Great!
Just played it fully, love the ambientation, dialogs, overall vibes... reminds me of the old days of point and click with hidden features
Cool game! Awesome artwork and soundtrack!

It is very, very, very good! The atmosphere, the story, the whole game so good! And the gameplay like in the old quests, i love it! This is definitely one of the best entries in LD-57 on my opinion.
It is awesome to play it. No kidding, best looking game here at the moment. Hope you'll receive tons of good reviews. Have a good time! See ya next LD?
Very nice! I love the overall mood—everything fits together so well. And of course, the graphics are fantastic! I’ve got to see both endings now :) It’s a small game, but really enjoyable!
The vibe of this game was great. Really impressive how you were able to capture this kind of feeling in 48 hours. Not my personal favorite type of game but, you get bonus points for making it accessible! Great work!
I've been waiting to play this! I had no idea it would be point & click, and you nailed it! It suits your art perfectly. I would totally play a full version of this, it got me engaged to the end! And it gave me a good scare too XD 10/10
A top entry. The graphics were top-notch as was the music, which together made a really nice atmosphere.
I didn't understand if I was supposed to be able the monster? some words I could kind of make out, but most I couldn't (was I supposed to speak them aloud phonetically?). Luckily I got the gist from my guy's replies :D
well done
@foolishfool Thank you!
@airgameboys Thank you! Yes, this is basically a typical oldschool point and click adventure game, so Im glad it gave you the right vibes.
@sqqqwer Thank you, Im glad you enjoyed it!
@xpoho Wow, thank you, that means a lot really! Yes, I'm a huge fan of old LucasArt and Sierra games, so my inspiration is probably too obvious there :) PS: You chickened out from the "better" ending :P haha
@psychomonster Thank you so much, and thank you for coming and enganing in my stream too. I'm glad you enjoyed it, even though you probably seen all the spoilers on the stream haha.
@jiri-hysek Thanks Jirko, I'm glad you liked it. I enjoyed your game a lot too.
@trabasura Thank you, I appreciate your compliment, but to be honest, the engine I use (adventure game studio), is super simple to use, so it helps me to focus more or story telling, graphics and mood. Most people here probably need like 70% of time for coding, not me. So that's why it's quite easy for me to do these games :)
Well, I had to play this after I saw your posts during the jam  As stated, fantastic graphics and sounds. The atmosphere is so thick. Reminds me back to the time when deepnight made some point and click adventures for ludum dare or backout. Especially these high quality point and click adventures really stick in my mind and I think this game will be no exception!
very good looking and atmospheric game, excellent submission!
DUDE! This game slaps so hard :D Awesome sound design, bearutiful graphics and as other people pointed out the point and click adventure nostalgia is definitely there.
Great amount of polish and it also hits my lovecraftian sweet spot!
10/10 submission.
Something special! Space :) Great advanture, thanks for a game like that
wow! nicely thought game! I have to play again!
crazy good game and art, i was fully immersed into the game atmosphere, and it made me want to play and explore more
Great entry. Took me to old times. Just want to play more and more. Weirdly relaxing.
Amazing art and presentation! Loved the story too. Very gripping! Maybe the writing at the end got a bit weak, and not sure exactly what happened in the last scene :D Really immersive experience overall, thanks!
Fun game
Art looks really good, that combined with the ambient music creates a really nice mood. Story was decent, the ending felt a bit abrupt though. Also exiting the computer wasn't very intuitive for me, it took a long time to figure out those buttons on the bottom left weren't purely visual.
Art is fantastic, sound design great - really well done!
Wow! This is a great Point&Click! Especially for a jam! I loved the graphics, and the audio.
Audio Was amazing! Really drew me in - Very Moody, i liked it, great job
I swear I slowly started speaking "cosmic goddish" while playing! The mood slaays
This game is so impressive! I really love artstyle and lovecraft vibe!
This is the most beautiful pixel art I've ever seen. I like the puzzle at the beginning of the game, it's interesting.
