LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Conduit by reheated 2021-04-26T16:12:50Z

A solid and well polished entry although I was confused at some parts.

The Deepest Threat by Goutye 2021-04-26T15:30:35Z

So simple and yet my favourite so far. Easy to play, great art and sound.

TRENCH by dirkinz 2021-04-26T15:57:23Z

These were some great puzzles which is not something that is easy to create so great job with this.

Brickwalled by exilegl 2021-04-26T21:06:11Z

Unusual but I liked it. I was confused at first but that's my fault for not reading the description.

Treehouse Party by stuffedgravy 2021-04-26T20:46:43Z

I really wanted to enjoy this because it is well finished off but I found it frustrating to play. I may just be bad but it felt like some of the gaps to jump were annoyingly difficult as opposed to enjoyably difficult, if that makes sense? That being said, fantastic art.

Under The End by chris-delta 2021-04-26T14:41:34Z

This is really great work for such a short time, good amount of content.

TREE by Marcionix 2021-04-26T15:22:21Z

Awesome pixel art and the mechanics are interesting. Would definitely make for a cool mobile game.

Le bateau ivre by thebmxeur 2021-04-26T12:00:17Z

I had no idea what I was supposed to do, I clicked the cup and the game crashed and wouldn't launch again. I'd recommend some more description for how to play. That being said you've made it in C and other people seem to have been able to play, making something in C from scratch is no small feat so well done.

Le bateau ivre by thebmxeur 2021-04-26T14:46:45Z

@thebmxeur I managed to play it again and it is pretty cool. Interesting little story that leaves you with a bunch of questions. Nice work. Also the failure to relaunch appears to have been on my end as you speculated.

w o r m by neverautomatic 2021-05-02T15:33:28Z

This may have been pretty simple but I really enjoyed this, impressed with the scaling mechanics and deformation too.

The Meaning of Life Is by AfroAnt 2021-04-26T16:54:32Z

Love this original idea. Great concept. Really liked the sound too.

World in Peril by Havok06 2021-04-29T19:40:07Z

I really enjoyed this and the pacing at which the cards change. Really solid game.

Down to Goblin Town by panurge 2021-04-28T18:23:25Z

5 stars for mood for me. This made me smile!

Deeper Into Technical Problems by thesambassador 2021-04-26T15:54:07Z

Simple but fun. I did find it a little difficult but that may just be that I suck.

Punch my Dig! by nervous-composers 2021-04-26T15:34:38Z

Good sound design on this. Very simple but well delivered. Got a little tedious with how hard some of the lower tiles are to break. An upgrade system would definitely improve that.

Puzzle blast by stmatn 2021-04-26T15:17:47Z

Cool puzzle game, took me a little while to figure out what those on the right represent but solid work.

Deep Fall by ben657 2021-04-26T11:55:08Z

Fun little dropper game. Nice work. Package it up for mobile and sell it to Zynga for 50 million.

Snake in a well by esenti 2021-04-26T13:45:05Z

Wasn't able to play unfortunately, loading stalls at the end. Might wanna take a look to fix it.

DD-7 - Underwater Exploration by James Gillespie 2021-04-26T11:49:17Z

Love it. Really solid work bud, gives a great atmosphere. Only thing I noticed was the collision bounding seems to either be too big or not rotate with the player.

DD-7 - Underwater Exploration by James Gillespie 2021-04-26T13:28:12Z

@james-gillespie It seemed that when I was rotated the round, pink obstacles would still make contact with the ship even when it appeared to be a reasonable distance away.

Tiefenmesser by axelrinaldo 2021-04-26T22:04:50Z

I really enjoyed this, feels quite solid. It did take me a sec to realise I was the tiny sub and not the boat.

My Little Tree by chuckeles 2021-04-26T13:07:45Z

Really impressed by this, unique concept and really well implemented. Great job!

Paleontologist with bombs by cjgammon 2021-04-26T13:43:12Z

Very simple but completely solid end result. That's always important.

Lost Core of the Underworld by wisedawn 2021-04-26T15:01:06Z

One of the better text adventures and you've clearly put the effort in.

Fishing the Depths by aplite 2021-04-26T11:33:24Z

Nice entry, I love a good fishing game. It would probably benefit from separating the shop from each catch, it becomes kinda annoying when it pops up even when you can't afford anything. Nice work though.

