LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Unintended Acceleration by Martin Vilcans 2015-12-16T23:31:00

Great mood and feel of the car. =)
The level had me searching around, feeling there was more unique things to discover. Jumps, difficult hills, rough terrain and skyscrapers.
I didn't feel the car was unable to continue, when the "Wrecked" text came up. If the wheels fell off, I'd see why it was wrecked.

Growing Up by blurryroots 2015-12-16T20:57:00

Great mood and graphics! =P
I think when the lighting was from the avatar's back, I felt the avatar was powerful. but when the light was on its head or face, I felt the avatar was being acted upon. Like as if 'Now, the future is grabbing you.' and not the other way around.
Also I really liked Sandbox - Creativity and Slide - Excitement. That made "Life lessons" comedic. :p

SUPER PLANT FRENZY by Glint Games 2015-12-15T03:57:00

Cute artstyle :3
I quickly understood the green bar because of its words, but I needed to hypothesize to understand the two other bars.

I like how "the world ends" with you not being able to stop eating exponentially. =p

Grow with the Flow by jww608 2015-12-16T21:29:00

The menu system presents your game nicely. :P The volume slider and 'Test' button was blissful.

I didn't feel that the playing field complemented the music. Maybe me version of the game has errors?

Millenium Fist by AzureAspect 2015-12-16T22:29:00

When the button mashing started, the game sounded like thunder and an intense fight scene from an anime! xP

I really enjoyed that! =P
Somehow.

For me, the way new things were introduced, felt effortless. One thing entering my mind and leaving right before a new one arrives. This "curve of interest" was just good enough to put me in flow I think.

But clearly, I am in the minority.
I'm the kind of person who loves outlandishly glitchy things, and the graphics and personality of this game was just my cup of tea.

*sips tea with pinky*

Martin Vilcans: I have changed the download link for Linux. It includes an alternative version that I hope works for you. I barely have any experience with Linux, so I am crossing my fingers at this point.

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Piece of Paradise by afendar 2018-05-06T13:51:13Z

Nice walking animation. The hair wiggles! ^^ It would be great if the game had sound. I wasn't able to walk between trees that had a gap that looked big enough. That made my character feel bigger.

Clidger by Mathiouza 2018-04-23T15:07:29Z

The score goes up fast when upgrading the multiplier. :) It was surprisingly difficult to move out of the way with the arrow keys. It is an exercise of doing two different thins at once. ^^

Walking around took some time, so I started to try to remember large portions of text. Not word for word of course. ;) Doing that for engineering books on surface treatments would be excruciating. But after "badger-hair brushes" I got back to the first hallway. I was confused. There was nowhere else to go. But I saw through the wall that there was another passageway. So I ended the game there. I liked the placement of doors and texts. It was overwhelming at one point, but I got through it.

Nubes Pila by IDidGame 2018-04-24T11:28:20Z

The visuals and animation were nice. :) Controlling the ball was intricate. And managing it well was key to success. :) I felt this combat system was hard to master, but had nice depth.

BBall by carlosvVk 2018-05-06T16:15:25Z

Great feel of the motion! =) The jump paddle feels a bit random and needed my focus to respond well enough to. This might be intentional. Aiming became guesswork. :p This game felt very challenging, but fair. I wanted to 'git gud' at it. ^^ I tried 'jetpacking' which was different, but not less challenging. Very interesting genre combination!

YOU LEFT ME. by Angela He 2018-04-24T13:44:52Z

:astonished: The choice of music, visual art, flow of conversations. Genius. 🤲 Everything got me in the mood of being half asleep and fundamentally alone. In the waiting room, where the shadows cast are from masked people. When the doctor said: "It looks fine to me." "Half-functioning humans are cool too."

You seem to have an exceptional grasp of these valuable things. I am glad I got to experience that. :pensive: Please accept my donation. I want your work to stay. *Major creds to avogado6.*

Element Crush by vfqd 2018-05-06T14:59:56Z

Very interesting genre combination. :) And nice lighting from the fire. The match-3 part made it harder to place fire towers evenly. But it was a nice obstacle to overcome. :)

Flappy Blocks by Radical Dog 2018-04-23T12:24:16Z

I like the story a lot! :p The flapping not so much. ;)

ThinkFast! by ArmyAnts Studios 2018-04-23T20:55:07Z

Hi! At first I didn't know I had to use the arrow keys! It became much better when I knew that. :) You can explain the controls in the description. The movement of the car felt very nice. And the idea of improving the car through a quiz was interesting. I had to think of when to turn the car and when to do the quiz. I completed the race in 48 seconds. :)

Arcade Typing Shooter by Badical 2018-04-23T12:07:01Z

Nice sound effects. :p I liked the calm start, it game me time to understand what was going on. Then suddenly, the difficulty showed how much I should perform! :O Does it get harder forever? I felt I could stay alive (barely) by making a 'wall' of bullets. :j In the end I let myself lose, because it didn't seem like I was going to otherwise. 321 hits, 55 bonus, 460 shots I loved the overwhelming feeling of not having control over ALL THE LETTERS, but somehow staying alive. :P

Jet Boy by Harry Light 2018-04-23T12:52:23Z

Excellent feel of the controls, shooting and getting shot! xP Very hard, but doable if effort is spent. No confusion as to what controls to use or what to do. :) I got to the second patrolling roller bot.
