LD21 — Escape

Flee Buster by ChevyRay 2011-09-06T23:11:00

Sooooooo good. The controls are absolutely perfect. I got 93, but I'm definitely coming back for me when I don't have work in the morning...

Victory by refrag 2011-08-22T12:37:00

Loved it... I like how the extra "theme" came in nice and gradual - caught me by surprise before I'd realised what I was doing! It would be cool to have some sort of repercussions for taking the easier way out though...

Fragmentation by Riley Adams 2011-08-23T21:00:00

I didn't think the controls were overly complex - I got to grips with them pretty much straight away. Also, I assumed the whole "falling out of the level" thing was a feature meaning the destruction had caught up with you.. maybe I'm wrong!

Anyway I thought it was pretty awesome and once you get a high speed going its pretty intense!

Cut Here by timgarbos 2011-08-27T16:56:00

Really cool! Needs a lose condition when you fall out of a level though...

Rainbow Jail by Benjamin 2011-09-06T00:03:00

Beautifully polished game, but I'd definitely need some simpler levels to start with!

BitScape Goat by daandruff 2011-08-22T12:25:00

Awesome job! Loved the music and the style! Nice puzzles too...

The Villainous Villa by EricTheCoolDude 2011-08-23T13:34:00

Loads of fun... music was superb!

Red Rover by d_m 2011-08-28T14:42:00

The music is absolutely awesome...

EvilMegaCorp by leksapeksa 2011-08-23T13:05:00

Needs a restart button, pretty badly... but pretty good fun nonetheless! I quite liked the graphics, they reminded me of playing games in Windows 95 when I was a kid (sorta like capture the flag: http://www.carrsoft.com/ctf/capture_the_flag_game.html).

The Trap by gufftan 2011-08-27T16:30:00

Good fun! I actually liked the fact that some puzzles were only solvable via a respawn, it gave the game a unique gameplay mechanic, on the two occasions that I noticed it!

Escape Velocity by Murphy 2011-08-22T12:05:00

Aaaarrrgh... that S-shaped room (in the screenshot) is a killer. Couldn't get past it...Good fun though!

I also went with "Escape Velocity" as the name ... so I had to come scope out the competition ;)

Asplosions! by blahoink 2011-08-22T12:06:00

Good fun! I completed it. I'm awesome.

Daring Do! by jwfrosty 2011-08-25T13:19:00

Really really enjoyed this. I had to stifle quite a bit of swearing while playing this at work! Good difficulty level for me

The Cell by kevglass 2011-08-23T20:18:00

Devious puzzles! This is definitely one of my faves so far. And probably the one that's kept me playing longest.

Escape the Zombie Horde by Spoonweaver 2011-08-30T12:54:00

Nice! Cool variation on The Oregon Trail... I particularly enjoyed catching zombie aids (twice... xD).

It does need some control during the game to spice it up. Also, its incredible hard to judge the amounts to take if you don't find out how close you got on your last attempt. I never made it to the base sadly... :(

Escapism by Dramble 2011-08-27T15:53:00

Mucho likey! Could benefit from some fail conditions (for running out of money or energy). I really got into escape the zombies (I think I got about 1,300,000 in the end)

.: The Escapist :. by Jorjon 2011-08-22T12:15:00

Hahaha... I enjoyed the crowds measured, rational reactions.

ESCAPE by Armageddon 2011-08-27T16:01:00

The infini-jump could be a pretty innovative feature, if there were some obstacles above, to make it not seem like cheating. Liked the graphics (there's something strangely enjoyable about playing a tiny character who can jump around like a flea)

Help! I'm trapped in a compact 2D Riemannian manifold! by mikolalysenko 2011-08-28T14:53:00

Really, really cool. Tricky as hell to control though!

=-=Solar Escape=-= by Lenthan 2011-08-22T12:13:00

Me likey! Made me want to smash up my keyboard a little bit though :) - couldn't get up to escape velocity (is it possible??)

LD23 — Tiny World

Balance by hadesfury 2012-04-24T11:09:00

Wow, love the landscape the game looks awesome! I kept getting stuck around the corners when trying to go uphill, but otherwise very cool.

