LD23 — Tiny World

Ant Run by fatSquirrel 2012-04-25T22:25:00

Fun little game. Having water droplets be lethal balls of death is awesome! Be cool if you had other dangers beside the water, such as hornets, beetles or even a lawnmower!

Block Bros by HeuGamer 2012-04-26T18:22:00

The graphics are nice and consistent. The walk animation is cute. It definitely didn't need to be so long as the gameplay doesn't change much. I think the relentless search is a good story. It just needs to be supplemented by additional puzzles or gameplay mechanic. Good first job though. Keep it up!

ONLY US by Datamosh 2012-04-28T02:43:00

Very fun! It's a very chill game where I can go at my own pace. I really like the pixel art.

Let's Go Moon by Transmit 2012-04-27T20:10:00

baller

Enlargement Issues by Vez 2012-04-25T20:55:00

The concept is great. Really like being able to traverse the home environment from two different perspectives. I think the core mechanic here has a lot of potential. You should continue to develop it. Try speeding up the shrink version and definitely fine tune those jumps. I look forward to seeing more of your games.

Redbeard the Borrower by jrasmussen24 2012-04-25T22:09:00

I love the Borrowers. I was really hoping someone would do it for this theme. I wish we could have gone through cracks in the wall and stuff. Please please please scrap the Third Person Character camera script and use the MouseOrbit script instead. That little move would really help make your game much more enjoyable.

The Tiny Gryphalope by bytegrove 2012-04-25T20:33:00

Great graphics! It can be a bit hard to know if you are hitting an enemy or not, and whether you are taking damage or not. If you sped the game up and aloud for evasive maneuvers, this would be awesome!

Puny World by villhest 2012-04-26T21:25:00

Fun little demo. Needs a goal to be a game. The graphics are decent enough. I like the artillery perspective. Maybe if the spaceship was descending to earth and you had so much time to take out the force field generators and perhaps dodge the missiles from the earthlings. Good start though. Keep it up. You'll get there.

To What a Mountain? by cageinabird 2012-05-10T23:45:00

Cute fun game of rampaging through the city. Fun references throughout

Trash Sprite by CapnMorgan 2012-05-04T05:01:00

After trying many times to beat the first car section I tried again on lower settings and was able to get past that, but couldn't get past the second car section. Instant respawning / respawn points or a dash would fix this, I think. Ducking under the cars didn't seem to work also.
Loved the idea behind this game, the character, the art and the presentation in general. The movement through the world could've been a little bit faster, but there's enough to soak in with this world that it's okay.

The Tiny Green World by Eamon 2012-04-27T20:01:00

The game fit in with the theme well, but I lost interest very quickly. It seems like there's only one rate to gain money, and that really limits the pace of the game when there's nothing to do but spend money.

Cricket in a Bottle by barcode 2012-04-25T21:36:00

The artwork looks great. I'm jealous! I liked how the game starts in the confines of the bottleneck looking out over the lush garden. When you are in the garden, the world becomes much bigger than you at first imagine, not only with the garden but also looking out into the lab as well. It was fun just jumping and looking around. I look forward to a fuller development of this project.

Delirium by Puccini 2012-04-24T17:00:00

The core mechanics are solid. The first level was very good at introducing me to the gameplay without banging them over my head. It would be nice if the level design could become more intricate where I have to choose how I should get to the end goal. Each choice would have its own consequences depending on which potion was available. Overall a solid polished if short experience. Nice job!

Kumiho by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2012-04-26T21:44:00

SCHMUPs and me go all the way back to galaga so this was definitely a treat. I love the art style, the teleport is brilliant, I love the enemies and animations. I really hope you make a standalone build. It'd be great to always have it available on my laptop.

