Beautiful pixel art, funny dialogues. Simple and understandable mechanics. Good luck.

Keep It Standing by Scarounet 2021-10-06T14:09:23Z

Nicely done physics puzzle, good art, maybe little annoying music. Levels 7 and 8 took some tries but was fun to play.

Solid, hardcore game with great music. Had to install OpenAL though.

Bakso Rush by Mac Dragoness 2021-10-06T12:04:27Z

This game is very fast paced, I have struggled with controls at first, but you can click on NPC after you press T.

Cute and nice sounding cauldron game aaaasUntitled.png

Wake me up when August ends by Beetrootmonkey 2021-10-05T12:51:30Z

Very nice aesthetic game, my laptop had some difficulties with chrome performance though

No More Stables! by Raphiell 2021-10-06T11:46:53Z

Really nice, rich game, I found the city part is the best. At the 12987 count I was scared for the moment, lol.

Gun-Stable by New Puldrix 2021-10-05T14:12:00Z

Very nice little game.

Unstable Atoms by Fersyvanderzee 2021-10-06T13:26:16Z

Nice simple game, with styled graphics, and could easily be expanded.

The Eye of Glower-On by UkuleleFury 2021-10-06T14:46:02Z

Cool game, those pesky bobbits always tried to sneak while earthquake is on timer. My only complain that killing often goes offscreen (orc runs toward enemy) and it wasnt obvious that I need to click mouse to hurl rocks.

Divine Intervention by YogurtTheHorse 2021-10-06T13:02:45Z

Fantastic art and music. Gameplay was fun, albeit I would prefer to keep manual opened while playing.

However, there is need to rethink controls. For example, I was able to beat rover mission just holding all 7 keys

Divine Intervention by YogurtTheHorse 2021-10-06T14:11:54Z

@yogurtthehorse what I mean, when you hold A for example, SDFG should be disabled, etc.

Shifty Showers by tetrapteryx 2021-10-06T10:38:46Z

Such great game, clever mechanics, puzzling levels, beautiful pixel art and tune. Keep up good work!

Core:Unstable by eyedromeda 2021-10-06T16:19:14Z

I see what you did here, I almost was looking for shovel. Great game anyway, stunning art. Game can be easily expanded say with defending from headcrabs

Capt'n Slippy by emrod 2021-10-06T18:17:09Z

Pretty difficult, but fun and good looking game.

Mercenary Diaries by Huntrox 2021-10-05T12:22:52Z

This appears to be nice looking clicker-like strategy 11235Untitled.png

For a moment I imagined that's SAO or something. Cute game.

Domi-No-Mercy by squimmy 2021-10-05T15:42:15Z

Very creative take on jam. Game could have more enemies to have some chain reactions

Warhead Stroll by cagibi 2021-10-05T15:45:19Z

Beautiful art, and nice take on theme.

Helico Pter by 3LSTMsInATrenchcoat 2021-10-06T17:00:05Z

Nice game, maybe a bit hardcore for me, but I beat 2 levels.

Explorer, Beware! by Tiago Cruz 2021-10-06T13:21:18Z

Nice little game, with pleasant graphics and clever mechanics. However I think I cut corners in some levels during walkthrough.

Blast Mine Catcher by 3amsoda 2021-10-05T14:19:08Z

Nice fun game, hardcore gameplay but is doable.

Fragile Payload by Connor Magson 2021-10-06T15:07:23Z

Nice game, too hard sometimes. I don't understand rules fully, guess it overheats just by rolling even when not driving actively, so I blew up 50 times in wind tunnel. Almost beat it, but cant handle last part. Fun game anyway, with nice graphics. AASUntitled.png

OMG, the moment when you begin to like toothbrush personality and it turns out to... that!

Rocky Eruption by Jojeando 2021-10-06T12:10:46Z

Okay, this is solid jam entry. May be little overboard with shaking and speed, but it was fun to play. Sometimes I was seeing tears between tiles. Good luck with the game!

Unstable Alchemy by AAAAAAlois 2021-10-06T12:47:50Z

Pleasant looking game, good luck with that

Losing the Signal by ByYiro 2021-10-05T22:24:22Z

Interesting game, pleasant art. I think signal could reappear gradually too as you closing to area, not instant.

Lemmini by aplegatt 2021-10-06T15:25:20Z

Nice game, I guess the game intended as bridge building and not hamster carrying, but at some levels it feels like there arent enough parts, like, to build long bridge or catapult. Good luck, great entry for compo

I can't remember by chesiq 2021-10-05T12:56:18Z

Very nice. It was really stunning moment where I had to go back for number. Mouse sensivity could be lower.

Re:Kotel by gdesecrate 2021-10-07T09:14:42Z

Nice game, I have enjoyed playing through it. Good luck!

Fun game, not great not terrible. Joking, very well made.

LD54 — Limited Space

The Despatch Rider of Hope by strong99 2024-10-07T18:17:02Z

Great art, good potential. I liked randomness of events, however agree that sometimes would like several options to work. Keep up good work!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Micro Wars by OddballDave 2024-10-07T18:05:53Z

Simple but innovative gameplay, liked variations of microbes. Moody art. Lot of potential of develop. For example some enemies could slowly rotate themselves, clearing surrounding you created. Also would like some dash ability, because moving when on opposite side of enemy gives too little angle.

