Very innovative idea! I'd love to see this taken further. This could definitely be a full commercial game. The presentation is amazing, graphics, sound, everything! However, given the high level of quality, I feel the need to be a little tougher on the game as a whole. I just have a few critiques:
1. I really didn't like not being able to see the level as a whole. It was fun to think about how to traverse obstacles; it was not fun to make blind leaps of faith. 2. The lose condition isn't clear enough. It seems to be you die if you don't touch the goal by the end of a turn unless you grab a crystal? This could be clearer. 3. Spikes aren't fun. With them being on a real-time clock, it really doesn't add challenge, (just frustration,) and I don't feel they reinforce your main mechanic (turn based platforming). I do feel that they could be really interesting if they acted on a per action timer though, (changing state every so many cards or whatever,) in fact I'd add more obstacles and elements that interact with both the player and the flow of cards. 4. Small note, but given the other issue, when I died, I was frustrated to wait for the game over animation to end. It's not long, maybe a few seconds, but it feels long when you just want to try that again. It's a puzzle game, when you've figured out the puzzle, you don't want to wait to implement the solution. :)
All that said, I really enjoyed Spiky. Very well done! I hope you take this further, I would love to play a more polished version of this game. Take the feedback from this thread, and go make something amazing for us to play!
