Wow what a satisfying step sounds, really well made! The graphics and general feel of the game felt good as well. Really good entry, best of luck!

But he spits everything out! (well except the mustache!)
Honestly, I didn’t quite figure out what to feed it besides the mustache - but I had a lot of fun running around that cool tower. The environment is really well done!
really great environment created in just 2 days! The magic wand was fun to move items around with! I did have a bug where I fell halfway through the floor and was then seemingly standing on the underside of each object instead of the top. This bug started down on the bottom floor/basement area if that is of any help! nice art!
@stef-studio-7 Thank you, I really put my all into it! Thanks for the bug info, it's an issue where sliding off an objects collision reports a ground collision but they happen faster than the animation to do a head bounce on landing can reset causing the height to just keep getting lower. Not sure if I can upload the fix under compo rules but thanks for the positive feedback!
Wow, so many level assets in two days! Nice looking game. Wish the note to be more readable
Thanks everyone for the helpful feedback! I just uploaded a new version with fixes and the patch notes are in the description. Thanks for playing y'all  @stef-studio-7 @bereg @jojocanard @appoxgames @02fc
It's a lovely environment; two bounce pads and it'd be a Quake map.
The environment is clean but it took me a while to figure out what to feed. Good luck afterwards
This place is a massive osha violation! I really enjoyed exploring the environment. The first time I looked up and saw all the winding stairs was really striking.
I did have a tough time collecting the items. The hovering is difficult to control, which I think is part of the charm, but did lead to a lot of running up and down stairs for the same item. And I'm terrible at finding items in 3d, so I quickly lost track of what I'd put in already, what items I know about, etc. I think a checklist and some indicator in the note that ordering matters (sorry if that exists and I missed it) would go a long way!
Again, well done! I'm amazed you made all those assets and arranged them so compellingly in such a short time.
Hopefuly, there is no fall damage  Nice little game, I wanted to see the end after feeding this great soup ! I little bit difficult to handle but nice entry anyway ! Great job!
Well whoever built THAT tower clearly had a fable for **CONSTANTLY FALLING IN THE LITTLE NOOKS BETWEEN THE CAULDRON AND THE FLOOR** >:C
Super clean visual style, could have done with some music, but I loved the theme and execution. I actually had plans for something similar at one stage, so it feels doubly heart warming to see this come to life. Also pretty polished for 2 days. Well done!
@thingus That's a great idea! I wanted to add an airblast spell to get around but never got to it. I think a jump pad or two would fit right in
@jabzey wizards don't need handrails i guess. Thanks for the feedback, I think I'd make the items larger and remake the list for clarity if I do a later release. Cheers!
@klausklapper 0-0 sorry... I made the basement and that slight crack punishment for missing the cauldron and it's a little too good at its job LOL. Thanks for playing!
cool entry and very awesome first Ludum Dare entry! welcome to the community :) you have done a great job in just two days. the visuals are clean and the movement works wonderful, even if i fall a few times xD - you should be very proud of yourself! looking forward to your next entry
Great game! I loved the visuals, and the sounds are excellent! I kept falling through those little cracks, though. :D
I fell several times in the gap between the cauldron and the floor. Very nice game.

I love how silly the writing is in this. Had fun climbing the staircase looking for the right things; would be neat if there were some decoy items to throw you off the scent lol. Great work on your first compo entry!
I LOVE all the hand-written letters!
As others have said, the art's good and it's very easy to fall (mostly in a funny way). I did have a little bit of trouble getting it to actually pick up the potions, but overall nice work!
I would like to play but camera doesn't move(
@Custodi Try clicking inside the window when it starts then moving the mouse or playing on itch and doing so. Because it needs to capture the mouse cursor to work I sadly can’t make it do that by default on the web, it has to be through a user click :/ if that doesn’t work then what browser are you using? i’d like to fix it!
Game plays bit junky, aiming things into the pot was tricky, they failed to get in, I fail standing on the platform. But the double layer stairs are actually pretty cool, also that weird sound when things get in (or not get in
Overall, it's quite good. However, I think the physical effect processing is a bit strange. It often doesn't land in the pot but instead rolls down to the bottom for me to pick up. Maybe it's because I didn't master the method. But it's still a great job!
Nice game and cool take on the theme! It's really cool you were able to make a first person game with quite a big map, all while making it run smoothly in browser.
Lovely game! I had the nice 'eurika' moment of seeing it was a double-staircase, then was able to happily search for everything. Very joyful to bunny hop around, dive off the staircased, and dunk the ingredients (thank you so much for not adding fall damage). can't believe you made so many 3d assets for a compo game! Great work!
@ugly-robot oh, a double-staircase...
Cool concept, I like how it fits the theme!