Housefly by dacap 2012-04-28T03:37:00

This was hilarious! Very well done. I had a fit of uncontrollable laughter when I first woke the guy up. The controls are smooth and well done. I enjoy the change in perspective when you go to an area of interest. The animation was also enjoyable. The only problem is that it was too short and I wanted more interactions. I hope you expand on this cuz it was really super fun and hilarious!

DINO-CAB by EricTheCoolDude 2012-04-26T20:12:00

Fun little game. I'd recommend two slight changes: 1)the city might start out small so that getting around is easier at first and the city builds up over time so that it becomes harder 2) someway to control when you go into rampage mode. Overall, a very fun mechanic. Not enough destruction in the world :)

I Will Burn The Earth Down For You by EddieCameron 2012-04-28T03:16:00

Some people just like to watch the world burn! Good job

Stellar Nurse by Bleck 2012-04-26T22:30:00

Very fun game. It took me a bit to get the controls down, but really fun once you get started. It'd be cool if there was a depot station where you had to take the blocks rather than just having them disappear, and maybe have a money system where you could buy upgrades. But obviously it'll become a different game at that point, and what you have is very solid. Good job!

Colossal Creature crushes Tiny Town by cjke.7777 2012-04-29T03:02:00

Fun little game. This is really well done. The visuals are great. It'd be cool if the background was moving to the give the impression that your moving. And then you could have buildings come into view and then we smash those too. Great job!

Niña Nueve by Jonathan Whiting 2012-04-29T02:21:00

Very nice game. I really liked how death was used as a mechanic to progress further in the game. I love the little details like the pixel particles, the level transitions, the snake like thing from Zelda. I go back and forth on the ball (pun intended) as I can't decide if I like it or hate it. I'd almost rather have a more direct approach to killing baddies, altho that would have meant different puzzle mechanics, which I did love. The end battle was intense! Great job!

eat, sleep, work by dray 2012-04-25T20:23:00

I love the graphics. Definitely needs some instructions at the beginning. I recommend only having two digits for the timer as the milliseconds add more stress. Good job!

Searching for Heaven by demonpants 2012-04-26T18:10:00

This game was a lot of fun. I thought the controls were fairly intuitive except for the jumping. To make some of the jumps, you have to press space right when your not on the platform, which is not intuitive. I didn't know what to expect when I started playing, but the karma and character changing mechanic was really cool. I kept on playing just to see what else I could change into. The art might need some work, but I did like your rabbit animations. It seemed like you put more work into him than some of the others. Overall, very nice guys!

Snow Globe Kerfuffle by j_peeba 2012-04-25T20:12:00

Love how the theme is applied to the game ;) I like how the "space invaders" are trying to get out of the globe. Really like the curve effect. I thought it clever that you have to be careful with your ammo as you tend to do more damage to the globe then the enemies.

Destroy the Alien Planet by Tokken18 2012-04-25T21:40:00

That was short! The visuals are great. Definitely hope you plan on continuing to develop this further.

Life in jar by Simple Ghost 2012-04-26T23:05:00

Fun relaxing game. I so wanted to explore the environment and wish I could have selected a guy and send him off to parts unknown (in the glass jar). Good story.

Gravity Force 3 by refreshgames 2012-04-25T21:46:00

Were those spaceships as big as the world? Very nice game. The balance is definitely nicely tuned. Some additional effects would give it extra kick. Perhaps some power ups?

Our Small World by TellusE 2012-04-26T21:57:00

Interesting little game. Definitely need to improve on the controls as they are not very intuitive and work out some z-sorting issues. Keep it up.

Project Peace by ghRibacki 2012-05-04T04:46:00

The concept is fun and the aesthetics are alright, but the game needs more conflict either with enemies of some sort or the environment itself. If not that than make the climbing more fun somehow. I felt like I could power through the entire game by holding right and up. When you introduced iron you had a really good opportunity to add some interesting climbing puzzles, but nothing really came of it.
All that said, cute game, those little guys have spunk, and the idea of a giant landing on a tiny world is pretty cool, I just wish it were fleshed out a little more.