@tuism I think spiked can be surrounded only one way (counter clockwise?)

Attack on The Piper by kiv 2024-10-08T18:28:45Z

Very creative, atmospheric game. Short phrases, yet gives all rats unique character, and so their wishes and motivations. Counting steps before tragedy (and Piper) really helps mood, as well as pipe sounds. I was very close on first walkthrough, but Piper got me. As afterthough, it's amuzing how well it works when you don't know what to expect, but literally it's almost programmed what player can do, even if it looks chaotic.

Donut the Hedgehog by Vegevan 2024-10-08T21:26:32Z

Solid game with interesting levels. Lovely hedgehog's head animation and music! I liked concept that being overhelmed slows you down. Altough it's sometimes hard to aim and shake them off. There was difficult parts with blowing stone before powerup running out. Very good job on level variance, that's maze, and chase, and stealth, very well done. Lets all eat sacred donut now.

Tiny Creature Word by candlesan 2024-10-09T11:28:18Z

Thanks for this clever game and take on theme! I liked extra words giving you a hint, and chuckled when at some point hint generated other hint. Last level was hard for non-native speaker, on the other hand, with enough dedication it can be bruteforced. sw.png

Fifty Six LilyPads by dhim 2024-10-07T19:18:41Z

Nice concept, games on graphs feels special. AI is understandable hard to create in limited time, but it does its job to showcase game. I think destroying every leaf is too strong move, would like some more stronger leaves that survive 2 or 3 move through them. Other suggestion might be roaming insect changing cell every turn in some determined direction.

Tiny Creature Dodger by pres2300 2024-10-07T06:35:50Z

Enjoyed this little game. Clever way to show health loss, nice movements and color choice. Good luck with your future plans!

Kill them with fire by Krabban 2024-10-07T17:37:03Z

Nice extermination game, enjoyed running around, then scared when found out swarm that left behind! Not sure if full health heals immediate or delayed

TiNY's GardEEn by ROBOWARRIOR1982 2024-10-08T19:09:56Z

Interesting 2.5D game! I didn't noticed how 2 tiny creatures got stolen, so I focused on remained one and clubbed all hunters lurking around. Second action (carry) didn't found much place in my play, may be I should carry them from the start so they sit together. I don't know if food is needed for tiny creatures to survive; If so, there could be many possibilities, like, tree gives limited number of acorns and acorns need to be planted to give new trees. Wish you good luck!

scr.png

Flea Patrol by Sviborg 2024-10-07T18:31:18Z

Nice game, good take on lemmings idea. It was so chaotic, sometimes not sure if I'm at control or they living by themselves.

W.A.S.P. - Warrior And Scout Protocol by Paroxysmal 2024-10-08T18:51:08Z

Solid game, simple at core but with added rich features through upgrades and increasing difficulty, requiring some strategic thinking and agile movement. Appealing retro styled art. The only complain is that shoot and buy buttons could be different so there wont be accidental upgrades.

W.A.S.P. - Warrior And Scout Protocol by Paroxysmal 2024-10-08T19:36:13Z

@paroxysmal I think that's because we were tapping each shot. This is not neccessary, it's just a habit and satisfying for player in shoot-em-ups. Actually there's virtually no reason to tap, you can just hold and shoot everytime. But that raises the question general to all shooters - if it's better to always hold and never reelase, why than button is needed, it could be just autofire :)

Space Station Pet Rescue Force by PerfectSquare 2024-10-08T22:12:25Z

Nice puzzle game with cute pixel art. It's interesting that pets has different abilities. May be you could even get away with only 2 keys for controls, since C and V usually mutually exclusive? However that may be not case if you add more items. Wondering what happens with shrunken keycard while pet cannot drop it.

Hold me closer by blazzguy 2024-10-07T17:52:41Z

Very atmospheric little game, lovely light effect.

Love and War on Your Face by Googoobachoo 2024-10-08T21:00:42Z

Very original game, about creatures struggling to live on someone head. Liked orbiting camera. I played and somewhat randomly won 1st time and randomly lost 2nd time. It's not very clear how exactly I start mating. It was feeling like I chase and cannot catch anyone, and even if we're near they ignoring me, then sometimes other colored creature produces larva among those couple of my color. I guess they did all hard work while I just travelled. Wish you good luck.

Moldable Monster of Mine by She Wrote 2024-10-08T16:32:25Z

Neat relaxing game with unique idea and cute lowrez style. I ended up with my witch (or clown firefighter?) taking more aggresive approach, shooting all first rather than evading. Wish there would be some backtracking or maybe even metroidvania thing. Or even could be some rythm elements. Wish you good luck!

witch.png

Subpixeana by gdman 2024-10-07T06:42:07Z

@pres2300 Thanks! It creates objects differently that I planned, but by deadline I kept it that chaotic way.

