Cowmets by NickZangus 2017-04-27T20:23:37Z
Hi, I didn't have the time to make a complete tutorial, sorry. After you lasso the cowmet you have to chase it down until it stops (the lariat turns green). Thank you for the feedback!

@wareification thank you for the feedback! Have you tried to run the Linux build?
Wow! This game is awesome! Great graphics, simple gameplay but really fun! Good job!
Great graphics but no real gameplay. Anyway it has a good potential, keep up the good work!
Really nice game! Simple but fun... I think that, if you add local multiplayer, it can be a great party game!
Really challenging! Without audio it loses some points, but overall great entry!
Nice entry. Really challenging!
Nice entry! The web version begins to stutter after a few seconds, better to use the pc version. As others have said, the movement of the stars is a bit of a nuisance, I would suggest lowering the contrast to minimize this problem.
Great game! The planets faces animations are awesome! The only critique I can make is about the slide animation every time I repeat a level, maybe you can add a skip button to go directly to the right position.
This is just AMAZING! Best game so far... Congrats!
This game is really well made! I love the character design (especially for the main character). I think red blood cells would be more appropriate if less "polygonal". The effect used when enemies hit the heart is a bit too strong, but it definitely attracts the player attention! Amazing level of polish overall. Great entry!
Nice little game! The controls are a bit difficult to master. It would be really fun to play in local multiplayer!
Great graphics and mood! The difficulty raise very quickly (but I think it's normal for a ludum dare game in order to engage the player more rapidly). If you have intention to work on the game in the future, consider to add some kind of weapons or magic spell, it would be great!
Your art is amazing! Great puzzle game, really innovative. Good job!
I love this game! Little but great! Add a bit of sound/music and maybe add other sports (volleyball, basket, boxe) and it will be perfect! Must have: online multiplayer!
Really great game! The lighting is perfect and very atmospheric. The AI of the other fairies is well made, challenging but not frustrating (I've won the game at the second attempt). Good job!
Very nice! I think it would be more convenient to use the boost continuously, you could change the score in "boost seconds" instead of number of single uses. (p.s. It's a koala in the astronaut suit? :slight_smile:)
Great pixel art! I think you can improve it with an health indicator, the ability to crouch down and maybe some theme music (different for every country). p.s. Add Italy! :flag_it:
Hi @coauctor, thank you for your feedback! 1. Because I've tried to distance from the usual mechanics as much as possible. 2. During a Ludum dare event it's always difficult to calibrate the difficulty level of your game, In the future I will decrease the number of customers at the beginning of the game.
@jezzamon I forgot it, I'll do it now thanks! Sorry for the ad, I will remove it from the game page as long as voting is in progress (they are enabled by default).
Interesting graphics, but there is no game!
very funny game! a tutorial would have been useful, keep up the good work! I used the coffee-power idea too :)
Very athmospheric. The controls work well, perhaps I would decrease the distance of enemies attack.
Hi! Great graphics, but the game runs very slow on my PC, it is nearly unplayable.
very nice game and nice idea :)
I love this kind of game! Really fun, great job!
Nice entry! The controls are surprisingly functional, and the robot animations are great. It needs more polish especially on graphics and audio. Keep up the good work!
nice idea, but once you lose you can't restart the game, the button doesn't work.
the art is beautiful! the egame is a bit short, but with more time it can became a very good game.
Nice animations but limited gameplay, maybe you can add more controls (jump / block).
Fun and very nice art!!
Great game! The graphic is excellent and the steering mechanism very innovative. Great job!
This is madness... And I love it! Do you know what's missing? More cars!!!
Minimalistic art, but very well done! One only request: allow to kill the black birds with the bow! :grin:
Great game! Perfect art and level design.
p.s. We have implemented the same "pick and throw" mechanic! :grin:
The game title is perfect! :grin: Nice game!
Great concept, atmosphere, and interesting graphics. Like other say, the lack of music and sound effects heavily reduce the immersion in the game. Anyhow, great starting point, keep up the good work!
But the real question is: "Why there are some flying pints on this building roof?" :grin: Great game and great theme interpretation. Good job! (Best score: 50)
Great graphics and concept. I love the use of the "harvester" to clean up the way. I don't think that the music fits with the game.