Invasion Of Tiny World by gregdevice 2012-04-25T21:55:00

Interesting gameplay. It's fun to see how far you can stretch the bot. Destroying the cities reminded me a bit of Rampage. It'd be cool if you came across intersections that allowed you to go a different different.

Stranded by The Evil Cult 2012-04-29T01:50:00

Awesome retro game. Looking forward to the post Jam version.

LD25 — You are the Villain

Abrupt Salvation by NostraDamon 2012-12-19T22:54:00

Really good game, level is for the most part designed well, sometimes I feel like my bombs can't reach and for the princess I used dynamite but it didn't do enough?
Overall I'd want to feel more mobile and more powerful, sometimes I feel like I'm only slightly shifting blocks. Well done however, you did a lot of good stuff for this game.

Alien Cow Kidnapper 2 by michax 2012-12-18T03:58:00

Wow, I really enjoyed playing this. The graphics and mood make the game quite beautiful. I played this on the web, but I imagine this would be quite fun to play on the phone (noting the movement pads). I wish there had been an end condition in this build... I played for about 10-15 mins and I noticed that encounters kept repeating. This game seems to have a lot of potential for mobile devices!

Great job!

A small village by EdoMiyamoto 2012-12-19T22:41:00

Fun game, wish the controls had been tweaked to be more fun and there were more challenges throughout the game. When the hero started firing at me I was surprised, but his shots were easily avoided. Slaughtering villagers is fun though.

Cursed Temple by SirJson 2012-12-21T19:01:00

I thought this was pretty fun. I wish there was a block function, though.

PsychoTherapist by char68 2012-12-21T18:48:00

This game is quite difficult. It seems like it has a lot of potential for fun if the difficulty ramped up a bit more slowly or it was a bit more forgiving (like the patient had a meter where he would wake up with too many mess ups). It's frustrating to lose the game immediately when you make one mistake.

The Legacy by Swofl 2012-12-21T19:18:00

Wow, this definitely hit an emotional nerve with me once all the graves showed up. It'd be interesting to know who the villain was, what his story was, and what he was feeling. I mean, I'm not a villain, so of course I felt sad. But does the villain feel any emotion?

Dr. Villano by GetFun 2012-12-21T19:06:00

Wow, this is great (I had a ton of fun)! I agree that the screams are loud, but the audio added a really nice touch to this game!

LD26 — Minimalism

The Room by olkeencole 2013-04-30T15:13:00

"Artist" for The Room team here.

Really glad to see all this great feedback! It's not for everyone, so I'm glad to see so many enjoying it!

@Ty Taylor, @PsenFilip: Yes, right now the Web Build is too large. Our sound files need to be encoded to something other than .WAV, and our texture sizes clamped, at least for the web build. I had the same failure error on my connection at home. We'll get a streamlined build up ASAP.

@TeeJay5: You guessed it. The environments are made from things from the Big Environment Packs from the Asset Store. I was paralyzed with finals work and only had time to model a button and UV map a potato. :( But we have amazing programmers/designers who were able to build awesome stuff. If you need some high quality models quickly, they're pretty good.

Persist by AdventureIslands 2013-05-01T17:39:00

Excellent entry! Very well done. It matched the theme very well yet the graphics were still very appealing. The character design was charming. Loosing your body parts was also a nice development in story and gameplay. Excellent music and sound as well.

One sticking point: the friction created when the player comes up against a wall in the air made a lot of the platforming frustrating. A lot of the challenge was there by design, but that extra element added unnecessary loss of control.

Overall: fantastic game!

The Lamp by Catman 2013-05-01T17:04:00

Excellent entry. Fits the theme well, fun to play, and the mood is well conveyed.

OIA by Jerre 2013-05-03T02:59:00

Surprisingly easy to pick up after you do a bit of reading and testing. Plenty of elements to consider when picking blocks. Like someone said above, it seems to be easiest when you clear the board and start from there. The music is much less fun that way, though.

