LD22 — Alone

The Lonely Robot by chipcaramel 2011-12-20T20:07:00

Missing some instructions to fully appreciate the game and maybe a "try again" button. Overall not specially fun but the render is smart and it works fluently.
Congrats for your game, keep going !

Alone with a flashlight by norgas 2011-12-19T20:29:00

I needed the "SPACE: Sprint" from the comment, so bad I couldn't read it in game coz I almost missed the game :o. Besides, I really like the keyboard to explore ! It creates the "oh my god I've to hurry where is my light omg omg omg got it !!!!!! oh wait need a gun now and I'm low life AAAAAHHHH !" effect which is soooo epic.
The theme is commonly used (I'm alone and looking for people) and the overall realisation is great.
Best fun I had from the game I tried so far =)
Good job, Congrats for your game !

The Grey Waste by Kharza 2011-12-20T20:45:00

I had some nive time trying this game, nice it is in 3D and ambince was great at start. Had graphic bug during next levels(several walls that did not appeared, XNA blue instead, but collisions worked). Could go throudh the whole game, not very original but nice effort for the overall rendering (sounds + ambiance + gameplay).
Congrats for your game =)

The Last Metalface MK2 by Jeremy Stark 2011-12-19T19:13:00

grey screen with only "ammo left: 12" displayed. Sorry that I couldn't have the game to work using jre v1.6.0_29.

Leave Black Alone! by df458 2011-12-19T19:18:00

Basic audio and graphics but great idea over the theme and nice realisation.
Congrats for your game =)

One Man Alone in the Darkness by Cleggy 2011-12-19T19:06:00

THe game is not very innovative and is a very common approach to the theme, but it is complete, stable, and enjoyable.
Congrats =)

Tavern Wench - The Quest To Be Alone by SarahFrisk 2011-12-20T20:35:00

nothing to add to joekinley comment for the game itself.
Good luck for the jam and keep creating games =)

The cake is not a lie by Lythom 2011-12-19T18:05:00

Thanks !
I'm glad you enjoyed =D

Alone vs Monster(s) by Ender241 2011-12-19T20:35:00

Had some "wtf?!" in the game xD You should try to make the score more viible than having it only in the title bar.
Fun graphics, good job there =)
Congrats for your game !

How not to be alone? by drschizzo 2011-12-19T20:10:00

I Like the way the theme as been used, somehow refreshing and makes people think about being honest or being excluded from society.
Congrats for your game =)

WEIRDLY ALONE. by xilefian 2011-12-19T18:59:00

Not really inovative but properly made and cute. Juste had difficulties to take objects from the ground :(. Nice job overall =)

Lonesome Runner by emveyh 2011-12-19T20:15:00

Couldn't get the game to run properly on windows (getting like 2 ips with jre 1.6.0_29 => unplayable). Can't rate it, very sorry !

A Typical Friday Night by merthsoft 2011-12-19T19:26:00

I Like the idea of an IF game, the theme is well used. However I had hard time to start (what commands are available ?) because I'm not used with this kind of game.
Congrats for your first ame in LD =)

LD23 — Tiny World

Dusty's Adventure by CuberToy 2012-04-23T20:07:00

The game is short and not much challenging but graphics are nice, and the arrangement of scenery synchronized with music is just perfect.
Nice overall !

Stuck In the DOM world by Krilivye 2012-04-23T19:43:00

the game doesn't work on Chrome
It seem's to work on firefox (no images though) but couldn't understand what to do or what's the message behind the scenario. Please tell us a real story using DOM technology !

Tiny Island Adventure by AdventureIslands 2012-04-25T20:58:00

Had fun playing this, game progression in well balanced in various environments.
Sounds and music are not legendary but still ok.
Graphics are simple and good.
Good job there, thanks for the game !

When Worlds Collide by AlwaysGeeky 2012-04-25T19:53:00

Pretty basic gameplay but realisation is very nice.
Great job there.

