Graphics were a bit too pixelated to my taste, however the whole vibe is very stylish. Good job!

ah thats very valid, we struggled a bit with the right balance between readability and graphical vision :P but glad the vibes are on point :DD
Love the vibes!
visuals were great and game looks cool but did not understand what to do also jumped off the map
A crazy universe, a bit outside the theme of the jam, the game is simply incredible with a unique graphic style, I let myself get lost in the streets of the game, assembling meals and kidnapping citizens! A real pleasure to have discovered it. Thank you and keep it up!
Very cool idea, really nice graphics (maybe a tinyyy bit too pixelated over distance, but still very cool) and the sound design was great too. The random voice lines were cool. Took me a while to figure out what to do but had a fun time!
The game is nice and the graphics in my opinion give a beautiful mood! (be careful that the repo is not public and gives a 404 error)
@abominablescience & @chaoticspear yahh xD we had a great time just making it super crazy and fun, glad that carried over so well and good to hear :') thanks for playing
@megh-menghani good point, I've made sure to include a lil extra note to the instructions next to the download now :)
@chiara-sanviti thank you, and ah I see it now, we'll make sure to adjust that :)
I really liked the esthetic, but I'm mad about the end of the game :(((
I first booted this without understanding anything and still had a really fun time with slaying innocent skeletons and the sfx.
Then I read the instructions on the page and still enjoyed the ride (even tho it was a bit more repetitive than I expected it to be). I like the fact that it's full of useless stuff that makes it feel like like a real game experience and not just a conjunction of game mechanics.
Tho a bit disappointed by the ending because the timer keeps running so I searched forever until I fell into the void and had to Alt+F4.
Still a really nice gem
@obanigarage Thanks for playing and the feedback <3
@magnat you're always free to go on another murder spree :D
This is what I imagine psychedelics feel like.
I didn't really understand what I was doing and didn't manage to finish the game but I had a good time exploring the map and I loved the voice acting. I also discovered you can do prop surfing with the meat chunks :D I fell out of the map at some point and wasn't able to get back in. If there was a category for artistic value this would absolutely get full points from me.
@initialposition We're glad you liked it :D It's a little unclear. You get orders, and if you deposit them, you can see on a screen above what you need to cook. Then you get money to enter the millionaires club ;D
Not a bad game, but there are some things:
1. Upgrade graphics a bit 2. Find some background music. freesound.org has great stuff 3. I could not pick up more than one thing. Need an inventory 4. Got lost in the dungeon, need some kind of bread crumb code 5. The cooking thing seems to be an after thought
Thanks for the game.
At first I really had no idea what this game is about, or the fact that I can actually pick things up.. it would be nice to just have a simple jam style text page as opening.
Still cool though, I do enjoy playing it as Doom for the first few minutes. (I was thinking maybe I need to kill like 50 in speed run to get that entrence fee... please add more tutorial stuff, it's confusing.
Hey @beebster-games I'm a little supsrised, every element of the world has background sound (not always music), it was all done personally though, we wanted to not use any pre-made sounds. But just to bug-check, you didnt hear it? as for the other elements, I think those are a lil more of a preference and our lack of tutorials xD thanks for playing though
Cool graphics, and the voice lines for the skeletons were funny. Liked the atmosphere but had no idea what to really do :D with the meats
@landerack
Yeah, I played it again. No musical background mood music. It would help.
Also, I needed to use taskmaster to kill your game so I could exit. You should have a default ESC key to leave the game at any time.
this is fucking crazy. pretty good. 10/10
The game is very good in my opinion, it seems a bit short but it's good, the graphics are fascinating retro psx, and the gameplay is replayable and cool!
i had no idea what to do, until i read the extra info on your itch page. but, hey, i had a ton of fun just exploring the skeleton city and causing skeletal chaos on those poor undead citizens. the sound effects were awesome. the aesthetic was cool but i couldnt read the text well. great job. also... i loved the secret disco party happening in the sewers. what a gem
Looks neat! The animations on the cleaver are very nice. I still couldn't figure out where to put my finished meal so I couldn't make money but had some fun choppin stuff up.

Nice little place behind the restaurant! :)
Otherwise it's a really fun idea, love the sound, style and gameplay is fun
It definitely needs more instructions on the itch page, but I was able to figure it out after a couple minutes - really good game loop, and the graphics were great, especially the skeletons. I forgot to get a screenshot before I closed it, but I somehow managed to grab the sign where you deposit items and move it? It happened at 450/500, so at first I thought it was an end where the kitchen falls apart and you can't make the 500g lol - overall really great entry, I had a lot of fun!
What is that little skeleton doing in that cage!? let him out. I really like the art and animation plus it was very funny when you stab a skeleton and they go "owowow". If this had a tutorial it would slap.
Many things were quite confusing and I spent like 10m trying to figure out how to cook, but then checked the video. I got to the 'end' eventually, but it was lackluster. I think the game would've benefited from a tutorial and less pixelated graphics.
Wonderful experience. Love the style of it and gameplay. Good job!
Good game love the art style