Jump On Cube (flash) by Naram 2013-05-01T17:08:00

The concept is cool but the execution could be better. The camera controls are odd and it doesn't seem like the type of game is best suited to first-person. Besides that, solid concept and nice visual style.

TOOM by PoV 2013-04-30T05:08:00

Excellent art. Even if you didn't make the music, sometimes it's good knowing what you have that will fit the atmosphere. Fun gameplay. I was sad that it was so short. I really wanted to see other environments you might have made. Great job guys!

At Least I'm Alive by DangerPenguin 2013-05-01T23:51:00

Nice twist at the end. Good design and use of choice with your title theme. The minimalism is there, but it's not really pushed for any meaningful effect. Solid entry.

DREAM by BahamutZaero 2013-05-01T17:00:00

Fun concept and cool visual style. The cube controlled well and was fun to move around. I wish the text would have stayed on the screen a bit longer though. This could have been a lot better with some audio (and it was already pretty good). Also, your ending conflicts with the message of following your dreams. I was on board with everything until that kind of came out of nowhere. Otherwise solid entry.

Bladeless by kidevil 2013-04-30T04:20:00

Nice game! Really enjoy the art style and the game play. Fiendishly difficult at first, but very rewarding if you stick with it.

Stem by KevinLaity 2013-04-30T04:11:00

Beautiful little game. Love the idea. The controls are nearly spot on. I had some really close shaves with the flower bud. The music is really moves the game along. Really enjoy the art style. Great job guys!

The Quest for Philip's Glass by porglezomp 2013-04-30T20:55:00

Excellent game. The visual style is very satisfying and matches well with the theme. The gameplay is nothing new, but it's fun and well designed. The music is a nice choice. A mouse lock and cursor would have been nice, especially since this is based on looking and placing blocks.

Self by sittaman 2013-04-30T20:45:00

Interesting concept and well implemented; I got the idea right off the bat. I like how you gradually change in color the more you collide with "the crowd." The theme was prevalent but could have been pushed to a greater extent. Good job.

Double Hydra by CosmicAdventureSquad 2013-04-30T04:03:00

Games like these remind me just how simple they can be and still be fun, nice to look at and profound. I tend to make things too complicated all the time. Very polished game. The difficulty or pacing is an issue. One suggestion might be to break up the gameplay into levels. The first levels are getting the player comfortable with the gameplay and the other levels start adding difficulty. It would help to keep the player interest methinks. Overall, a great looking game!

Potatosimplificationarmaggedon by atlantian 2013-05-04T21:22:00

Nicely done! I can't tell you anything you haven't already done. The mouse is a bit sensitive, and the levels could use a bit more of a surprise element. But this is a superb job. I love your use of the clouds as platforms. It's fun figuring out what I need to do to get to the next potato. I look forward to your next game.

A Puzzling Composition by whilefun 2013-05-03T03:12:00

Pretty fun game! I like how the different colored obstacles did slightly different things. I can definitely see how putting a few more in with different effects (slowing the square down or something like that) could lead to other interesting puzzles.

METROCRAFT by gregdevice 2013-05-05T00:36:00

Great concept that was very well executed. You haven't really tested out Unity till you've made a block placing game. I feel like this game could really go somewhere. One commenter mention multiplayer which would be awesome. It'd be great if you could somehow blend the first person element with the puzzle mechanic. Right now, a mouse orbit would solve most of the control issues, but I really like the first person aspect. In later stages, I started just making platforms and jumping on them. Great job!

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Surf Camp: The Legend of the Surf Ace by GertJohnny 2014-04-29T04:14:00

This was tons of fun! You really recreated the 16 bit experience astoundingly well. I only wished there were more moves I could do. The speed and the arcs is very smooth and finely tuned. And very nice audio! I'll definitely be coming back to play this again later. Excellent job!

