The first five minutes were fun. Then I realized I couldn't find the gnome I needed. I wanted to turn it off, but then I decided to restart it. I restarted it, and miraculously, I found the first gnome. Finding the second gnome was also difficult. But when I realized I could kick gnomes for free, things got a little more fun. I found the second gnome. It was time for the third. At that point, I gave up. They're impossible to find. The graphics are nice, the atmosphere is great, but I'd like some hints. For example, if the game were more playable, it would throw the right gnome at the player after a couple of minutes.

@ciph3rzer0 The models are standard Unity assets. Essentially, the entire game is made up of assets. My input is the music and character speech. I tried to put together something interesting from it, and I hope I succeeded. Yes, the level is a bit underdeveloped; I didn't have time to incorporate many ideas.

@cgraen You can't dodge the drones. The best tactic is to keep your distance. Yes, the charges are deliberately designed to last. I thought it was fun when you were shooting at the surrounding area. But moving enemies pose a problem. I wanted to link them to the enemy's collider, but somehow I forgot about it.
@6knowledge I agree, this might be a slight violation of the rules. But I'm sure people judge me solely by the music and voice acting. Well, as far as I can tell from the comments. I doubt anyone would judge me by the sound of Metal Gear. It was added for fun.
I did most of the sound design myself. I recorded the guitar, bass, and piano, and also hammered out the drum part on a synthesizer. I recorded the scream at the beginning of the song that tore my throat out. I spent half the first day on the music. I recorded and then added the character lines. I think I deserve a rating. If anyone thinks otherwise, they can give me one star. After all, we're just here for fun.

It's awesome, it's Hotline Miami. It's very well done. The story is excellent, the graphics, the music, the dialogue—everything comes together.
The only issues are the camera isn't very nice. it could use a little more smoothness, but don't overdo it. It's unclear when the gun will run out of ammo, although that might be normal. When you're standing right next to a wall, you can't shoot. I backed away from the enemy, hit a wall, and couldn't shoot.

A good game. Nice style and music. I was really interested from the first minutes. But it's too easy. Too many resources. Once you figure it out, you immediately start throwing bots at the enemy. The mouse is completely imba; I bet and won.
Nice graphics, cozy game. I put my music in the background and played. But the sounds are definitely lacking.

I couldn't pass by the namesake! Nice graphics, sound and atmosphere. The tasks seemed too difficult for me. I only managed to collect three souls. It would have been nice to add, say, three more attempts. But in the bushes there are problems with display.

Вероятно невозможность выделить личное время на джем сказалось.
The graphics in the game are excellent. The tabletop guide is good. The concept is interesting, although I don't understand what the "Collector" theme has to do with it. The controls are unclear. There's no progression. You never know when a level will end. I think the lack of time played a role. I'd blame it on inexperience and poor team cohesion. But this isn't your first game together. The inability to find time for jamming probably played a role.
Поиграл в обновленную версию. Озвучка класс. Красивые рисунки. Руки приделали хорошо. Уровень как я понял бесконечный. Очень слабая игровая механика. Лучше сделать упор на механику. Времени 60 секунд хватает с запасом. Лучше сделать общий таймер и количество вещей которые мы за это время должны просмотреть. Сделать дни, мы работаем. Ну значит должны получать зарплату и куда-то тратить. На еду, жилье, жену детей. Papers, please! как референс в помощь. Ну как минимум сделать условия победы и проигрыша.

Great game. Nice pixel art. The bonsai-like transitions between levels aren't entirely obvious. And the final goal isn't clear. I assembled a squad of five lizards and decided that was enough.

First of all, please don't create installers. Just put the game folder in the archive. The menu is good, but the trees cover all the buttons. The controls are a disaster. There are issues with collision and mirroring (left/right movement). The problem is probably that the character and collider are mirrored, not the sprite. The character gets stuck at the edges of the screen, so it's best to move to the center when loading. If anything, bugs can be fixed after the jam is over. This is allowed. Overall, I liked everything. Good idea. Beautifully drawn. Please keep going, you're doing great.

