First I want to apology because I didn't play your game whilst I explicitly said I would.

Well, anyway, about the game: after reading your posts during the jam on your game and how you felt, I didn't expect seeing something finished. The game feels quite polished in my opinion. There are some interesting gameplay mechanics and the game is fun.

The collisions are a bit wacky sometimes, but that doesn't break the experience. The sounds are fun, but the problem with mouth sounds is that it's quickly annoying x)

If I can add a comment on your little readme file, I think you should have added the content of this file on your game's page. It is kind of a convention I think, since most of us don't have time to do a proper tutorial, the controls are visible right above download links, it's more convenient.

Well, anyway, you did a pretty great job on this! And sorry again for the time I took to play your game 😬

Creative concept! I laughed when I saw that the golem was able to fly x)

As others said, what magic does is a bit unclear, and, for me, at some point, it was just not possible to walk anymore, there was too much bullets, and no way for me to counteract them.

The game is really pretty though, and the music is well done! Too bad the loop is not done on the music though.

At first, I tried to think whether I needed this or that building, but I finally just kept throwing the available buildings.

The UX was really well done. I think it is intentional to make the controls a bit harsh so that it adds more chaos. Great entry overall!

For the next time, think to separate each OS build into separate download files, because people do not especially want to download 500 MB and get versions they don't need. It's not a big issue, but it's important to remember I think.

Other than that the game is cool. The concept is interesting too. At first I didn't understand that I needed to make the squares fall to get points so I was just staying at the center ahah x)

To add more chaos into the game, you may want to add more spawn positions for the squares. I understand you did not make a fully random position, otherwise the square would fall by themselves, but maybe a little more random would be great.

The music is hectic and the mood is really well done. The visual effects are really impressive too!

Woaw... I felt so dumb being stuck on level 2 x) I think it's a bit of a design flaw though. The mechanics were not introduced at the right pace. At first I didn't understand that the shoot made one damage on one side and two on the other.

Other than that, I really liked the puzzle, it was really interesting to think like that, I don't know why it was hard to get the hang of the mechanics, and I think that is what it takes to make a good puzzle game.

The game felt really polished and the simple art was helping concentrating on the resolution of the problem. I feel like too much things everywhere would have make things a bit worse.

It's a solid entry! Great work!

I think it lacks a bit of polishing (some of the commands seems not to work, and the space bar and arrows thing lacks something like a progress bar or a counter), but other than that it's fun! The art is simple but it's ok in my opinion and the music and sounds work well.

Great concept!

The fading bug confused me a bit, but other than that the game feels polished. Lacks some feedback sounds though, especially when the bomb explode (a gentle fading is a bit odd x) ).

Other than that, the art is great, the core mechanic clever and the game could easily be expanded with more features, more wires to turn around, etc. I really feel like it could make something in the same fashion as Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes.

It's a shame I didn't get my certificate though...

Controls felt a bit harsh, and the excessive difficulty was a bit surprising. Before seeing the third level, I was a bit frustrated not to be able to regenerate my life. I was thinking I was missing something.

The concept is fun, the ragdolls fun to see becoming chaotic and the music is well done. The mood is definitely a strong point of the game.

The game in itself is a little bit too chaotic. The controls not very much responsive. I felt like I wasn't controlling anything in fact x)

All in all, pretty solid entry!

Really great! I loved the mood and the music! The walking animation was fun ahah, it seems like the characters swings only one leg to move x) Other than the the art is neat, simple but works really well I think. The mechanics are good too.

My only complaint would be that it is a bit counter intuitive to have a jump command on a top down game like that. I kept forgetting that it was possible on the two first levels. But that's quite a minor issue though.

It's cool but as other already mentioned only the jump is really useful. I tried to get fancy by using horizontal movement, but it doesn't seem to change a lot of things. Progressive difficulty should also make the experience more interesting on long runs.

Other than that, the graphics are solid. The parallaxe is a great touch (maybe the trees move too much, but that's okay). Great point on the sounds. Maybe the music could have been a bit more complex, but that's okay as it is for a game jam I think.

The game is fun! The difficulty is well balanced, until there is like 15 connections to add at the same time x) There should not be more connection requests than possible to do at the same time. Plus, I did not really understand why, but at some point every request was progressing at the same rate, from the same point. Does that mean the game was actually expecting me to make all these connections at once?

