Very creative way to contribute to this amazing event. Thank you!
Very cool concept. I think it would have been useful to have a sell feature, to get rid of routes which are not as profitable.
I find the atmosphere, especially the sound effects and music to be very immersive. I like the simple yet satisfying mechanics. Very enjoyable!
I had a hard time identifying the planets i visited though, because the grey and transparent font is hard to read with such a dark background.
I like the concept and the art style, but it is pretty difficult. It seems already picked up shrunken portals do not respawn after you load from the checkpoint. This makes it neigh on impossible to progress very far.
I like the strange humour found in the descriptions =P Some sounds would have been nice.
Neat mechanics and an impressive network feature. Fun game.
Thank you all for your helpful feedback! We edited the description to give a more complete introduction on how to run and play the game.
@lytedev Thank you for your detailed comment. We might get the fail state fixed soon.
Oh my god, so many angles! Neat concept. I'm a big fan of turn based games. But in late game, it gets kind of tedious to cycle through all the units to find the one who is currently in battle or near an enemy. Nevertheless a fun game.
This is hilarious =P
Collect ALL THE PIGS !
I really dig the aesthetics of the undead world. The music distortion in the living world I though were very clever =P It is at times pretty difficult, and omg it took me quite some time to figure out, that you could do a double jump (should have read the entry description *facepalm*). Great team effort.
The puzzles are very well crafted. I like how you went with such a minimalistic look and fee, but gave it a lot of depth through its mechanics. I really liked it!
Challenging and fun. Cool background, looks like a strategic space map. I like the clean and minimalistic look in general. Some sound effects would have been nice though.
Challenging but fun. Good job!
It's so fun bumping into things, especially after upgrading your engine. Nice gamplay and funny physics.
I loved the music. I wish it would be a bit longer though =P Very solid mechanics. I feel kinda relaxed while playing this ;)
The visuals are hilarious. I like the fading of existence, very poetic ;) Fun game. The controls and collision detections are clunky though.
The menu music is just awesome. Interesting concept. Nice visuals and sound effects.
This not only looks pretty it has interesting story and dialogue as well. I love the hacking mechanics. A very creative way of telling a story. Looking forward for the whole experience in the post ludum dare version!
I really got sucked into this =P Very enjoyable concept and surprisingly complex. I like that you can work on a project together with your staff but i missed the feedback on how much buzz an individual story is generating and how the capabilities of you and your co-workers played into it.
Holy shit this rocks! Very cool graphics and animations. The sound effects pack a punch and the music is catchy. Although the connection to the theme is not entirely clear to me, I think you guys made a an awesome game.
The mechanics are simple yet enjoyable. It took me a while to figure out that you could issue multiple buy/fly/sell orders. What i didnt like was the fact, that if you issued buy orders, you had no clear visual feedback if you are overspending. All in all a neat game.
This is just all around great. I really liked the isometric view.
Interesting mixture of mechanics. Good job!
Fun to play. I like your take on consumerism =P
I very much enjoyed playing this game. The art style, mechanics and sound effects are very coherent. It feels complete. I would enjoy solving more puzzles in this universe!
Boy those pirates really know how to ruin your business! This sure is a hard game =P I like the catchy tunes. Nice game.
This is very confusing at first. You ask yourself, why is there such a depressing background music? But after you grappled a few planets and smashed them into each other possibly killing millions in an instant or getting pursuit by angry pilots who just got their home planet stolen it all makes sense =P Nice game.
The jumping needs a little getting used to, but i enjoyed playing it. The sound effect of burning bugs is just hilarious =P Good job.
Clever mechanics =P I really liked the tunes for both the over and underworld, very catchy. The rendering was a bit iffy causing the the tile graphics, especially the trees to flicker. But other than that, very enjoyable!
All hail the 3 eyed space pigs!
I really liked the graphic style, but felt a bit lost concerning the mechanics.
I really like the style and atmosphere this game creates. The mechanics are solid and fun although i have to say, the difficulty is pretty hight. At least for me it is.
Fun game. The perspective effect on the spaceship is very creative and I like the little references you put into the briefing texts. Good job.
