Like what you have so far, I restarted a few times til I figured out the right build order. But then there's the depressing end to the fun when resources are gone :(

Interesting concept - kind of like the resource gathering part of an RTS but without the combat. Things were chugging along and then suddenly my whole screen filled with crops and the game froze? I never got more than four people, either.

I like the idea of a resource gathering survival game, and you've got a good start but there is still room for improvement. The UI could use some work; like moving the prices of tools next to their buttons. Also I couldn't get more than four people on the island, which brought the game to an end quicker than expected. Cool idea though.

This could be a fun concept if fleshed out more. I love island survival games and would love a micromanagement sim like this! I got the explosion of crops as well after just having one hoe and waiting awhile.

Fun Game And Interesting Concept. The Only Changes that I'd Make is add animals. But it is a great start

Well done. I like the concept. I'd really want some main-screen display of my resources at the very least, so I don't have to click on the shrine all the time to see if I can do something ;)

Cool game but it seems a bit unbalanced. If you're not careful it become actually impossible to grow your population (and that might actually be the point for all i know).
Food production doesn't feel like it's scaling correctly. Also there sem to be some pathfinding bugs: sometimes my workers don't seem to be able to see the last couple of trees/rocks remaining and just stand there, other times when they go to the shrine (to eat?) they just phase through matter in a straight line.
Very good job though!

Nice concept and cool minimalistic graphics. The resource amount text was bugged for me and showed a floating number one time. Also it does not always fit into the box. It would also be nice, if you could see which tool each person was using. And if you could replace their tools. The fields are sometime created in the water. Otherwise it#s a fun little game. Now all it needs is a couple more different tools, resources and progression to be a full grown game :D Nice work!

Nice concept. It would be good to see what tool the person has equiped.

Few bugs I've noticed:
- When the person is standing in the shrine, you are unable to assign them a tool, because it opens shrine
- Sometimes the number of resources was not rounded and showed something like 14.99999997777

The game feels pretty empty after all of the resources are gone. I cant figure out how to get new people. Food decreases but nobody spawns. After the resources are gone is there something else to do? Otherwise This game isn't really fleshed out. However, good work on completing a game.

Not bad, pathfinding works well. Can you gain new villagers? My game ended with one woodcutter, one stonecutter and three farmers, but no population growth.

Good work! :)

It has little glitches but its very enjoyable game.

psilon 2016-08-30 08:52

Interesting concept, with a larger maps it's would be great. Too soon there are no wood and stone, i had 1 woodcutter 1 miner (they don't farm the last resources), 3 farmer, 3 without work.

Assigned one man a hoe, gave others axes and pickaxes. Soon everyone died except the man with a hoe and he could provide food only for himself :)
If you expand the map and give ability to change tools on people - it could become interesting time killer ;)

This is pretty slick. I like how you boiled the resource management game into such a simple yet effective package. I think I ran into an issue where I couldn't re-assign tools and no one was spawning. But I like it.
