Great game! I did that challenge in 50... :D All fives from me!

The Unintentional Terrorist by MikeTheWayne 2015-04-23T19:17:00

Cool! Would've been even better with some sound. Five overall from me!

Letter Spray by Megapiemanphd 2015-04-21T00:56:00

Cool concept, found the ending unique. Good graphics!

Butter luck next time by benbateman 2015-04-23T23:50:00

Very buggy, fell through the floor occasionally

CRUD by block97 2015-04-24T00:43:00

Fun game, but a little short for the Jam.

Electromagnet by PeterFonts 2015-04-24T01:17:00

For some reason, the mouse sensitivity was REALLY high, and I wasn't being attracted to any objects. :( Looked cool...

Kitten Defense by Archonthewizard 2015-04-25T01:01:00

So much fun! All fives from me :D

LD38 — A Small World

The Burrow by Stending 2017-05-02T16:48:52Z

The art is amazing, really great to sit down and take in. Impressive :)

Troll Castle by berkano 2017-05-01T18:35:37Z

Art is... programmer art, completely understandable for a compo. Nice job implementing the theme, I could easily tell what you were going for. Idea had some unique aspects to it, not too too similar to other games. Overall, nice job!

Routine by Breno_M 2017-05-01T18:37:32Z

A lot of other people saying this, but you really got the art down, looked great!

Cardboard Cats Online by Ilseroth 2017-05-02T11:16:00Z

Worked well for me! Awesome game, hope the servers work out for everyone else, it was worth the playing time :)

Global Disaster by Jamesy012 2017-05-02T12:39:58Z

@Breno_M described it the best, but I ended up using 11 fingers at 5 minutes...

Global Disaster by Jamesy012 2017-05-02T12:39:58Z

Duplicate...

Global Disaster by Jamesy012 2017-05-02T12:39:58Z

Another duplicate! It seems the website didn't update when I pressed the submit button... request for a delete button :)

Step-Squish by NumNumDude 2017-05-02T00:58:45Z

"Bummer d00d", awesome game, love the gameover text. Follows the theme to a creative extent, nice job!

Communitas by hbocao 2017-05-03T10:45:06Z

I loved r/place! It *was* probably one of my favorite experiments they did. Props to you for making something similar, I love it!

HexaHover by AJ Weeks 2017-05-02T11:18:55Z

Played with another person and we had a blast, was lots of fun to shoot eachother off the platform!

Gillie Goes Global by rustybroomhandle 2017-05-03T10:15:50Z

Interesting art style, looked like it took a lot of time to create the drawings. Really nice job!

Submersible by kleinzach 2017-05-02T12:32:58Z

Great mood (definitely 5/5), and the simple art was amazing, I always love low-poly. The game ran absolutely find on "Simple" settings on a integrated gpu, so I think you are good with the performance. I really would've like to have been able to control the submarine either entirely with the keyboard or able to hold the buttons down with the mouse (I had to repetitively press them to speed up/down the submarine or to float up/down). Awesome game, love it!

Human Tragedy by tiffi 2017-05-03T10:37:52Z

Nice mood, but it was *very* hard to see much of anything. I know it was meant to do this to enhance the mood, but it really affected the gameplay because I couldn't even see the environment. Otherwise, nice job :)

Edge of the Abyss by piscythe 2017-05-03T10:05:55Z

I was literally going to say the same exact thing @nilead :) Awesome submission, took a little bit for me to get a handle on things, but eventually, I was crushing it. Nice job!

Blackhole Escape INC by teekeks 2017-05-03T10:31:00Z

I'm really glad you ran it off of your own engine, super cool that you did that! Nice work :)

Rift World by Lenon Kramer 2017-05-02T12:15:15Z

Awesome game and the visuals are great for a Jam! Played for at least 30 minutes before I realized I had other things to do... nice work!

Unnamed Space Project by Devastus 2017-05-03T10:21:28Z

Awesome graphics, looks great for a game jam. Impressive work! Gameplay was a little bland and I could never really figure out what the resources were for however...

It's a Small World, So Let's Crash It into Things by simonhutchinson 2017-05-02T12:55:05Z

The name, it's amazing. Game is hilariously fun, really nice job!

GALAXEN by mrerdalural 2017-05-03T10:42:13Z

The art is amazing and relaxing! This can definitely be turned into a full-fledged game... nice work!

Food Fight by Scornz 2017-05-02T00:11:58Z

@Burgee, my bad! That is the wrong link... can't believe I didn't see that before, I changed the link to the one with the changed difficulty. I had received this advice from a friend like 30 minutes before the Jam ended, uploaded it, and forgot to change the link. Thanks!

Food Fight by Scornz 2017-05-02T00:13:40Z

@aj-weeks Thanks! That is exactly the reason I opted out of the audio section :)

Food Fight by Scornz 2017-05-02T12:11:47Z

Thanks everyone for the feedback! (@oxrock @KabalaTrance @Tommyflower @Sondrian @sneakydeagle and @ilseroth) I will be definitely making a post-jam build with your guys' suggestions, thanks for playing!