Well, anyway, it seems more like a bug than a feature so that's not really a big deal I think. The other thing is about the pegs, I find that their movement in relation to the cursor is a bit odd.

But other than that, the game was fun, the mood you tried to add is well done, the music does its job. Great game overall! 👏

The idea is really interesting and the gameplay works well. I think you could add a progress bar, or an animation, something to tell the player the progression of the charge. Also, at first, I thought the red platforms would kill me, maybe choose another color so that it's not confusing x)

Other than that, it was fun! It took me not too long to get the hang of it and after that it was consistent and I was able to do what I wanted. So it's pretty solid!

Really like the aesthetic! The gameplay is hectic and it's really really solid!

The only thing I could say is that the water tank is too versatile. At the end of the game, is a bit too difficult when the light turns off. The thing is too unstable and the time you take to turn back on the lamp can make you loose, even though it's at the perfect center before going to the switch.

Anyway, besides this issue, the game is really great and the sounds are really contributing to the mood of the game. I really liked it! 👏

The concept is really cool but I think it horribly lacks sounds or just feedback in fact. It's so difficult to know you are doing something right or if you get hit. There is no way to really appreciate what you are doing in the game. The issue is quite big, but the game is still playable and enjoyable. The mechanics are well implemented and the ideas in there is well balanced. It's not too hard nor too easy, it's perfect!

The idea fits the theme quite well, but it's a bit frustrating to play x) Maybe if you let the player had a little bit of control, it would feel better? I mean, the best way to win is to aim and launch the fireballs right after or else we get hit by the ennemies, so we can't wait to aim accurately. Plus, the targets can get away from the screen, so keeping the wizard aiming longer is not really useful.

Other than that, it's quite satisfying to fire all those fireballs at once and to kill groups of ennemies like that ahah x) The graphics are simple but works well (maybe a bit more animations would have been perfect though, but the art style is great)

If I may have something to say is that if you stay in the left corner (and maybe right as well) it's really easy to survive indefinitely. Plus, the difficulty doesn't raise. The solution would be that instead of making the atoms fall in three separate lines you could make this a bit more random. Why not make the atoms have more electron as time passes too?

Good game. Reminds me of Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes or the game where you have multiple buttons and the guy tells you not to touch anything. It feels like you wanted to create the same kind of vibes here.

This entry is really solid. You made a complete tutorial, there is several features. It's really great! The only negative point, as other already mentioned is that it is too slow. 5 minutes is really really long, especially in the first level where there is not much to do.

Plus there is a bug in your time counter. It goes from XX:11 to XX:010 x) Minor issue, but maybe you didn't see it.

I liked the game, but maybe you would have liked to make it a bit more hectic? Maybe less plates, but more speed to switch from one plate to another like crazy. Maybe make the plates more threatening. Something like that. Also, in a game like that, it's more satisfying to have points just when being alive than getting points by doing an action I think.

I think there is an algorithm. I stopped playing because of a mistake I did. The concept is interesting, but it's a bit repetitive after a while x) As 2048 is repetitive you understand. The only thing is that it's not as satisfying as 2048 because the numbers don't grow exponentially.

The thing I could say is that maybe you should add a sound effect when the sparks appears, it's a bit difficult to look at the letters on the keyboards, the ones on the screen, and take care of the new ones at the same time as being sure that we are not overcharging the one we are already taking care of. Just a sound effect would be perfect.

Maybe make the difficulty curve increase a bit more faster.

Cool game! The controls are a little bit weird, I mean with the mouth it doesn't point at the right place, but otherwise it's a pretty simple but effective game! The music is cool too so that's a nice point.

I did not have the problem with Norton, but it's likely that you may have, when you exported the game, selected an option to embed the assets? So that the executable is no longer known by antiviruses like Norton. If not, I don't really know much more, I'm sorry x)

I think the first thing I could say is that hearts should be on the road instead of being dropped by the truck we follow. It is really hard to get the hearts while playing. Also I think you should make the dezoom a little bit less aggressive since we stop and start the car pretty often x)

Othe than that the game is cool! It was fun and seeing all the crashes is quite fun ahah x) The physics of the car is a bit wacky, but it's totally fine for a game jam.

Great! The idea is great and challenging, trying to check for two things at once is quite fun!

