Graphic is amazingly polished! It could be a smooth++ experience, if click and clickables show some feedbacks, outlines or sound form ones
I like their shape and color, as if they are fruit ice bowls and looks delisious. They just wait and no complain, and been cute, really cute game! (It will be cool if I could pay other upgrades like, zoom out camera and has another elevator
graphic and animation is really dynamic, gameplay at first is really cool. A little problem is that the writing animation is a bit slow after first seen, and I have to check it multiple times, actually all the time, cause it's hard to simply remenber all the graphs to draw.
OMG, this game has way more devils and evils than a devil theme summoning game.. And all you do is just feed hungry bears little salmons!
the idea of salmons and bears is so catching (would be nice if the control is mouse direction based.. it's a bit stuck (the water effect is amazing!
adorable little golems! I found that make a water one along with a fire one is very powerful. (the enemy witch only taks one damage at once even if I send two golems... this could be designed better

I like how everything works, cute dog and flying wizard, the enviroment, sound design, everything is just fits everything! (also nintendo ish shortcuts are really cool, and multi use case in the last level, cool, too!
ps: it's sad that ancient wizard's magic hamsterball can not prevent his little pet from high tech lazer..
At first I really had no idea what this game is about, or the fact that I can actually pick things up.. it would be nice to just have a simple jam style text page as opening.
Still cool though, I do enjoy playing it as Doom for the first few minutes. (I was thinking maybe I need to kill like 50 in speed run to get that entrence fee... please add more tutorial stuff, it's confusing.
The game is so completed. The gradually added gameplay as tutorial is amazing, and even better is the ost, specially when in round three, comes that 13 damage card, and plus that soundtrack, the rock paper scissor game goes really wild!

Really really good, so far the most impressive one. The gameplay is unique, the feeling is unique, like a action movie... But because its new, it takes some time to understand how to play properly.... I think this can be easily fixed if, maybe add a defence block in the very first encounter, so that the player only need to press E, then there's no blocks they would realise that maybe they should use mouse scrolls.(at first I had no idea that I suppose to use mouse and E in the same time! ) Or add a blocking effect to the bullet line, when it can be blocked, the light will be blocked, too. Or simply indicate that mouse is also needed.(Update: I replayed on this issue and found the not-very-visible little mouse icon...It doesn't looks like mouse....)
OMG this is so good and completed, has some really playable vibe in all 3 minigames?! (But the first two are toooo sllipery (not that frustrating though.
Add some punch sound feedback and it can be really fun to keep punching. Art and camera is so stylish!
Nice graphic design! Strategy is a bit narrowed due to the same generation style and limited play, but on the otherhand, it is minimalistic and nice game to play serval times!( most red dots only gives negetive feedback..Maybe I was in bad luck..
little bug: rarely but I got 2 bubbles in basically the same position, cause I went there, and ate a small hidden one first. or it could be some trigger issue to the big one, idk
it get frame drop in like 800.. But that glitchy kind of framerate is much similar to old-modern-city-ish neon light scene shots, and looks cool!

The flower generation is too limited, many times I found it hard to get one in the entire map... so many particles here, nice feeling, but a bit distracting, idk if this engine supports, but it will be better to be in background and have a dimmer color. the tiny followers on the ground is confusing in the beginning.
but, the idea and touch is really unique, I really like the vivied feeling on such limited pixels

Sorry, this is really not the game for me... It's cool, and interesting. But I just can't manage my brain through these combos of movement. I understand how I could climb, bounce and jump, but it won't work together.
It could have a more beginner friendly control method, for example, do whatever mouse click, generate platform according to the player's facing direction, or do another jump after double jump to call a platform for standing. This will make it easier to start yet still has the deepth of gameplay, like how 3d mario does.
The idea is really interesting. But gameplay is a bit plain, specially when I ran out of cards. Cards are not catching up, but are amost meant to be used out of. if there was more divercity in cards, like allow me to draw extra cards, it will definately be fun to play.
Once I openned the itch page I recongnized you! The priciple's-office vector-graphic damn-good-web-design guy!
So complete and smart in terms of graphic (Of course for that vector-graphic damn-good-web-design guy), sound, and mostly gameplay itself! Mechanic-wise it's a very good plantformer. Love a lot of how that front layer of shadows works as visual guidance, this fancy trick only appears in good games where designers cares a LOT, and this is it!
(This time the itch page doesn't merge once game started, so a bezle-in-game could help)

Why can't I rate Audio, never felt this nerved up on a guy chewing apple sfx haha. The difficulty curlve is a bit steep, tutorial and first 3 or 4 waves are a bit plain... But the end one is quite a lot of fun!

