What an emtotional rollercoaster!
Cute and short game! Great job with the cutscene! I really liked it!
Fantastic idea and wonderful art direction! I wish it was longer
You really captured the theme’s feeling, great job!
Simple but very well done. Played it to the end. The intro is very well done and it makes you wanna see the game to the finish. It's very clear when Betty is stable and when she is enraged. Some feedback: - At the beginning the instructions says Bethy is stable, but clearly is enraged. That may cause some confusion. - I feel like some feedback of when the rage is going to end could be fun. Blinking like pacman, or a fade into the stable model.
Overall, congrats on a great game.
Ok that was shorter than I expected. Gotta say that you did a god job on the cutscene. the unstable mechanic of you being in anger mode vs normal mode is a nice concept that you could have develop more mechanic around it and what's nice is you don't control it, so it is really unstable. Also PLZ dont use the word unstable in the description of your ability in the cutscene. People can see what is unstable by themself. If you feel the need to explain what is unstable, than it's probably a bad concept. Themewise many people have done the concept of emotion but handled it differently, i can't say it's super innovative, but it respects the theme :), On the Audio part, if you didn't make the audio yourself, you should opt out of the category and not be rated for it.Finally i must say that your character is so ugly it made me laugh ;)Thanks for your entry.
Loved the art, sounds, and the idea! If it was just a bit longer, I think I played through in like 30 seconds.
I loved how quirky the art and mood were. Congrats for finishing this short game.
nice
The artstyle and the initial cutscene made me laugh for some reason. Well done
Thanks for all the great comments. I wanted to make the game longer, like 3 levels but I ran out of time :) That's life.
@charles-viau Thank you. Most of the wording was done in a rush, I wasn't sure if I could even add it, so I focused on that it could explain the game rather than maybe it being too much that I say it's an unstable mechanic. I did do the sound effects and found some music I though would fit, but people can just decide themselves if they want to give me a rating in audio. It's ugly but that makes it beautiful :) Thanks for playing and the feedback.
I love the shifty eye animation, nice twist on that pac-man style gameplay, and very good intro in the beginning as well. Would've liked to see more but what was there was fun and funny. Good job!
I like the angry looking of Bethy haha! Good job!
Fun and cute. Could use an indicator that the rage is about to wear off. I hope it turns into a full game. :)
I like the graphics, well entry for the jam and the theme, I get a little raged for the speed of the lizards at the beginig but I get it in the end, a little short than I expected but I really enjoy, very good job
An interesting short game. Nice graphics and music.
was really fun and the concept was cool! sadly too short though :( Bethy is a cool character too!
I loved the introduction to the game, the camera movement was beautiful. Something about the intro text made me think that I was supposed to go towards the lizard people, but I quickly realized they hurt me. Maybe there is a way to make that part of you mission more clear. I liked the models and the environment, it strangely felt very cohesive. Enjoyed the journey. Good game!
Wonderful! Could be the best game if not for the music and sfx. Otherwise, it's very cool short story with, maybe, no moral at all, but there's a lot of philosophy! Thank you, this evening went well, your game saved it. P.S. Fun artwork!