GELATINOUS INVADER SIMULATOR by Fint 2024-10-09T12:19:09Z

Nice cute game about GLOBalization with neat pixel graphics and simple one click mechanic leading to strategic depth. At first I had trouble with bombers until I read about right mouse button. Okay, now my guesses. Sent blobs became gray when attacking and then red when they are satiated, then they return collected blood to main blob which lead him to grow. Tanks giving strong threat but also big reward if defeated. So I adjusted tips given above, I send blobs in batches by 2-3, they are drawing fire from tank or large squads, then following blobs begin their massacre. My guess is aim was to get blob above 100 size. At some point I was overrun by tanks but get to regrow from 40 again. glob.png

Niblo and Mubbit by milq 2024-10-08T18:11:55Z

Great game about tiny creatures. Nice art and colors of them, which is emphased when they arranges in various patterns when you move them. Unexpected moral story ending. Level with wind took some time, but well, you can group them beforehand (oh, pun). Liked reference to 4 elements (rocks scared me, but they just staying firm later) Good luck!

Ladybird Samurai by ellaris 2024-10-07T19:04:55Z

Great game, was confused a bit with aiming, also liked that you can change upgrades afterwards.

Charge Carriers by ZombieWalrus 2024-10-09T12:40:43Z

Welcome to the Jungle by ejunegao 2024-10-07T20:36:48Z

Nice cute game. Interestengly, player is refusing to eat apples, on the other hand, he steals coins from other peacefully eating apples, and kicks them. Also at some point slimes got distracted by coin felt out of bounds.

NebuLeet Troopers by quasilyte 2024-10-08T15:55:12Z

Really neat game for a compo. Nice art with Dune vibes. It is has fair bit of randomness in it, but also requires strategic thinking. Currently I'm at level with 15 enemies charging through forest. There it became obvious that I should conserve more of starting troops. What I would like is a way to preview map, may be in form of briefing, like is it open terrain or attack from forest into field. Also I understand that this is like card game. Difference is in the input/output randomness. Here I click card and it's locked, instead of first drawing cards and playing them where player can control order.

Butterjar by Zz1p 2024-10-07T20:06:38Z

Beautiful style, puzzles are good and requires you to think.

Tiny Friends :) by daflamingpotato 2024-10-07T18:26:19Z

Interesting idea and puzzles, reminds of some retro or flash games, especially with that art style. Need some time to reread controls. Always wanted to toss some friends around.

LD57 — Depths

Revenge of the Slimomancer by Josh Riley 2025-04-16T17:44:50Z

Cute little game, I beat it on second try, repro rate is really helps, so I can rush to turrets or run ignoring mines. I think it could be great if slimes also grow and may be form big slime, wink wink

#Deep by HitchH1k3r 2025-04-13T19:33:44Z

Very cool take on roguelike (especially with symbols reference!) There is variety of items, but it's not clear what how to use for example wand. And it's not clear which items disappear when descending to next level (sometimes I keep hammer and sometimes not?). It's interesting that you can kite zombies due to their signalling before attack. Bumping into stone walls was hurting, combined with fact they're not very discerning from floor gray. Overall, I very liked art and music, and will definitely try again to go deeper, now i'm around 19k.

Frames by HolyBlackCat 2025-04-17T01:56:08Z

very innovative game, beautiful art. Mechanics weren't very intuitive for me and I spent half hour on last level (at first I was thinking they need to be all at center). But then I managed to build escape route and use angle. Curious if there is other solution for that puzzle. Nice entry! P.s. Probably SDL3 ready for emscripten export, that would add visibility for this great game!

Deeply Missing by JackLeHamster 2025-04-13T16:46:18Z

I liked art design and colors, however game was somewhat sluggish and slow to response, so I couldn't made after orange elevator (between first and second man in helmet), sorry. Good luck!

Abyss Base Crush by ted 2025-04-16T20:29:59Z

Nice little defense game, where you mostly choosing upgrades and watch outcomes. I think best result are when you first go for damage and gun count upgrades, then going with Piercing and RoF. Nice touch with bursting air bubbles and splats from creatures!

LD57-Depths by notime4games 2025-04-17T01:04:37Z

Nice visuals and idea, good luck!

Abgrund by Ace17 2025-04-13T22:44:01Z

Atmospheric looking and sounding game! Really impressed with size of levels. Cudos for making it in c++. I accidentally closed browser tab and it seems that save isn't persistent, but oh well.

Aerofish Project by almost 2025-04-24T21:46:52Z

Very solid and beatifully looking game. Took me several attempts, was losing at 2nd checkpoint to angler. But then managed to build right, place turrets, hatch birds. I agree that last part could be too easy, possibly add some pressure, may be attack upper part or send waves from bottom, or add some upkeep. May be I encountered a glitch, I was unable to build research lab when skipping tutorial, and I think at one game core was attacked immediately by 3 enemies at start of game. Another idea, may be add research of tree regenerating. Overall pretty original idea and implementation.

screen.png

At last jam day, try to play and rate other's games, so you'd get more visibility and votes.

Doomscrolling by iovorobiev 2025-04-07T13:50:51Z

From what I see nice sprites, but no game, may be you forgot to press Publish.