Interstellar Botanist by saiodin 2017-05-02T16:46:37Z

Woah, this is a serious entry! I'm surprised at how polished the UI is for a game jam, really nice job!

Moon Dozer by sararyCow 2017-05-01T18:23:53Z

Awesome! Reminds me of Rock of Ages with the rolling mechanics, was very intriguing, keep it up.

Super Natural Defense by AfroAnt 2017-05-02T11:06:52Z

Mac version is still bugged, same thing happened to me as @spav, let me know when this gets fixed, would love to play still!

NT-Virus by fingamer 2017-05-02T16:50:55Z

Awesome concept! Love the idea of being an anti-virus program fighting off malware, but there are some things missing (understandable for a game jam). I would recommend making a build with a little more polish, would absolutely come back and play it again.

NES ROM - Arlington Apple in an Interplanetary Pickle by team-disposable 2017-05-03T10:39:04Z

An NES ROM? That's awesome! Might have to actually load this on to a cartridge to play it again :) Awesome work!

Ant Detective by Aumbra 2017-05-03T10:29:22Z

Awesome!! The game is absolutely hilarious and the art looks very finished. I played it through more than once to show it off to my friends.

From robots with love by Guillaume Voisinet 2017-05-02T10:33:29Z

Awesome game! Just happened to find it while my friends were over yesterday, had a lot of fun with this one. Nice work!

Defense Against the Giants by mango-malarkey 2017-05-02T16:54:00Z

Follows the theme to the point, I love all the little details you added in to make it even tailor more to it. Very nice job!

Mission Blue by olkeencole 2017-05-01T18:30:38Z

Definitely has potential, time definitely left a few things unfinished here, but otherwise a great concept. Not entirely too sure how this portrays to the theme (I could make *some* connection), but still I can't wait to see what your Post-Jam version looks like. Keep going!

Small Obstacles by digitaldude555 2017-05-01T10:27:08Z

Awesome idea! It *was* a little confusing to learn how to use the elevators (and other machines) as the directions weren't very clear. I always love a game that utilizes size to perceive depth.

Tiny World Defense by IanMorrison 2017-05-02T10:24:23Z

It was awesome that you added game pad support for this game, especially in the compo. I really enjoyed the style of the game and the pace of it, nice work!

Ultra-ninja VS falling zombies by gaspard 2017-05-02T00:22:39Z

Simple art, great concept, keep it up!

Naughty Gnomes by gurkenlabs 2017-05-02T16:53:01Z

Cool art, easy to learn, but I've never heard of that engine before. Is it a new one? @gurkenlabs

Advanced Mitosis by Endurion 2017-05-02T12:35:16Z

Nice job, puzzles were great. I could not hear the music either (@supermsp10), but this has been happening for probably 2 out of every 6 or so games I play, so I don't know. Nice work on this game :)

Grow Little Planet by jin47 2017-05-02T11:00:58Z

I played it until I beat it, awesome Compo game, nice work!

Sunken Mystery by Shubham Gupta 2017-05-03T16:38:05Z

Interesting concept, had a lot of fun playing it, little glitchy at times (I fell through the floor), but otherwise a solid entry.

Destroy Blocks by D-Studios 2017-05-02T12:18:43Z

Interesting concept, but not too sure how this fits the theme. For some reason my sound doesn't work in this game, I would look into that. Otherwise, not a bad game, cool concept...

M^3 (Moon Mining Manager) by KnightOwl 2017-05-02T12:38:01Z

Awesome game, although it was confusing to get the hang of at first, when I did, I had a lot of fun. UI was being really weird for me, but I don't know...

Rogue Basement by Steve Johnson 2017-05-02T11:11:46Z

I love a good rouge-like! Awesome game, beat it in 25 minutes, but decided to play again since it was so much fun :)

Pale Blue Dot by SneakyDeagle 2017-05-02T00:24:46Z

I know a lot of other people are saying this, but the mood is unbelievably good for a game jam. Nice job!

Mind The Gap (First Ludum Dare) by Izunah 2017-05-02T00:21:50Z

Well done man! Very innovative and requires some skill to get the hang of, but not sure why you didn't opt out in the Graphics and Audio sections of your entry. Otherwise, awesome job!

The Little World by JayTord 2017-05-02T16:47:58Z

Awesome fun, my record is 15 days. It takes a little bit to get the hang of, but once you do, it's quite addicting.

Shrunk Down by Chrras 2017-05-03T10:39:59Z

"Intoxicated by lemonade", this made my day. Good job :D

My Precious Orbit by SwiftIllusion 2017-05-01T18:45:59Z

Like you said, core concept is great! Follows the theme really well, but I really wish you were able to add a score system, it seems I'm just going around in space hitting planets around into a clump. Excited to see where this one goes.