Deep Collective by olkeencole 2014-04-29T04:18:00

Sorry! Press F to toggle your flashlight.

Dark Depths by jwin 2014-04-29T13:27:00

Very nice gameplay. I like switching between the different functions of the sub. Small details like the seaweed really add to atmosphere. Well done!

Max Terror: Beach Patrol by tenpn 2014-04-29T05:10:00

This is awesome! Eating people and doing awesome shark stunts. Doesn't get much better than that. Well done guy!

Dark Soils by Grieve 2014-04-29T03:53:00

Simple mechanics but they work together very well. Excellent job! Perhaps more enemies to dodge would be nice like projectile throwing ghosts or something.

To Hell by tylerb1 2014-04-29T04:02:00

I can't seem to get pass the top hat dudes. Is there an issue with the raycast not hitting them? I can kill the first dude, but the dude in the room with the green door always kills me.

Aztec by Therrato 2014-04-29T23:27:00

Fun game! Would like to swing the sword more and perhaps have special moves (super spin attack!) . Also, I'm spoiled with camera controls. I need to control the camera. But engaging nonetheless. Great job!!!

SUBLEVEL ZERO by Lyje 2014-04-29T04:38:00

Great looking game! This game has so much potential. The mouse controls are a bit wonky, but nothing a bit of tweaking could solve. You should totally make a Mac build. I really enjoyed the audio and the graphics.

Sewer Rat Racer by Robber 2014-04-29T04:35:00

Very nice take on the theme. Really enjoyed the graphics. Controls could use some smoothing, but excellent job!

Under The Shade by sandbaydev 2014-04-29T14:11:00

Fun concept. With a bit more polish, this could be super addictive. You might consider just having some way to hang on to your tools. I could see myself easily losing the hammer.

Sail by DrPrettyPatty 2014-04-29T05:19:00

Beautiful game. Very nostalgic!

The Sunken Base by Emmanuel Ramos 2014-04-29T04:56:00

Really like the graphics. It took me a second to realize I had a flashlight. I thought it was some sorta of periscope at first. Great job though. The water really keeps you on edge.

CTS by Ping78 2014-04-29T03:56:00

Congrats on your first ludum dare! This is a worthy entry for sure. I like your cave structure. I would definitely recommend checking out Unity's new Sample Assets. Their first person controller is a bit smoother than the old one. Great job!

Ramen Master by RowdyGhosts 2014-04-29T04:17:00

Fun concept. You probably could've gone 'deeper' with it. Needs a bit more instruction at the beginning, and definitely make sure the drop targets are easily detectable.

Charly's Psyche by Nizar89 2014-04-29T04:41:00

Awesome graphics. Controls need some work. Please give me control of the camera. Other than that, great game!

Cosmic Layers by Snowflower 2014-04-29T04:33:00

Beautiful game. I want it to last longer!

Another Day at Work by Evil Scotsman 2014-04-29T04:46:00

Fun little game. I always like simple graphics like these. With the overhead voice, I always expected to turn and find someone looking over my shoulder.

Erutcarf by Collan 2014-04-29T04:24:00

Really needs the ability to rotate the camera.

The Search For Sting's Desert Rose Beneath The Surface (feat. Bananas) by Quady14 2014-04-29T05:15:00

Why am I holding a banana? Should I trade it for the rose?

Something Fishy by StabAlarash 2014-04-29T05:02:00

Great job! Love the art. Simple but excellently implemented game play. The fishy movements really added to the atmosphere.

Sky sea by Oye Beto 2014-04-29T14:01:00

This got me pumping. Needs just some tuning on the player speed, but this was fun and exciting. I really liked just being thrown into the action. Well done!

Shells by IndieST 2014-04-29T04:50:00

Good job! Really like the concept.

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Tiny's Adventure in TV Land by Kate Kligman 2014-12-09T03:09:00

Very cute. The cloud platforms was a nice twist, and I enjoy how you told a story through it all. Simple yet elegant!