Rotten World by boorik 2012-04-23T20:35:00

So hard >.< The levels are very big and it's discouraging to restart them all over each time.
I love your interpretation of the theme which is so far my favorite one ! Great idea !
Rzalization is good, well done =)

Minilization - Dawn and Fall of Man by jarnik 2012-05-01T11:58:00

I found the game pretty easy in fast : (move 6, build up to city), repeat and research when you can. Had the science and religion endings, loved both. In my opinion, this is more a philosophical game than a strategy game. This is the only thing I don't like about the game : it looks like a strategy/management game but lacks some depth. i.e. I couldn't find out if swtiching branch (when possible) has an interest (except changing the ending if you took the "wrong" branch first).
Besides, got enchanted by the game : very nice story, enchanting atmoshpere, exhilarating music... good job guys !
Thanks for the game =)

Me, Buck & Tina by repstyle 2012-04-24T18:46:00

Couldn't understand the story, had a 'bug" (went to the game of game without talking to someone), it let me very perplex I may have miss things.
Besides, graphics are pretty (nice effort on them), and game is playable.
Good work, see you next time ;)

gravity by Rémi 2012-04-24T18:02:00

Sounds are a bit agressive after some time, but management of weight + shooting makes it really fun. Difficulty allows short game sessions which is enjoyable in this kind of "brain stressing" game .
Graphics are simple but pretty, game runs well.
Good job here =)

Five by Five by eventhandler 2012-05-01T11:02:00

2240 ^^
No more to say over previous comments : really great concept, cute design. I loved this simple and efficient gameplay.
Thanks for the game !

Claustrophobia by emongev 2012-05-11T23:46:00

This game is a bit rough in term of gameplay, And I could not appreciate the story because of that. For exemplen, the "push the button then come back to the door" is a bit frustrating because you don't understand well that the button has been pushed.
Besides, the game has a nice atmosphere. Good work on sounds.
Thanks for the game =)

100seconds'World by Angerus 2012-04-24T17:41:00

29982 \o/
I had this score doing "btbt" then space at "99sec" time, couldn't do better >.<
My comment join others : some balance would help to make the game more interesting. I needed a few try to find a best-scoring strategy so it's still fun !
Graphics are simple but clean, the concept follows the theme, good work !

Evolve by jerombd 2012-04-23T20:20:00

Cute, funny, fully enjoyable, great art work.
Overall : very nice, congrats for this game =)

Lost in space by Keirua 2012-04-23T20:01:00

Loved the story, laughed a lot, and the sounds are epic too !
You could make the game harder by adding some gameplay (random compass crash, or magnetic zones that perturb it for exemple).
Nice game overall =)

Pocket Planet by MoltenMustafa 2012-05-01T11:32:00

Good job, had fun in his pretty hard game. Couldn't finish the game (too diffucult + respawn at random checkpoints sometime ?!), I gave up after failling the bottom violet jump 5 times ^^"
Realisation is great, split in several "worlds" with different themes is excellent, gameplay is ok, sound and musics are pretty great (for a 8bit style), scene camera is brainded, graphics are varied. Very good overall !
Thanks for the game =)

Ok...Now this is akward! by Pierrec 2012-04-23T19:53:00

Just Crazy (the good way) xD
Loved it !

The Elves end the Shoemaker by Nora Shishi 2012-05-05T15:06:00

Not a lot of depth but nice mouse smashing game.

Haxe Planets by jfroco 2012-05-01T12:18:00

I'm sorry but, I couldn't enjoy the game because...
The gameplay is frustrating and not that interesting
The level design is clean but hero design is weird
All black and white
The very repetive music synergize with frustrating gameplay to give even more frustration >.<
I Can't find relation between the game and the 'Tiny World' theme

Fortunatly...
The game does work from beggining to end
You listened to feedbacks and the improved version is really more fun
Multi-plateform !

Overall: it's not a game I really enjoyed (you can't please everyone, no big deal!), but you succeeded in creating a game which is the goal here.
Thanks for your game =)

Memento XII by deepnight 2012-04-25T20:11:00

(Trying to be objective) ideas to improve the game : music, more sounds...
(forgetting about objectivity) Almost made me cry :o !
very intense story, easy gameplay, cute design, not much sounds but they are meaningfull.
Plus perfectly realized, Congratulations for this game !

