Fantastic work on both the art and sound! It’s impressive how you managed to craft such an engaging story within such a short timeframe. The branching paths really encourage multiple playthroughs, which is a great achievement for a jam game. I did find myself wishing for a more fleshed-out ending, but considering the deadline, what you accomplished is truly outstanding. Great job!
The art looks very professional and cool. I really like the atmosphere that the picture and the music creates, it completely consumes me and I feel like I'm part of this forlorn world from the first minutes.
I will look forward to the updates, I want to play and see all the ideas of the author.
Very cute game, I enjoyed mining resources and improving my character. Great job! I would have liked to be able to dig upwards, though I can see why you decided to scrap the idea. A couple of the tails under the stores should probably be made indestructible. Since the game doesn't have an endless mode, it would be great to have a simple score system and compete with friends to see who can get the most resources in 7 days.
Does he actually flip the middle finger on exit? Haha, this is such a fun little game!:P
What a gem... I LOVE THIS GAME, you guys did an amazing job. Visuals, audio, stroy, characters. Eveything is just so perfect, 10/10! Showed it to my wife, she loves rats. Now it's her favorite game too:)
The first 5 minutes I didn't fully understand the basic concept of the game, so I had a hard time getting through the first level. But as soon as the main idea of the game came to me, everything started to play in different colors!
Unfortunately the constantly rotating camera gives me a bad feeling, so I couldn't play longer, although I would have liked to get to the end. The inertia of the character is very big and so hard to control.
Overall great job and a huge accomplishment in such a short amount of time.
Great game, I love turn-based games! The simple and convenient mechanics made it super easy to dive into the gameplay, and that's a huge plus. I really, really wish there were any sound though: that would add a lot more impact to the world and give the whole game a richer atmosphere.
By the way, you can also hold down a key and the game will skip turns at crazy speed. I'm not sure if that's something you want to fix, but I thought I'd report it just in case:)
At first, I thought it would be just another game about diving... but I was so wrong! Very neat idea with the controls. As someone who gets dizzy easily, it feels very convenient. Great little game!:)
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the last four coins to get the drink and see what happens next, but from what I did experience, the game made me smile! The dialogue were funny, the sky sprite felt really cozy, and even though the location was small, it was fun to explore every little corner.
Hey dude, there's a submission hour for everyone to upload their game and source code. I can't believe you missed it, even if you didn't read the rules carefully. That's not fair and goes against the rules. This can't be considered a compo entry anymore.
All you had to do was upload the game you made in 48 hours, include the source code, and then provide a link (like to itch.io or whatever) for a version with fixes and updates. It’s really that simple. Please change the category to jam or extra.
Check the rules before competing, bud. It’s your responsibility to follow them if you want to stay in the category, but you missed the deadline to upload the game’s source code and now you’re refusing to do it. That’s against the rules.
This isn’t a platform to promote your future commercial game, so no one’s buying the stuff you're saying about "evil publishers."
I really hate having to say all this, because your game looks and plays great. It’s a big miss. Hopefully, next jam you’ll play fair.

@kevin-meissner You’re correct, this is a game-breaking bug, and I’ll need to switch to Jam to be able to upload a fix. Thanks for catching it! The elevator should be upgraded for 100 coal instead.

A very good strategy clicker! I love the overall atmosphere: the art and music fit together perfectly. I know how hard it is to make a game like this in such a short time, so I’m really satisfied with the balance.