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Home Defence by ZQMony 2015-04-28T20:46:00

Dude! This is sweet! I always love the idea of interacting with the environment in order to get weaponry. Great job!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Amyounition by HacksawUnit 2016-04-19T02:02:00

It's games like this that jams are made for. I thoroughly enjoyed the gun mechanic. I thought I was stuck at one point, but I realized I could shoot diagonal. Love the graphics. Love the gameplay. I actually super enjoy having to go back to fetch the gun again. And I really LOVE the smash attack. That's very juicy! Great job!!!

Cow Duck Fever by 16BitsOfAwesome 2016-04-19T03:54:00

Ha! This is great. The switch mechanic really adds fun reflex twister. I kept getting tripped up over two simple buttons. But I never got frustrated. Great job!

A82-Recon 3038 by Geti 2016-04-19T03:50:00

Very clever of you! There's no actual shape shifting in the game, but the plot nonetheless revolves around it. Splendid! I like how you take one of my favorite Futurama episodes as well.
Seriously tho. I played this like 8 times. I got other games I need to vote on, but you sucked me in! And the art is simple, but super effective. Great job!!!

The Quest for the Lindworm by ZYXer 2016-04-19T04:17:00

Nope! 592 seconds lol. But I DID beat it! Which is more than I can say for some other entries. I couldn't put this down! What a great spinoff of breakout! I really wonder how did you get the look? What kind of shader is that? Great job guys!

Project G.R.I.L.L. by vctr_seleucos 2016-04-19T03:38:00

This Way To Cave Party by davidcmcdonald 2016-04-19T01:52:00

Way to go, Dave! Fun and playable always gets the job done! The ability to poke fun at yourself as a developer goes a long way! Great job!

L.I.G.H.T. by Flygamer101 2016-04-19T02:39:00

Definitely a lot to grasp in a short amount of time. Love the graphics! Concept is great.

Shadowshifter by Ilseroth 2016-04-19T02:48:00

Very cool! Great idea for the graphics! I really enjoyed it. The mouse does seem a bit on the quick side tho. Great job!

Wlobbie (Demo) by HeliosStudio 2016-04-19T03:36:00

Awesome idea! The art is great in this game and I really like the idea of the house changing as you go through. Great job!

Atomic Backyard Chaos by MestreRothWP 2016-04-19T02:08:00

Great art and sound! You really put a lot of work into it. It might need just a bit of more action choices for the player, but what you guys have is not bad at all. Keep it up!!!

De Skogen by Aidan Markham 2016-04-19T03:27:00

At first the wind was loud, but the music quickly meshed with the ambiance and I was moving along mostly to just hear the music play. The sound of the wind nearly took me to a zen like state. Well done!

Exhuman by Arvydas 2016-04-19T02:32:00

Why is it low poly games just look so damn good! The graphics are great. Very jealous! lol. Keep up the good work guys! I'll definitely be keeping up with.

Dustin Finamore by fin_nolimit 2016-04-19T03:40:00

I enjoyed the art and simple mechanics. The sound gets a bit annoying after awhile tho. Quite fun!

Blobidy Blob by alsantour 2016-04-19T05:00:00

Very cool! The graphics are pretty slick. Did you use cloth physics for the blob? It's pretty innovative!

Shape-Shift by der_wisch 2016-04-19T02:25:00

Not bad at all if you did this in a day. Maybe I should force myself to make a game in a day next jam session. It just needs some juiciness to really make it tick. Good job!

Jugales by OrangePop 2016-04-19T03:12:00

This was a great concept! One of those ones where you have to say to yourself "why didn't I think of that?" The hammer meter was also great idea. I probably would've just put in a simple binary input, but the meter adds much more to it. Great job!