Sinking Ship by Jajo 2025-04-13T19:03:03Z

Cool puzzle&action game. Nice fading effect, but I would like to see concrete number of moves left. Little unfortunate that if hit by blade it's basically over without chance to recover. Overall nice entry, good luck!

Into the depth by squirrelsoft 2025-04-25T18:53:25Z

Very solid entry, with unique ideas, and nice visual design, controls are hard to grasp, but worth playing, good luck!

Cast Iron Hammer Golf by HacksawUnit 2025-04-13T20:42:19Z

Very nice game with great art and attractive gameplay combination of two (for me it remidns of dr.mario + worms/scorched earth). At first I was struggling with controls, but then got into the rhythm of it and managed to get to 8th level.

The matching deep by Aterlamia 2025-04-13T15:43:29Z

Nice compo entry. Handy intro with tutorial, and graph of levels. match.png What I would suggest is 1) separate states of game, so worldmap not scroll while at tutorial, and dont allow gameplay during enemy turn. Also hp of big monster showed 10 (carriover from goblin) and switched to 40 after first damage 2) work with tilemap and not separate objects. At some points I was able to drag several pieces, place them over and out of playfield etc. Nice touch with Hades-like choice of 3 cards. Extra turn and armor very useful. I see that you planned for more items, now its somewhat difficult because ran out of swords on playfield fast. Keep up good work!

Godless Furnishings by Daniel Alhadeff 2025-04-13T21:51:12Z

Epic game, raising so many questions, why we live in hell, why we have urge to build tower higher than neighbours, can we escape the tube building a ladder, who makes furniture, who ate my banana.

Mind the Depth by Flightless 2025-04-13T22:20:38Z

Amusing experience. Really liked art style, those ornaments, matching music, also like level design in which you guide player so he understand direction and not lost.

Puppeteer by benskca 2025-04-13T13:07:47Z

Very original game with perspective, stylish art. I was suprised that puppet can be moved staying on dragged part. Angles of draglines sometimes not obvious and backdrop levels little bit tedious, but overall it's great game with lot of potential for new mechanics and levels.

Krabby Asscape by KaueSilva 2025-04-14T16:45:50Z

Fantastic background parallax effect/transition, great music/ambient design, very smooth controls. Difficulty rises with level progress, and some passages are really tight and requires skill. What I would like that blue streams shows direction of push more obviously.

Focus! by grid96 2025-04-14T22:04:15Z

Great Point-adventure game with unfolding story, superb graphics and depth-of-field mechanics! Liked your game. Not sure what event caused weather shift, but it helped a lot.

Depth Navigator by aa4z2 2025-04-25T19:45:47Z

Dungeon crawler by Arnaud Pare-Vogt 2025-04-24T02:44:01Z

Pretty little game with nice art! Gameplay was comfortable for me, reminded some retro zelda games. It was a bit easy when I realized I can stay out of range of enemies and they not pursuing you. Wish you good luck!

Adventures MZ-015 by MaxDrago 2025-04-25T18:25:44Z

Very pleasant entry, I have played web version but managed to re-align mouse, understandably. Graphics and level design as some 90-s 3d console game vibes. Controls were smooth, agree that some upgrades would be nice. Good luck!

Grandpet by deadroach 2025-04-25T23:38:56Z

Impressive game! Fish painting started singing was awesome! And dragging old man is hillarious. I'll need to replay standalone version, because I'm stuck in web not fitting fullsscreen, you must have a relly big monitor! Good luck

Shafted by DecadeDecaf 2025-04-07T13:45:12Z

Interesting concept. It's hard to predict coin path at first, so was some dry runs. Amusing that you can catch unused dynamite. I've got to the past to the guy but haven't managed to hit him with dynamite, so guess message is that paperwork will hurt you in the end. Probably he's punishing for dangerous job without helmets.

Dig Digger by Transkuja 2025-04-24T06:08:29Z

Very cool and polished game, original dancing digging idea with lot of potential!

May be my skills are rusty, but first impression is game too unforgiving, but may be skill can be mastered. Some tutorial would be nice, because I'm not sure what leads to fast speed change, which causes me to run into wall, lose speed and eventually lives.

Undercity by Monado 2025-04-25T22:36:22Z

Oh, I see, game of culture. Nice art, and as I understand there is plot. Well, gameplay have some issues, but it's understandable for such short deadline. Good luck!

Yet Another Game About Digging A Hole by AploveStudio 2025-04-25T22:22:42Z

Depth of Mind by Dandala88 2025-04-13T16:59:13Z

DeepDive Quest (18+) by Ray Himmel 2025-04-13T16:38:55Z

Submarine Waffles by Eugenik 2025-04-14T21:47:29Z

Ha, very fun physics based game, and even with soft waffle physics! I was enjoying it despite my accuracy was low. Unfortunately game crashes for me after I finish order. I didn't found logs, only crashdump.

@anonyphant hey I have 30 minutes this evening, you can link your game so I would play and rate! And no, every rating is helpful especially while they're below 20!

Very dynamic and original little game! It took me ten tries to beat it, after I mastered controls and realized I move too slow and need to keep tentacles present under 3. Music little annoying but that adds to ctulchian pressure, good job!