Ребята привет! Игра интересная. Во всяком случае мне интересно, что там дальше после статуи должно быть и как она должна нам помочь. Мне понравилась графика, и атмосфера в целом. Классная стилистика кота в виде прыгающего параллелепипеда. Теперь о плохом. После первого диалога со статуей блокируются лестницы, пока не поднимешься к ней еще раз. Непонятно почему кот-инопланетянин посылает меня на юг. Юг традиционно снизу карты находится. А мы и так внизу карты. В итоге находим развалины на севере, не совсем логично. Хорошо бы писать текущую цель. А то пока я бродил по развалинам толкал бочки и кувшины я забыл, что я тут вообще делаю. По оформлению странички. Советую залить обложки картинки. Ссылку на игру поместите не в "Source code". Это для нескомпилированных исходных на c#. Люди заходят, не понимают где игра и уходят. Поместите ее в exe файл для Microsoft Window. Если умеете залейте веб версию. В игру так же необходим английский язык. Тут много русскоговорящих, но не факт что они выйдут на вашу игру. И да вы можете по истечению трех дней отредактировать страничку, сделать веб версию и добавить локализацию. Тут это приветствуется. И главное, если хотите, чтобы в вашу игру играли, вам необходимо играть в игры других участников джема и оценивать их. Тогда в вашу игру тоже будут играть и оценивать. До конца результатов еще 11 дней, так что дерзайте. В первые дни конечно рейтинг набирать проще, но и сейчас можно. Что ж, надеюсь я был вам полезен. Удачи и творческих успехов!

However, just in case the player feels adventurous and gets lost, I added a "Return to Last Checkpoint" button in the menu. What was planned: - Two endings: With two different final cutscenes. - Constant energy search: There would be ore scattered across the map acting as an energy source. - A more complex story in the mine: Sky was supposed to find a deep-sea radar from Rust. That’s where we meet Mars. During the scan, Mars was meant to perish right before our eyes. - Search mechanics: Our antenna was intended to work as a radar for finding items—the closer the object, the more frequent the signal. - Upgrade - Jump: At some point, we would have had to jump across platforms. - Upgrade - Sprint: Using Shift for high-speed driving to escape a collapsing cave. - More complex music: I decided not to spend too much time on it, which is why there are only three notes.
What I realized for myself: "Terrain" is quite limiting when it comes to creating controlled landscapes. It’s better to use it only as a base layer for the ground.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. It really gives me a lot to think about to make the game better!
@havearollonthefloor Спасибо, что поиграл в игру. Ну так как там почти ничего нет. Модельки все сделаны из примитивов. По сути внешние ресурсы только музыка и звуки. Музыка в FL Studio накидал три ноты и наложил delay. Звук передвижения персонажа, это звук моей микроволновки)

@paulsams Да, действительно все так. Но свой запланированный минимум я все же сделал, хоть и в последний час. Да какие-то вещи я не успел внедрить, но они были оверзадачей. Так что джем прошел по плану. В дальнейшем я буду стараться больше времени оставлять для полишинга игры.
@anku Спасибо, я учту. Раньше я делал звук тихим и люди просто его не слышали, поэтому на этот раз сделал погромче, но оставил возможность регулировки. Я добавил версию для скачивания и в ней звук уже выставлен на 40%.
@ternarycat На заставку я потратил 3 часа. Но считаю оно того стоило. Не успел финальную заставку сделать и пожертвовал время на проработку геймплея. Но что есть то есть. Нужного эфффекта я надеюсь мне удалось достичь.
@hdvr02 Согласен, пожертвовал геймплейными элементами в пользу нарратива и эффектной заставки. Была бы игра лучше с задуманным геймплеем, но без заставки? Может быть. Но мне хотелось ее сделать.