This really is a beautiful demo that shows so much potential, it has the Flower game's charming and cozy flow, except the lack of further playthrough design and more crafted levels, and mostly SFFFFX! But the particles themselves alone are more than enough to be appreciated, really beautiful tiny creatures...
Of course this is tiny, each creatre only takes bits of data to exist lol, very detailed little game! (Leg animation's speed seems way too fast and causes afterimages on my brwoser, idk why but this is nothing important)

I didn't expect the weird motions that bad, it might be fixed better by showing exactly how it works from a farther camera first, then zoom in to actual play. And the spacebar or boss thing as well, me during development just takes too many things for granted and thanks for mentioning these blind spot issues!

I won't rate this game but, This game is pure garbage and I've seen way too many of these, before rushing making a fancy huge-story-telling game, please at least, learn a bit of basic design stuff please, or any game making skill that comes useful, because as i can tell, this is purely packed with nonsence baby yellings and no grown-up skills at all. And is based on beginner-level nonsense platformers? Play some freaking Mario before jumpping into wells that you have no idea how deep it goes for just being cool, it's NOT cool.

Idk if you played a recent game UFO50 or not, a game in that game goes to similar to this one. Graphic is unique and cute though, and I like that custom loading screen it's cool

Haha this made me laugh a lot, the monster could have a bit more hp and use float type to increase that huge epic feeling. Player should probably shot by default with some simple machine gun bullets, now I just wait for skills to charge is a break in consistency.
SFX need more balancing, but the beautifully balanced SP laser is so freaking cool, haha I knew exactly what will come, but it still just banged and smashed on my face, looks really cool.
Also nice graphic choice, simple and effective.
I get the feel, it's an adorable tiny gamey but is far from complete, cozy sim like this really benifits a lot from nice juicy SE and background music.
Feels like the multistar thing is a bit of a extra (looks cool though), might end better if focused on the Earthy alone but still maintain this vast universe vibe, and spit some time on sound effects, using simple tools like chiptone or cc0 se packs online.

This is my best so far in ld57, absolutly outstanding! Sound, yesh! Graphic, brilliant! Gameplay,nice and brilliant. Vibe, super tense and hyper good and brilliant.
So I find the trick to qualify amount of movement by quicky press arrow buttons serveral times, some thing like 5 down 4 left, and wait for it to happen, there is almost no risk failing. But it still plays! And is even more fun when I did so.
Shaders are smart and effective, noise is the best, sfx is the same, I like how effective this game is and delivered everything alltogether in such polished form. Love it!
Also it's such good explaination on the theme!! Depths with latency? That's freaking genius

Nice little game! I like how you decide to go with momentum + leap year(which is on the opposite, has 0 momentum), it's fun, and the idea is delivered within the levels' design, pretty cool.
around 1100m there is a hack to jump directedly into the water and escape a save point, that was cool lol.(Also too hard I cant make myself through that water cave that was painful
@lightningst I like the levels, what is hard is probably the learning curve, it's a bit stiff like retro 20th old games... And the water level is where this stiffs instantly high, like all of a sudden the levels became waters and all that gravity knowledges learned before were gone.

@aly-name Thanks! I do spent a lot of time on graphics, so here is the thing: Yes, pixel-ish shadow is a shader material applied on stairs.
The tech used is called Dithering, and can be applied on anything, 2d or 3d, you can find many examples on the internet for any engine, very easy and classic approach.
The gradient effect on the pixels is also part of the shader, by calculating the distence to the player, it twicks some variables of that dithering, make the pixels density higher or wiseversa.
I really like dithering, it is very simple and also quite effective, and has a lot potencial when gently twicked.
Also, other than stairs with dithering, rest part is just the same noise shader I found online, and a bit of color design of course, I dedicatedly chose different white and gray, to make everything looks organic altogether.