I may have wanted to display, somewhere maybe near the player, an icon or something to know we grabbed something (also E is a bad choice of key when A and D are used that much, not really ergonomic). Plus, sometimes the bars did not reach the far left side of their platform but I still got a gameover. It seemed a bit off.

I love to see NES games made, I'd really like to make one one day, just to see how it works x) I played a game (Exapunks) in which there was a minigame, they then actually printed copies of the same minigame for NES consoles x)

Just one thing: the sound when a letter appears is awful, like, I don't know if it's just me (probably), but it explodes my ears. I don't know how to describe the sensation, but well you get the idea.

Other than that it was really great, confusing in the controls as you wanted this to be I think x) The only thing you could have changed I think is the X key. It was really odd to put such a common action on this key.

Finally, it was great to have such a long dialogue. It was not boring or anything ^^

Really good game! The feeling is really good on this one!

The only two things You could have change: - Do not trigger gameover the instant a guy lands on the last plateform. It happened that I clicked on the button the same frame an enemy landed on this last plateform, managed to knock him off, but still got a gameover. A bit unfair I think x) - And maybe add some indications when you have to click on the screen to trigger the meteor

Other than that, the game is very good! It looks good, the sounds and musics are really well done, it feels like you did a lot for only 48h hours. It is very polished!

7341 in hard mode. The end game was so intense x) I was distracted by the blue word that didn't came over the white word when the whole sentence was one two separate lines x) I was not sure I was typing the correct thing x)

I really loved that the music intensifies with the difficulty of the game, and that was pretty fun to hear twentythree consecutive sploshes ahah x)

Really fun and the difficulty curve is really smooth too, the player has time to get in the game.

Cool game... But... Yeah, I already played this game. You said that yourself, it is a clone of Super Crate Box. You just added one feature, the rest is exactly the same as this game. The thing is that someone who makes a clone of pong, space invaders or tetris for exemple make something different with the concept (or not, but in this case, the game has no interest) to fit with their way to see their game, and to do not steal an idea that is not theirs. But in your case... You respected the theme, but the rest of the gameplay is not by you. I am quite embarrassed... The game is well reproduced, and that is a good point for only 48 hours... But you get my point of view. That is not really YOUR game. You didn't make something unique with the gameplay of Super Crate Box. And more of that, you could make something different with weapons, or something, make a different kind of map. Or even change the way the ennemies looks like...

So I salute the hard work to reproduce the game in 48 hours. Keep coding.

Nice little game but I think the concept take too much time to set up. I played like 5 or 6 waves before having too much weapon/amunition. Plus, I lost too much hp because I haven't other choice than jump on zombies.

Nontheless, I really like the way the player jumps. There is also a decent music, so that's ok.

Interesting concept, but it is too hard to progress for some reasons : firstly because there is a time counter, secundly because it is hard to see something clear with this jumping screen and thirdly because there is an annoying bug : the amount of money we have in the shop is not the real one, this counter does not low when buying something.

Nice entry ! I really like rogue lites ! But I think this one is too easy ^^ And the "clicker" side is not really developped, that is too bad. But anyway, if you continue to develop the game (with or without the clicker side, obviously it was because of the theme I said that) it could be really fun, and really "athmospheric".

I really liked the athmosphere of the game ! But the game is too "driven" in the fact that there is too many anemies to kill them all and to survive more than a certain number of kills, it not actually require skill. Nice work ! I have some things to say though : I think the enemies could not be able to jump when the player jump because, otherwise, it is impossible to escape from them ; secondly, you should add a tutorial because I did not expect that I was able to go through certain platforms and finally, I think you should explain that we have to search for the colored notes.

The music is cool, maybe a little too repetitive. Maybe you should make something like when we attack, an other instrument play the melody, or add something to the music, it could be awesome I think. The graphism is polished, but I was just surprised by the "in air" position x)

And the only level you made shos the fun of what your game can be ^^ I played five time to this level, I loved the music, I really enjoyed the concept, I really liked the art. I just think you can upgrades things like add texts when we do a correct thing, like "PERFECT !", "Meh ..." and these kinds of stuff. Also maybe make the fact that we have a time to begin our action clearer, I did not understand (because I do not saw it) that I have to clic on a button when "GO !" appears.