Platform Styx by MoneaGames 2017-05-02T12:44:48Z

Oh man, was not expecting it to be that scary... I'm a fan of horror games (Outlast, RE7, etc.) Really nice to see this in a game jam, nice job!

Nightwards, Heartwards by Victor Ojuel 2017-05-02T00:27:09Z

Screenshots look amazing, but I can't seem to download it from itch.io... it's downloading a small 10 KB file full of text. Let me know when this is fixed and I'll come back and vote!

Just You And Your Porch by lilroo 2017-05-01T18:42:09Z

Simple concept, well executed. I'm not sure how this game entirely follows the theme... but good idea!

Every Man's Sky by blaster391 2017-05-01T10:43:20Z

Awesome concept (much better than No Man's Sky), I love the thought of going around and seeing other people's planets. Unfortunately the game is just that, creating spheres and seeing other people's spheres, it would be great if there were more options for planets (maybe even orbit?).

The Glass Marble Tour by icecheetah 2017-05-03T10:43:53Z

Nice story, was very relaxing to just sit down and play.

Clean the Dorm by fangzhangmnm 2017-05-01T10:31:46Z

I really like how you made the world by using pictures, very creative.

RC kitchen Throwdown by oxrock 2017-05-02T10:27:04Z

Man, this was an interesting experience! Creative and original to be in the RC Car, love how well it followed the theme, I enjoyed playing it.

AstroGunner by KabalaTrance 2017-05-02T11:14:29Z

I love it! 2.5D worked really well for this one, but the ship controls were a little confusing for me. I think @Zelos said it best, otherwise awesome work!

Tiny Terraformer by Wheffle 2017-05-03T10:13:33Z

I really like the 'secret', with the .png that is created based off of your planet. It was a very nice touch and I'm glad you dedicated some time to it, nice work!

Its a small world by SuperMsp10 2017-05-03T10:41:16Z

Awesome game, love the 'hide and seek' aspect. Creative and innovative, definitely playing this one again!

Cosmic Cleaner by Burgee 2017-05-02T11:17:17Z

Cool concept, well executed, had a lot of fun throwing asteroids around. Nice job!

The Nedludd Club by zaibakk 2017-05-03T10:26:51Z

Long play time, awesome game throughout. It took a little bit for me to figure some of the stuff out, but it was overall very rewarding when you did. Simplistic art, looked like I was playing on an advanced Atari 2600 (no complaints, I love this style). Very impressive!

LD39 — Running out of Power

Robots Must Die by xubiod 2017-08-21T14:32:55Z

I played this one until the end! My game auto reset the first time I played after I upgraded everything however... but a great entry!

Shade Runner by ShadeRunner 2017-08-21T14:31:01Z

The movement is a... little hard to get used to. Interesting idea, but the concept could've been explained a little bit better in the beginning... otherwise a great entry!

LD42 — Running out of space

Placeholder by PoV 2018-08-31T18:20:34Z

Amazing! Truly a work of art!

Catchey (VR Only) by shadowbrain 2018-09-01T23:00:30Z

Saw the logo and immediately knew it was a Shadowbrain game, nice work!

Caving In by Scornz 2018-09-02T22:30:33Z

@ksyne Thanks for the response! I aimed to add some unique mechanics into using the boulders to reach platforms and also using the water (the exact thing you are trying to avoid) to your advantage. I agree that I should’ve exchanged some of the extra polish I placed on the game for more mechanics.

Rainforest by SimoGecko 2018-09-01T02:29:46Z

Loved the game! Great concept, however I did get stuck behind the wall when the shelf retracted back... except that, nice work!

BadPhone by Mormert 2018-08-13T00:30:07Z

Awesome idea! I loved it, I lasted 3 minutes and 25 seconds. However, the "thinking" sounds from the person using the phone were *extremely* repetitive, and I eventually just turned off my sound. Other than that, great job!

Power Ports & Pollution by CeeJap 2018-08-31T23:06:41Z

Slightly confusing at first, I had to click every button on my keyboard to figure out which one was "select" on the menu. Love the audio, very interesting concept, nice work!

LD46 — Keep it alive

ORB by blaster391 2020-04-21T18:29:05Z

Played it until I got the highscore, nice work! I could see out of the edge of the map, but love the concept of having health be a currency.

Silkworm: Keeping the Game Alive by Roey_Shap 2020-04-23T00:58:20Z

Played it all the way through, with some minor frustrations. The brick-breaking game was pretty difficult to get through, I found myself having one brick left to hit and then running out of energy in my crystals. When I got mole's ability, it seemed almost like random chance to hit the ball around. I had no idea how to direct it in any sort of way.

Overall, the game is good, I just had some trouble with some minor things throughout. By the way, thank you for commenting on my game, I went through it and realized most of your gripes were results of small coding errors (and are now fixed). Thank you for your feedback, best of luck with the rest of the jam, nice work!