Deep Dive by Joshuc 2021-04-26T13:48:09Z

Seems quite polished. Solid work for a short time. I would have liked the bombs to go in the direction of the mouse rather than the player facing though.

Time to Sleep by Treeboater 2021-04-26T15:48:09Z

Might not be much of a game but damn there is something cool about this entry. Really great work on the room and the walls pulling away.

Ocean Cleanup by Weirdybeardyman 2021-04-26T13:39:35Z

Great game, nice and simple but relaxing to play. I did find the controls somewhat unnatural though.

The NYPD Shaman by WongKongPhooey 2021-04-26T21:40:36Z

I loved this, completely unique.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T13:52:41Z

@madelfino Thanks for highlighting it, I believe I know the cause. I found an issue last minute before submission and put in a quick work around by manually placing a dummy object but the work around will only work on relaunch rather than restart. An oversight on my part. Glad you enjoyed it though, if I hadn't wasted 12 hours messing with the auto generation I had a lot more ideas to implement. Maybe in the future.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T13:53:29Z

@machrom Yeah, that was something I was going to go back to but ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T14:01:36Z

@twowolf Does this occur randomly after restart or immediately?

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T14:25:49Z

@twowolf Thanks, I believe it is fixed now. Thanks for the help.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T16:35:56Z

@afroant I'm guessing you had quite a few ants :') I originally started out trying to make nice clean optimised path finding and generating... Then I looked at the clock and next thing you know every single tile and is being checked every frame.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T18:18:22Z

@chris-delta Thanks for the awesome detailed feedback. You're absolutely spot on. I was way too ambitious with my original idea and ended up wasting tons of time with path finding and enemy tunnel generation. I also realised the soft-lock issue right before submission but was so sick of staring at my disgusting code I couldn't face going back in.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T20:14:18Z

@ancooper Strange, I'd not encountered that, it could be that they are trying to focus a single enemy soldier that isn't accessible or visible as the graphics do all kinda blend together unfortunately. For the most part it's just a case of building a tunnel to the enemy queen and they should attack eventually.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-26T20:14:40Z

@slimabob Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-27T16:34:38Z

@lone-wolf thanks for playing! The FPS drops really bad eventually, due to the short time the pathfinding and auto generation had to be hacked together in the most inefficient way imaginable.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-27T18:57:15Z

@retrome yeah, sorry about that, when you run out of materials for barracks it defaulted to the blueprint for some reason. It was a little bit of an oversight honestly, i only threw in the building last minute.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-04-28T14:10:23Z

@jimbly Thanks for the feedback bud, I am planning to start work on a post compo version built from the ground up with the intention of supporting multiplayer, so everyone's feedback helps.

Ants Are Awesome by IndigoWolf 2021-05-02T15:22:32Z

@bereg Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. I've already started on rebuilding it from the ground up with the intention of hopefully bringing a fully fleshed out end product to life.

The MindDiver by Pierre.F 2021-04-26T15:36:44Z

The link says the game is unavailable currently? Not sure if you're aware.

Deeper In The Night by Lorwon 2021-04-26T21:31:37Z

Anyone using low level programming for LD48 deserves a pat on the back. Great work on this.

Donut Chat by Colletto Gregory 2021-04-28T14:15:01Z

I don't know if I was reaching the end of certain dialogue lines or the game experiencing a bug but several options seemed not to progress any further.

Deeper deep ocean by Aret24 2021-05-02T15:25:55Z

Super simple but still pretty solid, although the giant crab pinned me in a corner and I couldn't do anything about it.

Operation: Sub-Deep by BatJak03 2021-04-26T20:20:34Z

This is absolutely one of the most solid games I've played yet. You need to get rating some games so more people see yours because it deserves to be seen.

Asteroid Breaker by GibsS 2021-04-26T20:39:26Z

This was the most solid game I've played so far. One of my favourites and played the longest. Just simply all round really good job on this. Huge potential as a mobile game.

Deeper Into The Boundless Gloom by AdmiralSpaceKraken 2021-04-26T16:16:31Z

I had a surprising amount of fun playing this.

Life path of geometric shape by upisfree-2 2021-04-26T20:51:03Z

I actually quite enjoyed this despite the simplicity.