Despite that, the game is really well made ! Congrats ! And keep coding :)

Cool game at the first sight, but this is quite short, don't you think ? You wanted to make something beautiful (and you managed to) but the game is quite short and as soon as we understand the game, that is finished. I know it is a Ludum Dare, but you have to make priorities I think. There are also some things odd, like the turrets : the first time I died, I did not understand why, and moreover, I do not understand where those turrets shoot. I think also that the player moves too fast.

But the art is good, the music too, and the level design was thought a little, it can be felt.

Some points are to be thought again, but in overall, that is a cool piece ^^ Keep coding :)

Cool art, but no music, that is too bad :/ Cool concept, but I think it is too hard for some reasons : too many enemies at the same place, too many hp for these enemies, the range of the attacks is too small I think, it lacks animations also and it is not really possible to know in advence what enemies drops what with a weapon or an other one.

The game has a really good potential, but I think you lost yourself on details maybe. Keep coding :)

Soooo ... How can I say that ? ^^ I thought at the first time that the weapon on the ground was a wall, or an obstacle ^^' Maybe I am tired, but you should make it clearer I think ^^ And, badly, the gameplay is too poor to make the game interesting to play : just stand up in front of an enemy and shoot/reload while anyone is dead. Also, the tutorial is skipped too quickly, I was just beginning to read the text that it desappears :/ (it can be the gamejolt player which is buggy, it was already the case with an other game). So maybe I missed some points, and if it is the case, I am sorry.

You made a music though, and I really appreciate that ! A lot of jammer think that no music is ok, but no, that is not "ok" x))

The game is really good, and I was waiting for the first card game I will test for this Ludum Dare ! And this is your game, so that's cool ^^ I would really enjoyed to play more, but the game seems to be buggy :/ When I get damage to my castle, I could not do anything anymore ... The cards did not come back in my hands and I have to rexecute the game, to have the same problem ... That is too bad :(

Afterall, I can say that is a really great idea, the music and sounds are really cool and you made something quite smooth :)

Really cool concept ! I have some things to say though. First of all, the randomness of the ball when you play with arkanoid and pong is awful and make the game unfair and the theme is not totally respected in my point of view because that is a tactical rpg, but for attacking, we have mini-games, so you combined trpg and mini-games, and mini-games are compatible is almost all the other genre I think.

Stop with the negative points ! Your game is really well executed, the mini-games are also well made ! At the beginning, I found pacman too hard to play, but it is quite good afterall ! Also, the art works well.

But the music ... the music is too cool ^^ I was believing I'm in the final dramatic fight ! Well done ^^

Really cool game. The first thing I noticed is that the music is really cool ! But when I saw that this is an other guy who made it, I was a little disapointed. You may know that in compo, you can't do you game with an other person. You had the goodness to not let us note yourself on the audio point, but yeah, that is a negative point I think. Otherwise, the gameplay is really cool ! I do not know if that is volunteer, but the fact that the ennemies can shoot when you shot for your second action is quite a good idea. So that is a turn-by-turn based game, with a hint of "reactivity actions" we have to do. Really cool ! I will not extend myself on the graphism part. At least we understand all the things there are one the screen. So, overall good entry ! Keep coding :)

First enourmous thing : the controls are too rough ! (I precise that I played the oldest version) The rotation takes too much time and the player goes too fast. Hum ... Too much fires ... That is too difficult to win the game badly. I think for a first jam that is really great (and compared to other first-time LD, you made a music ! Not everyone do that !). But for the next one, try to make something not too difficult for bad reasons like randomness. You can make, for exemple, something needing skills (with a crescent difficulty, of course - at least a tutorial), or a puzzle game (that is always attracting to try to beat a game like that I think ^^'). But if you want to make a tycoon game (like that in some points), think that it should be easy to learn AND not too bad random if there is no good random.

Hope I was clear ^^' But you can be proud of you ! I am always a little too negative, but that is a really good beggining ;) Keep coding !

Cool mechanics, but the player goes too fast ... And on certain walls, he falls quicker, so that is quite weird ... But despite that, it is quite entertaining ! It lacks musics nonetheless. Moreover, when diying, why does not reset the timer ? Because if I start with 40 seconds for exemple, and then I die 10 seconds after, I just have 30 seconds to finish the level, then the game should be slower, and that is not the case, so it is useless to does not reset the timer. Plus, it is soooo useless to have more than 40 seconds, because I think you wanted to do a game where the player have to be quick and accurate.

