Good job! This game is really pretty, but I think a tutorial would've really helped to understand it.

Good job! This game is really pretty, but I think a tutorial would've really helped to understand it.
It took a few tries to realize that I had to click and drag the stones to fix the giant, but once I figured that out, the game was really intuitive.
I enjoyed putting the giant together in all sorts of configurations and the occasional odd block added a lot of flavor to the game. The art, overall really held together well, so good job on that.
It would have been fun to see different part give the golem different abilities (like an energy shield or an auto-heal), but that might have made him too powerful.
As it was, I think you have a reasonable balance to the game. It kept me busy, didn't overstay its welcome, and was enjoyable to complete.
Thanks for sharing your game!
Man is still alive without a head lol. Would be cool to see him move faster with healthier limbs as well as some more sound FX. Good job on the connectable limbs.
It's funny that you could replace limbs with different objects. I had a fish head replace the right hand. The music doesn't fit.
Overall, even if it's simple I think there's fun in it and the mechanics can be expanded to make it even more interesting.
A wonderful game, very addicting, the gameplay is simple and understandable for any user. Perfectly fills leisure time, looking forward to updates !!!
Cool minigame, with a very intuitive main mechanic (but a less intuitive magic power system).
The music doesn't really fit, but it's still catchy
The game looks great but if you need to spawn in more than one item then you might as well restart. I like the idea of just having a cobbled together golem by the end though that quite funky.
I like when the music changed, and the art was very peaceful (I know he is attacking lol).
I found it hard at the beginning, maybe starting off without a full giant and no balls firing at you so you can learn the mechanics? IDK - it was cool to see how modular the system was.
Nice gameplay, would like to see it more thorough ! It stick to the theme, and love the fact that there is strange objects that replace parts of the body :D
@eldogg I agree that learning would be helpful.
Very pretty game! I enjoyed it. :) Good work!
Good game (^w^). I appreciate the random variations in parts :p Golem.JPG
Great idea! Fun gameplay, but really hard :)
I liked the way you have to take care of the golem so it doesn't stop walking, it's really fun
Wow great upload. Music felt great within the game unfortunatly didnt loop very well could be webgl. The game play kept me playing longer then i expected at first.
Interesting take on the theme. Your music and graphics fit your game and provide just enough feedback to the player. What did you use to make the game?
Its a fun idea! I think it would be even more fun with some extra physics simulation, like if it walked wierdly with a shorter leg, but I understand these things can be hard to implment in suh a short time.
Great concept! I liked the modular pieces of the golem. I was a little unsure of how the magic was filled and how much it effected my skills. It would also be great to have an objective to work towards (destination/high score). Great foundation though, good job!
@hoeleboele You are right, the music is not looped. This is not a webgl problem. Our musician got sick at the beginning of the jam. This piece of music is all that he managed to do.
@ravenmages I didn't quite understand the question. Obviously Unity. I don't know what programs the artists and the musician worked in. If that's what you mean. Let them answer for themselves.
Creative concept! I laughed when I saw that the golem was able to fly x)
As others said, what magic does is a bit unclear, and, for me, at some point, it was just not possible to walk anymore, there was too much bullets, and no way for me to counteract them.
The game is really pretty though, and the music is well done! Too bad the loop is not done on the music though.
Great entry overall!
Great game! Really liked the concept, it was a creative idea! I think the main issue I had though was that I quite often couldn't do much. I had to wait for the options to load so I could get another body part, but as I waited, the golem lost even more body parts. It would have been nice if there was a way to either fight back against the projectiles, or maybe be able to do something to make the options load faster? Nevertheless, I liked this game! The graphics and music were really well made, and as I mentioned before, I really like the concept! Well done!
Creative take on the theme. The visuals look extremely nice and the music was also very good (it just wasn't looping very smoothly). I think in the beginning a quick tutorial would be nice to explain what the spells do and that you can build the giant any way you want. Some more SFX would be nice, for instance one for part of the giant falling off and one for it being completely destroyed.
A fun game with good execution. Reminds me of JoJo part 5 where you just keep creating spare parts of the golem and replace the broken parts.
Fun game with an original idea, I like the concept of managing a stone golem. It can be quite frustrating when you have to wait the cooldown of the portal spell to have a new piece. Nonetheless good job with this one !
Excellent work by the artists.