Very fun design! I like this stick tetris and the way you made levels, very interesting concept.The levels themselves could be more polished though, like adapt a lager scaled grid, make key infomations nice and clean and etc... but its just compo, concept alone is more than enough to be liked!
It wasn't that polished, sort of buggy control, failed many times to reach the end, but the vive dude, the vibe is standing out, thrilling a bit and definatly engages me to explore deeper and deeper, reminds me of darksouls

Also, I found that the journal is probably a big 3d model inside the main scene, the tower casts shadows on it! If you want better results, there is a trick doing that, put the book in a seperate scene and use subviewport to render it, enable it's own world3D to avoid any interactions, then it will render it as a 2d texutre in the 2d layer, that way it will always displayed above everything. I use this a lot, I like 3d immersive UI too!

Wow really deep play you got there, really plays, I was confused for 2 rounds, start understand things another 2 maybe, then start appreciate this, really brilliant design, simple and deep, that's all I should say. Plus everything is so complete that's amazing.
But, as an actual Chinese local human being:nerd:, I must say those Chinese charactor choices are a bit weird, like weird weird, sort of google translation back 10 years ago and applying for 10 times that kind of weird, sorry. It's just all kind of uncommon combinations and such, like the dodge charactor you used: 奠, means dead people monumenting, is sort of a symbol that always shows up when people dies, on there funeral.
Also, 喇(la)as a interjection is only used in Cantonese, rather rare, I didn't know this till I though it could be cantonese and googled. Other Chinese people would recongnize it as a music intrument(a horn), or even some Tibet relic related thing. More common choice is 啦 or 了
拾骨 and 金塔 are both kind weird but makes sence, just not giving the native feeling, or feels like a dialect thing, same as 喇 in Cantonese, are they? Because they pronounced in uncommon ways.
Overall only the 奠 thing is really weird, others are kind of fine or can be considered as some kind of flavor, design direction, a touch of some kind of niche dialect such, I'm kind confused, are they by design or just mistake?
Update: I googled 拾骨, it's 拾骨葬, A Cantonese and 闽南 culture thing! Haha, you taught me something I did know about Chinese, so 金塔、拾骨、喇 are correct usage just being niche, and all things has this interesting culture backgroud, interesting. (奠 is still weird though)
@antti-haavikko haha it is good enough for someone that knows little, I even guessed you having some cantonese friend or somelike that to go that much deep. (but 奠 is still weird, it gives similar feeling like gameover or you are dead, for dodge, the direct translation in traditional Chinese just looks fine, it's 閃shan, it is actually used in some games meaning dodge)
if you want more referances, check 山海经 the absolute old and good imaginative monster collection. Also, China has some deep impact by buddhism, 阎王, lord of hell, commonly reconglized here, is a buddhism god, you can follow this and probably find more interesting stuff. I know not that much about things, the Chinese culture is really rich and complex haha. Also Journey to the west, it has some bone related chapters, very classic, it's called 白骨精.
The only pico8-ish shortcoming is the odd control, otherwise it is no less than a reletively big engine game, such highly complete game just feels motivative enough to play, and I collected then all, there's even tinie shooting stars so cute
It has some interesting ideas, the butt coming from the horizon was definatly funny moment, the ring idea was cool, but made the control kind weird, the last couple stars were extremly hard to eat until I understood how this weird control system works...
This plays like Doom16 and feels absolutly good, the idea is quite mad, shooting goblin blended body parts mixed with poops to kill goblins, real human creation peak
Vibe is better than I even expected! I mean, few ld games can deliver this "once opened knows how to play where I am" feeling. It immediately tells exactly what this game is about and everything, that's already good enough.
Even better it follows up by presenting you a skill tree, a surprise that works for few rounds, then the dog? Cute as f**k.
At this point this is already into the good ones tier, but it does has some flaws, a lack of consistant interets, the game is too good in the beginning, and the idea of digging out the mixed skill tree was good, but there's just not a lot interesting skills.
Still impressive to see and play this jelly cutie thing, likes it a lot

