interesting. Maybe that's a refined mana system, or maybe that's a more complicated system of buffs and synergies between different creatures.

Overall, nice entry!

The Compliance Enforcer by Frib 2025-10-16T00:14:57Z

This is great! I respect the ambition of doing a story and non-trivial gameplay in such a short period. The gameplay was fun! With a bit more juice and a few rough edges sanded down I bet it would be even more fun. Nice work overall!

Nebula FM by Chariot 2025-10-17T15:41:22Z

Love the art style and visual polish! I was able to get notes moving with the conveyor belts. It would be nice to have a drag option for building out conveyors, eg. click on one tile and then drag 5 tiles away and it would add all the conveyors in-between. Of course that's not at all straight forward to program so I don't begrudge you not having it in a jam game :)

Good work overall!

The Grande Concoction by Artificer 2025-10-07T14:26:18Z

This place is a massive osha violation! I really enjoyed exploring the environment. The first time I looked up and saw all the winding stairs was really striking.

I did have a tough time collecting the items. The hovering is difficult to control, which I think is part of the charm, but did lead to a lot of running up and down stairs for the same item. And I'm terrible at finding items in 3d, so I quickly lost track of what I'd put in already, what items I know about, etc. I think a checklist and some indicator in the note that ordering matters (sorry if that exists and I missed it) would go a long way!

Again, well done! I'm amazed you made all those assets and arranged them so compellingly in such a short time.

Thanks everyone! @bereg Galaxy Trucker was in fact the original inspiration

Thanks for playing everyone!

@Threeli No current plans to continue development, but we'll see what the future holds!

Numismatic by David Sheffield 2025-10-07T03:11:33Z

This has a lot of depth for such a short jam! I went negative my first run, but I made a modest profit of $50 in my second run.

I wonder if the tile generation could use some massaging to encourage the core loop of flea market -> coin shop at the start. Because in my first run through I hit like 5 auctions in a row first, lost them all horribly, and was a bit confused.

I am really impressed by the variety of coins and their stats. It feels nerdy in the best way possible. Unfortunately I know nothing about coins so I'm not sure I can fully appreciate that bit, but the passion definitely shines through!