Movement is way too floaty and unintended falling through a floor gap stopped being funny after the 20th time. It's not immediately obvious that you have to feed the cauldron in order. Good visuals.
The artstyle is really nice, I really like that low poly aesthetic with flat shading. The movement was fun and the spiral staircases made a nice level for running up and down. It was good when the pot spat out items to send them flying after all that effort to get them in in the first place.
good graphics and effects IMO (yummy), but I had no music, which would have greatly increased the mood of it all. always hat-off for a compo entry though.
amazing variety of assets for a compo entry! it's a fun game, apart from constantly falling through gaps :)
Nice game! It's well complete especially for a compo. I would say lighting (and maybe a toon shader) is the main thing that could be improved to have a quick jump in overall quality. Great work!
this is a fantastic concept, i can see it being fleshed out into an amazing game
Loved it! It's amazing that you made this environment in such a short amount of time - it looks great! And it was fun accidentally putting in the wrong items and seeing them get yeeted back out 😂
For a compo game this is fantastic. If I had to suggest something, it could benefit from a little bit of music and if the requested items were different each time. I was able to complete it without suffering any bugs, and the sound effects were excellent. Great entry!
I don't really have anything to add to what others have said, but I do think this was impressive to put together for the compo! Nice work!
That strange feeling when you’re doing weird things in weird circumstances for weird reasons — and still having fun =) Also, I have a suspicion the creator might be a medic, judging by the handwriting.

So cool for a first LD!! Impressive ^^ and you did this all by youself? Crazy
Congrats on your first Ludum Dare!!!
I recorded myself playing, and I hope me being terrible isn't frustrating to watch, ha!

Nice take on the theme ^^
@100th-coin Thank you so much for the gameplay! I was really enjoying it until the ~10min mark where I was overcome with guilt and started regretting adding the gold trim of the stairs... outside the hitbox, and making the center hitbox a circle, oh and making the potions roll so much, and and and even making a basement to punish the player for missing... I repent  On a serious note I REALLY appreciate you going through all that; the feedback is heard and if I ever make this a full game you're getting a free copy! You're the first person to mention a mouse bug, I just tested it, and I can't get it to replicate. If you don't mind, what browser were you playing on and at what total screen resolution (the mouse is based on viewport so I'm thinking maybe a float -> int rounding error in the window scale is putting the excess of the float into the look rotation)
@avhatar HAHA not a medic, I just was rushing as I made, modeled, and implemented the letters in the last 30 mins of the jam :x glad you had fun!
And a
to everyone who has played and rated my game! The feedback and compliments mean a lot to me :two_hearts:
I was playing in Firefox, just using the embed on this page. I think it's about 950 by 332 pixels? My actual monitor is ultrawide, at 5120 by 1440, but I don't think that's relevant?
Good drag&drop system. But I believe there is too much walking.
Very cool work, I like your idea and its implementation, well done!
Well done for you first Ludum Dare!! Good ideas and the overall game is nice and would just need en little more polishing. Maybe to improve even more the player experience, it would be interesting to limit the portion of the level where you can get stuck! But very well done anyway!
@100th-coin I’ll give it a shot on ultra wide and with those settings. Much appreciated
Shame the mouse is so laggy the experience is disrupted. It wasn't particularly hard to get through, but at first the instructions really didn't come through and had to spend a few moments on head scratching at what I was meant to do. Atmosphere and art were absolutely a highlight while gameplay may have been a bit thin.
I would like to extend the floor of the cauldron so that I don't fall into the gap, and remove the physics of objects crashing into the player when they are carried, so that I don't fly on objects) Otherwise, it's a very fun game with the search for items for the potion, but it lacks the ability to cross out correct items that have already been added to the cauldron.
@artificer I had a controller connected!!! That's what caused the mouse to keep going up on its own. I'm using a dualsense controller, and for some reason, the left trigger is controlling whether the screen moves up or down.
Sorry I'm late to playing your project, today was the first day I could get back on the computer, but I'm here now so let's go!
It seems like the discourse is mixed when it comes to how the movement feels, but honestly I like it quite a bit. The running particularly has a solid feel and I like how it syncs well with the audio. I'm blown away you made this many assets for the Compo, just a ton of effort all around. Solid work!
Movement and physics need a bit tuning, but I love how the game looks and vibes!
Really great modelling for the given time! Took me a while to understand that you meant to throw things into the cauldron. And it has to be in the order listed.
Gets quite laggy on my trusty old PC, but it's web, so that's to be expected. The ledge around the cauldron is annoying, I kept falling in.
Fun! There was some mouse drift but worked ok
mmm yummy