Substate by beats 2021-04-26T15:11:07Z

Fun take on the theme with the mechanics. Would have liked to play a few more levels with different variable factors but still a really cool little concept.

Depth Charger by SneakyLemon 2021-04-26T20:59:13Z

The gameplay for this is good, would definitely benefited from a restart option.

Just Dig by TwoWolf 2021-04-26T16:20:25Z

I love the art for this. Mechanics felt comfortable and well made.

Backwards Quest by Lone_Wolf 2021-04-26T14:36:05Z

I really struggled with the first boss, having a health pool rather than a single hit might have been an improvement.

Freefall by timujin 2021-04-26T14:50:38Z

Very simple but still fun. The level generation was good and after the hassle with my entry I definitely have a new respect for it. Only annoyance was spikes spawning directly where I had to fall down without being able to see them.

Diary of Sedah by azagaya 2021-04-26T14:31:01Z

Really great graphics, some solid pixel art going on here. Nice entry.

Cthulhu's Deep Dream by retrome 2021-04-26T16:28:52Z

This is a really good entry all round. Simple but nice graphics and sound. You need to get rating some games so more people see this.

Tetra Rogue by Ryan Harriman 2021-04-26T16:08:21Z

Same for me as others have said the link appears to be incorrect.

Bad Faith by Craig Cordeiro 2021-04-26T14:27:34Z

Always nice to see story driven games in LD48. Nice work.

Who Killed Tim by fullmetal_automaton 2021-04-26T21:01:40Z

Adding yourselves was a nice little touch.

A Well-built Castle by JaTDev 2021-04-26T13:58:48Z

Very simple but solid implementation. I did find it a little slow going but I really love these clicker type games and this was well made.

Diggy Diggy Mole by AWildEkans 2021-04-26T16:48:06Z

This is really well made but I definitely think it was a little too difficult. The bouncing from the rocks is basically a death sentence.

Lidenbrock by Notinatal 2021-04-26T21:16:25Z

This was great. Really enjoyed this and it has great replay ability. A little graphic to show the order of tools while playing would be a huge improvement. Get this on mobile app stores ASAP.

Toxicity Run by StefGrizzly 2021-04-26T14:55:30Z

Really great graphics. I liked the pipe content and running against a clock. Nice job.

DEEPORB by Taft Punk 2021-04-26T15:07:28Z

Really impressed with your take on the theme and the mechanic. You could definitely flesh this out more into a full game in the future. I would recommend dialling down the volume a little as the mute button doesn't work. Great work on this though.

Altum by Choppers 2021-04-26T13:35:18Z

That blackhole graphic is awesome. Nice work on the game in general.

The Deepest Space by Robotex 2021-04-26T13:33:14Z

Really tough game but I loved trying to slingshot myself around the sun.

Goblin Philosopher by Jibberwocky 2021-04-26T14:21:02Z

You get one of my highest ratings so far, I really liked your take on the theme. While the game is very simple you have absolutely polished the aspects that you have included and worked to a good scope. Really great job.

Mayan Dive by Banres 2021-04-26T14:25:17Z

Good entry. I did find some of the controls a little uncomfortable however and a little confusing where I should be going.

Asteroid Mining Operations by glcoder 2021-05-02T15:27:45Z

Nice work with this. I did find it to be pretty random as to how to play and mine though.

Mystical Island by azakharov 2021-04-26T16:03:01Z

I really enjoyed this, some nice graphics and a cool take on the theme that gives way to unique gameplay. Well done.

Granny Goes Deep by universeflow 2021-04-26T21:21:59Z

Really loved the pixel art, lighting, sound and voiceover. All round a really nice game.

Hook, Mines & Sinker! by cjol 2021-04-26T21:09:38Z

I really enjoyed this although the claw mechanic felt kind of strange.

Forest of Memories by MidwestGames 2021-04-26T16:44:18Z

The link was broken unfortunately.

DrillDrill: The Quest for Diamonds by Hoeleboele 2021-04-26T15:51:12Z

I really enjoyed this entry, one of my favourite so far. Nice BGM and really cool pixel art.

Glow of the abyss by mrBell270 2021-04-26T15:42:31Z

Simple but I really liked it. Would definitely benefit from being a bit faster paced.