Also, looks like great minds think (slightly) alike:
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-23/?action=preview&uid=5017

;)

The Story of a World by Mårten Jonsson 2012-04-26T10:28:00

Really cool entry, closer to what I originally had in mind than my own entry! :)

Five by Five by eventhandler 2012-05-13T15:32:00

Really nice, innovative little puzzle game. If you fleshed this out a little more and added rotation you could have something really simple but brilliant.

Grow by Zerot 2012-04-26T16:54:00

Really cool! I liked the music too. At first I didn't realize that the sunlight affected growth (in fact I just completely did not see the instructions down the bottom at the start, but maybe I'm just blind). I'm glad I went back after reading these comments, the people building up their houses was really cool.

Planet Trot by Logan 2012-04-26T17:00:00

The game was cool, however I'm getting a virus warning for this in the exe: http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2000-121911-5753-99

It appeared after a minute or so of playing it which was odd. In case you are wondering this is the only game from the competition that I've downloaded.

Stampede at the Crooked Thorax Ranch by mimshwright 2012-04-26T19:00:00

Loved it! The different layers do an awesome job of escalating the tension as they get near.

Tiny Shogi 48 by Codexus 2012-04-26T20:52:00

This is AMAZING. I love the title music, the graphics, the game, everything! I didn't even have to look at any instructions to figure out how to play (I've never actually heard of shogi until now). Unbelievably good entry!

The Office by Mirroar 2012-04-26T09:49:00

Got stuck trying to work out how to get a coffee for Matt. Its a cool concept but I think it needs a bit more hinting towards what you need to be doing.

Also, I couldn't see any reason why registration was necessary.

Super Strict Farmer by Benjamin 2012-05-13T14:34:00

Brilliant! Puts my entry to shame!

Memento XII by deepnight 2012-04-25T10:28:00

Outstanding

Trees of Life by pragmascript 2012-04-25T10:35:00

I liked the style, and the tree growth was really, really cool. Makes me want to try making some similar organic growth in Unity. Adding some sound effects and giving visual feedback when you take damage would go a long way.

Tiny Planet by CherryNukaCola 2012-04-26T10:09:00

Boom!

Aloft by Mark Ffrench 2012-04-24T14:52:00

@jrasmussen24 That's an interesting idea, I hadn't thought of using hotkeys. I'm planning to scrap the buttons in the post-compo version and have the construction integrated into the game world somehow, but hotkeys could definitely be handy.

@kroltan If there was one more feature I could have added before the time limit, it would have been a wider catchment area for the mouse, I agree! :) The other layers will definitely be involved in the future (with the ability to build underground)

Thanks for playing!

Aloft by Mark Ffrench 2012-04-26T10:30:00

Thanks guys, I'm planning do re-do the gameplay in a post-compo version to focus less on swinging the mouse around madly collecting resources, and more on building and upgrading bits :)

@Toast - I really like that idea, I might use it to let the player reveal other hidden resources underground!

Shoebox World by sanojian 2012-04-30T23:51:00

Really really cool. The intro comic strip made me laugh, and the game overall was really fun to play. Good music too!

Tiny God by davidwparker 2012-05-01T00:04:00

Sorry, nothing but a black screen for me... (That said, I managed to blow up 20 planets in five seconds, so I'm pretty sure I'm so awesome at this game I don't even need graphics!)

Little boy controls american Drone by havchr 2012-04-25T10:39:00

Cool concept, and I the youtube frame is brilliant. Excellent music too - I stopped shooting halfway so I could just listen to it :)

Tiny World God by Lawrence Esswood 2012-04-25T10:47:00

So much fun to play with! I couldn't work out how to get more stardust though?

LD24 — Evolution

Survival of Polyminos by Kalabasa 2012-09-10T17:38:00

I love this, brilliantly innovative. It's crying out for some sound effects/music and an on-screen indication of how you rotate pieces (for impatient people like me that don't read instructions :) )

Antvolution by Zaxuhe 2012-09-06T17:20:00

A nice little sim! The ant's pathfinding seemed to work really, really well. Needs a bit more complexity, but great work in the time!

DNA by KEFIR 2012-09-01T16:16:00

Great fun! There's something about collecting things... even if they're just "yellow things", that is so addictive!

Mutate Now! by goerp 2012-09-10T17:24:00

Short and sweet! :D

The Sky in the Room by Porpentine 2012-08-28T18:01:00

Amazeballs!