Combibox by pogo 2016-04-19T04:56:00

Super cool! Great graphics and SMOOOOOTH camera controls. Pretty addictive too. Great job guys!

LD36 — Ancient Technology

The Unreal Odyssey by cushycode 2016-08-30T14:23:00

Very cool. I'm a big fan of the Odyssey so naturally I would like this. I really like the look of the water. The draw distance I found a bit weird. My brain wants a point of interest, but there's little of that in the world. I think if you had points of interest that worked in conjunction with the map, then you'd have a pretty cool dynamic.

Force of Wheel by qzqxq 2016-08-31T00:08:00

Ha! I'd say it fits the theme very well, considering DOS-like or 4-bit games are like "ancient technology" to most of us with PS4s and iPhones.

Very cool idea! I love seeing what people can still do with such simple graphics.

Pharaoh's Awakening by Reversal Mirror 2016-08-31T01:35:00

Great job on the graphics and you really scored on the ominous mood. I will this and hopefully I don't come off too harsh. Every first person with mouse interaction needs a cursor. It helps anchor me because its actually very hard for my mind to know what the center screen is. Also, please keep run in. I know you think that might have destroyed the mood you wanted, but trust me, you nailed the mood, but when I have to walk down a hallway that takes 5 seconds, frustration begins to mount and no amount of mood inducing light and sound is going to help with that. I hope I don't sound too much like a d#$k, but yeah. You got something special going so keep on going. :)

Advance by Pikas96 2016-08-30T18:21:00

I really like the sprite art in this and the movement is smooth for the most part. I agree with the first guy, me running around with tech falling every which way and trying to "avoid" it is the story of my life. And also the camera shakes. Great job!

Ancient Contact by Volcanic Giraffe 2016-08-30T23:44:00

I love the art here. This would make for a really cool tower defense like game for the phone or ipad where you have to find resources but also protect the tower. And I like how you have to take the offensive using the very items you need to consume. Great job!! I hope ya'll keep working on this.
And I love developer keys. 1-6 spawn different items.

Stone Giant by MirrorPolygons 2016-08-31T00:33:00

Nice little Castle in the Sky vibe there. Very neat. You definitely nailed it on the passage of time feeling.

Ancient Island Simulator 2016 by TeslaCools 2016-08-30T23:59:00

This is pretty slick. I like how you boiled the resource management game into such a simple yet effective package. I think I ran into an issue where I couldn't re-assign tools and no one was spawning. But I like it.

Knocker-Upper by Neonable 2016-08-31T00:04:00

Lot everyone else is saying, amazing art. Really goes together nice with the game play. Really shows how you can liven up a simple genre with a bit of imagination.

One thing that would be cool is if you get money for everyday on the job (subtracting out the peas used and employees missed) and then get cool upgrades and addons. Excellent work!!Super jealous!

Artifex by DeltaEngine 2016-08-30T04:53:00

It seems like this jam was made for classicists lol! This is really great. A bit tricky at first, but lots of fun. I really like the art too. And the clouds and the wind. It all came together for a great effect. Great job guys!

Pyramid by metalhaze 2016-08-31T01:13:00

You integrated 3D and 2D really well. I'm kinda jealous honestly as I love 2D platformers. The upgrade system was really fun to play with. I kept trying to get my power up as much as possible. You might consider thinking about the relationship of enemies to levels. Right now it feels like you just place enemies around and even piles of them which requires me to spam, which is a tad bit boring. The sentry towers might've been just a tad too quick too. Overall, great job!

Backwoods Culinary Basics by skreeb 2016-08-31T01:58:00

I actually made my own cooking game awhile back and it was quite boring compared to this. How are you doing the interpolation with the food? Are you using physics? Spring? It feels so good and juicy. And the art fits its perfectly. Great job guys!

Desert Strife by HuvaaKoodia 2016-08-30T04:06:00

Very nice! It's simple but not too simple and a cool concept to boot! I don't think I'd have the courage to tackle a turn based game during ludum dare, but you pulled it off. Well done!

