Great mood and art style. The best I have seen so far on a compo game. I like the cycle system and the way we can try to plan the time passing. And nice try on the theme with a surprising idea.
Took me a long time to understand how to act and the limitations of reaffectations (not the day corresponding to this action, not the same workplace ?). I reached the 4th mission but failed, even though I really think they crossed each other during the same day. Do they need to be all three in the same place at the same time ?

@jojocanard, thanks for the feedback! Yes, they do need to be in the same place on the 4th mission.

You really nailed the look of the game, it looks beautiful.
Awesome drawings, icons and methods of their placement on the map remind me of "This Is The Police", "Kentucky Route Zero" and "Mini Metro" with their designs of complex routes, geography and strategical puzzles.
Surprising take on the theme. Had to take a while to figure out what to do, but after that it's pretty fun :) Very good ambiance and music too. Very good job :)
Quite innovative puzzle game, great idea and a good fit for this theme. A+ art (maybe I just love that simplistic, clean art style) and high quality audio effects too.
I would have wanted a kind of skip-day-button, just because it doesn't really do much good if you know what visit or workplace you want to assign but have to wait 4 days til the next off day to do so :grinning:
Great entry!
It took a little while for me to figure out what I was supposed to do, but it was smooth sailing afterwards. The visual style complements the gameplay very well, and the music helps to give it pretty good atmosphere.
I would like to see some kind of day skip or fast-forward button, as I spent quite some time just waiting for the right day to come so I could move one of the characters.

Extremly stylish game, very minimalistic but very pleasant to eye, even font matches perfectly. Gameplay is simplistic, innovative and presents interesting challenges. Mood is also pretty good.

A lot of other people saying this, but you really got the art down, looked great!
Really innovative! Nice job and the sfx and bg music fit the mood perfectly! Unfortunately, I had a REALLY hard time timing up the paths and took me a bit to figure out how everything worked in the first place.
Art style is great and really works for this game. I couldn't figure out the last mission unfortunately, and having to wait until they had days off to switch their workplace was a bit tedious. Really great take on the theme, probably one of my favorites so far. Nice work!

Thank you all for the feedback!
@somethinboutgames, @bearishmushroom, @maggardjosh, fast-forwarding was one of the things I had to take off my to-do list because of lack of time. The top bar was supposed to have much more functions and data, like the relation between the player and the government. But for my first compo, I'm really satisfied with it. :)

The mood of the game you achieved with the music and art is great. Congrats!
Wow, that's completely not what I expected! Well done sir! I did find the game frustrating whilst waiting to swap peoples places of work whilst they were working. Maybe consider letting you change it for the next cycle?

This is a cool concept and I really like the art style. I found waiting for the days to pass a little tedious though. The music was simple, but I think it served it's purpose well and established a good tone.
Very nice puzzle! But I gave up at 4-th mission =)
Pure aesthetic is great and really works for this project. The gameplay is unusual. I love it ++

very nice game, wonderful art style and a very fitting mood. A little bit difficult to get the hang of it initially but not bad when you're into it.
Like most people I think I gave up at the 4 mission, I had an intersection where I though they'd all cross, and they came close but not close enough. I really didn't feel like waiting for their days off to shift them around. If I could move them around at anytime and have them do that the next day I probably would have played until I beat it.
very good game overall though!
This was an excellently executed game, with fantastic graphics and music. The mood was on point, and the concept was very original. The game's mechanics didn't... *grab* me and hold me, but I think with some more development and a couple more mechanics, you could really have a great, long lasting game.
Nice Job! Sorry for not doing it justice!
cool idea, well executed
one thing that would help in the long run is a way to speed up days, there is a lot of waiting for the next day just so you can change their work.
maybe you could also have the government watch a street and if the rebels meet in that street something happens, just so it's like you have this planned out, but you have to change or delay your plans at the last minute
Best graphics I saw on this jam, really good!
The gameplay is interesting and innovative, but a little confusing. It took me a while to understand what to do and where to click to make something happen. And I wasn't able to find out how to accomplish the last task, too hard for me.