Evo... launch-ion? by Mark Ffrench 2012-08-29T10:35:00

Dooooh - posted this in a rush! Hitting Enter restarts!!

LD25 — You are the Villain

The life of a Boss by Jiddo 2012-12-18T18:41:00

Awesome game! Took me a little while to work out what I was supposed to be doing at first, but once I did it was loads of fun! A nice, polished entry :)

Abrupt Salvation by NostraDamon 2012-12-29T11:47:00

The game looks great, and the explosions effects are awesome. I don't think its really fair to use a ripped sigur ros track as your music, but it does give the game a nice feel, so I ranked you high on mood instead of audio.

If you optimized the physics code, and had your own music and sound effects this game would probably be all 5*'s from me!

Cure 48 by SonnyBone 2012-12-18T19:00:00

Nice style and music. Found the large blobs a little frustrating as they seemed to line up to attack me just a few pixels to low for me to strike back. Otherwise a pretty cool entry!

CYBERQUEEN by Porpentine 2012-12-22T12:20:00

Horrific and brilliant entry! Even better than your last. I always have time for a bit of Shodan, but this is far, far darker stuff than system shock. It even had some great prometheus surgery-scene vibes. My only criticism (and I feel like a huge pedant considering the quality of the writing), is that there's a typo in aerosol!

2012: Mayan Revenge by littleball 2012-12-20T13:45:00

Amazingly good fun! I have literally no criticisms!

Super realistic meteor simulator by rolfeth 2012-12-18T19:17:00

SUPER SPEED!!! :)

Music and sounds were great, probably would have preferred keyboard controls. But the game was a blast!

SIRTET by Atomic 2012-12-18T21:42:00

Incredible! Not only did you code a game, you built a console to play it own... mind: blown

Sword Beats Vampire by Certainty 2012-12-20T13:38:00

Pretty cool! I couldn't work out how the hide action worked, do you need to do it when you're in front of certain areas? I liked how the music sped up towards the end

Journey Of Evil by jayhC 2012-12-29T11:15:00

Man, I'm sorry... I tried and tried, but I just couldn't work out how to kill anything! I liked the villager characters and the daft comments that pop up over their heads though.

Notoriety by TheMelon 2012-12-19T13:43:00

Very cool presentation and interpretation of the theme. Would have liked to have a better idea of what my goals were and how I was doing. But pretty cool overall, nice moody music too!

Fragmentorum by blackotus 2012-12-20T13:54:00

Very atmospheric, and really cool visual style! Incredibly trippy when the music starts playing backwards! Great job!

Defend Your Treasure by tobbez 2012-12-18T19:07:00

Pretty cool, especially when I came back to this page and noticed that there was an upgrades button in the game (no idea how I missed that the first time).

Managed to pummel a few heroes with upgraded spike traps.

Would be great to have feedback on how long your spike your traps are going to last, and how much the upgrades and traps are going to cost. Also the attacks might be better broken up into waves so you have more of a sense of achievement for holding them off.

I liked the way they hurled themselves at high speed around the level, scrabbling towards your hoard! :)

Knights of Uruk by Mark Ffrench 2012-12-20T15:47:00

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'll hopefully be posting an update later this evening to fix the graphic glitches and to make sure the swordsman units (wearing brown) have the right idle animation (they're currently carrying a spear)

The White Rabbit by kato9 2012-12-29T11:08:00

Its a shame there's not a bit more to it, as the presentation and sound are very good indeed. Visually it reminded me of a brighter version of Cactus' old game "Mondo medicals".

Bad Ufo by dsoft20 2012-12-18T19:13:00

I gave the Android version a try on Galaxy S3, worked great (although the UI is pretty tiny, I had the same problem with my game on that phone) The crop circle drawing is great, I wish the android controls were a bit tighter so that I could actually draw stuff! Music was great too :)

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Count2Ten by mboaj 2013-08-29T17:33:00

Nice presentation, and a surprisingly fun idea!

sine by timtipgames 2013-08-27T12:29:00

very nicely executed!

The King's spin by Mironix 2013-08-28T17:31:00

Welp, there certainly was some nice lightmapping :)

Subject 18120 by deammer 2013-08-28T17:26:00

Lots of fun, love some of the death animations!

Gauntlet: A Series of Ten Second Strategies by OkayHughes 2013-08-28T17:51:00

Very impressive, the visual style and building models are really nice, and the concept is great. I was also really impressed with the pathfinding, the character seems to have no problems navigating those winding staircases.

