Saw your post in the feed at it immediately cought my attention. Super cool effect with the background, didn't even think about doing something like this. Though I think you need to punish the player when they try to move the mouse in the wrong time, because right now you can just constantly move without trying to match the beat. But maybe the game just makes you want to not cheat.
Pretty cozy, the music felt off but overall the game is well put, good job!
I had the game window in front of a solid-black terminal window when I first ran it, so I missed the screenshot aspect at first. I think if more color from the screenshot made it through into the background of the game it'd be easier to recognize.
I think you've got a good core mechanic and I didn't get immediately frustrated by input latency like I often do with rhythm-based games, but I would have liked some more variation in the music, the level, the number of bugs, etc.
@henk thanks for playing!
@skale Yeah that's why I call it a "zen" experience lol.(I did tried add things like that but didn't work well, feels too punishing, it is hard to make it feel right, specially when lacks fine tuning, however it definatly offers better depth and I do wish I could achieve something like that.
@barnabewild Thanks for playing and yes it lacks a bit of juice, I spent too much time on graphics so that is one of the outcomes haha
@henk Yeah I also noticed that issue, didn't find an elegant solution to it back then, and I did spend serval hours writting the rhythm part of the system glad it works for you!
Pretty chill, visuals are good, but yeah, probably would be better with some sort of punishment.
Definitely feels like a "zen experience" with very nice visuals. Some calmer music and clearer interactions would make this a great game to chill to. I liked it a lot :)
So cool!
Play_1.PNG
The game feels really fresh! Great concept and stylish sound design. Excellent work!
Woah! What an interesting entry! Never seen anything like it. Was fun to meditate with, and didn't over-stay it's welcome. I love jungle/dnb, so it was nice to have a rhythm game that uses it - that alone is unique.
Yeah - much greater than the sum of it's parts. This is why I love game jams! A beautiful and brilliantly unique thing.
Pretty trippy vibe with the graphics and music. I liked the rhythm aspect, and playing with the light. The bug kept bugging me though.
@nno1 @turotomo @ugly-robot @last-angle Thanks for all your likes and sweet words
I wasn't totally sure what I was and wasn't supposed to do, so I kinda made up my own rules! An interesting experience. Amen!
Nice design, art and driving music! Really pleasant experience! Good luck.
Very interesting! I love the concept. Love the lilies. They light up very prettily, and I appreciate the watery circles effect ^^ Also interesting how the game affected the screen in fullscreen!

Seeing LD page go wavy and colourful added to the atmosphere of the game xD
I have completed it! Short and sweet. My only complaing is that I feel like with zen pond the calmer and chill music would be more fitting. Thought I understand upbeat music was used to easier detect the beat, it felt like the music did not feel the atmosphere of the game. But other than that - a cool experience! :D
@kanity Thanks for playing! It's quite funny how 50% people like the beat and chills, and other half find it a bit too loud and want some actually chill chill music, I'm more comfortable adapting hard paced beats:nerd: though I can image it to be calm and peace... totally understandable!
Really cool experience, reminded me of Fruit Ninja and Pocket Frogs for some reason. Good job! Screenshot 2026-04-23 215921.png
@babyfoodstudios OMG why'd you stack the lilies that's soooo evil :scream: (Thanks for playing anyway...
I generally hat rhythm games, but this one was really interesting to play around with. Neat that you have to really think about your movement because of the way the fly moves, great design!
I'm really into this!
I tried to play but Linux build and Windows build using Wine didn't run on my system. Sorry.
@vydra oh.. I used a system api to take screen shot at the start of the game, even though the engine says that should support linux, I'm not that sure, It actually is important info cause I used the same thing on another game that I'm making... thanks for letting me know this!
Очень понравились эффекты, красиво, расслабляюще! Спасибо за игру!
A very original approach to graphics style
Quite the interesting aesthetic! I liked the music, though there wasn't a whole lot of rhythm involved in actual play, but I see potential anyway.
I really like how the beat keeps on building with your actions, reminded me of the dynamic soundtrack of Ape Out. Maybe some SFX and a scoring of some sort could have make it more engaging for the player. Right now it's more an experience than a game but the idea is really original!
Really fresh and unique concept — I don't think I've seen a rhythm game like this before. The jungle/dnb soundtrack alone made it stand out. The visuals and music together create a pretty trippy vibe, and I loved watching the lilies light up. That said, I was a bit confused at first about what exactly I was supposed to do, and the bug did bother me from time to time. Still, the whole experience felt pleasant and meditative. For a jam game, this is beautifully made. Great work!