The graphics on this one looked stunning. but the gameplay lacked a bit of something. And I couldn't get them to meet at the same time although, they were really close.
Other than that, you did a great job. keep it up. It reminded me of mini metro, which is a really good game
Love from the first screenshot. Completed the last objective (supermarket is the best place for everyone to meet, kinda realistic, lol). Looks like there's a lot of room to expand this, hope you're intended to continue development. Thanks for the entry!
Really nice sober and modern graphics. I like "graph theory games", original mechanics. It is very hard, but it not a bad thing.
Very well executed. Great mood, and a very interesting game mechanic. Would love to see this expanded.

Excellent audio and graphics, and a really intriguing base mechanic. I'd love to see you build on this to add more stages with more rebels and enemies and goals and so on. Could potentially be an atmospheric puzzler along the lines of Papers Please.

The graphics are soo good it really helped the theme a lot, some of the comments already said that you could take this and make it into a full fledge game. My only critism is that is not fun to be waiting that much, I would have liked to choose a day to jump and see if they met each other, as waiting so much for them to see the day they could meet is a lot of time. Great job!
PS: A Bug I got was that I accidentally won the whole game without finishing all the meetings between them, I was on the second "mission" and all 3 met on the same spot and the game just told me that I got them all and I had to use esc to exit the game. I hope this is useful.
Love it! Not sure why I was such a sucker for it, though. Minimalist visuals and creepy music certainly help set a great tone. I've also spent waaaaay too much time lately playing Persona 4 and 5 back-to-back, so I guess I'm just a sucker for watching the calendar and counting the days until the stars align and my master plan is finally executed.
Anyway, its a cool idea (Wikileaks: The Game!) and nicely executed. Kudos!

Interesting take on the theme, although it did feel a bit forced. Nevertheless, the idea is unique andI dig it. Takes a while to understand what's going on, and that's perfectly fine for a puzzle game like this. The art was spot on (reminded me of Mini Metro... the layout, not the style). Cool stuff!

Unique idea for a game certainly. I like these kind of puzzle games, although I was unable to get all three of the rebels to meet. One thing that took some time to realize is that you have to click on home and press assign workplace because I didn't see that button at first.
The game could be expanded to have multiple levels but overall it was a pleasant experience. Great job!

Very interesting idea. The puzzles weren't too difficult or easy, just right. My only complaint is that it takes too long to wait for the perfect situation that you want to test and that it takes too long to reassign work places. Maybe there should be more days off. Other than that, good job!
Never experienced such a game mechanic. Very nice presentation, best in Compo so far! In the future you could do more missions, add police officers, or multiple meetings in a certain order. In addition you could provive a tutorial for new players.
This entry reminded me of ResistJam, would have been a good fit there as well. Your art and music is great and I also like the idea of the game. Played through to the end but sometimes it was a bit frustrating that you had to wait some days to be able to switch the job or to wait for the right day on which the paths would cross. I agree with the suggestion that an option to skip days would have been nice.

Wow, such a great idea!!! I love played your game!! Music relaxing, and you have to reflect! Thank you for the experience :)
Loved the graphics and the tone it makes a great game, Only with there was an option to fast forward to a specific day it would realy improve the pace!
I think the concept here was great. I think the flow of the game might be improved if you didn't have to wait until the rebels' off days to plan their work out and vice versa. It might also help to be able to fast forward so you don't have to wait a week if you screw up.
Still, really great unique game. I love the mood you set. I'm going to come back to this one to see if I can get farther next time.
Visually this is a really nice entry, though I found that the gameplay got tedious quickly. I think it would have been greatly improved if the player had more control over the progression of time: having a fast forward or skip ahead option would have cut down on a lot of waiting. It might also have been interesting if instead of playing the game in real-time, the player plans routes at the start of a day and then watches it play out.
Could definitely have been fleshed out a bit more, but it's a pretty solid entry as is!