@planetary - I agree, a texture would have been nice. However, I would have had to draw it myself since I built everything from scratch, or rely on the engine's native features. - Yeah, I spent 3 hours on the splash screen, but it was worth it. - I made the terrain in a rush. I haven't worked with it much before, so I didn't fully understand how to make it behave the way I wanted. I had to figure it out on the fly. - Yes, I had some ideas for the stars—either generating them as separate objects with textures or creating a custom Skybox texture. I decided it was a low priority, though, as it wouldn't have changed much.
@sledzik I agree, it’s definitely missing an end screen.
Very cool game! I really enjoyed collecting the different metal parts. The graphics, music, and gameplay are all spot on.
The mechanics are decent, but I'd buff the rocket speed and nerf the fire rate. Adding a trajectory for the last three shots would be great for precision and experimentation. Currently, it’s just rocket spam; you just spray and pray until something lands.
Overall, everything was good. I made it to the end.
It’s an interesting idea, but I feel like it needs more work. The controls aren’t very responsive, and I’d prefer it if the camera followed the character automatically. Also, the key bindings (1, 2, Q) are a bit strange; it would be better to have visual buttons on the screen that you can click with the mouse. I really liked the music, though. It reminded me of Stranger Things.
This game gives me mixed feelings. On one hand, I like it and I'm curious to see what happens next. On the other hand, it drives me crazy to fly to Venus for the 53rd time only to crash or flip over again. Argh... the vibe reminds me of Super Meat Boy, but the levels there were faster. Here, the flight takes forever. I haven't finished the first level yet, but I liked it.

It’s interesting in principle. But this game needs to be played by two people — one types, the other shoots. Doing both at the same time overwhelms the player. I couldn’t keep up with the typing until level 6, but I managed the waves just fine. On level 6, I just farmed money and upgraded. Thanks for not resetting the progress — otherwise I would have quit. I played the remaining two levels with almost full upgrades.
It looks amazing. I really enjoyed playing it and made it to the Iron level, but that’s where I hit my limit. I don't like how the character clings to the walls, making it impossible to jump properly. That said, I loved the music and the overall atmosphere.
В общем-то понравилось. По началу не замечал мины и бафы. Слишком уж сливаются с задним фоном и передними пробегающими пузырьками. Поэтому первые 3-4 раза не мог дойди дальше первой полоски. Хотел бросить. Как заметил мины. Начал собирать рыбу и лупить по минам. Потом заметил белые мины. Начал лупить по ним. А потом случайно поймал белую мину и тут понеслось. Дойти до конца таки не получилось, но дошел до круглых рыбин.

Great job! You really created a scary atmosphere. At first, I felt safe because I was controlling a robot. I thought: 'If something happens, the robot will suffer.' But then, my boat caught fire. I was panicking and didn't know how to extinguish the fire. That’s when I realized: I am in danger, not the robot.
It wasn't obvious how to start the game, so thanks for the description. Also, I didn't know how to repair the boat. I didn't realize I had to press and hold the button. I had to restart the game because I thought it was broken.
P.S. Прошел игру три раза, так как на первый раз я не понял как работает огнетушитель. Во второй раз промахнулся мимо моста на пути к последнему артефакту и ушел в пропасть. В третий раз хотел уже бросить, но мне было интересно, чем это все закончится. Обратный пусть проходил методом скайрима, но мне не дали невидимые стены, пришлось идти в обход. Вообще хорошо было бы обратный путь как-то сократить. Я в какой-то момент думал, что я дал кругаля и четвертый артефакт будет у самого корабля, но нет. А так классная атмосфера с удовольствием поиграл. Отдельное спасибо за плакаты инструментов, очень помогли)
Красивая графика. Атмосфера действительно задает тон. Музыка нагнетает) Не совсем разобрался как играть, но пару раз победил. Дальше уже не стал играть.

Класс, как будто триллер посмотрел. Очень нехватало звуков. И еще вот бы озвучку было бы вообще круто.
Движек анлрил как всегда работает на максимум. Мой комп превратился в печку. Насколько я знаю там это дело как-то можно настраивать.
Мне понравилось, что был выбор нож или марке. Интересно, при выборе маркера, сюжет тоже поменяется?