Corky by Gib 2012-04-24T18:29:00

I Could cutomize my room and roomates, but was unable to move (couln't see my character) and visit others room.
(Update, refreshed the game and could move, but once gone I couldn't edit my room)
I know how hard it is to have a multiplayer network game and that's too bad cause I Love the idea. The concept is similar to my last entry : having a collaborative artwork (http://samuel-bouchet.fr/ld22/)
I know you worked hard on it, hang on, I'd love to play this even after LD!

Little Knight's Tiny World by jim3wg 2012-04-23T20:12:00

Cute, very pro. Not that fun to play but high quality realization.
Well done !

Pixel World by RevoluGame 2012-05-01T12:53:00

I failed with the tree jump, having a "you can't go back" level design just after such a hard jump ir really sadistic ! It really killed the fun for me :(
Another drawback is the lack of innovative concept, it's a very classic plateformer. Also, I don't really "feel" the tiny part of the world : it looks like a normal world in pixels to me.
Finally, I didn't like as well is the slow movement speed (implying a slow game rhythm).
That's all I can find that will (I hope!) improve your next entries =)
The goods points : the story (I liked texts all along the game), humor, the atmosphere.
Thanks for the game !

Tiny Toy by Meedoc 2012-04-24T18:15:00

Not as easy as it seems, couldn't beat the machine. great AI I guess ;)
Too bad we can't skip text to retry quickly ! Plus the game fights are slow so It does not make player want to play again and again.
Graphics are... well I can't give you a good score for that sorry !
Music and sounds are ok.
Gameplay is interesting, balancing forces/costs/speed of the game is really tricky !
Fully playable, I mostly enjoyed it.
Good work there !

Niña Nueve by Jonathan Whiting 2012-04-25T20:42:00

Loved the game. I died once (stuck in a wall, loopy nasty song, restarted the game, then finished it)
Not too hard but it's good the way it is, boss fights <3, nice gameplay mechanisms (very nice way to move balls !)
Really a nice polished game with cool sound and music and cute graphics.
Thanks for the game ! very good job.

Gods Inc. by BlackDogg 2012-04-24T17:56:00

Nice game ! Web version is displaying very small and it's hard to read. Besides, it made me think of Darwinia some how. Nice concept but not fun for a long time.
Realisation is good and the game is fully playable.
Good job !

Synthesis by marudziik 2012-04-28T11:41:00

Pretty fun game but you need to know by heart a lot of reactions to really enjoy playing it. The game lacks rythm too (each game is pretty long). I would suggest a "challenge" system which give you twice the points if you succeed a specific reaction in a limited time (20sec for exemple). It would help player to learn reactions by playing and add some dynamic events to the game.
The concept is original and relevant.
The music and sounds are cool ! good work with them.
Graphics are simple but cleans.
Overall very nice entry, thanks for the game =)

Bottled Worlds by Patacorow 2012-04-25T20:27:00

Hi, I only tried the first level (had a crash and I wasn't in mood to go over it again), so here is a feedback from the intro/first level only.
Hated the intro sounds, very aggressive. But then It went better, the music and sounds are good in game. Not perfect but I must recognized the efforts you put into it.
The gameplay is fun, not easy but not unbeatable, seems well balanced.
Graphics are clean. Somehow it looks like Sonic ones =)
Overall, looks like a funny game polished enough to be played and enjoyed.
Good work overall, thanks for the game !

Link by Dax 2012-04-23T19:27:00

Hi,
I went throw the whole game, nice one ! Playable entierly, difficulty pretty well balanced (mostly easy though), graphics are clean and sounds are ok. Only drawback : texts are long to appear, a key to show them immediatly would be great.
Overall : good game =) Enjoyed it !

Tinyvilization by Lythom 2012-04-23T18:41:00

Please check the strategy game I made to help players getting into this game deep gameplay. It should help a lot =)
http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/2012/04/23/tinyvilization-strategy-guide/

The world of Marceline by Pitoum 2012-04-24T18:37:00

Pretty dark (in the story), needs polish but... wahhh ! It makes feel different.
Unusual story for a game coupled with innovative story telling makes this game a very refreshing experience.
Thanks for that, good job there.

