I think there is a potential in the idea of this sort of tetris tower defence.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → The Wizardless Tower

I think there is a potential in the idea of this sort of tetris tower defence.
Nice combination of Tetris puzzler and tower defense. I liked the concept. Good Job!
Pretty fun game. It took me a while to realize the goal was height and not survival time even though your height is displayed in giant letters. I agree with the previous comment, there is definitely potential in the idea.
A great game all-round. I would enjoy this game immensely if it was a little more carefully balanced. I think the barrage of enemies ramps up too quickly, if you don't already have some blocks down it's very hard to place anything without it getting destroyed pretty much immediately. That aside, i would love this game on my phone
I liked the idea behind this game - half tower defense and half tetris. Its really creative! Also, really difficult after about a minute, the difficulty spike quickly. I will say, having something drop straight down from the sky (not shot from a cannon) is pretty difficult to defend against, but maybe I didnt have the correct pieces in play. I found myself defaulting to using the arcane missile block. I couldnt figure out what the other blocks did. And a little guidance on what the goal is would be helpful too. I see a height marker at the top so I assumed it was to build as tall as possible but clarification would be helpful. Overall, the art style looked great I had fun playing it. Good job!
The idea is pretty refreshing to stand out from the numerous "tetris with physics" games. The gameplay is really engaging. But I do wish I can see the block shape before I purchase it. Great game!
I really liked the idea of the game, but I found it to get difficult too fast. I couldn't really engage with a lot of the more interesting mechanics as I didn't get the time to set them up. As well, the physics simulation was a little unstable itself, and that made it hard to exactly position blocks as I'd have liked to, so I could fit in more stuff. Finally, it'd be really really nice to have a way to rotate pieces. I wanted to tetris things in! Had a lot of fun anyway!
I like the game! I like the idea the tower being attacked by the enemies. I feel like it could use a lot more balancing to make the game more fair. Also, it would be nice if you could disable the collisions of the block you're building until you build it. I destroyed my tower when I dragged it across, but also used it to kill enemies :)
Anyway, well done! I enjoyed playing the game! :)
An interesting concept. But not balanced. It will be interesting to see the game balanced.
A really inventive idea, and a lot of fun. It would be great to see it expanded upon into a full fledged game. Well done!
Took a while to get the hang of, but it's a fun take on the "tower building" genre. Good job! :)
This is a really clever gameplay loop, nice work!
Very cool game, interesting concept. It got hectic pretty fast. I seemed to have a problem saving falling blocks. I feel there could be bit downtime for building and the onslaught.
Nice idea, balance is a bit lacking but a post-jam version would be super cool :) good job!
This is the first time I have ever played a game with this concept. Super cool idea! I ended up playing for an hour.
Very funny game, especially the many different enemy types and their animations.
I fought off more than I built , but it was still a lot of fun.
Congratulations on your contribution.
It looks great but I'm having a hard time even making a tiny bit of progress. I think this would be great if it slowed down a bit, or as some others have mentioned, had waves with time in between for building. If anyone is able to progress I'd love to know what I'm missing.