BlipSleep by Yeil 2021-04-26T14:33:05Z

Lovely smooth controls, I liked the art style and it is actually pretty fun. Good work.

Knee Deep in Magma by Venezia 2021-04-26T15:13:34Z

Very simple but really solid. The jumping felt comfortable and the difficulty was decently balanced.

Den Sweet Den... by Dannan2 2021-04-26T20:56:00Z

Congrats on your first game jam! There was a ton of 'game' here but it is a finished product. It has a start and a goal, and that is a great first step. Take this as a learning experience and work on your skills and you'll be able to produce much bigger things in the future. Best of luck!

The Rabbit Hole Herald by Sam_ONella 2021-04-26T20:40:44Z

Your link does not appear to work. #404

Robo-Driller by Famicon80 2021-04-26T13:26:32Z

Fun and polished game. Nice work.

SideFHax by Sakii 2021-04-26T20:31:09Z

I like the unique concept you have going here.

LD49 — Unstable

Meltdown by Juhani Koskinen 2021-10-03T23:17:51Z

I really liked this, I just wish it had numpad controls. Would have felt a lot more natural.

free fall by ruthiepee 2021-10-11T18:56:24Z

Super unique concept, really liked it, also very rare to see Haxe used, I've not seen that in years so thanks for reminding me it even exists!

CryptoCoaster by the.jahn 2021-10-03T23:23:19Z

First game I've rated and I loved it.

Horse with a Human Mask on A Tightrope by jefvel 2021-10-03T23:36:23Z

This felt really quite polished. Fun, super challenging, funny take on the theme. Solid all round! Should do well.

Unstable Landing by schwede 2021-10-03T23:14:26Z

I found the controls a little backwards but was still a nice take on the theme. 81% fuel record!

Monday by gimbalock 2021-10-07T19:46:31Z

I really enjoyed this, incredibly simple but genuinely addictive

Portals From Fire by Moandor 2021-10-05T15:17:29Z

Overall a super great entry, really enjoyed it!

Unstables by joonamo 2021-10-05T18:25:35Z

This was a lot of fun, I disliked the the control layout but it wasn't a big deal. Nice work.

DOOMSDAY INSTABILITIES by Pierre.F 2021-10-05T21:59:58Z

I believe there is a problem with the way the game displays that stops players from getting past the title screen-

Sable Untangle by ixchow 2021-10-05T15:28:57Z

Could definitely be fleshed out into a mobile game, very interesting concept. Great way of teaching players too.

The Nuclear Nightmare by Betamorfosis 2021-10-05T15:43:00Z

Really liked this, would have preferred having some kind of starting launch pad

Help, I cast the wrong spell! by JUSTCAMH 2021-10-05T16:48:54Z

Probably my favourite game so far

gone. by wafflecomposite 2021-10-03T23:12:13Z

Super simple and yet really fun, this work!

Maritime for a Latte by VeniTheRich 2021-10-05T16:26:43Z

Loved this. Gave me a chuckle while trying to pour the milk

Trenchrunner by curleysam 2021-10-05T18:38:11Z

One of the best entries so far!

Rolling Home by memoryFloater 2021-10-05T16:08:35Z

Really tough but I really liked the idea controlling the whole world

The Nuclear Ball by 0X_VOID_X0 2021-10-05T17:02:49Z

Simple and well polished. Great first attempt at Jam!

Unstable Cube by Seskon 2021-10-05T15:23:20Z

Very nice looking, would have been a bit less frustrating if the aiming lined up correctly when not at a 90 degree angle

Uncertain Orbits by Malcolm 2021-10-05T15:11:14Z

I completed it! Absolutely terrible score but I enjoyed this quite a bit

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Sheep Heard by ChrisAntem 2022-04-04T20:57:16Z

This was an amazing concept. Super unique and adds a really interesting dynamic to the game. Graphics are also fantastic. Seriously great game, well done.

Poseidon's Revenge by Liam 2022-04-04T20:21:34Z

This is really quite good, one thing that really spoiled it for me though was not being able to move to the tile you click and only the one nearest it. It felt like this may be a bug?

Do It Later by BauBau 2022-04-06T16:14:49Z

Love the art and the music.

Disaster Waiting by mimusangel 2022-04-04T19:54:07Z

Highly unusual sound design choices but a really decent game. Played it for a fair while.