Your game is cool nonetheless, for exemple, you added a kind of boost jump that is cool when achieving using it (maybe could you go further by making levels with passage where you just have to use this gameplay ?), and a edge catching that is well done too !

Cool little game, but first I thought that I had to go to the extrem right of the cemetery, so I dodged all the zombies x) So I found a bug : when you get out of the screen by the right side of the level, you are stuck ^^' Once I understood what I was supposed to do, I enjoyed the game :) I particulary liked the final bosses ! (because I think you know that the phase with the zombies is not hard at all)

Nice game. But I have definitly a problem with the tutorial in the description page (just make a screen of the instructions in the game could be better), but anyway, you had 48 hours. There are no musics, that a bad point at my sight. The art makes me think to Pronject Zomboid, that's a good point x) But the gameplay is not very well executed, I think you could make the player able to avoid zombies, walk faster, etc ... Really cool game !

It relaxed me x) I really like the music. That was not too difficult, not too easy.

I just have to point out the bugs of collision, but this is acceptable for a jam entry x)

I repeat what I was just saying : really nice entry ! Keep work on it, it can be a bigger game I think :)

Good game but it lacks sounds/musics, animations are not so good, it lacks actions too (only death action is not a good idea :/).

However, I salute the effort invested in the AI. This is quite difficult to make something that works, so, just for that, congratulation !

The idea is really cool ! If you make what you want to, I think the game can be really, really good ! Keep coding and do not give up ! :)

Graphics are simple but really nice ! Too bad that there is juste the tutorial x) I really like the music. The idea you had is really good, but we do not see the link (for now) with the theme.

I did not manage to go after ACT VII but this is an overall cool game. The music is a little bit too repetitive and I do not see the link with the theme though.

Cool game ! I do not really like search-based game, but I confess that the music is quite cool, we see that you gave importance to the environment. I think you could make different sounds for each ground we can walking on though, because taht is a little weird that, when we walk on wood platforms, our steps sounds like gravel/earth biting x) Continue working on games :)

D'ailleurs, si vous voulez faire un .exe avec votre .jar, ce qui éviterait de devoir dire aux gens comment faire pour l'exécuter, vous pouvez utiliser Launch4j. Le logiciel est assez simple d'utilisation. Ceci dit, ça ne fonctionnera que pour windows, mais c'est déjà ça. Des équivalents doivent exister pour Mac et Linux.

There are two "negative" points. The first one is that I did not expect this game when I read the title. I think you could make a game a little bit different that real fighting game.

Even if it's your first game, I have to do an objective review. Your game is not really playable, the controls are pretty ankward and I don't understood what to do. How can I shoot ennemies ? A tutorial could have been appreciable.
A very important point is the sound. Even if you just have crappy sounds, put sounds in the game. Moreover, you can use generators like SFRX for sounds and fakemusicgenerator for musics.
Finally, make a better GUI. I don't understand why

The concept is interesting, but there are some points that make the game note very playable.
First of all, sounds. Just put sounds in the game, even if crapy sounds, but sounds.
It is a good point that you made a cinematic before the game, but when you do that, think to do a system to skip the scene, even more if, when the player die, he have to restart the game.
Finally, the game is hard. First, because the controls are ankwards (they are not well explained) and, secondly, because there are too much ennemies in the first levels.

Cool relaxing game :) The music is cool and the art too. I am not sure about that, but I think the speed is increase according to the distance. If it is not the case, it can be interesting to implement this feature. Also, I think the bombs are always at the same position when we are at its distance from the beginning. It can be interesting to change that. Maybe can you implements the ability to bend down and a tile where you have to bend down.

The mecanic is cool but the I don't like the level design, I don't manage to walk without be hit. Some of the "ennemies" are buggy like the black holes. The archerers shot to quickly in my opinion, mostly in the first level. The background have some imperfections like some pixels you forgot to erase. I think the fact that the player cannot walk and shoot in the same time is a bad idea.
Sometimes, we cannot jump, I think this is a bug.
Despite that your idea is good.

I really love this kind of game and you managed to make a good one. I encountered some bugs : water stoped in its course ; I can not place tiles in the bottom of the map, but this one, I think this is not a bug.
Also, you should make a canal that connects the up-left to the up-right. I did not see one of them.