Really nice art, didn't get the ending tho, did i became insane? It felt like a game that will be one of the better ones, that i will play. Music was really nice ;) good job guys, I tried both endings :D
What an amazing game! From pixel artist to pixel artist, I really love the style! Feels like a LucasArts game from the 90s
Very nice art ! Hard to understand what's going on, but the inspiration is not so far with this. The ambiance is really nice
@oadt @mcramon @ssiannas @immortalfox @metaksonio @yanzhi @cinar @doppler-affect @pigeon-dp @kluvenlaroplan @pe4q07 @dywanix @sofia-miglan THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING MY LITTLE GAME! I truly appreciate the feedback <3
@nyxkn @oxnh Thank you for the feedback! Oh, yes, I agree, the writing wasn't very good. I always have a hard time to get the stories, including well written pace into 5 minutes Jam game. I ALWAYS fail. It's so hard haha. I basically tried to make two endings so it's at least a little bit impactful, but yeah I was running out of time, so I just did it quite abruptly.
@leorean Thank you! I truly enjoyed your Dyamid game! Beautiful and fun to play.
This is my favorite one so far! The pixel art is great, and as a big Lovecraft fan, I love the story. Kinda reminds me of Rick and Morty.
I love it!
DAMN! THIS IS A GOOD GAME!!! 5/5
My pc crashed when i quit the game :(
Hey it is a really cool experience ! I loved the graphics and the sounds it is really immersive ! I really couldn't understand the monster i don't know if there is a way to do so but either way i loved it. I had to play it 2 times to get both endings ! Well played
Wow this is gorgeous, really well done.
Fantastic art and atmosphere!
Love this game so much, nice work! :gift_heart:
This was the very first Ludum Dare game entry I got to play this year and it blew me away. I was quite surprised with the music (it set the mood big time), and the art was just so good. It is quite polished for just two days, it is also really immersive for the short burst of gameplay that it was. Loved it, voted for it - if you do ever consider making a longer version for it, chances are I would play it too.
Fantastic game ♥
I love the artstyle and the atmosphere!
Awesome
When I played, I didn't realize you could click through dialogue and for some reason never thought to try. The slowness deflated an otherwise great game, and I only thought to go back and check when no one else commented on it. Maybe make a note of that somewhere in game (and if you did and I missed it, oops!).
Also love the audio. You can always tell when there's a dedicated person making the music, and @kobylarz did a great job with it. I don't know which of you did sfx but those were great too.
Very beautiful and stylish game in the spirit of old school. Thanks for the wonderful atmosphere.
Fun entry, got some nostalgic Sierra Adventure game vibes from it. Great art and music.
Stellar mood and art. Amazing job!
I agree with all the things others have said the art is great, and atmosphere is very well done!
It's a short story, but it felt pretty polished, and I had fun playing through this.
Woah! The atmosphere! Bombastisch
I enjoyed the game. Very interesting and atmospheric, visual style and music are good too
It's always amazing to see entries like this in a game jam. Just feel incredible! The graphics and audios are too good.
The shape of the portal sure reminds me of something... Great graphics and atmosphere, well done!
wow, this is lit! i really like games like this and you did such a great job with atmosphere, graphics and sound! i feel like i walkthrough demo-version and i really want to see a full version. overall great job!
Incredible graphics, original story... Very solid, dare I say deep *badum-tss* entry!
I love me some pixel art point and click! Excellent graphics, atmosphere and interesting story!
The art is gorgeous, and combined with the sound, it creates a truly immersive experience—great job! I don’t want to spoil anything, but… I’ve accepted my fate. 😄 Not sure if it’s something on your end, but when I clicked the settings button in the web version, a white dialog box popped up with some options. It might be better to style this menu in dark mode, since coming from a dark game screen, the brightness can be a bit harsh on the eyes.
Very very nice game :)
Another classic by @iluvatar :) The atmosphere was 10/10 and left me wanting to learn more!
The atmosphere was great! I found the text somewhat hard to read, but maybe that even led me to take longer in reading than normal. It was really nice to go through an entire story
Great little point and click adventure with great art, nice work!
Really appreciate the work you put into the pixel art on this, looks amazing.
Cute little quest!
Amazing, totally the kind of game I love, I would love it to have a full version! Everything is on point. Only issue I've encountered: when opening the computer, I press twice ESC and QUIT.. I didn't understand the small buttons that looked like led were actually the button to go see somewhere else :'(
Please help, I really want to play this but I have no idea what to do! Where do i find the manual? I tried clicking on everything but I don't have power, connection, anything. It looks beautiful and I really want to play it
@texugo, Hello I'm sorry for this inconvenience.