Slither And Fire by J0ye 2022-04-06T16:08:01Z

Unusual but I really liked the concept here. Well implemented and has potential for a more fleshed out game. Great work.

Beavers Inc. by ditam 2022-04-06T20:08:04Z

Really great level of polish on this, fun and novel concept too.

Last Bastion by sansman01 2022-04-04T22:09:28Z

Really great graphics, would have benefited from some minor balancing though. It is possible to just buy the first tower and continue to upgrade and spawn kill the enemies permanently.

Inevitabone by Leandro4002 2022-04-04T20:32:21Z

This is by far my favourite so far. Gameplay was very reminiscent of Undertale, I wonder if that was an inspiration?

Row With the Flow by VeniTheRich 2022-04-04T20:36:12Z

I really enjoyed this. Great music. Would have liked the timing to be clearer, maybe had the spacebar icon higher upon or more visible.

Stay Positive by Nick Barrash 2022-04-04T21:53:40Z

Really enjoyed this. Glad I am top of the leaderboards for now!

The Inevitable Blast! by Martin183 2022-04-04T20:48:18Z

I really liked this. Would not have had the hose change direction with the cart though, it was quite annoying for the angle to flip. Nice entry though.

Hyper Kremlin Bros. II Tournament Edition by Samps 2022-04-07T18:38:45Z

Tied for highest rated game all round for me. High level of polish, great graphics, audio and dark humour. Fantastic work, deserves to place pretty highly in a fair few categories and I think it will!

OSTRO by Totteri 2022-04-06T17:13:08Z

My highest rating so far. Can really tell the amount of effort your team has put into this. Great writing, real sense of mystery, the graphics were fantastic, felt very polished, loved that subtle hum of the monitor in the background. All around amazing entry. The team should be really proud of this.

Fountain of youth by greenphox 2022-04-06T17:38:28Z

Very solid entry, really quite liked it although the one major critique I would have is that the very minor colour contrast between floors/walls and playable area was a huge issue. Not sure if it was a conscious decision but would definitely have tried to make things clearer.

Mages and Essay Pages by Haastregt 2022-04-04T21:28:15Z

I really want to love this game, the concept is really well thought out but you're right about the RNG. I played quite a few games and it was physically impossible on the first turn. The "game" part of the the entry felt way too hard as well, but maybe I just suck. Overall this was still a really great entry, loved the card art.

Pompeii Ludum Dare 50 by Devterev 2022-04-06T17:20:08Z

Loved the artwork here.

Kinderkaos by Gravityflip 2022-04-04T22:14:51Z

The sense of utter helplessness as the toddlers slowly make their way to the poisonous mushrooms while you're trying to help another take a dump is hilarious.

LD58 — Collector

BIGDIG by Willops 2025-10-05T22:55:38Z

My favourite entry so far, no doubt will be top of my list by the end. Loved this minigame in Pokémon and love the reference here. I actually enjoyed it so much I went for the 100% on all the treasures.

Great work.

Star fleet Telescop by VikFX 2025-10-06T21:38:36Z

Can tell a lot of effort went into this, very unique take on the theme with a cool mechanic. I could see this expanded into an actual casual, chill game that I would pay money for.

Clean Line by Jesús González 2025-10-07T14:24:29Z

This felt very complete and well polished. Has a lot of potential for additional mechanics and challenges if you were to ever expand on it. Great work!

Human Coin Chicken Flower by kiv 2025-10-06T17:09:16Z

I like the concept, but wasn't too sure if I was playing correctly. Kept losing while trying to balance things.

Lunar Burden by Iluvatar 2025-10-06T16:37:57Z

Really love the art and SFX, good work on this.

Overemployed Empire by JOrbits 2025-10-06T16:58:05Z

I think this is probably my favourite entry so far. Very original, funny, well executed idea that actually made me want to play until the end. Great art and sound design too. Amazing work!

Fluster Fencing by Jajo 2025-10-06T17:16:58Z

I didn't have romance simulator on the pad this morning, but here we are. Great work, made me laugh.

Butterfly by mdotedot 2025-10-06T17:36:36Z

A simple concept and extremely bold to try and implement multiplayer into an LD game. Respect for giving it a go.

Night of the Acorn Hunt by StaticRose 2025-10-06T17:02:45Z

Blessed be the acorns.