The player needs to get a good idea where their character is before the timer starts I think, but overall a great job.

Run with the Revolution by local minimum 2013-08-29T17:52:00

Pretty good fun! I thought the platforming might be easier with a narrower FOV, its currently quite hard to work out your exact position. You could even give some lee-way by allowing jumps for a short period after the player has technically moved off of a platform. It sounds like cheating, but will feel fairer.

From a level design perspective it would be really cool to allow high-risk shortcut dives between the different levels. And having hard-to-reach powerups is more fun when they don't interrupt the flow of each level - (so less backtracking to get them and more tricky platforming).

Great work!

QuickHunt by MvdLaar 2013-09-03T12:23:00

Awesome visual style, sound effects maybe need a bit more punch.

The Dollhouse Curse by Saf 2013-09-03T07:58:00

Nice clean art style, and I thought the match-two gameplay was pretty innovative. I lost a couple of times because I couldn't see which doll I was walking towards until it was too late, and I had an incorrect match. The fog of war and lighting effects are nice and add a lot. Good job!

Cutting Challenge by Ken Ichi 2013-08-28T17:45:00

Nice... its a shame the theme of this contest gets in the way of actually enjoying the game!

The controls probably need to be a bit more forgiving for mouse input than they would be for touchscreen. Could be a lot of fun with a longer play time, more objects to cut, combo multipliers etc.

Nicely done

Time to Die by RoyBatty 2013-08-28T17:41:00

Bah, wish I had someone here to play this with... liked the music and the amusing characters.

Technically I think this kinda stuff needs to go in a post-compo version though:
* Changed background music.
* Added sound effects to title screen.
* Removed placeholder platform sprites.

Barricade by AdamHarte 2013-09-03T07:52:00

Pew Pew Pew!! Die you froggy robot things! Good fun, though I do have RSI now. Would be great to have some area of effect weapons now and again, and to be able to hold down to shoot.

Harvest in 10 Seconds by Atridas 2013-08-27T12:36:00

I really like the art style and music, but I wasn't really able to discover any recipes apart from the basic harvesting actions. Some instructions would be really helpful for working out things like how many ingredients are needed in a recipe, maybe with one or two examples. Couldn't work out what the building ingredient represented, and how it needed to be used.

Just needs some instructions and it could be fun! :)

Space Rift by GFM 2013-09-03T08:09:00

Nice little shmup! Nice work getting some varied boss patterns in there and the new ship added some replay value (Although I wasn't sure exactly what the difference was, faster bullets?)

LD28 — You Only Get One

PixelSurgeon by ponk 2013-12-17T13:22:00

Very very cool, and gross, and innovative, and gross! Awesome job! :D

Go Long!! by Andrew Brophy 2013-12-18T13:32:00

lol.... I have no idea what just happened, but it made me laugh!

Rewind by Nucleartree123 2013-12-17T09:15:00

The core gameplay, but probably needs a little bit more complexity as time goes on, so the player doesn't get bored. It'd probably be better if the upgrades changed how the game played, rather than just adjusting the stats slightly. But good job on getting a html5 game working on mobiles, I played on ipad, and it worked very well - although tiny! :)

faif by Beavl 2013-12-24T11:47:00

Nice little puzzle game, the post-compo version is gorgeous!

Ultra Volleyball Impact by Poupi 2013-12-17T13:27:00

Wowsers trousers, this is outstanding! I'm confused though, is the music by one of your team, or not?

Bombevo by harsanalif 2013-12-17T08:40:00

Nice work, seemed to work well on ipad, which is very cool.

Probably would be more fun without the theme, so that you can have longer battles against the UFO with more than one shot.