LD25 — You are the Villain

'Goat, give me back my clothes !' by MvT 2012-12-27T10:43:00

The human seems to teleports on top of you and it's really hard to control, plus it goes into the ground sometimes or just doesn't jump. This make the actions very uncertain and it killed the fun for me. A "restart" the level button (and not the whole game each time) would have been appreciated !
I liked the theme point of view and the art.
Thanks for the game !

The last game before the end of the world by grifdail 2012-12-29T10:43:00

I found the game very hard to play because the ship turn really too much and you can't aim properly. The level is very long and I ended finding an angle and rush the end firing only in front of me, with success. This is not the kind of challenge I expect from a shooter. I found the sfx horrible to hear and too loud (I had to reduce the browser sound in the system). Maybe because of the overall experience, I didn't like the music much.
The good points : no crash or bug, nice parallax effect, sprites are ok.
Thanks for the game =)

HeroesFall by Yacodo 2012-12-27T12:17:00

I tried each attack once then won using only first and sixth one. Spamming the first make the hero reun everywhere while the sixth one give me more income to spam more and get more income etc.
Is there a way to loose ?
The game is globally average. However, mention for the AI which defend in a very smart way.

Firepower! by cwilloughby 2012-12-27T10:33:00

I had some difficulties to understand the goal of the game (how to score ?), the tips on the bottom are not displayed long enough. I finally found a strategy, growing trees in circle around the island, the fire burning one side and me watering the other side and turning forever. At this point the game stoped to be challenging and fun because nothing would change as long as Im concentrated enough not to misslick fire instead of water >.>. The way to find this out however was fun !
graphics are ok, music end to be horrible to ear, concept is fine, realization is good (not bug appeared).
Thanks for the game !

Atomic Creep Spawner!! by deepnight 2012-12-27T11:00:00

Perfect. I don't think one could do better in 48h. Heroes are hoooooorible things calling every thing "noobs" and ARRRR take that you evil hero T_T
In addition, the game is beautifull (art, colors, ambiance), the sounds create immersion, a good tutorial.
Thanks a lot for this game.

Gobelin's dungeon by Manest 2012-12-20T07:10:00

Very nice game ! Everything is very good to me, except thoses points :
- Title screen might be a little more attractive (colors / pictures / a button that looks like a button)
- Sounds are very aggressive, somethink smoother would be great
Mentions for :
- Severals walls and floor tiles => It gives a very nice looking to this game.
- Talkings between monsters and heros are fun.

Thanks for the game !

Lootology : Experiment #001 by Lythom 2012-12-19T00:27:00

"loot system based actions" seems to be very missunderstood :s In exemple, in the first run, you get bonus damage proportionnal to the Overkill. It means if you kill a "You" that have 2HP left with 10 damage point, you have 8 damage point of overkill that will be converted in a +4 bonus points (ratio is 0.5). A good strategy is to have a low damaging weapon to weaken enemies, then strike them strong with a high damage sword to deal a high overkill and get a better bonus.

LD26 — Minimalism

MINIMALISM by devince 2013-05-09T07:58:00

Not enough to get a good rating, but still an experience you can learn from.
Thanks for the game !

Mondrianarium by Angerus 2013-05-05T09:08:00

I there, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- Theme interpretation
- Visual style
What imo could be improved :
- "You're dead" with no warning rooms, so annoying. I understood that the level had to be played several time to be completed but it's juste so frustrating and the gameplay is not dynamic enough to have this supermeetboy feeling of "nevermind let's go again".

good overall, thanks for the game !

Only a Keyboard by Lidfrid 2013-04-29T17:18:00

Couldn't go further than 'N' like everyone. I'm a bit frustrated because I'm sure it could have been fun.

Escape by Colisan 2013-05-04T08:18:00

Hi there, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- art style (though I think keeping the minimalist spirit of the painting for the rest of the game could have gave it more personality)
- animated elements
- humor ("please move the camera because..." made my day xD)
What imo could be improved :
- bounce on ennemies when jumping on their head (it's a common juicy feedback that usually works well)
- music (repetitive at long)
- difficulty (did not reach the end... sry ! I had not the courage to do the level + the boss with canon all over again)

Good overall, thanks for the game !

