A sure way to destroy your fear of spiders. Sign me up.
It was quite hard to figure out level 3, but after clicking around for a bit, I managed to complete it!
It is nice and homey, as if I was talking with my younger self about archaeology!
Kind of dark humor, but theres nothing wrong with that.
It did bug out the first time I ran it, where it wouldnt stop "cleaning" the slates. Maybe its an idea to put in a button that you need to press to clean the top layer off.
I loved the whole scratch-off-surface though!
My PC is a bit too slow to run this game smoothly it seems, but when it didnt lag up, the game was crazy cool!
I really like the simple controls, even my grandmother could play a game like this.
This was quite an odd one.
I love the strange artwork and the simple gameplay, it was a lot more than I expected at first glance!
I had the same problem as Neekobus, I can't find a pick that gives me the upgrade required to dig through the ice after the polarbeardog.
Did you run out of time?
The graphics itself look adorable and bright, just the way I like it.
As a critique I might have to say that it is too hard to fail, though for a first level that might be a good thing.
I had to work pretty hard to go game-over, and then I only managed to do that once I learned the layout of the level.
Now this is a nice find!
the controls are simple and sweet, Its pretty cool that you managed to cram out so many levels with just one mechanic, without making it boring
I can dig it!
its a nice and simple digging system with a greatly satisfying flow of coins sliding towards the cursor.
If it could be expanded on a little more, do it!
I can imagine there might be mobs spawning somewhere that can attack your HUB, so you have to multitask and assign different kinds of workers to different kinds of tasks.
I have the feeling that I had to click on the icecubes instead of the fish, so that caught me off guard the first few tries.
I never did beat them, I killed 71 at most!
However, the idea is nice and simple :D
Nice mood and simple gameplay!
I did die a few times too many because I was evading a mine, or trying to catch a treasure and then running into another mine with my tail.
So yea, maybe getting a better indication where they are on the vertical level might fix that problem
Hot damn, teach me how you got the shading so nicely over the pixelart. Did you use planes and normal maps?
Either way, it took some time to get used to the controls and there wasnt a real indication that i was doing it right.
I think there were "enemy" robots charging at me at some point, but those could also just be the car-like things that lay on top of the temples.
Pretty cool tho!
Not too bad for your first try!
Next time though, if you cant make grapics for your game within the time, it might be an idea to put the text on the icons to show which element it represents.
Right now I got totally confused of which color was iron and what could be copper and tin, etc.
For those in the dark about why they die in the end, its because of the water pressure buildup.
you cannot expect to go on forever, do you?
So once you reach level 5, your health slowly counts down till you pass out.
Thank you all for the great feedback, I would love to hear what I could improve for the next time!
Oh nice, I unlocked 2 of the ends, not sure if there are any more.
The game is simple and sweet, but I did notice that I was only looking at the character itself while running the game. It kind of hurt my brain that he was that close to the left of the screen, so maybe it wouldnt hurt if you moved him a few more pixels to the right!
If I'd make a suggestion for an improvement, it would be a speed-up button that increases the game speed with factors 2 and 4, because ive had a few runs where i had to wait 3 minutes for all my evos to die while they were doing nothing (Bad evo settings on my par)
Also, make sure that the game runs when its not the active screen.
These types of games are ideal to have running in the background, just to see how far you can get while doing your other stuff.
I don't know about you guys, but this is the exact way how I deal with my stress and anxiety.
The gameplay reminded me quite of Binding of Isaac, but less frustrating to me. (Probably because the enemies are not trying to shoot me)
Even if most of this should have been Temp, it still plays nicely!
The metaphore hit me strong and hard.
I was unable to shake off the man, and when I succeeded, I got too thirsty
you have achieved quite a lot with a limited palette!
Due to the contrast, nothing gets too unclear and everything, as far as i saw, stayed nicely readable.
Looks and feels great!
this looks and feels great, but i had some difficulty getting to the winstates
Sorry folks, apparently I forgot about the http:// part.
Big mistake there, it should be fixed now
I like how the game progressively gets harder and complicated, the graphics are nice and the scientists are adorable!
Good job!
Ah, I think I understand what makes you the monster in here.
Nice and moody!
Aah it gets strangely addictive and challenging to avoid the bombs when the kaiju slides all the way up and down on one keypress, it becomes much more a test of skill and timing!
Nice work :D
I got 1947, but I am generally bad at making judgement calls!
It is nice and charming, good job!
It doesnt stop making faces at me.
