I like it a lot! Very interesting idea and mechanics! Great game!

I like it a lot! Very interesting idea and mechanics! Great game!
Not a bad game, I wish the camera would move with the dash, otherwise there is a chance to die when you see an enemy or obstacle at the last moment
Not a bad mini-game, I would like to see more quests and some challenges for the player in the future
Really like the color schemes used in this game
The overall gameplay loop with drilling, drill maintenance, and monster defense is very good. I enjoyed your game, the graphics and music set a goofy atmosphere that keeps you from getting tired of the game, great job!
The character customization mechanics are a banger
Очень красивая графика получилась, очень крутая атмосфера!
Very nice visuals. At the beginning a little bit did not understand how to play, but then figured it out, the game is very good
Incredible game! Really like how some of the graphics are done, you did a great job!
good horror!
Minimalistic idea, but very good execution. The game is really difficult, I never once managed to get to the end haha
Absolutely insane game for Ludum Dare. You guys did a great job
The sound and visuals in this game are just beautiful, great job
Very cute and beautiful graphics, great job!
It's both bizzare and a lot of fun to play, from the dialogs to the music to the visuals, 10\10
Sonar animation is very beautiful, as well as the whole visuals in general, but the game is a little bit of nagging for me personally. But the game is very interesting and cool, good job!
Very cool idea! I got sucked into the game, very fun to play, I really didn't understand why the left tree is swearing hahaha but it's funny game, Love it
Very cool 3d! The game is a lot of fun to play, and also after this game I really wanted to eat some sweets
The game is good, but lacks progression and a little more variety
It's just unbelievable. I've been playing this game for a very long time and it's very addictive. I love how levelups is integrated into the drill and all you have to do is mine resources. But the way it's done, the graphics, the sounds, the impact of breaking blocks - it's all done beautifully. I would love to see a sequel to this game in the future, you did a great job!
Very interesting but a bit difficult at first for me puzzle game, good job!
I like how the character sprites are drawn, very nice work. However, the controls aren't very nice, jumping on those trampolines was a bit problematic and the enemies attack when I attack, it feels a bit unfair. Also I was a bit confused when sitting down at the campfires, and I didn't realize that you have to sit at them for a bit, it seemed a bit illogical. Anyway, good job you did a great job!
I liked the controls and rocket jumping, fun and interesting visual style, very good game, great job!
Not a bad game, simple enough. It lacks some sounds, maybe music, so that the game was not so monotonous. It also seems that the number of necessary fragments is too much and without a map it is hard to figure out where I was and where I have not been yet and the constant search for fragments turns the game into a chore
Very cool storytelling, nice vibe. The graphics are simple but pleasing to the eye. Good game!
The game has very nice graphics. I like how the atmosphere is done. The character and enemy animations are very cool too! Good entry!
The graphics of the game is beautiful but I did not understand the purpose of the game, I realized that you need to collect balls to live, but I do not understand if there is any sense to shoot at hostile fish, because I do not feel a special impact from the shots. Also very much missing sounds for immersion in the game
Very cool mechanics and item realization. Good job!
great entry! amazing visual, effect and game pretty fun
Beautiful visual style! Very atmospheric and pleasing to the eye
I really liked the visual style! The gloomy atmosphere really creates a vibe
Very interesting game idea I like it, I would like to see more levels. Upgrade button does not work? Or is it just a bug. Nevertheless, great job!
Some of the most beautiful pixel art I've seen on Ludum
Very vibe game. I liked the way the graphics were done
very fun and good game! I liked the different mechanics in the game, the progression, the overall style and visuals of the game along with the music and sound effects. Very cool game
@based-on-life Thanks a lot! Some mechanics aren't working correctly right now, so the character doesn't die now, and containers may open but not give items (you probably have less than 2 free slots on the hotbar). We will fix the bugs in the coming hours! Also there is no balance right now, we finalized the mechanics in the last minutes of publishing. I hope you will appreciate other aspects of the game!
@leophyte Thanks for the feedback! Pushing enemies is a bug that we didn't notice, as well as immortality, we will fix it soon! The game does loop, the locations around the character change, but we didn't have time to do the progression, the game is mostly randomized
@ljg there is no main goal as such in the game (we didn't get to finish the ending). In this game you just survive in a random locationWe just now noticed that the backlighting of the buttons does not work, in the coming hours we will release a patch and it will be clearer!
The following bugs have been fixed: 1. character immortality caused by missing death screen 2. lack of indication on repair buttons caused by incorrect layer grouping 3. pushing by enemies caused by incorrect collider 4. Infinite oxygen problem, due to missing variable 5. No loot in containers if player doesn't have enough inventory slots 6. Too small ship menu 7. Sound problems related to loop in sound effects missing sounds for some items and buttons
Thanks for playing our game and leaving your feedback! <3
@marudziik Perhaps you have stumbled upon a bug that we have not seen, in idea each sound of the ship is responsible for its own button and has a direct relation to it (for example, the sound of bubbles is a waste of oxygen, the sound of cracking wiring - a waste of energy), in theory in the boat can not die, but you can die playing as a person, for example from pressure (barometer to the left of the objects) or oxygen. They have sound effects too. Nevertheless, Thanks a lot feedback! We are very happy that you enjoyed our game!