Line Knight by berareu 2013-05-09T07:54:00

Nice entry, could be very good with more polish and less bugs ! Keep the creative, improve the tech., and you'll make great games !

Simplification Quest by Adbook 2013-05-04T11:13:00

Hi there, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- dynamic gameplay (fun to play)
- background effort
- character animations
What imo could be improved :
- more of the background in the actual drawings/gameplay
- levels are too long / lack checkpoints (I gave up on a particulary long one, I died just before the exit)
- collisions are really unpermissive >.<
- clouds blue outline have a strange color
- more variety in levels (since I did not finish, sry if there was something I missed !)

good overall, thanks for the game !

Mass Splitter by scriptorum 2013-05-08T17:27:00

Hi there ! I really liked this game. It really need some polish (at least a game over text) but I had fun playing it, the challenge is very well balanced.
For your next entry, try to find better audio too >.>
Good overall that could have been a very good with more polish. Thanks for the game !

Minimal Shmup by mkpictures 2013-05-02T21:20:00

hi there, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- game area sized for the game type
- smooth in animations and movements
What imo could be improved :
- bugs (you don't fire anymore when at the very bottom, ennemies projectiles disapear when they are destroyed)
- sounds (sry but... really annoying >.<)
- graphics/art style (could be closer the theme, more stylished)
- the feeling you (can) get stronger (a common design success in shootem up is the feeling you get stronger with new weapons or bonuses !)
- me (yeah I suck at those kind of games so I found it hard but most likely I'm really bad)

good overall, thanks for the game !

My Mini Castle by TijmenTio 2013-04-29T17:29:00

Nice entry here ! This is really what you want to see in a LD small but polished game.
Maybe a little more depth in game and/or a closer synergy with the theme would have made it just perfect.
Had fun with this one, thanks for the game !

MinimalFive by ToadieTechnika 2013-05-03T06:48:00

Nice idea, nice thougths about minimalism, well implemented. It looks pretty clean and polished. What imo could be improved : a bit less talking (very long to read all the text), change music between minigames ? (I'm not sure it's a good idea, but it may worth trying).
very good overall, thanks for the game !

Ludum lupus by Yozz 2013-04-29T17:45:00

Hi ! here is some feedback about the entry.
What I loved : atmosphere, efforts on animation
What could be improved :
- fight system (either a complete fight system or a simple "one button" would have been better instead of a complex with no depth one)
- I don't really see the relation with the theme
- graphics (are very good !) but could be improved with more consitency (a strong and common graphic style)
Thanks for the game !
(Bt the way, if you like story-telling, you could like mine !)

Aaron and Alex by smilingrob 2013-04-30T17:51:00

Hi, here is some feedback.
What I loved :
- atmosphere (strange world)
- sounds and music
- well introduced
What imo could be improved :
- relation to the theme
- random key combinaison to allow replaying
- the end (it just tells you game over suddently, you could add some "Congratulations" to let the player know he beat the game)

Nice overall, thanks for the game !

NinjaFlare by 8BitPimp 2013-04-29T06:31:00

Hi 8BitPimp, here is some feedback.
What I loved :
- art, immersion
- dynamic gameplay
What I think could be improved :
- music ?
- multi input at the same time
- scoring (for a runner it's pretty essential ! you don't even know if you did better from a run to another)
- more explanations on the rules (is there a end ? is the goal to smash ennemies or to run far ? When can the hook be used ?)

I felt a bit frustrated not knowing if there was a end but could not reach it or if it was a scoring game... without score.
Good game overall, thanks for it !

Shape Catcher by zinfandel 2013-04-30T06:31:00

Hi, here is some feedback about your game.
What I loved :
- art style
- pokemon spirit
What imo could be improved :
- remove unfinished features (it makes the game messy)
- title, author, instructions on a splash screen or on webpage
- ending
- juicy feedbacks when shapes level up <3

Pretty neat overall, thanks for the game !