The link seems to be broken ;(
I like the concept of showing the player how everything is interconnected and tipping the balance in favour of someone might bring disadvantages for another one. The mechanics are also solid and help convey the message. What I didn't like was the prospect, that equilibrium will never be achievable. But I guess that's kind of a world view thing. Also kudos for choosing such a controversial topic =P
Very weird experience :O But by glancing at your code base, I guess you actually planned for something more than this. But at least it's something playable ;)
What a trip! I liked the visuals and the music. The controls needed a bit of getting used, especially the jumping.
The gameplay is just brilliant. And there are so many levels. This is plain awesomeness. Especially the movement. Half the time I found myself playing around with the movement and connection mechanics, instead of solving the puzzle =P I would have wished for a bit of sound tough. And maybe the possibility to restart a level, if it is obvious that you messed it up. But other than that, 5/5 obviously!
Got it to run with wine =P Large download I have to say. The story seems interesting, but unfortunately I didn't get very far. This genre isn't all that appealing to me. But it sure looks like a lot of though and work went into this.
I like the minimalistic mechanics. Just punch a bunch of robots who dare to cross my road =P
Your source is also very consice and focues. I like how you defined your map =P If you place some roads in the middle of the play field, the will just stop moving. I guess they are happy to finally have some piece of road for themselves =P
I got now data folder when downloading the linux version :(
This is intense =P I like how fast paced yet complex it is. Great game.
Thematic, atmospheric and interesting mechanics.
Funny theme. The first level was surprisingly hard in comparison to level 2 & 3 and the jumping needed a little getting used to. But after that I played through it twice =P
PS.: I think you could have reduced the size of the download, by clearing out some files.
Very focused. Enjoyed it.
Cute and funny, i enjoyed playing it =)
Hey this looks interesting. Is there any chance for a linux release?
Unbelievable you did this in 48h! This visuals are amazing and the mechanics are so well executed and satisfying. But most of all the sound effects, awesome! It is fascinating how you manage to create such tension and atmosphere. Definitely 5 out of 5 in every aspect.
Lovecraftian gods and killer robots. Thats all i wish for in an adventure game! Nice little story i very much enjoyed this.
I was surprised by the story. The "What the ****" part made me giggle =P Neat concept. The controls are a little iffy but I definitely enjoyed playing it.
Fun mechanics and surprisingly complex (in a good way).
Couldn't stop playing ;) I love how they loose the grin if they get pooped on and the old lady is just adorable =D
Awesome visuals! I especially enjoyed the menu screen and the camera flying into the pyramid.
The atmosphere could have been a bit more spooky for my taste and its such a shame you guys haven't had the time to put in sounds.
But nevertheless great work! ;)
What a cool concept. It feels very polished. Played it quite a while. Awesome game ;)
Hard game ;) But if its not hard enough, try passing all the levels while not killing a single human! =P
Also, it looks hilarious when the already dead alien still hops on top of the heads of some humans!
I really like the topic ;) Great atmosphere and beautiful aesthetics. Also very enjoyable mechanics. All around just awesome. Would like to play more of that!
This game is fun, although pretty hard ;) I really liked the sound and music.
Really cool concept and creepy mood, especially the comments soldiers and civilians make. AI seems cleverly engineered although the weapons range sometimes felt grossly in favor of the hypnotized paramilitaries. Would have really like some background music ;)
Awesome intro! Really liked the atmosphere. Game is pretty hard though.
Awesome colors! It's fun dashing around and leaving behind this colored trail of ink when playing the krakens. Fun game ;)
Liked the atmosphere. I think the mechanics are simple but very well executed and enjoyable ;)
Very cool slowmo effect. Nice use of the theme. Although the twist is certainly not necessary considering the xenophobe outright genocidal behavior of the player character ;)
Feels very polished. Neat concept. Liked the shell look and feel.
Cool ending ;) Enjoyed the story.
It's just to much fun, converting all those humans into biomass ;) Great game, although a bit easy.
Cool mechanics. The face of a scared person is hilarious ;)
Nice work!