Depth Divers by Paroxysmal 2025-04-13T19:12:13Z

Cute little take on evade type game. Recognized your style from W.A.S.P which was made in Godot iirc, that would be really good if you'd manage to add upgrades like in that game. I agree that difficulty eats up you quickly with no way to predict or find clear path. Good luck! screen.png

Nice short metroidvania entry, with different mechanics, and enemies to avoid or shoot, good luck.

Help! I'm Trapped on The Torment Trapeze. by Yossarian 2025-04-07T14:36:14Z

Very addictive and interesting game. Definitely will try to beat it later. Chaining bodies is... something. Definitely need strategy. Currently I've got minimap, star and gravity.

Gemsweeper by Defrag 2025-04-14T17:12:33Z

Very polished game with clever take on nonogram genre. The only thing I would like to see what exactly collapsed in the end, because I got feeling that it sometimes collapse when I leaving level. (hmm, actually now I think it's not leaving, but entering new level, digging first block immediately collapse - but you don't have a chance to know what is it. May be preview next row of next level) Also, great idea with instructions scroll above level, but I'm not sure it's possible to leave tutorial without restarting, but that's not scary in roguelike where you expected to do that much, eheh. Maybe, nice addition would be rolling dice and showing what exactly block durability or spent gold nuggets was, and to show what looted from chest. But that's for full game if you gonna release it. Good luck!

Pandora's Box by Dovodx 2025-04-24T06:36:12Z

Very solid shootem-up/bullet hell game, I had lot of fun completing it! Various enemies with different weapons, and great idea of random ulitmate and there are lots of them, wondering which will roll up next! Laughed when they were sucked by fan for example. Dvd logo is handy, yeah. In the end I died while making screenshot, but anyway won because flamethrower was going on! Okay theme may be little stretch but what a great game.

I recommend you to make HTML export as soon as possible, it should be easy with Godot, ask me if you need some guidance, that way you'd get more votes in 2 days remaining, and good luck!

Into Enemy Depths by Asieke 2025-04-13T17:49:16Z

screen.png Nice to see tactical game in Godot! I've beaten game twice, after getting using to controls. At first run my healer was hit often, but it seems it doesn't matter much while you can block passage and focus first strike. Archer is hard to position to aim, it isn't obvious will shoot or not, but runs to that place, sometimes too deep into enemy, also once ended up in same square as my knight. Keep up good work!

Into Enemy Depths by Asieke 2025-04-14T16:17:57Z

screen.png Also I think game freezes for a while in this position doing some calculations (when I drag archer over enemy healer and its path goes through square with my knight)

Doom Scroll Hell by XOREAXEAX 2025-04-24T05:52:28Z

GGRREEDD by Arsvarg 2025-04-16T18:29:08Z

Great simple game, it's amazing how our games kinda alike, but totally different directions. I like that you can really feel greed, to trying shave every second to pay less for elevator. And that tip about finishing early is really important. Great art of diving device, might be really tight inside!

@d-omino Thanks!

DorfSlinger by gdman 2025-04-13T15:46:14Z

@sam-minh @bridgeonastick thanks for playing! Indeed beginning is kinda slow and limited and also depends on starting generation, I should improve that.

@thoastbot twice congratulations! I realized very late that there is no limit for that.

Falling - a rhythm platformer, track #0: your sorrow is a fiery deluge by Xlores Liang 2025-04-13T19:39:21Z

I've came for anime girl, I've stayed for music. As for a game, I think it wasn't working, some blocks just disapper as game start and it feels like slime falling down in empty space. Wish you good luck!

2D INFINITE MINE by Cafe Spectrum Studio 2025-04-16T20:42:31Z

Solid entry, with nice art and enjoyable game pace. I was unlucky and world stopped generating coal so I run out of it lol, so not absolutely infinite. Good luck!

Fossil Finder by kidbean 2025-04-13T21:00:52Z

Okay this is funny game. From what I understand it's something like that - you gather fossils (have space for 3), then identify them at scientist to the right, then you can either turn them to museum to the right for research levels (idk what gives - probably upgrades fossil value), or sell them for gold to the rich man, then you can upgrade storage and your drill to cut stone. Sound effects are gold, indeed. Suggesting exporting your game to HTML5 so more people can play.

The Guildmaster by Sylvic 2025-04-25T22:56:16Z

Song of the Depths feat. Shian by rubatotree 2025-04-13T23:07:38Z

Very pleasant atmospheric art and music. Cool concept of runes activated by flocks. But I think rotation speed little slow and collisions into walls greatly slows down, that's the reason why level with closing door is so hard. It's becames more like F1 game experience :) Keep up great work.

Depths Sickness by Nilan 2025-04-13T20:19:23Z

Very cool idea how to keep depths (even two of them) and also with having more degrees of view! I rushed a bit too much and carried dead body, but guess just need some more practice to beat game.

Nested by Jack728 2025-04-13T17:14:08Z

Fun concept (it's curious that my game is close concept but underground!)