At the beginning you need to click on the switch, then you will be able to click on the sparkling wires, then you will be able to click on the computer, there you shoud see all the information needed to continue. After that click on the "navigation computer" (the one with chair), and proceed :)
Felt like a little time warp back to the Space Quest days
Mindblowingly detailed, top notch pixal-art, too. The atmosphere is spot on and I love the slow rhythm of this game.
This game was nice and sweet! I enjoyed myself. First I thought the game would end after entering the portal, but there was a whole section after that! I was pleasantly surprised. The music and art style are very well done. I can see you're talented at that stuff. The point and click mechanics are well done too. I like how there were some element you could click on that only triggered some dialog. For instance, the architecture
It's very nice small game. Not so much gameplay inside, but artwork is really greate!
wow, pixel art was really good, i like how the game demand you to actually read about you character and what is you goal.
Also cosmic horror is my jam
Very cool pixelated point and click puzzle story. I enjoyed it and was a bit disappointed when it ended.
Nice and atmospheric. Iam really bad at remembering things, so it was a bit of a pain, but the rest more then made up for it.
Awesome, really good atmosphere (even in space :eyes:)!
Loved the design and the lovecraftian style!
It looks just incredible. There is somewhat a lack of puzzles (limited time, probably) but having a handful dialogue options and how to choose between them works well.
I liked that the game decided to reveal the mystery of the Wilco family tragedy. A line of respected space explorers was interrupted, and all that was left for them was the inevitable fall to becoming a janitor...
But seriously, it's great that you managed to create a real adventure in such a short time! Nice pixel art, good music. An atmosphere of cosmic solitude.
I would have liked more puzzles on the second and third screens. But in any case, it was pleasant to play. I wonder, do you plan to develop this project further in any way?
@nnmbzr Haha finally someone got the reference! Honestly I expected the name reference to be too obvious and boring, but then I realized there probably isn't as many niche Sierra fans as I thought it would be.
Anyway, thank you very much for playing the game and for the lovely feedback. Yeah the lack of puzzles is quite bad for me on these Ludum Dare entries in general. That's why I focus more on story and atmosphere.
Thank you for your interest, but I don't think I will continue this game. I already work on a big adventure games project, so Ludum Dare is really the only time I have for some fun silly side projects.
If you are interested, check out our Steam page: Castle Dornstein. There is a demo available, quite old demo, but it's something :)
I like so much point'n click, and I love the old good vibe of this one. I played it twice to get the two endings - I like too the idea of having translation only through the main character's answers, but was frustrated a little as I could not understand the final sentences of each ending  Good job and well done!
Really interesting story — it didn’t feel short at all. I only played through one ending, but it was a very surprising twist! To be honest, I struggled a bit with the god-language — maybe because I subconsciously relied on patterns from ordinary language 😅
Really great game! Love a classic AGS style adventure game, AND love a Lovecraft story, so this is the perfect pairing for me, lmao. Really managed to capture that desolate deep space feel with the ambient sound and the detailed pixel art. Ending was also fittingly bleak. Gameplay was sorta perfunctory, but serviceable to keep the story moving. Overall, a short and sweet little adventure. Nice work!
Played a second time just to make different choices. Amazing game.
First of all, AMAZING artwork and impeccable sound design. They set the mood perfectly. I love the monster sounds! Secondly, you created a very interesting, engaging and straightforward story. It was perfectly timed, without overstaying it's welcome, and well intercalated with interactive elements to keep the player engaged. Overall great work!
I'm a sucker for old-school point & click games. You nailed the overall atmosphere and mood.
Incredibly detailed art, but puzzles looks silly.
Amazing work with the graphics! I really loved the ship's hull moving independently from the inner frame! Great game!
So cool, it amazing that you draw it and animate it in 3 days, it would be more immersive if you added more sound effects, but even without that, it's a fantastic job
What a perfect little point and click game. I liked everything, the art off course, but also the little puzzles, the music. Really amazing
Really enjoyed this. Love point and click adventures, especially sci-fi horror with a bit of cosmic lovecraft thrown in there too. Fantastic work.
Fantastic work on both the art and sound! It’s impressive how you managed to craft such an engaging story within such a short timeframe. The branching paths really encourage multiple playthroughs, which is a great achievement for a jam game. I did find myself wishing for a more fleshed-out ending, but considering the deadline, what you accomplished is truly outstanding. Great job!
this game was so amazing, and surprisingly a long play. I loved the atmosphere!
Good game!