Agent Idaho by Mark Ffrench 2013-12-17T12:38:00

eeeehhh... the driving wasn't supposed to be too easy, but maybe I went to far the other way :)

I'd like for the steering to straighten out when your not hitting the keys, but that'll probably need to be a post-compo feature... Thanks for playing! :)

Code Tower by madmaw 2013-12-17T09:04:00

Worked really, really well on ipad. A pretty innovative puzzle game! And taught me Polish notation, which is pretty awesome. Would definitely play if it was on the App Store, good job! :)

Le Artilleur by sanojian 2013-12-17T08:52:00

Oooooh.... This is almost perfectly playable on ipad! Any chance of patching in the ability to click around the cannon to move it? :)

I still managed to play for a fair while, getting lucky with rebounds! lol

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Lythom 2013-12-17T09:25:00

Nice implementation of the theme! The gameplay needs a bit more complexity, I never really had to make an hard decisions about who to send to bed, I just sent whoever was most tired. I think to make this work, each dwarf needs to have their own unique way of interacting with the mining ( maybe one prevents cave-ins, one boosts everyone else's productivity, one moves ore out to a stockpile, etc... Also might be good to have random events that deplete and refill the dwarves energy bars, to make it less predictable.

I enjoyed the drawings though, who is the guy with a tree in front of his head?? :D

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Lythom 2013-12-17T09:25:00

Oh I almost forgot, I played this on ipad and it worked great, good job!

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Octopus ! by Monoquartz 2014-05-03T08:47:00

I like the art and music, and the controls felt pretty good. But I wasn't at all clear on whether I was supposed to be ramming the boats from below or jumping on top of them, or how to use the shield.

Also I couldn't tell how the resources in the top right, the icons you collect, and the prices in the shop related...

ASCII: Beneath the Surface by Recon 2014-04-30T12:41:00

pretty cool! Took me a minute to realise that the popups were separate processes and that I should allow windows to fire them up, but that just added to the hacking aesthetic :)

Couldn't get past the red floor (if there was a way past).

Good fun!

They Lurk Beneath by Nega Drive 2014-04-29T12:25:00

Nice artwork, I really like the look of the huge red spider things dragging your ships down. Would have liked a health bar or something for the cities, its not obvious whether you're dealing any damage to them. Weapon upgrades would be great too, the player weapon seems pretty puny! A solid entry!

Amongst the Sand & Spice by ghostmaple 2014-05-03T08:24:00

walk without rhythm, and we won't attract the worm...

NOMNOMNOM

Ant Vision by frickajr 2014-05-03T09:14:00

I really like this, the tunnel crawling works really well (I even had to have a look at your source to work out how on earth you'd done it). And emerging out onto the surface is an awesome experience. Would be great if there were other AI ants that followed you, and you could set up routes.

Cubulis by Brodenino 2014-05-02T12:53:00

Really good fun and the music is awesome! :)

the vole beneath by mcapraro 2014-04-30T07:35:00

MOAR LEVELS :)

Really nice presentation and sound though

The Money Beneath Our Ground by João Kucera 2014-04-30T08:28:00

Nice graphics and sound, though growth animations would be awesome. The main challenge at the moment seems to be not avoiding spending too much to be able to continue growing crops, which I'm not 100% convinced is all that fun. Maybe needs a longer chain of production where you need to carefully balance supplies along the way?

pixel bat attack by enderosc 2014-04-30T07:15:00

Awesome work! I won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

They Came For My Mushrooms by D2FXRayG 2014-05-03T11:32:00

This is great, the way you put together the music as the difficulty increases is really clever. I think I'd prefer it if without the slowdown when you're carrying 5 mushrooms. It might be better with tile-based movement, but I'm not sure.

Overall, pretty great!

Killer Driller: Enemy Beneath by Bownly 2014-05-03T11:40:00

Not bad! I'm not sure there's any need for the player to take damage from the monsters, the cities are the only health bar you really need. By the end I was just defending a single city, spamming the fire button into the center, with no chance of losing, so it needs some sort of mechanic to avoid things getting into that dead end.

I thought the music wasn't too bad once in the game! Good work :)

Beneath the clouds by simplesmiler 2014-05-03T11:54:00

Nice! Shame there's no audio, some music would really lift this up. The ballon physics and art (as other people have pointed out) are great, it almost seems a shame to include them in a game with so little interactivity, but I think what you were trying to get across worked. Good job!

Captain P by Ryan up in here 2014-05-03T08:40:00

Awww.... no turret!? :_(
Would be great to see some more work done on this, its a cool concept.

FISH! by poxpoxpox 2014-05-03T08:30:00

Nice little game! Could be pretty addictive if it had online leaderboards, maybe.

Fuel Me Once by 4026 2014-04-29T08:13:00

Woooo! $2096, I am an oil prospecting badman.