Глубокая жизненная игра, я смог продержаться только несколько секунд, когда напиток начинает колбасить, а траву трогать мне негде. Хорошо раскрыта ТЕМА МЕМОВ. Почему-то игра заработала только в хроме на итче.

The Changes We Make by aaronjnc 2025-04-25T23:05:43Z

This is very creative take on theme, but I agree it's difficult to figure out what's going on. I got to that thing in last layer near column, but couldn't pick up, but somehow teleported to the boat and picked it and now jumping around, lol. Lots of fun. Good luck!

Core Breach by joniv 2025-04-14T21:12:56Z

Great idea for a theme with some retro-Vectrex style. And pretty hard as those games were, too!

Deep Protocol by elykx 2025-04-17T00:52:41Z

I just beat the game, it's pretty neat, tactics reminds playing MtG with death deck. Because you will need to build up energy, and for that you need to tank damage through several turns. Beautiful art! My only complaint is too long wait every turn to logs type out, and some mouse glitches (card can stuck if you drag it early).

screen.png

So, little tutorial for those who interested @alaah @jovialknoll @nicekot @follusior @d-omino @funbanan

Player have Connection (hit points), CPU (energy), and cards. Enemy has Progress (total level HP), and various antivirus cards. To play your card has cost in Energy (orange circle). You can play 1 card in turn.

If it's "defence" (pink square) it heals your Connection, allowing to live longer. If your connection is 0, you lost (can replay level)

"Damage" (blue triangle) attacks enemy card's "Health" (blue rectangle), if enemy card has "Defense" (pink square) damage will be reduced (like, 3-1=2). It will be destroyed if 0 hp.

"Progress" deals damage directly to "Progress". When progress is full, you win that level. Actually every card played deals at least 1 progress.

After you played card, enemy cards will attack your "Connection" each with their damage. So it's wise to destroy high attackers (blue triangle = 2) first. Also there is tactic to don't kill last enemy and give yourself time for healing, while he dealing just 1 damage.

Instead of turn, you may Skip - that will regenerate +1 "CPU" (energy). You can draw a card for -1 energy. If your hand is empty, you will draw some cards (depending on level).

Descent by Subsolar 2025-04-07T13:24:06Z

Nice gameplay wwith great production quality. Pleasant pacing, I have finished to the end, with use of checkpoints of course. Clean design where level is easy to read. Controls requires time to master, but there is plenty of space to avoid obstacles. Nice patterns of boss attacks.

Underwater by DragonMain 2025-04-13T19:17:34Z

Nice game, instructions not very clear, so I guess you pick red eggs and shoot anglerfish (which is hard to aim I'd admit), but by the time ship lose ability to move and it looks like softlock, also I don't see radar as at your screenshot, may be I didn't unlocked it.

The depths of a well by Palerus7 2025-04-16T22:56:44Z

Congrats on making such game! I guess it could be called zelda-like, you thrust weapon to the side you walking. It is very difficult even on easy (and on impossible, it's basically 1-hit lose). It would be cool if there is way to heal in game (or I missed it). On some level enemy ran through the wall and I followed him into darkness (where weapon lies outside).

In Solar system depths by gbegreg 2025-04-15T21:38:06Z

This is very cool idea for a game! Reminds me old DOS game Netwars.

At first I was frustrated with controls, but then my retro-airsim experience kicked in. I set comfortable 15 speed and aimed with careful mouse movement.

Then, I don't know, either I picked some power up, or game glitched after several restarts, but my shield was invincible, and I was able to beat game. Sorry if that's cheating, but it was still hard! But not impossible-hard as if I'd need to evade enemy fire. (I know only about purple box giving ammo, and that's good there are plenty of them, I waste too many missing targets) space.gif

Congrats on writing all from scratch and in Lazarus! Now if I may advice. There is always question what to reuse. Actually LD rules don't forbit reusing simple code like controllers.

Regarding AZERTY. It seems Lazarus has limitation and don't support detecting layout (Or something like MapVirtualKey into physical). May be you could add selection like in old games, where player chooses between QWERTY/AZERTY/QWERTZ.

Another thing is to add some smoothing to mouse. I forget about this myself everytime. But adding smoothing is usually couple lines of code, either lerp or ease-in ease-out or interpolation of some kind.

What would be great addition to game is some kind of radar or arrows pointing off screen.

Good luck! I've enjoyed your game!

DungeonDescent by thisyc 2025-04-13T23:52:55Z

Very enjoyable game, feeling that it can be played endlessly.

DungeonDescent by thisyc 2025-04-14T14:51:00Z

I have played longer for extended feedback. On hardest difficulty. From what I see, if you survive first 4-5 rounds (due to luck when there be enough connections between skulls and swords) game is pretty easy. Basically you can take mostly +maxhp upgrades which conveniently heals you too, and when it's safe (0-1 skulls on board) take something else. Also it's pretty easy to keep damage bonuses so you need only 1-2 sword to kill any skull even when they go into 7+ power.

On a side note, that would be good to show dynamically how much damage you gonna deal, because it's not obvious to know if you wasting swords or underdamaging.