Thanks for the feedback, people! There are some great improvements ideas here, like the turn based mechanic. I might continue the project in my free time.
Interesting game! I liked the system of making rebels meet each other, and the atmosphere was very fitting! The multi-destinations for workspace and days off was nice, and added an extra bit of depth to the game. I think the game could have been a bit better if the schedules were a bit clearer, and if the mouse could have also been used as the camera, but overall, great job! It was a well-executed concept that I had a lot of fun with!
Wow, this game is great. It really suprised me when I saw that this was a compo entry. Really impressive for 48 hours. I love the visuals and the audio. I also love the unique spin on the theme. The puzzle mechanics were really interesting and together with the theme, the music and the visuals it made for a great game.
The UX is lacking a bit. I simply didn't know what to do for a solid 5minutes. I watched them walk around, hovered over their houses and it didn't feel like there was anything I could do. I tried drag and drop, double clicking, right-clicking... nothing worked. The biggest issue was that the buttons (Assign Visitation and Assign Workplace) simply don't have any hover effect and don't look like buttons at all.
Another thing is the actual time mechanic. It think the game would work alot better if it was faster or even turn-based, where you plan your routes and can just check them. Having to wait a whole week to tweak something wasn't really fun, especially when trying to make all 3 of them meet.
All in all, a great 5 star game though. I was really impressed with this one.

Very nice atmosphere, the game looked polished. I would really like an option to speed up time tho, because often I would wait for a special day to change one task. Then I would change one persons task, related to another person. So I would need to wait again for that day. Also there was no danger I think. I imagined there would be some police travelling the same roads that you would need to avoid too. That may spice things up. Good job!

Very interesting take on the theme, spot on I'd say. Audioviusally very polished, and a fun mechanic to add. Gameplay is actually very fitting, buys into the 'supervisor' vibe, very much alike the 'Papers, please!'.
Great work! And nice to see such polish in compo, really great.
What could be improved
**(but what is perfectly understandable because of time constraints):**
- either active pause, or ability to assign work / visit at any time, taking effect on the nearest date (day) possible. It woud make more sense that way.
- ending (well, I expected something more ;) )
- more content, i.e. actual information and story you'd see unfolding.
- day/night transition where map doesn't briefly disappear (taht's a tough one to crack, but I believe in you :D )
This is a great entry, if you decide to take it further I'd be very glad to see it.
Leaving my rating, cheers!

A beautiful and a really interesting game. The intro story is good, but I would really have liked the story better integrated in the game play. But overall a super well made LD game. WELL DONE.

Great world-building skills! The intro and the music created a dense oppressive atmosphere. The graphics were simplistic but beautiful and very fitting considering you are a planner that is supposed to control peoples lives from in front of a screen.
It took me a while to figure out what the game wanted from me though. I thought I had to make the people meet at work or during off-times, but later realized that this was hard-locked in the game, so I figured out I had to make them meet by chance on the street.
I found that challenge a bit tough for my tastes, as the controls were a bit unwieldy. Since I could only change work during off-times and vice versa, the game felt like it was holding me back whenever I wanted to try something out, because it wasn't the right time. I managed to finish tasks 1-3 but gave up when all three rebels almost passed on the the street, but missed each other by a fraction of a second.
Overall it's an awesome set-up that could benefit from a little more refinement to give the player more control. That and maybe a few more mechanics, but of course time is always an issue.
Great job overall!

Great concept! It reminded me the game "Does not Commute", but with an opposite goal. I like the graphics, especially the effects. If you are not planning your game's release for tablets, you should!
Great mood and graphics! Gameplay is pretty unique as well! My ONLY complaint would be the difficulty. It took me a while to figure out what was going on and I couldn't sole the 4th puzzle. However, I was so engaged by the core mechanics I tried for quite a while! Great work! EDIT: OH! One more thing. COMPLETE THIS GAME! If you added to this, tweaked the difficulty, and polished this to a shine, I would totally buy it.

Really interesting but difficult game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKbr96NdjUs
