Lovely game. I love the muffin-gun :D
Very well executed and quite innovative.
This is a really awsome game. Nice work!
This is awesome. Love it. My favorite so far. Very well executed!
Nice game. However, you can circumvent the whole gameplay, by losing your package at the beginning and just running to the end. The ending doesn't require you to have the package with you. Maybe you should fix that.
Really cool idea! First coin I was like "What? Is that all?" Then I got it and I had top play till the end because I wanted to know where this will end.
One thing though: the jumping is kind of too floaty. But the concept is great.
You can go pass the boulder. You just need to attack the first skeleton right before it turns at the ledge and then jump directly to the second skeleton to stab it from behind. This way you outrun the boulder. But you have to close the first gate in order to be safe while opening the second one.
I liked the idea with gettig only one match for the level. However, not landing in a pool of acid was very hard even when being able to see something.
Oh now I got it :D
I didn't rate your game until now, because I didn't understand what's going on. But now I understand it, and it's a pretty cool idea.
So you need to add numbers by starting at an operator and dragging your term across the field (like in Wurdle). The result appears at your starting position and new values/opoerators fall from the top. I like that :) This is actually a good game for mobile devices.
Suggestion: you could limit the number of turns to add an chalange or add a time limit.
Gorgeous visuals and audio. Your game is really strong when it comes to atmosphere and mood. For my taste, I'm missing some more interaction. But still it's one of the better (or best) games I've seen this LD so far.
Wonderful graphics. This is the prettiest LD game I've seen so far. The gameplay with the oxygen tube and the rewind function is also really cool.
This is an overall great game entry. You have my respect, sirs. Best thing I've seen this LD so far.
I like the mood and your take on the theme. The introduction letter made me chuckle :)
Also, nice graphics and audio.
It was hard to find out how to play. Also, the log to the bottom right has a way too small font and is hard to read. Since it's introduced as very important it should be more prominent.
@rylgh: In fact, the startegy part you're addressing was the the part I was struggling with the most during development. At the beginning, either you could build temples ad infinitum and no tide could stop you from growing all over the place or all your attempts to go past two temples would be continuously crushed by incoming waves. So there was some balancing there. The main choices you make in this game are supposed to be how to distribute your build actions, whether or not to build a totem (i.e. convert a high value 3 story temple to a blocking tile) and so forth. I admit there need to be some additional elements to make the gameplay really interesting in terms of strategy. Right now it's just a minimal core of a puzzle game, I guess.
Nice sprites. The mole gets stuck in the air or at walls quite often, which might become annoying sometimes.
Quite a good game. Good atmosphere and music. Only thing I'd complain about is the jump mechanic which felt a bit restricting because you cannot contol your jump height.
That's a nice one. Really innovative concept. Good job!
The narration made me play the whole thing and it really fits the whole atmosphere. The animations are pretty good, too. Nice work!
Nice concept. I like how the length of the torch indicates the remaining time. A thing that bothered me was that every click/stap stacks and blocks me from further interactions.
That's a really great entry. Challenging and well crafted. you really have to kind of switch your brain to get past some levels. I also like the look.
The cannons seem not to hit under certain circumstances even if the enemy unit is standing still. And the enemies are spawning in the middle of the base which is a bit confusing.
Gorgeous game. Very contemplative and nice mood. Good work!
Really nice work. You improve with each game :)
Nice idea, using the flags for orientation. Quite good mood and relaxig concept.
Really good graphics and animation. Music is quite good, too. Well done :)
I like the minimalistic presentation, looks polished.
Nice art style. Well executed! Controls are a bit fiddly on QWERTZ-Keyboards ;)
I really dig this game! Gorgeous graphics and very fun board game mechanics. Exellent work!
Thanks for all that awsome feedback, guys. We had a lot of more in mind while making this game: luring crewmen into rooms, more responsive AI, crewmen assigning tasks to the computer and so forth. But you know, time was fleeting. We hope we'll pick it up again and elaporate on the idea. Every feedback and criticism is welcome.
Good take on the theme! The two character mechanic is fun but the movement is way to floaty.
Overall a very well made horror game! Got scared several times. It has its minor technical flaws, but I would attribute that to the short time period you had to finish it. There is a lot of content in there! I really like the avatar and the GUI graphics. Audio is very appealing, too.
Nice minimalistic game. I find the dynamic environment very innovative. Nice work!
The ladder management part is quite good. The controls are a bit fiddly. You can't leave the ladder when you reached the top without releasing the Up-Key.
The best presentation I saw so far this LD. Great graphics and awsome music. I Like the flying mecha-snake and the setting. Gamplay-wise it could use some work, but damn it looks and sounds fantastic.
This game looks gorgeous. I love the idea of being the operator inside of a giant cannon. But it misses to show the effects of the players actions. You don't see the gun being fired and that's a bit disappointing. Ever heard of Chekhov's gun? ;)
This is great! I had a blast :D
Nicely executed. Really gorgeous and juicy animations. And the platforming is challenging as well. I like the high jump with the squeeze animation and sound :)
Cute game with nice presentation. I like the gem throwing idea. Freezing the water with the blue gem felt really inventive.
Although, the aiming was a bit of a hassle and the movement is a tiny bit clunky. I got stuck in the boss room several times because the platforms seem to overlap and their collision areas can catch you.
I agree, there isn't much 'game' in this piece. I had a lot of ideas for puzzles and machanics, but I got short on time and had to cut everything out... the mood is what left behind. Sad story.
Great design. The ion cannon is really satisfying to use. I also like the music and the pixelated 3D-shaded look. Well done!
Interesting game with a lot of potential. The general mechanics are cool but some levels seemed a bit arbitrarily designed. The warp effect was very interesting. But the solution to the totaly warped stage was more trial and error. Overall, good job.
This is fun! I don't get how to win, or how the damage between cars is done (I guess hitting with the front does damage to the opponent) but it's fun to find out. Nice effects and hilariously chaotic.
This is a quite good game you made there. Goog puzzle mechanics, interesting level design. I like it! A solid game :)
Nice graphics. The control scheme is a bit difficult because the isometric view makes arrow keys ambiguous.
I liked how the trolls turned to stone on daybreak :)
Interesting idea and funny ironic setting :D
So the health bar is just to remind the players that i this is a beat-em-up but it's all built you have a one-hit-one-kill blow. Nice graphics and Music.
Nice idea. But the controls are way too floaty and the camera sometimes doesn't follow to show critical parts of the level.
omg voxels! I absolutely want to play this, but it crashes with error message from my NVidia card upon loading :(
Same here, controls don't seem to work :(
The music is great, though!
Wow, this guy i really drunk :D
Gorgeous pixel art! I really like these characters. Audio is great, too!
This is so beautiful and the sound is amazing, too. I blew me away.
I love the art style and the level design with the shifting walls. Very well done!
Thoughtful :)
@kleinzach thanks! I'll try to fix that asap
ok, the blocking keyboard glitch should be fixed. Just uploaded the new files.
Ok, did some further fixes. Hope the problems with getting stuck at interactable points are fixes now. If it's still buggy please let me know. Thank you all for reporting :)
This is great! I love it :D
This is brilliant! My absolute favourite of all LD37 entries so far!
This game looks beautifull. It feels really polished. I love the reduced color palette and all the smooth dithering going on. Well done!
The controls are hard to grasp initially. I'd prefer more direct control over the character. But overall it's a fun game with a catchy tune ;)
A nice looking game. The whales don't seem to have an effect on the paper ship, though.
This looks gorgeous! A bit more work on the controls and the mechanics and you have quite a polished little piece here. Good work!
Half of my life ;)