There is very potent combo World + item that has chance to reset abilities cooldown (Crystal ball). Probably it should be one chance per turn, not per kill, because now its allow spam World every turn. Also powerful combined with item adding +maxhp per kill (Berserker chain). Basically making you unstoppable (and UI doesn't expect you can go over 999/999 hp)

There is slight issue with popups. All 3 windows can pop together (lvlup upgrade, chest item, shop 4 items), so sometimes I accidentally buy full-heal because it appears as I was clicking something else. And descriptions somewhat overlaps (yeah my game has same problem, sigh). Also, item inventory doesn't expect to show more than 5x5 items (and world+crystall fills that by 60 turn). Edit: and I think if Gold progress (not keys) filled more than 1 bar, first shop choices lost and overwritten by second. And what happens if you click World before collected all rewards? Edit: after stacking many Gold rings, shop popup constantly reopens because you're overwhelmed by massive gold income. So you can't reach playfield, and World skill is your main option. Also I've noticed picking Gold ring increases your gold score immediately, not for future collecting.

Maybe I missed somewhere, but I didn't see description of what Magic potion do. (I've checked now, but it could be difficult to discover)

I know cancellation of move is hard in this type of game. On PC you can cancel with right-click, but on touch that's not very feasible. Something like, moving finger out of playfield, or moving two tiles along illegal combination, could cancel path (actually better not cancel, but greyout, to give chance for player to restore it moving finger back).

P.S. Oh and it would be great for some way to reset or swap skills on long run.

output.gif

Sorry for lenghtly rant, I wish you good luck and to release this great game! It can be expanded with lots of ideas, like locked tiles on field, various enemies, etc etc.

Stars In The Deep by angry_fridge 2025-04-24T13:05:00Z

Excellent game, nice graphics/color design and I really liked pace and integrity mechanics. At first I thought it's endless runner, and was gladly surprised. Probably would change colors of mines - those gray doesn't look scary, and on contrary others not very fatal. On a side note, orange don't spawn every time, not sure if that's some glitch, so may be I completed game easier than intended. scr.png Great idea with some potential, like make several levels each need to go deeper, or make them procedural, etc. Good luck.

Stars In The Deep by angry_fridge 2025-04-25T17:56:26Z

@angry-fridge Ok if I may, I looked at your source, and there is condition when player can press (C) and pick treasure, before crossing trigger line (which in source needed to be crossed from below - but player is above). So eventbus in not called, event not fired and spawner timer not started. Also, I think spawners keep firing every 2 seconds afterthat, so when you see mine moving, its actually pack of mines in one place and they're keep growing, so game can slowdown eventually, probably you wanted One shot timers. Have a nice day! debug.png

Scriptorium by Halbard 2025-04-14T20:38:57Z

As I understand, Driller can destroy green walls, and Scanner can read poetry from white blocks. Unfortunatley I wasn't patient enough, because colliders are too big. Actually you can get in tight space by rotating back and forth in place and squeezing every pixel. Wish author to improve game, cudos for making game in c++.

Raid the Abyss by Static_Leap_Studios 2025-04-25T18:47:57Z

I have played&rated your game, don't have time to write long review, things I liked:

+unique art style

+moving on tiles gives some Warcraft 1 vibes

+also game itself like dark souls or diablo atmosphere

+gaining control of other people when respawn.

+overall lot of interesting things implemented: cutting stones, sparta kick to pits, blocking, boss, leveling up, procedural endless corridor

Things works not so well for me:

-collider of block is for front wall, so you cant go above it or squeeze corner;

-smoothing of camera is nice but tiresome after a while when I begin to move more aggresively and faster, because it aligns to tiles

-idea of block is cool, but its positioned on side of body and turning just before block is very hard

-kick is too instantaneous, giving too small time to react, looking almost like teleporting.

-leveling up feels like you become unstoppable at some point (on other hand, boss could kill you too easily and you now weak again)

-sometimes its difficult to discern between ally and enemy, particular because of light - for example sometimes soldier is golden, but when he raises hand he got shadow (?) and looks almost like orc.

P.S. minor undestandable jam things: at some point I just rushed forward, and sprites were visible oustide of play field in the void, also I think cutting 3 stones in front is too powerful for sword.

(At this point you may wonder if that's my short review what long is...)

Ideas I propose:

+dash action, also for enemies, for more tactical surrounding and backstabs

+some ally teamwork, may be action to call for help, for example place banner

+objects or points of interest, like chests, idols, some unique rooms, to do something else from slashing

Keep up good work! Good luck figuring how to transform this idea to full game, may be some dancing-rythm mechanics

screen.png

p.s. after watching someone stream, I realized I missed descending on next layer and played only 1st.

Awesome game! Finally beat it after tens of tries. Firstly I was trying to dig at random but then realized how you're hinting direction. I had hard times tossing ropes upward, so had to gather more resources. Meanwhile discovered way to dig stairs like in minecraft, even upwards: dig.png All in all, nice Godot game - beautiful pixel art, atmospheric kinda-volume sound, resources to gather, enemies to fight, caves to explore. I like how games about digging can took so different directions. Thumbs up!

Cool game, with nostalgia feelings, it reminds some flash games of 2000s where you change color to pass obstacles. Very fitting music and visuals!