Took me about 3 goes to get the hang of the controls on keyboard without catching myself dangling over a ramp.

Overall, pretty awesome. Splitscreen multiplayer?

Striking Innocence by LordDathing 2014-05-01T06:37:00

Hmmm... angelk's comments confuse me, I thought I wasn't earning any points until I started holding the mouse down?! :D

There were a few other confusing things: pressing the pause button to start the game took me quite a while to figure out, it wasn't really clear to me whether the shift button was useful as it didn't really seem to help push your score up in terms of targeting enemies, and I never felt that the punishment for getting hit by enemies was harsh enough to warrant using the teleport.

Art and sound both really, really nice though. The electronic guitar arpeggios were giving me some lo-fi daft punk vibes :)

Escape the Segfault by spartangeek 2014-05-01T06:45:00

Arrrghhh.... died at ~6000 meters... Would say that the platforming was kind of stiff and awkward, but it just made the super jump all the more awesome. Moar cubes!

The submarine engineer by aelita1992 2014-05-01T06:49:00

Awwww maaan... this looks lovely, but couldn't work out what I was supposed to do... at some point I accrued 250 points for doing something... I think :)

Hope to see this turned into something cool in the future!

Tron LD29 by morcosan 2014-05-07T12:34:00

Pretty nice visuals, music needs to be a bit simpler - maybe just arpeggios rather than random notes. Also AI that isn't suicidal would be cool :)

Infection by InfectionTeam 2014-04-30T08:18:00

Holy crap. This is probably the most well-made ludum dare entry I've ever seen. Incredible amounts of polish and solid gameplay. Good job.

From Below by TyrusPeace 2014-04-30T07:53:00

859s... I got pretty good at catching torpedoes towards the end :). I think all games should probably feature whales as anti-missile countermeasures from this point onwards.

The controls need a bit more physical presence, i.e. inertia and a perhaps particle effects to convey speed. Otherwise pretty good. A bit on the easy side, but its usually safer to make things easy in a game jam so that people actually play your game through :)

gnome fortress by blubberquark 2014-05-01T06:22:00

The recording feature is very cool, and I'm sure there's a game that could be made just out of that somehow, I like the gnome sprites and the fact that they all have their own jobs. Seems a bit lacking in goals at the minute though.

The Meaning of Life by Pavel M. Dlouhý 2014-05-03T11:46:00

Had a nice atmosphere, and was fairly trippy. Could do with a bit more content and some puzzles though :)

Khufu's Delivery Service by doublesquare 2016-08-31T05:42:00

Great game! I was really enjoying it, however both times I played I lost at a score of aroun 4300, because blocks were getting stuck at the top of the conveyor belt :(

I would definitely play more if I could, so great work!

Ancient Island Simulator 2016 by TeslaCools 2016-08-30T08:35:00

Not bad, pathfinding works well. Can you gain new villagers? My game ended with one woodcutter, one stonecutter and three farmers, but no population growth.

Good work! :)

Unknown by Zathnic 2016-08-31T05:34:00

Congrats for managing to create what you did. The procedural generation looks good, and tileset is really pretty good. Trees could maybe pop a bit more against the grass colour.

My house is over there by kyyninen 2016-08-31T05:27:00

Very nice atmosphere, and a real sense of place. Really enjoyed it :)

The Coterie by oskardevelopment 2016-09-01T11:24:00

Hi, great work! I got into quite a frustrating endgame, where neither I nor the police could quite get an edge over one another, Just marching around with huge 500 stacks. If you've managed to get the police down to one final station, that should probably be making things easier for you, so that you can have a decisive victory. If anything it seemed like they were spawning faster than ever. Good work though, I like the events system.

Landfill of Underappreciated Advances by UltraRat 2016-08-30T08:27:00

Hmm... couldn't seem to get into the game, it was stuck on the main menu, and only the fullscreen button was responding :( (Win10 Chrome)

Dinosty Warriors by PeachTreeOath 2016-08-30T08:42:00

Hell Yeah. That was awesome!
9/10, would be 10 if it played Ode to Joy on the victory screen.

The Ancient Engineer of Atlantis by MffKing 2016-08-31T05:13:00

Graphics are nice, but yeah it needs something to aim for. Couldn't buy the orichalcum generator for some reason.