Realy great game. Simple but fun. The graphics are perfect, as well as the atmosphere. Congratulations!
Interesting concept! Nice entry!
Nice little game! One thing: it's the tower of Pisa, but the background is Rome! (I'm from Italy :smile:)
Great graphics, simple gameplay but quite addictive. In my opinion, the music is too repetitive, but also well tailored to the game. Good job!
@cubeeo Thank you for telling me. When I've uploaded the other platforms I've uploaded a new build of the windows version, but I think that the new build has a bug that was absent before (even if I've not modified anything), I've uploaded the old one, could you please check if now it works? Thanks!
@bryceltaylor Hi! Thank you for telling me. I've uploaded a new MacOs version that should work. Let me know if you experience any other problem.
Great graphics and interesting gameplay! It's difficult to monitor every colonized planet at the same time (but I think that was intended to better follow the theme). Overall great entry!
Nice entry! Little but well done! Congratulations!
Great graphics and smooth gameplay. A bit too challenging for me, but overall it's very well made!
The final message should be "Congratulations! You have achieved ephaptic cirrhosis!". Nice little game, and a great interpretation of the theme. Great job!
Strange but intriguing... The kind of games that I love to see in a Ludum Dare... Great job!
Interesting concept, it's a pity that there is no sound effects and the graphics are a bit too simple. But the idea works. Nice puzzle/action game!
Great art style (reminds me Binding of Isaac) and immersive atmosphere. Maybe it misses a little more gameplay, but killing a planet is always satisfying... :smirk:
Nice entry and an interesting concept! The framerate of the mobile version was too low, so I had to play the WIN version. The physics acts strangely sometimes, so it happens to accidentally throw away weapons, and there is a bug that makes fly your character if you drag an item at the top of the screen. With some adjustments, however, it could be a great mobile game. Keep up the good work!
@kapiteinkoekwous One plus One (it's quite old, but can run most recent games) with Android 6.0.1
Great entry! Amazing graphics and atmosphere! In my opinion, the change between soundtracks when you touch the sand is too sudden, maybe you can try to smooth the transition. Otherwise, great job!
Great art, animations, and mood! Fun little short game. Nice job!
Great game! At the first run, I thought I had to destroy as many things as possible ... I quickly realized that the target of the game was exactly the opposite!
Great take on the theme, well done!
Amazing graphics and atmosphere, simple gameplay but fun. Great work!
@saering Thank you!
@lu7cie yes, but you must be very quick! One tip: start with the hens behind you...
@grizzledboor Thank you! Yes it is possible, but is quite hard! (it's not simple to calibrate the difficulty level during a Ludum Dare!). I've made a speed run video to demonstrate it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkfhhnIZdzw
THIS GAME IS EPIC! It's impressive how much fun you have managed to put in such a little game... We want more!
Hi! Maybe it's only a problem with my PC, since no one else is talking about this problem, but I can not drag any object, when I click over it, they become darker but don't move. What can I do to make the game work properly?
Nice puzzle game! It's a perfect mobile game. Nice job!
Great art and animations. As you said too, the game is not very challenging, but you can solve this in a post-compo version. Keep up the good work!
Nice graphics! The bullets maybe are too slow and have not much contrast with the backgound (I barely see they). Great entry for your first LD.
Nice one! The scene navigation controls are a bit uncomfortable (especially the rotation). Interesting idea. P.S. the trailer is great!
Great concept! It's very difficult to master, it could be used to sensitize drivers about the danger of distractions at the wheel! Nice job!
@rolly Thank you for your feedback. Yes, I do 😔, I'll fix it in the future!
Hi @mircea123 I'm sorry but this time I didn't make it. I was completing another game and I didn't want to leave it and launch myself into a Ludum Dare marathon! (https://www.nickzangus.com/trenchrun if you want to take a look of my new game :slight_smile: )
@mircea123 maybe the next time!
Great game! I do not know if it is wanted, but at a certain point the level repeats itself to infinity and it is no longer possible to proceed (the one with three hole traps and two trees on the left). However, great job!
Wow this game is amazing! Great pixel art and massive humor and mood. Great job!
@zimennik Yes, I've created all in the 72h, except for the characters animation that I've downloaded from Mixamo. Thank you for asking, I've corrected the game description to clarify it.
