Nice little game, not sure I would have won without the hints
Here because of the title xD Love the visual style immediately, makes me a bit nostalgic ^^
The music is very nice also, easy to listen to for even a long period of time. And the premise is so... real :')
It is pretty hard to figure out though, I admit. I have found 2 codes, but I can't understand them. 1234 with fruits - I did figure out on the third try, pretty smart puzzle.
The "letters" one I can't quite grasp. It feels important they are sideways, but the 1 sideways doesn't really turn into another number, 4 neither... etc. I can't really detract 1 and 4 from 3 if - is detracting, and it doesn't give me anything anyway. Had to use a hint after all! Didn't think of that at all, I really believed them being flipped is important somehow (though to be fair there was a = between them ^^')
And I clicked on everything but didn't find the 3rd code :(
@kanity I agree they are pretty hard. I wanted to come up with some puzzles that I had not seen in games before (except for the third one which is pretty common):) The third one you can find if you click on the screws on the right side of the printer.
As a non native speaker its impossible to understand the puzzle, unfotunately
For it was the fruits one that was really hard.
What even does "Number positions assending" mean ??? :scream:
Oh I absolutely hate printers too and this game has a sentiment that I can't help but find really funny, even if it can get a bit frustrating.
Figured out the fruit puzzle first and the line puzzle, while tricky, wasn't all that hard when you understand what you're looking for. Then there's that third puzzle on the side of the printer, genuinely no idea what it wants me to do. Yes, I read the hint and I think I have either completely misunderstood it or I'm really overthinking all of this.
Don't take that all the wrong way though, there's stuff I enjoy about this game. The laid back music contrasted with printer being a printer is fun, and the vignette of getting a 00's computer and a printer to talk to each other in this hand-made in paint look is a personal favorite vibe. Definitely some "been there" levels of relatable and even despite not even finishing the game, I respect it a lot. You set out to capture a vibe from a time, and you nailed it.
Gives me good nostalgic vibes of old flash games. Not sure I would have figured it out without the hints though. I was expecting more of the puzzles to be scattered throughout the room.
Good game! I solved all the puzzles even though I needed all 3 hints. I liked how you can interact with things in game, it looks satisfying.
Would be cool if puzzles were connected with each other in some way.
Loved it! Had to get a notebook out and all. It started well, and I found two of the clues almost immediately. I had many ideas but eventually I just had to take hints to figure out both of the first two numbers, which was frustrating, because I was actually close, but I hadn't done it quite right :') For the symbols I was trying to match them to the shapes of the fruits, because it felt like most of them were similar shapes.
Since there was no hint for the last number, I had to come here, and I found your comment about the screws. That one also stung, because I had been clicking almost everything except those. I should've probably been more patient.
The graphics look really nice and it's so nice how you actually get to move things around a bit, plug the printer in, press some buttons, get an actual printout etc. Really charming. The music and sounds are a nice fit too. I see you opted out of the audio category, so I guess you didn't make the music?
Overall a great little puzzler, thanks for sharing it!