游戏里写的是HorrorNight Silksinger,就是谐音丝之歌,丝之歌发售的时候出现了服务器被挤爆的事件,这里的上帝也因为这个原因(Aethernet也是谐音梗Aether+Internet,上帝用的神仙网络)没买到
copy在游戏语境里还有实体版光盘\卡带的意思,偷的是上帝没买到的游戏。
为什么会毁灭城镇:因为上帝还有一套Legod City的Collection(是Lego City+God的谐音梗)他想着来都来了干脆再带点新套装回去一不小心玩火了。
编这些双关冷笑话花了我不少时间:nerd:

This is actually a 5 people amount of good game, it's like one good people simply times 5, so many good things happening. Bot looking at the camera? Cute. Bot that somehow jumps? So cute. Bot that freaking flips freaking double jump?? Amazing. Then the helicopter, that later transformed to a meowlicopter?? GOAT. I'm not even mentioning the exaust turnels, the devil bot, btw answers the question why there exist 2 unboxed boxes, one original bot turned it's self a devil ,who probably is the evil behind those nails on the stairs and such lol. Even details are fine tuned, like the nice shinny wood floor and gray-not-that-reflective dust materials and everything. So good game I enjoyed it not enough, I'll probably blank out if sound and sfx exist thankfully this is a human team game not that perfect.
The idea is really good, but lacks some polish in terms of how infomation is delivered effectively.
UI for example, feels too small and not eye catching, shadows the smart idea of radio strength indicate the next tower, or capacity remains, they are just not that intuitive.
The player's illustrasion does not match hitbox? Or doesn't feels like that, I am actually good at similar games like Issac or Brotato but the I found myself hit by bullets that doesn't feels like they should hit me, a lot.
After I understand how things works though, I did enjoyed a round that plays quite fun, but the 3rd level has such bullet hell yet the hitbox thing just, I wish I could finish the game, cause it has some good level up tense and fun.
@custodi I'll just stick to facts here, I played the game for like 4 times, only till the close to end of the 2nd, to realize the radio signal strength, and that capacity dots, exist. They are kind of important part of the design, but not delivered quickly, my attention have always drawn on those batteries and bullets, these two however, are semi-transparent and slim, so maybe just raise the size, or a quick mentioning at the start.
Also, just played again to confirm things, I found something interesting, I thought, that the rechage, was done by time, so you have to stick around that tower till it's chaged, and I thought that's quite brilliant design, cause it makes the game tense up a bit, dodge bullets in a small area while charging. turns out its not? But that was fun haha.
The old fasioned control + actual space based acceleration is a bit weird. Camara is not following properly, if my memory is still correct, I think it may be fixed if the cam's position update code put some where in a physics update loop, instead of normal update functions.
The pixel physics is really cool, but requires constant laser focusing, specially when the beam is hard to aim percisly, goes less interesting... Plus, play control feels rapid (in a good way), too.
But the first time when laser shot out really got me, that was really cool
The style and visual is amazing, but when I get to the book shelfs E does not do anything kind stucked there, also didn't get how this is theme related though?

虽然比较稚嫩但是执行得很好是完整的游戏,还有些小细节,故事也是很可爱的,但是LD主要还是英语还是尽量弄个本地化吧,不然很难凑够20个有效评价的,这边也不是都是英语母语,但都是用英语交流的。事后增加一个英语本地化也是可以的,没有英语最好先表明不然人下下来也玩不懂

