That little seedling sprite is super adorable.

meenners 2017-04-25 04:45

very cute!

wetbox 2017-04-25 11:37

Amazing game. Congratulate you with release!

drazil100 2017-04-26 09:18

I love how cute this game is. Thanks again for showing it to me! <3

la-mecanique-du-plastique 2017-04-26 16:13

Whaou ! Amazing graphics and cuteness. We loved it. Would be great to see more ! Bravo <3

simonreiser 2017-04-28 18:51

Cute!

jamgrrl 2017-04-28 23:02

This is a very cute, very zen, little sandbox. Way more visually stunning than I expected from an LD game. Creative as well. If this had game elements, like, if making things had a cost, and there was a goal, and there was more to discover over time, I would still be playing it. I'd like to see this developed further into a full game.

samurai-spark 2017-04-30 12:36

The Visuals are just superb.. ! I love those little cute guys, as you can see!

Although having even some kind of an objective would have been really nice, this game is just too cute and well polished that I could find something to not like about it. It is just amazing what you were able to pull off in just 3 days!

tinyworlds 2017-04-30 15:41

Really cute, relaxing game with beautiful graphics! The monsters are obviously still unfinished in their behavior, but I really enjoyed seeing them build stuff and hop around my world. The ambient sound was very subtle and relaxing, but I feel the loop could be a bit longer, I could hear it repeating. Also the ponds are a bit glitchy if you place them right next to each other. All in all a really cool entry with beautiful little characters!

spacedoubt 2017-05-01 03:58

That was interesting. I wasn't really sure what I was doing, or why I was doing, but I kept doing it anyway because I was having fun. I really like the graphics.

martenscedric 2017-05-01 05:02

The art is nice, the game and sound is relaxing, it feels prototypish and I think it would be a good idea to continue it a bit. I played it longer than expected, building my own little world

joatski 2017-05-01 05:32

Very tranquil atmosphere. I loved the effect of greenery growing out when things like puddles are placed, but the pop-in from the aggressive LOD broke the illusion somewhat. It might have been nice to be less aggressive until many items are placed.

littlerain 2017-05-01 05:54

Hah cool little game. Should make a mode where you can stomp on the little guys XD

crazi456 2017-05-01 06:38

Extremely cute models and animations. Loved it!

la-mecanique-du-plastique 2017-05-01 12:51

Rated <3 Visually one of my favourite game of the jam so far !

xenosns 2017-05-01 18:35

Very cute!

simplepotential 2017-05-01 22:11

I really like the zen garden feeling I get from this. I would look forward to playing something a little more polished in the future :)

epicsoft 2017-05-01 22:12

So cute!!! 😊😄 Had good time playing

caterein 2017-05-01 22:24

Really relaxing and pretty - like a real garden! Sometimes spawning seemed to get "stuck" in the browser version, and I wasn't able to spawn any more characters or objects. Well done game! :)

spav 2017-05-01 22:33

Great job. Looks amazing, just want to see what develops from that. It definitely has huge potential. As far as I understand there is nothing I can do besides creating fireplaces now?

torcado 2017-05-01 22:37

Super nice! Really good visuals and effects. Chill games are good too

With some nice music and sounds i feel like this could be really good.

redpanda 2017-05-01 22:49

Really liked your game! Feels like godgame, which I love!

kristian-david 2017-05-02 03:56

I love the idea of this game and it is well executed.

occultone 2017-05-02 05:03

I Live-Streamed this game this past evening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfvbUFJnui4

Felt like one of those Simulation God-Games from the early 2000's. I wanted to do more but I think I broke the AI. I got ridiculously excited at the concept of them building things from the simulation and I hope you do something with that.

strega 2017-05-02 05:04

Very adorable aesthetic! The ambient sounds are nice for mood. On the start screen I thought the game was still loading with the spinning cursor. I didn't know that the two icons that appeared at the beginning were clickable at first.

drtizzle 2017-05-02 06:09

Looks really good! Love the artstyle. It also ran really good on my not-so-high-end computer. It was fun to play around with for a couple of minutes, but it would be nice to see some gameplay elements. Well done!

frankiesmileshow 2017-05-02 08:34

What have I done When I close my eyes all I can see is their cute little sprout faces

and the branches

and the stones

and the fire

and the fire

what have I done

(streamed at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/139473859 , starts at 3:40:36)

mindtricks 2017-05-02 16:09

I love this so much. The art is just beautiful, I want like 20 of that sprouts in my house now. The concept is awesome, the fact that you can place things and they use them to build things, it's just so awesome! I would love to see a more complex world with this concept.

sachos345 2017-05-02 17:48

Super cute chill game, saw this game get played on lots of streams, i wish it had more advanced AI though.

larzan 2017-05-03 11:36

This has a nice art style and cute little entities, but without music it somehow seemed a bit dry to me, you should try to find something that would match the mood of the game.