Grand Collector by Alex Mulkerrin 2025-10-06T17:48:44Z

I love the classic movement style. While simple, the game feels very complete and polished. Well done.

Slot of Death by wolderado 2025-10-06T16:27:42Z

Enjoyed this quite a bit, good job. Felt very polished.

Soularis by 02FC 2025-10-06T21:15:49Z

This looks and feels great to play. Genuinely enjoyable and had me playing for a surprising amount of time for such a simple concept. Great work.

Collector's Curse by Memel06 2025-10-06T21:22:13Z

Simple but well made game. Felt polished, in particular that banger of a soundtrack!

I definitely misunderstood the goal originally though and collected as many items as possible XD

Key Master by ancooper 2025-10-06T17:29:14Z

This caught me off guard with its simple mechanics initially, I expected there not to be much depth, but the restrictive was of playing really forces you into a bit of a memory puzzle game. Cool entry, nice job.

Stamp Collecting on Planet Q by cassowary 2025-10-05T23:10:17Z

I predict a very high rating for your entry. Nailed every category here and the puzzles are actually a good difficulty and fun to play. Really enjoyed this, fantastic work all round.

Attic Thrifter by Sthor726 2025-10-05T22:32:36Z

Well put together entry, nice and simple but felt very complete, well executed on what you were going for. You clearly managed your time better than me XD. Really enjoyed the pixel art!

Quickollect by zubspace 2025-10-06T17:05:33Z

I wish I had more levels to collect more things! Great work with this.

Trade Up! by Pincushion 2025-10-06T16:30:59Z

Enjoyed the concept, SFX were cool but think I would have preferred without the music.

Flight Terminal Assistant by Benjamin Gare 2025-10-06T21:34:12Z

Always impressed to see someone going the extra (flight) mile and making a game using low level languages and tools. Loved the concept, great entry!

Petals by AppoxGames 2025-10-06T17:21:07Z

Cool concept and some fantastic art and sound design. Really enjoyed the Zen mode the most.

The Gem Hoarder by SinusQuell 2025-10-06T21:47:01Z

Simple but generally a good entry. Really liked the background music.

Predincament by Threeli 2025-10-06T17:24:20Z

Really loved the art and humour you put into this, overall a real 'slick' entry.

Stealth Hobo by Thoastbot 2025-10-06T17:34:24Z

Good entry, quite enjoyed it. I did struggle to understand what I was supposed to be doing though as some containers open and others don't, not sure if I missed something.

Revolution Nexus by Moonblast 2025-10-07T15:21:44Z

This will do very well, would love to see this expanded into a bigger game with multiple levels. So much potential to add even greater depth here.

Art, sound, UI, all on point. Well done to all involved in making this. I expect it to place highly.

Stamp Divers by harujam 2025-10-06T17:43:10Z

Like playing a crane machine that isn't a scam. Quite enjoyed this one, good work on it.

Collecting Dust by jacobwinters 2025-10-07T14:29:34Z

I love my dust collection. Really enjoyed this one and had some funny writing, well done.

Tax Collector by ellaris 2025-10-06T21:43:17Z

Best audio of any game, hands down. Gave me a good laugh and actually quite fun. The coins bouncing back out was a nice touch.

Fatal Morgana by amirblum 2025-10-05T23:01:38Z

The background music was extremely good, loved it.

$ECURITY CHECK by babyfoodstudios 2025-10-06T21:28:01Z

Loved the art and sound on this. Enjoyed the concept too and was well executed. Gave me a bit of 'Papers, Please' vibe.

Please don't touch my collection by zidan-banan 2025-10-05T23:31:21Z

The art is brilliant and you have put a really high level of polish on this. I found myself NEEDING to complete it after starting, some of the clues were so simple and yet it took me embarrassingly long to finish. Great work on your entry!

Hexa Fort King Collector by EmojiMaster 2025-10-05T22:26:31Z

Overall a great entry, a lot of polish for 48 hours. Really quite enjoyed this!

Did have a few issues with the UI not seeming to reflect my selections and probably being stupid but couldn't figure out how to rotate.

Down In The Dumps by Sonja Seppa 2025-10-05T22:17:59Z

The art and sound design are fantastic!