Chatty by DaleP 2016-08-31T00:35:00

Yeah, I'm using Chrome and I can't seem to create my screen name. Is there a permissions issue maybe?

BOBBLE by MRLIGHT234 2016-08-30T05:08:00

Cute little platformer. Wish I had a controller with me as the keyboard is a bit awkward for me on a platformer, but like the concept and the effects.

WindPowered! by Guennor 2016-08-30T23:49:00

I really like the art and I think it controls pretty well. I did the webgl version but I also downloaded the APK and will try it out on android. I dare say this would make for a high quality android game (compared to a lot of other stuff on google play.) Great job!!!

Crossbow Assassin by Doppp 2016-08-31T01:18:00

I gotta say, simple yet effective. You worked the level design in such a way that I either snipe through or do a quick hit and run, which makes me feel like a bad ass assassin. Nice job!

Anzu: Revelation by Polith Games 2016-08-31T01:40:00

I love the atmosphere and the graphics. Serious. I like this type of art better than most photo-realistic stuff. I wish I could find more first person games in this type style. IAnd yes! For jams, don't worry too much about "short" games. That's the most beneficial both in terms of time management both on the developer's end and us gamers. Great job!!!

Homecoming by adaFish 2016-08-31T00:22:00

Very cool. I just got done playing Firewatch which is very Gone Home-eqse, and I could definitely use more games like this.

Five Ancient Keys by Cody Hansen 2016-08-30T04:27:00

Slick. I like your little character animations. Having the hair bounce is really cool.

Dinosty Warriors by PeachTreeOath 2016-08-31T00:19:00

This GAME! The graphics are so simple and yet the its so intoxicating. The camera shake and destruction really hook you, but man! when you start spawning new dinosaurs it becomes an addiction to see how big you can make your dino army. well done! This is a feel good game that's great to come back to. Thanks for making it!

Topeka Jones: Raider of the Lost Temple by TeamKawaiiju 2016-08-30T04:37:00

Great graphics! I can't get enough of them. I always love 3D when it is done well. I'm super jealous! The picking up mechanic is great and really liking the puzzles. Only needs a crosshair I think. I will be coming back to this one for sure.

Heat Up! by PanicTheFirst 2016-08-30T03:57:00

This is a great concept. Archimedes was actually the first thing that popped into my head when the theme was announced. I could see a really cool tower defense game from this mechanic. Well done!

Lost Temple by Dietrich Epp 2016-08-30T05:40:00

I'm always impressed with the cool stuff people do with simple art and mechanics. Goes to show how much farther I still have to go to being a good game developer. Great job! I enjoyed the game very much.

Search for the Bygone by sudojess 2016-08-30T23:29:00

Pretty cool. Your sky shader is not functioning in the webgl version. You might need to preload the shaders under the Graphics settings and also try preloading them in the build settings for good measure. I had a similar issue with shaders when I first built to webgl.

I love the title. Really fits in the with the atmosphere you were going for.

Colossorama 36 by JorgeGameDev 2016-08-31T01:26:00

Dang, just doesn't seem like a fair competition when I encounter someone with great sprite art. I wish someone would make a really "good" game about gladiatorial combat. And this ain't bad!

This would be really cool on the iPad. I'd get it for sure.

LD38 — A Small World

FUEL by KCreanor 2017-05-01T14:26:18Z

Very cool! Simple yet super effective. I don't know what it is, but navigating around the sphere is very satisfying. The only thing I would say, critique-wise, is that it might be nice to have a subtle texture on the sphere -- in the first level I didn't realize I was going around the sphere because it all looked the same. Granted, when you get walls in later areas, this is a big deal. Great job!!!

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Radiation Sickness by olkeencole 2017-12-18T07:51:38Z

I'm so sorry guys. I didn't realize the itch.io was still in draft mode. :(