The way it is now it was not very captivating to me unfortunately...

skullpixel 2017-05-04 01:59

A cute little game with great art. However, it got old a little quickly, and I seemed to bug some of them out a bit too.

kodiqi 2017-05-04 05:17

This is a lovely looking game and has tons of potential. This was very ambitious for such a short time frame, hence it being more of a sandbox than a structured game experience. I hope you continue to develop this beyond LD38.

Initially the controls took some adjusting to, my immediate instinct was to use the mouse to navigate around the environment and to spawn items.

The little sprout guys are very cute, I feel like they should be the focus of the game. Rather than spawning them, you create an environment in which they flourish (or die) outside of your direct control of their spawning. I think raising a little sprout family could be very endearing to players.

dark-power 2017-05-06 09:07

Such Cute Character

boriky 2017-05-06 09:15

I like the visuals, but there are several bugs with the object placement. I'd love to see the game completed! :)

psilon 2017-05-06 10:44

Graphics are great. Not much to do, but it was fun for a short time.

dev-dennis 2017-05-06 11:16

I got pretty impressed by the small guys, they gather and stuff. Would be nice if they could populate by them selves, and maybe create tribes that fight each other :D Also death would be a cool thing, and you could play god.

Great Entry

blackrose 2017-05-06 12:36

Omg! love this game! i like so much the graphics, are so cute, and the little world is perfect. And is so entretaining ^^

nickzangus 2017-05-06 13:31

Great graphics but no real gameplay. Anyway it has a good potential, keep up the good work!

pmarincak 2017-05-06 19:28

Very cute. Would be nice though if the characters did a little bit more though, like build little buildings or cut down the trees. Would also be great if you could put rivers, or erase placements.

nuebomundo 2017-05-08 14:44

Impressive for a game jam. It's fun to just try things and see what happens, even if there is no real "game". The 3D models, the colors, the character, the animations, and presentation are all well made and appealing. The character's design is specially good, just seeing it carry stuff or interact with others is very charming and enjoyable. You have something special here. If it could evolve or adapt to different environments it would be even more interesting (changing its behavior, capabilities...), but these are just some options to potentially give the game more content and depth, directed in this case to developing/expanding the character and making it the focus of the experience. From here, you could take this in any direction, so that's up to you!

Solid entry, with lots and lots of potential.

nonameghost 2017-05-11 01:55

Reminds me a lot of Viridi! Cute!

jishenaz 2017-05-13 13:50

Wonder sandbox! I didn't play for very long, but I'll keep the download and play later. Amazing graphics, however I thought that the ambience was too quiet (my speakers were at decent volume). I've also made a sandbox called [Caelium Alpha](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/caelium-alpha), if you are interested; it's about space.

philomory 2017-05-14 00:53

This is super cute, but, of course, doesn't really have anything to hold the player's attention for very long. I love the aesthetic, and would love to see it used as the launching point for some sort of village sim / strategy game.

2017-05-14 18:01

Lovely graphics! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDPVuoHG3u8

unclechris 2017-05-16 21:09

This was a cute sandbox, the graphics amazing. Being able to put items down, and "build" it really was fun.

sgstair 2017-05-17 00:24

Really nice looking game, Was fun to play around with, but I ultimately lost interest after exploring all the mechanics available. Seems like it would be easy to develop this starting point into a pretty interesting game.

I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141703264 - time 0:29:30

failedstarfish 2017-05-17 21:29

I really liked the mood and chilled little world you created, art style is really nice as well. Shame you couldn't add any gameplay but it was still a lovely experience.

funisfun8 2017-05-19 04:00

Wonderful visuals! While it's not something I would play a ton, it's definitely enjoyable and could be very interesting if more interactions and items were added. Maybe items could combine effects in a way?