Project Meteor by kfischer_okarin 2016-09-02T17:17:00

I don't actually mind the fact that the meteor looks a bit different, at first I thought that the meteor would be a 3D model, which could have looked pretty interesting. Gravity effect is very cool, and jumping around the planet is really unique and fun. Good work!

Bite The Pain by hadesfury 2016-12-13T18:54:00

Visually stunning, very well done. I couldn't get past the first level though, too hard for me.

0.25 by ARuculaDoMal 2016-12-13T18:25:00

Really liked this one. I got to 8, but then couldn't work out getting through the glass floor (or mirror?).

Great music and puzzle design.

BossRoom by Doomdad 2016-12-13T16:44:00

Boom! 11,100 pts!

Nice little game, pretty complete! Would just like some better feedback on what the area of effect on my attacks is, and also a dodge or block button would add a lot.

How many employees are needed in a factory? by ThCortezZ 2016-12-13T19:22:00

Lovely graphics and music, I was having trouble picking up and putting down objects, so couldn't really play. The player would either drop them immediately, or get stuck with their arms in the air and no item.

Shit Happens by vrojman 2016-12-13T16:37:00

Darn, I'm getting the same error as Khud0... I liked the music, opened it up outside of the game to give it a listen :)

Hero Pub by Hamichi Lim 2016-12-13T14:46:00

Lovely graphics and music, lots of charm.

I'm impressed with what you tried to achieve with the gameplay, but its a bit muddled. As far as I could tell the only moneysink is mixing drinks, which give a random buff or nerf to your heroes. It's not a very compelling reason to send them out on missions.

Overall I think it maybe needs to be better at explaining how the different systems work, and to give you feedback on things like how mission difficulty, what hero's stats are when you're in a battle, how each step of the card matching game is resolved.

Where's Mommy by Billion Bits 2016-12-13T19:47:00

Hmmmm.... even with your tips I can't figure out how to progress from standing next to the lamp... there doesn't seem to be anything I can reach without getting caught...

Conștiență by Uliana Galich 2016-12-13T17:04:00

Love the graphics and music. The text seemed to disappear really fast for me though, and sometimes I couldn't click again on an object to reread the description.

Nightmares by Yami no tenshi 2016-12-13T19:01:00

100... I killed 100 nightmares. Do I win?

The Chinese Room by Pierrec 2016-12-13T17:22:00

Brilliantly weird. Pretty tough as well, I was never able to fully work out what I was doing. It maybe needs a slightly gentler difficulty curve to start.

Death Room - Terry D'Arcy by cr4zyt3rry 2016-12-13T19:27:00

Good solid fun. Well done.

Janusz: The handyman simulator by RootKiller 2016-12-13T18:50:00

Strangely soothing, painted most of the room yellow... and only trashed half the furniture trying to get the paint can out of the box.

Empty by dustyroom 2016-12-15T09:54:00

Really impressive. I'm not really sure how you managed to implement that mechanic, it works really well though. Visuals are nice, music is excellent. Great work!

A Bear, a Beard, and a lot of Chainsaws by elkiwydev 2016-12-13T17:11:00

Hell yeah, that was awesome. Chainsaw guns FTW.

Correct Color by gogo199432 2016-12-13T14:28:00

Great work, very impressive for an LD entry!

Mr Farmer by c2v4 2016-12-13T18:35:00

Ooof... the controls are pretty awkward, makes it quite tricky to get in to. The concept's cool, but maybe you need some milestones on the way to that pony.

Hero Wardrober by Detocroix 2016-12-13T14:15:00

Wowsers, the graphics are lovely!
The game is pretty tricky, mostly in hitting of specific hotspots to grab items and put them in place. I didn't mind guessing what the right equipment was, though I think I only managed to decode the dragonslayer, magic council and warrior outfits.

Still, very cool visually.

Jail Fight by Jungle 2016-12-13T19:31:00

Graphics and music were nice... but it seemed odd not to be fighting against some AI... even if it was just picking random moves

illusianator by JeromWaarom 2016-12-13T16:59:00

Wow, that was great! A consistent head-f*ck the whole way through. I couldn't hear what you said at the beginning either though.

Total Eclipse of the Heart by FcValise 2016-12-13T19:38:00

Love the graphics and the midi theme tune is awesome. I have literally no idea what is going on though :D

Is there some cue I'm missing to know which panel has left-right control?