Не совсем понял, что я сделал, но я вроде победил)
Довольно интересная механика. Но как-то все происходит слишком быстро. Какой-то особой стратегии от этой механики не увидел. Стоит над балансом поработать. Рудники и заводы я почти не использовал. Просто закидал башнями и лучниками по периметру. И не совсем понял, что делает перезагрузка сигнала, но она все порешала)

Браво, классная игра мне понравилось. Погиб от гриба, не знаю какой у меня уровень был, я как-то не обратил внимания.
Забавно что когда много раз щелкаешь по одному месту, вампир сразу подрывается и мельтешит полдня в панике, хотя уже все что мог там сделал. Это мельтешение как-то расходится с образом самовольного владыки вампира)
Еще вызвало проблему непонимание, когда деревню можно снова обескравливать. И сколько там крови в общем. Было бы удобно, если были бы для этого дела какие-нибудь маркеты.
Ну и да неочевидно, каким образом восстанавливается здоровье.
И как по мне, не хватает чего-то личностного. Мы просто бегаем по карте сами по себе. Незнаю, может какую-то механику к замку добавить?
А так круто. Обязательно загляну поиграть еще разок когда время будет)
Looks neat! I spent some time just zoning out to this.
It's actually a very interesting concept. But essentially, there's one solution for every level. You just pair up the opposite lights for 4 seconds each, and everyone moves through quickly and smoothly. Just like in the real world.
Buddy, the visuals are great. But sitting there for 30–60 seconds every day just pressing one button is getting a bit tedious. I was happy to see some variety in the tasks on the third day, but then it went back to the same old thing. On day five, I didn't even answer the call—I just waited for the day to end, which actually felt more interesting. By day six, when I was asked to sit and mash a button for a minute again, I just got bored and quit. By the way, the music isn't looped. After it plays through once, you're just sitting there pressing the button in total silence.
Простенькая бродилка с сюжетом. Я только со второго прохождения понял, что постоянный пилик и круг вокруг персонажа показывает направление сигнала. Странное решение, так как мы идем по коридору. Можно было бы добавить обманных развилок и на них показывать направление. А если игрок не понял, то замерзнет.
Так же в первом прохождении не понял, окуда я нахожу еду и дрова. Мне казалось я по пути их находил, когда фонариком шарил, а потом дошло что в палатках. Было бы неплохо визуально показать всплывающие числа возле перса (+1 еда, +5 топливо).
Сообщения я бы либо логировал, либо ставил бы на паузу, а то и холодно и почитать охота, что там написано) Кстати по этой причине я похоже не понял, что их убило.
Или это загадка, аля перевал Дятлова?
You did a pretty cool job. I really enjoyed playing it. The graphics and music are top-notch. It just lacked a bit of a challenge. I lost the first time because I started throwing forks around, ringing the bell, and hiding plate under a leaf. The second time, I just calmly and methodically put the fries together the right way, and that was it.
Great game. It's a great way to stretch your brain. Beautiful graphics. Sounds are definitely missing. The theme is 100% perfect.
It’s a fun game. In my opinion, the moment of hitting the rhythm isn't shown very well. I’d probably like to see some kind of sound and visual effect—for example, having the tile pulse when you hit it. The colors are beautiful, but focus on the gameplay elements gets lost. The music is pleasant.
It looks really cool. I enjoyed wandering around the level and made it over the tire, but then I started falling through the textures and couldn't find anything else. I couldn't quite finish it—judging by the screenshots, I got stuck right at the beginning! I really felt the lack of "Cursor.lockState = CursorLockMode.Locked;" and a hotkey to switch between the cat and the dog. If this game were polished up a bit, I’d definitely love to play more.
Классная идея. Довольно приятное управление. Спасибо за постоянно висящую подсказку, без нее тяжко было бы) Да в принципе и с ней тяжеловато. Надо бы запоминать где-какие цвета.
Мне кажется прикольно было бы добавлять цвета постепенно, чтобы игрок мог постепенно заучивать цвета.