MINLIFE by DesignerNap 2013-04-30T17:40:00

Hi ! Here is some feedback.
What I loved :
- the concept (close to mine in fact :p)
- finished and clean
- color scheme consistency
What imo could be improved :
- consistency in the story (either it goes a bit everywhere and doesn't tell a full story, or I did not understand what was behind)
- a few bug with controls (freeze when changing direction, not sure I when I presses space it was efficient each time)
- for the space key thing, a tip would be to audio or display an immediate feedback

nice overall, thanks for the game !

A Bird's Love by omaromeir 2013-04-30T16:22:00

Hi, he's somme feedback.
What I loved :
- so cute !
- 2D art
- complete and pretty polished
what imo could be improved :
- the depth effect (I first thought the bird was just getting bigger)
- Could not find out what the green part of the level was representing
- no variation in gameplay, only visual changes in the level.
- (very subjective) the relation to the theme is not strong (I think some elements should accentuate more the link to the theme)

Overall neat and efficient, thanks for the game !

Shape of shades by allinlabs 2013-05-02T21:06:00

Excellent ! The best notes I gave so far. Still, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- atmosphere
- artistic approach / theme relation
- game design/level design (the feeling your a ghost and can escape everywhere)
What imo could be improved :
- music (get annoying after some time)
- controlled element size (even if centered, it's eye destroyer)
- end / collectable color (blue and violet are hard to distinguish)

Excellent overall, thanks for the game !

Budget Squad by deepnight 2013-05-01T10:15:00

I'm sorry i can't tell you much that could help improve the game, I'm not skilled enough yet, but here's some clues :
- I don't like to have to move 2 entities (I don't have a brain that handle this correctly) but the core gameplay is fun so
* I think the game could be a (very) great coop game with 2 players
* keeping one player it could be usefull to have one submarine auto-follow the second (this would prevent to keep swapping every time just to make the submarines go forward)
Thanks for the game !

Super Monster Attack by daandruff 2013-04-29T18:53:00

Really nice entry I enjoyed playing ! I fell balancing could be improved : i just "beat" (been overpowered) by only buying green ones and shield every turn.
Had fun so thanks for the game =)

A Scholar In The Woods by Rastagong 2013-05-01T15:29:00

Hi there, here is some feddback.
What i loved :
- story with true meanings
- atmosphere
What imo could be improved :
- graphics ! Even with no graphic skill I'm pretty sure you can improve from this to something that doesn't make sick :p
- ending (fall a bit short :s, or did I miss something about this artist we had to visit ?)
- a feedback when you actually can do an action ("press 'w'")
I really liked the game overall, thanks for the story ;)

Minimalism Textual Adventure by Skywilly 2013-05-02T21:10:00

Hi there, here's some feedback.
What I loved :
- theme approach
- dynamism (compared to traditionnal text-based games)
- humour
What imo could be improved :
- Have a separated french and english version, it's really confusing.
- find deeper designs to push the idea further (I have no idea right now but I'm pretty sure there are minimalistic things to be found)

Good overall, thanks for the game !

That day by FredericRP 2013-05-01T15:09:00

Hi there, here is some feedback about the game :
What I liked :
- a complete game
- humour
- music (when you walk)
What imo could be improved :
- story (Why are the guard preventing you from picking your key at your desk ? Why going throw the roof to get back to the car ?)
- clarity ("go left", "no go right finally" + the words spreads everywhere make it harder to read the sentences)
- concept (50+ words doesn't really sound minimalist to me)

good overall, thanks for the game !

Theme Satisfactor by Pyrofoux 2013-05-01T10:36:00

Frustrating end.... well played :p
a game really in the theme next time ? ;)

crush. by oatsbarley 2013-04-30T06:17:00

Neat and pleasing game, it's more contemplative and artistic than intersting in the gameplay but it convey a soft 'zen' emotion.
At the end of the 1st level I was not sure if I finished the game and redoing it or if I started level 2. Maybe some more non ambiguous feedback would help.
Good overall, thanks for the game !

