As a big fan of Lucas Arts point and click games I enjoyed this a bunch! Pls expand to a full game :)

One of the best soundtracks! Lesgoo
Didn't remember memory game would be so addictive. Nice job! Some feedback: Enemy seemed to turn cards pretty randomly. Having npc learning from players mistakes would prob. make the gameplay a bit harder
I find the hand drawn(?) backgrounds very nice!
Well executed and fun game idea! One minor thing: The earthling icons on top right were a bit too small..
I enjoyed this one so much! The best part was to get the inventory full only to notice the time is almost up and I've no direct way out...but still made it back with 5 sec daytime left. My only critique is on the mining animation: it could be juiced up a bit with some easing or full pixel animations.
What an adorable little adventure, got all the cats! World size is spot on and the cosy mood fits very well to the collecting task.
A well balanced and fun jam entry! The best part was def. figuring out the routes to the vegetables. As for feedback: Tutorial level for the game controls would have been a plus. Or alternatively tips in the first level. (Lazy as I am I just read half of the game manual :P)
I got ~10 from memory and rest by purely guessing, very unique experience!
Nice retro vibes and spicy hardness. Defeating the mouse boss was a bit tricky though already in the second level.
My favourite mini-game is the bug hunting bc that's my job in our house...great vibes all the way through!
Very creative! I liked that the skateboard and sportcar didn't stop immediately. It kind of makes player select between persistence and greed. Now excuse me, have to go back playing..
Really fun concept! Losing stuff by getting hit reminded me of sonic games. Oh yeah, and the soundtrack is absolutely top notch.
@jaco-van-hemert thanks for the feedback! I had similar ideas but as I had to work on monday, they never saw the light of the day :/
Thank you @haogege @lehmy @beguilint @pimeko @borodaolen for your kind words and playing the game! Plus, it was not so long ago I played sam&max again for nostalgic reasons ;)
@ciphereo @tiwe-me-ruu @ira-baciu Thank you for taking the time to try the game! Much appreciated!
@torte478 There are in total 6 levels (+ tutorial)
@surfa @bobap @ghettobastler I agree with your feedback. The game ,as it is now, is a somewhat too hard. Some powerups or helper tools hidden in the bin would have been maybe the easiest solution. I'll note your feedback down in case I decide to do some post-jam devving. Thanks!
@coderaurus Great! I'm happy to know that the last two levels are beatable as I didn't have time to test. Excluding the tutorial level, there should be six levels in total.
@yibirabbit007 Interesting glitch...did you by chance play with 4K resolution? I've tested the game only with FullHD (1920x1080) in browser without full screen.
Thanks @wouter52 ! the results took me by surprise really :]
Ngl I was drawn to this game by the cute visuals :)
Pure awesomeness! (also, the poor duck in the intro needs a hug :´-)
I liked the visuals (especially the palette selection) the best, they bring stamp collecting vibe up 200% :) Good job!
Dunno why, but I got instantly "the corridor" vibes ;) The game is def. funny and easy to play! Maybe tune timer a notch up for the easy level (at least for us dinosaurs :P)
Everything absolutely adorable! The doggo reminded me of good boy galaxy =)
Art&Music were the best Imho. Unfortunately I had some hard times memorizing the notes, which caused quite a few restarts right from the beginning
Never seen or played something like this. Very unique concept for an abstract puzzle game. I enjoyed the gloomy dark mood
Very nice mix of searching and puzzles! Matches well also with the jam topic. I ran out of batteries so many times, but were able to get to the second puzzle. Found also some cheese: By rocking right mouse button one can enable radio even if battery is dead ;)
Nice concept! I managed to accomplish the level 1 but it was a bit tough given the time limit. Having keyboard controls would have been a plus.
Climbing in that mountaneous terrain reminded me a bit of peak. I enjoyed the isometric map and the tiny details like the howling wolf. What I missed though was 8 way movement -and- I'm not sure if this was a bug, but after founding the first member the audio signal just disappeared. I assumed the signal would be played for all missing members?
I got the ending "lost man" and it was nice round although I very rarely play visual novel style games The narrative, audio and the mood were on point. I wished the background visuals were also hand drawn (i think they are now 3d modeled?)
The soundtrack is so good!
GG @coderaurus (and Nalle & Beguilint)! My initial thought was: "Hey,looks a bit like Spiritfahrer...". The graphics and the execution of the concept are on point. My critics are learning the gameplay loop and length of the game. Now stuff happens a bit too fast in the beginning and I'd love to have a few more levels with one or two more unique challenges. (Nevertheless, I got hang of the gameplay on the 3rd round and reached the finish)
Solid entry! Visuals and SFX were IMO very good. Otherwise I'd have preferred to gain upgrades slightly faster to boost progress in the beginning.
I'm with most of the previous comments: a bit too short, but there's potential for extending. Like maybe put some puzzles in, or give player a pencil so they can manually rewind the cassette ;)
Thanks for the feedback @julienlussiez @jackofcups @poboy @jackofcups !
@poboy : With correct frequency and modulation you can capture coordinates where the bombs/mines are being dropped. With incorrect frequency you hear just noise, with correct frequency but incorrect modulation you hear garbage. That's how it works ;)
@jackofcups : The radio static is actually from a real short-wave audio capture. Glad if it awakes some RF vibes
Thanks for the constructive feedback @ursagames and @coderaurus. As usual, time for playtesting and finetuning was left short, but it's good to know where to improve. Maybe for next jam I should really recruit some playtesters ;)
Thanks @sirplop @coro-yy and @wouter52 for the feedback and kind words! @wouter52 : Well now yes. I thought about separating the gameplay entirely to an intercept and relocating states. But then time+energy ran out and I wasn't able to playtest and finetune the gameplay with that option.
One of the best games I've played from LD59, hands down. The concept is very clever and the visuals are just so fresh and fitting. The vibes remind me of some Stanley Kubric movies, like eyes wide shut..maybe because of the masks
One of my favourite jam games so far! During the first round I did not understand how to thwart enemies, but reading the manual helped :) Having more fine grained control of the ships would have been even nicer
Nice western vibes here. Just one thing: If music was self made, was e-guitar a real fender telecaster or not? :D
A clever idea with good execution. It was easy to learn the basic mechanics and the gameplay was very enjoyable!
+1 for embedded game not loading on brave browser (just to let you know)
Blasting zombies was a fun home office coffee break activity! edit: Forgot to add that after playing this entry, I want to go back in time and re-do the jam with wild west gun duell perspective :P