@jimiasoph ,You don't really have to move in one particular direction, the environment around you changes within a few screens, so if you see a monster in front of you, you can run in the opposite direction and you'll find yourself in a new place. It's just a matter of whether or not you can see the loot you need ahead, whether or not it's worth taking a chance on the monster. About the interactivity of the environment you are right, interactive only boxes in the foreground and various objects flying in the water or lying on the ground. We didn't have time to make this point well, so it can feel a bit confusing. Thanks a lot for the feedback and compliments! We are pleased that you liked the game!
Your game’s cover made me click and play it - really cool game
Pleasant visuals combined with a strong atmosphere. The simple mechanics make it easy to pick up and start enjoying the game quickly. Great work!
A really solid game that clearly takes a lot from Buckshot Roulette. I loved how much variety you managed to add to something as simple as rock-paper-scissors — the new rules actually keep things exciting and make it way more intense.
A very cute game! I really like the visual style and the simplicity of the gameplay. It’s quite relaxing and addictive, and the music reminded me of the cozy vibes of Animal Crossing or something similar — really nice!
I really liked the visuals — the colors are very pleasant. It reminded me of Elite Dangerous; overall it’s not too difficult and feels nice to control. Super!
A small but atmospheric game — nice to see you in the compo!
Very cute style, love that smol birbs <3 <3 <3
A very solid visual style - great work!
A very fun game! I really liked the visuals and the overall cohesion of the art direction—graphics and sound design work great together and complement the gameplay loop nicely. Great job!
I like the gameplay loop — it’s a very engaging management experience where you have to keep track of several things at once. It’s challenging in that sense, but you can get used to it. A very interesting concept, with a simple, clear, and pleasant visual style in the spirit of Papers, Please.
The only issue is that the game doesn’t expand to full screen (I played it via an itch.io link), which makes it a bit hard to see the necessary numbers. But overall, I really enjoyed it!
A very interesting take on a poker game — even though the opponent with a gun was tough for me. The simple visual style and music are pleasant. Great work!
I liked the beginning of the game — progressing through meta-progression is a really interesting idea! After a few unlocks and power-ups it got pretty easy, and I ended up just filling the whole field with buildings since I had tons of resources.
The idea of linking buildings through others is cool, but it kind of loses its meaning in the late game, and you just end up placing as many towers and archers as possible in random spots.
That said, I really enjoyed it — it’s a really great game!
Guys, if the game feels too difficult (and you’re playing in the browser), try downloading the PC version from the files on itch — it’s much easier, and you should be able to win 100% (unless you literally do nothing in the game). For those who downloaded the game and feel like it’s too easy — try the browser version. The game ended up being fairly large, and in many aspects it’s quite random. It’s hard for me to balance everything on my own, although there are clearly some things that help you win — like placing as many cards as possible each in-game day and trying to kill mobs, since they give experience and items. I’d really appreciate it if you shared your experiences — whether you lost or won, what items or level you had, etc. I’m planning to expand on this idea in the future and will definitely take your feedback into account! By the way, I completely forgot to mention this anywhere in the game: the wheat field card heals you for 25% HP. You can only really notice it if you’re not at full health and see your HP go up. This is my second game jam project, and I didn’t manage to cover all the QoL details to make everything feel as smooth as possible. The fact that the character doesn’t always respond to pings is intentional and mentioned in the description. The core idea was to make it feel like you’re controlling an uncontrollable minion. I got the idea from signal systems in MOBA games like Dota 2 and League of Legends. Thanks for playing my game! Good luck beating it, and feel free to share your screenshots if you manage to defeat the final boss!

I’m really happy that you enjoyed the game and supported me — it genuinely means a lot.
It was especially great to read that many of you wanted a more polished and expanded version of the game. Over the past few days, I’ve been working on all the things I didn’t have time to properly implement or balance during Ludum Dare, and I’ve refined them in this new version.
You can try it by downloading the post-Ludum build from the game page, or by visiting the new page and playing it directly in your browser: https://hvdr02.itch.io/bloodbane-the-crimson-nocturne-post-ludum-ver
Thank you again for playing my game and leaving your feedback! If you have any thoughts on the gameplay, find any bugs, or just want to suggest something interesting, feel free to share it in the comments under the new version on itch.
Thanks again!
A very interesting game! I really like the visual style — it’s very cute, and the mechanics are quite engaging. The only issue is that the controls feel a bit complicated
1241231.png/ absolutely love the visuals of this game — they’re amazing! The core idea of the gameplay, kind of like a tower defense, is really interesting, but controlling it with numbers feels a bit unintuitive and tricky, even though you can get used to it. At one point the game threw an error and stopped working :(
The game looks fantastic! I really like how the theme is integrated into the gameplay rhythm and how it ties into the visuals. The only downside is that the controls feel a bit overloaded, though it’s something you can get used to
Yoooo visual peak cinema!!! I really loved the gameplay loop — it’s fantastic!
Прикольная история, хоть и немного не хватает геймплея, напомнило игры с java-телефонов, есть такой вайб
An incredibly cute game!!!! And the idea of drawing symbols is really cool — a great short game!
A very atmospheric game — it feels like a mix of VHS horror and fever dreams at 39°C. Really cool!
That cutscene was really tough. Love the skibidi vibe
A very cute game — I like the visual style, and the voice acting is really pleasant
Amazing character visuals! It looks incredibly impressive. The controls feel good, but it seems like the enemy hitboxes and movement speed are a bit too large — avoiding damage was really difficult, and it took real effort to progress. Great work!
It turned out to be really fun and interesting to tune the signal, and tying it to a little love story is very cute!