Phantom Hunt by Jesús González 2026-04-22T14:26:27Z

Interesting take on the theme, where you need to track ghost positions using some laser beams. Ideally, first you recon level, you can pick up those detectors and place them, then return for a gun. However, with some patience, you can predict ghost positions and just fire them blindly. There are some unexpected rules in this game, for example that ghost turns into impassable block. But those are just rules of game after all! Keep up good work!

Ludum Dare 59 - Cell The Signal by baknik 2026-04-22T17:58:47Z

Nice looking town! Interesting idea, with lot of potential. For example, there could be various events, like hardware needing repair or new houses built, also there could be some pr campaigns you can manage, that way time can be filled with mini activities.

Aurora 4: Prelude by ghost-in-the-toast 2026-04-23T19:18:14Z

Nice shoot-em-up game! Fantastic intro with demoscene-like effects, and banger music. Game itself has nice pixel art. Gameplay is challenging hard, but I see imprevements and by 10th try I've reached blue boss, but not defeated him yet. There are various gun upgrades, I liked that brrr brrr one the most. My humble suggestions - reduce player ship or it's collider. Good luck with your game!

Great idea, and beautiful art! As of synth, it's not very easy to make Godot into realtime sound, but it could be done with some trickery, may be in c++. As for keys bindings, there is option to map them as "Physical keys". Good luck, there is a ton of potential!

DOT-DASH-Protocol by nullval 2026-04-21T20:33:54Z

SETI@dream by rubatotree 2026-04-22T20:33:18Z

Okay, now I've finished it. Great design, beautiful music, smooth controls, nice visuals and particles, great storytelling reminding of voices of distant stars, nice effect of muting bg music when trying... Did not disappointed. Ah, and clever usage of 5/4 and 7/4, hehe. Difficulty is little challenging, but just OK to beat from several tries.

Mama Duck Hero by runningopenloop 2026-04-23T14:32:07Z

Holy duck, game is so cute, with those art and voiceover, but then comes bloody cat! It is pretty challenging to keep your flock healthy, but I managed to keep 3-4 of growups. Really nice idea for big game. You can add more signals for example to scare, spread out etc, and add some poishing, if I could, recommend addon like VCamera, and good luck for sail toward steam! sc03.png

Black Forest by zbrogdom 2026-04-21T21:58:18Z

Very cool idea, somewhat reminds of Master of Orion game. There is potential, which you can explore. Good luck!

Lost & Found by Scaredy Cat 2026-04-24T21:56:01Z

Very pleasant game, with stylish art and dramatic music, and great locations and writeups. Bernie was not lucky, I saved him only from 10th try! But hopefully he was enjoying his coctail.

Detect Metal by Chomby 2026-04-21T21:36:01Z

Nice idea, I had died once before I realised mechanics, clever idea to find metals using signal strength, while shooting down pesky flies of doom. Good luck!

Bimbot`s Signal by Mblw 2026-04-22T19:54:51Z

MORSPELL by arieare 2026-04-23T20:16:48Z

Beautiful art and menus. For gameplay, I realized how to do first part, place chain of crystals in range of 3 beginning from silver tower at the left, but second part, sending morse signal, yet have to figure out, how to do that in time. Nice entry!

Hydroacoustic by FakeTrap 2026-04-22T15:14:48Z

Nice take on theme, game is definitely challenging but worth trying. You need to strategically use sonar to explore shore obstacle, but turn it off to hide from enemies. I liked visual style, and fonts! Good luck.

Laser Beat by Gotlib 2026-04-24T20:27:24Z

Neat little game. Very pleasant art style and engaging music. I spent some time at first, but then realized that I need to sync not to bg music, but for blue-button tune, and from that it went like a breeze. Looks like it has lot of potential, with additional blocks and more levels! Good luck.

Chromawalk by Zyertdox 2026-04-23T17:36:07Z

Nice simple puzzle game, with pleasant art. I agree to some extent that levels can be bruteforced - but actually, they could be logically analyzed, like, if square road runs diagonally to the edge, this direction must be excluded for this color, etc.

Schick by Ionax 2026-04-21T21:07:02Z

Very nice game, at first it plays like physics puzzle platformer, but by level 6 signals really starting to emit (what a pun!) Wow, by level 8 you break quantum fourth wall! Level 12 took a while, until I realised there is 2nd coin! Would be helpful if door changes color when it's still locked. Overall, nice Godots02.png game!

Mixed Signals (using DOD) by GideonGriebenow 2026-04-22T18:09:49Z

Interesting concept, with clean graphics. I would say it has potential not in arcade direction, but in some kind of automation game, where you could set some rotation rules or patterns. Good luck.

Criminal Does Not Dream of Wizard Boy Policeman by havearollonthefloor 2026-04-23T15:58:18Z

з.ы. название шикарно

I'm getting mixed signals about this...

Inside a Sun by bonedaddy 2026-04-22T15:03:50Z

At start, I wasn't expecting game with such deep plot! Well done, nice usage of CSG. After me beaming it, sun was resembling more of swiss cheese. Good luck!