Game plays bit junky, aiming things into the pot was tricky, they failed to get in, I fail standing on the platform. But the double layer stairs are actually pretty cool, also that weird sound when things get in (or not get in
The kitchen scene is bit too dizzy and far away, the collision is so sensitive both good and bad, likes it anyway, the cat is cute, sound design is definatly good
The geometry kind of design looks good, drones looks cool, if everything trends that way it could be even better, font is a bit small though, and is not moving that handy, but the drones looks cool, nice top down shooter.
Got my first couple levels hit by chance, spent some time reasoned the logical rules and ways to solve them, find it actually quite brilliant and interesting, then I beat till Level 12 and there's just too much to swallow, at this point I know how to do it but just too much calculation :cry:
The idea is actually great, if you spend more time adding smoother learning curve it can really become a nice puzzle game, like fixed and fewer axis to start, after people get the basics then offer them full control, then lense and double lense. I mean this is exactly what you've achieved and its good, but just less stiff I guess
@mahalis hahaha I see, procedure generation always kind traps when doing compo, it is really black magic when time is so limited, Me personally tend to handcraft things as much as possiable, it's less fun but offers something more solid in the end, with that said you did really good job, it is compo anyway.
Much as I love this piece of gem, died literally hundred times trying that signal boost thing... ( great idea though, love those rings), I got close as the last ring for serveral times but the camera behaves weirdly and its too fast paced I just can't pass...
The vibe is crazily good, stupidly great details like the gas bassed stars dont hitboxes and you just get inside of them?! I wish I can actually beat the game I'm sure that'd be awsome
Update: I just can't give it up, rebot the game and somehow the camera angles are not the same as my first try? Suprizingly smooth beaten the game, I can't tell how much I love the boost to the mother sun from far away like that, this shit fxck me hard thank you for making it
I really kind want to play this but I don't have a controler on hand, music got juicy base and it looks kind promising. If you have plan adding keyboard support plz call me back

Okay it's really good, I got 684k, the block and double kind of idea is just good, but can be better dealt with when it goes complicated, when enemies added up there is too much block than double, minnor issues, it is good game!
This is brilliant, but also hard asf, I cannot do what I think in my mind, but I don't think that is game's issue, it is well made, good, but just hard. I can imagine the amount of tension and fun it offers if beat them all, but I just can't
you know what, despite how awful the control is, it is a unique kinda game, the vibe, the exploration it offers, and that disconnection noise, simple yet gold, and I like it
if there is a fix button, allow you to automaticly stop momentum like how OuterWilds does, I might actually ended up enjoy the control even.
Okay this is great, it is well made and constanly offers interesting and new ideas and the ending really makes it up hill, I really appreciate anyone making a full&well-made experience in compo cause god knows how hard that is, it peaks, great game!
Okay surely you don't need that much of juice on music stuff right? Sound of this game is all too great, the game is a simple connection mechanic but it has really good graphic, way of presentation and detials just makes it good
Is there a windows build? the compo version only contains linux and web, I download web the html didn't work...
(Also what does those weird Chinese charactors mean?? I'm a chinese and they look absolutly absurd out of no where :astonished:
@vydra I don't have linux but everytime I just export it and people played it fine. (Also Idk if I should tell you this... 丁丁 is a cute way of saying that thing, I believe the English term is willy :flushed: you can use alternatives like 十十 (or keep it like this it is quite funny and confuse people who can actually read them

I didn't really get the idea of sending signals, like generally why are we sending signals towards these stars? But it does offer kind of minimalism quirky space vibe, sort of like PapersPlease kind of feeling but stars, or that space movie by Andrei Tarkovsky.
Also associate signal to the Dark forest hypothesis is kind of a nice entry, good work!
I beat the game, the idea is good, I like the pun, and puzzles are good, but it'd be better if the router& can be replaced, I mean drag and drop or simply remove or even just undo, that's really the missing piece the game lacks.
Also some funny sound effects and cheap bgm will make it even better, if these people react to connections/disconnections, making stupid noises like "Huh?" or "Why?", that could be really funny
Beat the game, it got really I mean really cool visuals, but I still don't get color changing mechanic or it is just not quite interested to intrigue with, generally just wait for it to change is not that fun, lacks interactivity. Still quite impressive for your first entry, looks great(That is already something diffcult to achieve)!
well, the visuals are good, generally good, but mouse sensitivity too high yet FOV limited, not bad, just super weird. Speak of the puzzles, I literally can not understand how it works, come back read the tips yet still, that alien sound in radio raises despite blocks selected or not, I guess some sort of trade off for making such good graphic ( did I mention sound? Also good)
It's cool! Good choice for signal, it lacks a bit tension because you can literally fire infinitely with free armo, but still it has a great idea and put together nicely, good entry!