Cool physics ;) Cute little enemies. Almost felt bad crushing them into the ground =P
The growing effect of the trees looked amazing!
Creepy atmosphere. Had to giggle when i first pressed c as a monster ;)
This is so funny and creepy at the same time ;) Great work. Feels very polished.
What could one do with some new friends ;)
Fun game!
Very creepy atmosphere. I really liked your voice acting.
Great experience!
This is just hilariously evil!
Crazy cool soundtrack! Really loved it ;)
Amazing art work! I dig the candy theme ;)
Managed to get a server hosted. Unfortunately no one joined :/
Looking forward to try again, when you fixed the server issues.
Interesting spin on the theme. I can see why I would be considered a monster, after having stuffed a hole in the ships hull with 21 humans ;)
@WolkingW Thanks for the tip. I've apperantly uploaded just the readme without the game :O I reuploaded the zip ;)
This is amazingly trippy xD I also think you did a good job with the sound design, although I would have like for the sound when you collect a thing to be a bit more subtle.
Really liked the mood.
I really liked the cartoonish look but I had a had time figuring out what I'm supposed to do. Took me a couple of restarts xD After that I grew quite fond of the simplistic mechanics. Also I think the sound effects are a bit too loud.
Great entry anyways ;)
Wow I'am really fond of it's simplicity, especially the clever controls xD Graphics look also very clean and simple and I like the nice parallax effect in the background. The only thing that bothered me, was the sound effect when activating a jump gate. Too high of a pitch for my taste =P
Great entry ;)
Awesome game. Played for about an hour to completion. Wished it had some sound effects and a bit more feedback to what each building needs and does. But that's how it is in compo xD I really liked the effect when you clicked on a building and the little text popped up and faded away. Great entry ;9
I am genuinely confused xD
Interesting experience. Full of love mixed with a bit of melancholy. Felt very real. Great work. Thank you for sharing.
Feels amazingly polished! I liked the interface and the art style of the buildings. I would have wished for a bit more feedback when trying to build something and lacked the resources.
Neat game. Liked the world shifting mechanic.
Such a fun game ;) Shame you couldn't include sound effects and music though.
Awesome game. Very much enjoyed slurping up the whole city, muhahaha xD I think some ridiculous up-beat music would have complemented the gameplay, but other then that great entry ;)
Very charming and fun game. Liked your low poly aesthetic.
I have no idea what I just played, but I very well relate to the concept of everyone having his own demon. Thank you for this.
Great catchy music and I really enjoyed the clever rhythm based gameplay. Interesting topic as well. Very cool entry ;)
Controls felt very slick. I liked feeding my cells. Shame they all got infected. I think some downbeat background music would have really complemented the game but great work nonetheless ;)
Hard but fun. Feels very polished. Sometimes there was some sort of glitch though, where the ball got accelerated to ridiculous speeds for no apparent reason xD
Took me a while to identify the different types of buildings. I had fun playing this. Cool idea having to balance the ecosystem. And the little workers whizzing around had a real city building vibe. Great entry ;)
I didn't expect that, but very cool idea. Loved the atmosphere, especially the sound ;) Wasn't to fond of the controls for being born, but it did the job xD Would have liked to see what you had in mind for the later stages.
This was quite an experience. Very touching. Amazing how you managed to be so clever with the controls and even communicate through the game mechanics. Thank you for this ;)
Very cool clay graphics. Interesting questions. I died in war :/
I liked the surreal art style, especially the low poly stuff. Interesting narrative as well. I feel the avatar could have moved a bit quicker, but other than that great entry ;)
Intense and disturbing. I loved the effects and makeup. The whole experience felt pretty immersive. Very different from the stuff you would normally find here but cool nonetheless ;) But I think in order to progress I didn't really have had much of a choice.
I think you managed to come up with a simple concept and execute it very well. I liked how you explained the controls in a visual style. Great entry ;)
Amazing atmosphere and cool surreal art style. Serene and mysterious, greatly matched by the soundtrack. Very enjoyable experience. I would have liked, if the energy balls find their way back to you after completing a task.
Clever storytelling. Really liked the idea of being more left or right brainy xD