LD59 — Signal

Free wristband (lots of work) by Meta-link 2026-04-20T12:39:23Z

Trying to move through the crowds gave me a good laugh. I actually really like the concept here, could probably be expanded into something more. Great work on this.

Stars Drift And Float by praleks 2026-04-20T14:13:15Z

UI design is very clean, I like it. Was the music your own song?

Lock by mahalis 2026-04-20T12:49:55Z

A really well executed idea, I'm not one for puzzle games really, but this has some real potential as a full game in my opinion. Also, looks like you got some very nice shader work going on here, will definitely take a look at them!

Slime Signals by funisfun8 2026-04-20T12:18:09Z

I like the simplicity of the concept, but it was a real struggle to understand what I am supposed to do initially. Nice entry though, delivered a finished game on time, which is easier said than done.

Lightkeeper by iovorobiev 2026-04-20T15:56:17Z

Really enjoyed this, it isn't easy to take a minimal mechanic and add depth to it like you have here. The restrictive binary choice creates some fantastic strategy to the gameplay. Great work.

Remote Mars Raider by Mathstr0fficial 2026-04-20T14:27:21Z

Nice entry, the obstacle on the bottom section remind me of Undertale a little. Biggest improvement would be to have the Signal Sheet visible somewhere at all time. Great job though.

Licence to Fine by IndigoWolf 2026-04-20T15:58:51Z

@domenixius Yeah, I agree. I originally planned to have a much more in depth driving system where you had to interact with the environment a lot more and make it way more silly to navigate around without destroying the van, ran out of time sadly. The driving aspect ended up being a bit flat :(

Licence to Fine by IndigoWolf 2026-04-21T10:13:39Z

@william-corrin You are correct (I think lol) regarding phase. I didn't know anything about waves really before this entry and had to speed run learning the basics so probably confused some terminology.

I originally planned to have it much more in the style of 'RV there yet" and make the driving super silly while trying to maintain the signal accuracy, unfortunately just ran out of time so a lot of mechanics were cut down to make them at least 'finished'.

Licence to Fine by IndigoWolf 2026-04-21T10:18:21Z

@podrez Yeah, I really wanted to add in a diegetic UI onto a physical dashboard. I did actually start modelling it but cut it to save time :( Was gonna make the dials be affected by hitting obstacles and speed bumps XD

Revenant Pattern by rexpeppers 2026-04-20T12:32:35Z

Good job, kept it simple, delivered a solid entry.

Broadcast Alignment by Pedro M Marangon 2026-04-20T12:22:23Z

Straight forward and well executed, a solid entry. Reminds me of my previous entry for the 'unstable' theme, but yours is substantially more polished and far better graphics XD. Great job.

Rail Rush by Sharky3188 2026-04-20T13:50:21Z

Absolutely love the wooden toy aesthetic. Overall felt quite polished.

Adventures in Xenolinguistics! by kristinamay 2026-04-20T14:43:12Z

I really like the concept and enjoy these diegetic PC style games, but for the life of me, just couldn't work out what I was supposed to do. I clicked everything and spent a fair time trying to notice any pattern but just wasn't sure if it was unfinished or not.

Switchboard Operator by CaptainSpoof 2026-04-21T19:00:19Z

I really liked this, the environment work was brilliant. Anything with a diegetic UI is always a big hit with me. Only trouble I found was connecting the calls felt a a bit awkward sometimes, like it was too far away.

The Hunt for Red April by XeduR 2026-04-20T13:06:46Z

Looks great and the concept is really fun, although I did struggle with the feel of the controls quite a bit. Great entry though.

The Hunt for Red April by XeduR 2026-04-20T17:35:23Z

@xedur Came back to play now you changed the controls. So much better, could definitely see myself playing a fleshed out version of this.

Signal Keeper by ABRDs 2026-04-20T14:05:27Z

Looks really good and sets a nice calm atmosphere. Unfortunately I struggled to play beyond the first ship as no more arrived, not sure if it may have been a softlock.

HeliRescue by darkshadow 2026-04-20T13:55:23Z

I managed to save everyone!

Incoming by kremlebot 2026-04-21T19:07:21Z

Short and simple but extremely well polished. Great work on this. The art was really impressive and the choice of colour helped to add real atmosphere. One of my favourite games of 59 so far.