Great game! I like the "old FPS" atmosphere (it reminds me Blood). As others say, when you use the books, they cover a big portion of the screen, but is quickly solvable. Overall, good job!
The way you handled the synchronized movement of the player with the metronome is absolutely brilliant! Simple game but very well executed!
One of the best so far. Amazing game!
It was fun to cut the paper to read the story, nice game!
Very nice idea! I really had fun playing it, good work!
Good job! It would have been nice to control the stone with the accelerometer, and maybe pick up power ups and use them whenever you want (keeping in memory only the last).
Thank you all! Since I have no experience with music sequencers and the short time available, I decided to use a tool for automatic music generation (http://www.earslap.com/projectslab/otomata). Fortunately, the result is perfectly suited for the game!
Initially, I have not thought of a game for smartphone, but the result seems made for a tablet!
@adnzzzzZ I was stunned when I saw your game ... What an amazing coincidence!
Amazing! Incredibly immersive ... Great job!
Excellent game... Good job!
Awesome! I love it!
One of the best entries I've tried so far... Great graphics, immersive audio and really fun to play! The keyboard control are pretty uncomfortable, It would be better to use a gamepad.
Thanks to all for trying my game!
@JALgames
@Serk
@copain
Effectively, controlling the rotation with the keyboard would lead to have more freedom to move the weights, but I liked that you can play it only with the mouse. Maybe I could try to use the mouse wheel... I would try different approaches however!
Thank you! I really appreciate all those feedbacks!
@SonnyBone
Some stereotypical sentence in Mexican style! The hilarious review of "Facade" of "One F Jef" gave me a great inspiration!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOdlDE0xT7M
@MattV
Unfortunately I have not had time to implement a score... But it will be the first thing which I will in the future!
@Teesquared
It sounds like a good idea! Greatly simplify the interaction with the scene!
Interesting idea! But perhaps having to wait for the recharge of the bar to activate the glasses creates a bit too much downtime for me. Being able to stay in the black zone for a limited period of time makes everything very challenging!
Really great job! It's a really cool mechanic, and I would love to see it expanded.
Amazing entry! Very nice graphics and sound! Good job!
Very challenging! (in the good way) I love the aesthetic and the gameplay... Maybe a post-compo version with the difficulty level that rises more slowly?
Great game! Nice graphics and interesting gameplay. Sometimes visibility is not optimal, it would be useful to be able to rotate the camera around the level. Good job!
Wow! Very impressive! Amazing entry!
Beautiful graphics and very challenging! Good job!
Extremely well done!
One of my favourite so far. Great game!
@Allchimik Bug resolved... Thanks for reporting it!
Great concept! Well done!
Incredible work! I love it!
Absolutely amazing! This game have to win!
Simple and well polished. Nice game! The only thing I would improve is the final part of the animation of transition between levels, too sudden
@Pulsartronic I tried to use the theme in an indirect way, not as a technical limitation. The game is based indeed "on One Screen"!
@Maurogik Thanks! There had to be the exit door, but I did not have time to put it!
Hi Crowbeak, thanks for the comments. For the audio, I was undecided whether to opt out or not. In the end I decided to keep this category since I spent much time on this aspect, and in the creation of most of the sound effects used. I clearly stated in the description and in the opening game screen, that the music was not made by me.
Thank you all!
@Team Klappermann
I've worked alone on this project, I have decided to not participate in the compo for two main reasons:
1 - Time: in three days I could barely make the game playable, in two days it would be impossible for me;
2 - Code: in a past Ludum Dare, some people stole my code and published the game on the Play Store/iTunes market;
For these reasons I participate only to the JAM.
Hi ch15m! What problems you encountered?
@KaiseanGames
Link fixed, sorry for the inconvenience!
Added MAC and LINUX versions, if you experience any problem, please let me know!
Wow that's great! Surely one of the most innovative entry I've found so far. The monster-table animation is really nice. Good job!
@Upwily
Yes, the keyboard controls are a bit uncomfortable. If possible, I suggest you to use a controller (in a post compo version I'd like to improve the keyboard control).
Great work! Brilliant take on the theme! My only complaint is about the music that, in my opinion, don't fit with the rest of the game. But other than that, it's amazing!