The Bureau of Civil Harmony by hajpappan 2026-04-20T17:43:25Z

I really wanted play through the whole game, but looking up the lines in the directory was frustrating and broke the pace too much. The concept is really good and the game looks great though.

Beacon of Hope by Mascoll 2026-04-20T14:20:06Z

Not sure if you have finished submitting yet but the itch.io page is not public.

Outpost by henk 2026-04-20T14:59:17Z

Nothing seemed to happen for several days, not sure if I was softlocked or had reached the end.

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T13:20:47Z

Love the art you've created for this. I also did struggle a little with understanding the main goal and found that I was unable to stop the bugs or deliver the right colour food to the queen, not sure if I was missing something or if it was a collision issue.

The Hive of Queen Bee-Atrice by Domenixius 2026-04-20T13:52:48Z

@domenixius Ahh the shooting is on me for not being able to read properly haha. But yes, the colour of the queen was red and I was holding red and nothing seemed to happen, maybe I was just missing something though.

Radiotower by Custodi 2026-04-20T12:57:08Z

I enjoyed this a fair bit and had a few attempts. It did find it extremely difficult though, very easy to get overwhelmed by incoming signals. Good job overall though!

Farwatch by Liquid 2026-04-20T13:33:10Z

This is extremely good for a compo entry, feels very polished, graphics are great and any kind of RTS is ambitious in my view. Really great job. I did find it slow to get getting and had some issues where my workers seemed to stop producing from my farms which kind of soft locked me.

Crashout by leenoi 2026-04-20T13:02:40Z

Simple but enjoyable. Those ambulances really don't stop for anything. Definitely something that could be expanded into a bigger game, ideal for mobile devices. Great job!

Radio game :3 by gobbe 2026-04-20T14:21:38Z

Was unable to play the embedded game unfortunately, nothing actually loads.

Signal: UNKNOWN by basic_eagles 2026-04-20T14:17:00Z

Can't see any link to your game and no description. Is everything submitted correctly?

LD59 SIGNAL STRIKE by GARYglhf 2026-04-20T13:14:48Z

The only good bug, is a dead bug! I enjoyed it, nice work.

Call For Help by bling 2026-04-20T13:42:07Z

I like the idea here, one big improvement if you ever wanted to make this into a full game, it would be fun if there were predefined messages to type out, or even dialogue that has to be typed within a time limit/avoid errors. Like the atmosphere of being stuck alone in a bunker, the art and sound really helped with that.

Through the Dark Forest by tweekus 2026-04-20T16:18:06Z

Solid little entry. I kind of forgot what the game was called until after I intentionally reported the unnatural objects XD

Follow the signal by cupofmilk7 2026-04-20T12:10:15Z

Probably the longest I've ever played an LD entry. Fantastic work all round. Loved the hand drawn art style and colour choice.

ECHOMAZE by pipetto 2026-04-20T16:27:07Z

This is a great concept, although I did find myself ultimately just relying on the minimap rather than using the core mechanic. I really liked the echo shader (assuming it is a shader)

Lost Focus by Helslo 2026-04-20T14:15:59Z

I like the mechanics here but I really did struggle to use the signal consistently and wasn't able to progress far unfortunately. It was a bit challenging to understand.

lost in head by ROWLING 2026-04-20T17:21:39Z

I found this too be too difficult unfortunately, granted I'm not a puzzle fan but some of them seemed rely on trial and error more than deducing the intended solution. Number 3 in particular had elements just just simply didn't seem to do anything no matter what I tried. The use of illusory space was very cool and well executed.

LD59 Radio by Sylva Aster 2026-04-20T16:06:05Z

I crashed a few times trying to play :( I did enjoying exploring around though was I got the hang of the controls

Signimal by FrowsyFrog 2026-04-20T15:14:28Z

My poor animals :( Great job on the art and sound design!

Intercept by paracorn 2026-04-20T15:10:45Z

Definitely one of my favourite entries. You absolutely nailed down the concept you were going for, it felt complete and polished with great art and sound design.

You should be proud of this. Brilliant job!

-- --- •-• ••• • by Treike 2026-04-20T14:00:33Z

Would definitely benefit from maybe having some goal to the decoding, maybe some story to go with it. I also found myself only using the the translation sheet, would be good to be able to replay the sound. Nice work though.