Blink, a minimalist perception by dray 2013-05-02T20:51:00

Hi, here's some feedback !
What I loved :
- game design / difficulty (it's hard when you start then converge toward player level thanks to dead flags, very clever design to make the game challenging/accessible for any player skill !)
- new features when going forward in levels (spikes, fire)
What imo could be improved :
- art(even for minimalism, something more stylish/artistic could be considered for graphisms, sounds are clean but basic and could converge to the choosen art style)
- collision bugs (tune your engine for the next LD ;) )

very good overall, I had a lot of fun, thanks for the game !

Long Live the King by Dax 2013-04-30T20:37:00

Nice overall, had fun with your game ! I'm impressed you could produce something with all those features in 48h.
I think the cursor could be improved, in 1680x1050 I could barely see it. Thanks for the game !

Long live the King by Lythom 2013-04-29T06:05:00

Thanks all !
Tyro> As this is a grammatical error I think it's not cheating to correct it so... fixed ! Thanks =)

LD28 — You Only Get One

Matchbox by Sos 2013-12-16T08:28:00

I'm... of two minds about your game.
The game experience is good : one click play, instant immersion in an old dos game exotic universe I missed so much, global "wtf this is so weird and cool!".
On the other side... Is there any "good" end ? If no please make clearer than the only two game buttons are "left" and "right" because I just got stuck wondering "What am I suppose to do ?". The starting screen ask you to press space button but this key doesn't seem to do anything in game => This is misleading the player you should either say "anykey" or one of the buttons used to play. If space key does something (I missed) somewhere, you should really give player a feedback when using it at a wrong place.
Thanks for the game =)

Dungeon Dash by BitDemon 2014-01-03T13:57:00

Hi, here's some feedback.
What I liked :
- the overall realisation (neat menus, transitions and replay mechanism)
- particle effects
- atmosphere (lightnings, graphics, epic music)
- clicliclicliclicliclic ^^

What imo could be improved :
- Feedback when ennemies and touched (ie. red filter for a few ms, damage sound, little jump or knockback).
- mana system. I can't see any good reason to save mana, so basically it just delay your next shot when you have no mana. A simple "spell cooldown" would have been more neat as a limitation design. But maybe you initially planned other spells ?
- one or 2 secs to move before the fight actually start would have been great. Getting spawnshot is very frustrating :(
- ennemy variations / AI. Ennemies themselves are not really challenging/interesting.

Real good job overall, thanks for the game !

Doubt by rxi 2014-01-06T10:27:00

I'm not sure I really understood what the game is about. Is it just a painting of a "dream atmosphere" or are there real thoughts I missed ?
Still, it's a pretty neat realisation, congrats !

Color Blind by Mandala 2013-12-18T07:09:00

There is no "ColorBlindRun.exe" as stated in the readme file, and the run.exe show and stuck on a pig with pink hearts rotating. It doesn't look like your game :s

Creator Story Saga Tycoon by Bruno Massa 2013-12-23T08:09:00

Hi, here is is some feedback !
The good points :
- addictive
- clean graphics
- music
- general atmoshphere
- button smash !!!!!
What imo could be improved :
- indicator to notice possible scrolls (I though I had only 3 creatures at start !)
- very slow progression
- game universe : A god gathering dollars ?! Could be more consistent with "belief points" are whatever would be valuable for a god or for life creation.
- coin sounds : I recognize a great effort there, but it still end to be annoying ^^

Overall good and please, thanks for the game =)

Save Your Mother! by viinnyk 2013-12-19T07:20:00

Hi,
here are a few tips to improve the game :
- be sure there's no important glitch (I got stuck several times, couldn't play as I would have liked)
- put some background under your text to make enough constrast and have them readable
- It's ok for art to be "stylished", but try to keep the interface clear (buttons, critical informations) until your drawing skills level up

I liked how you considered the theme, the idea behind is great.

Couldn't give a good rate because I couldn't enjoy the game because of glitches (after 6~7 tries), that's the critical part to improve right now.
Anyway, thanks for the game !

Purpose by deepnight 2013-12-18T07:19:00

I had about 7 hours too to achieve my game, but it's in no way comparable to the quality you have there in term of graphics and gameplay. Great job, thanks for the game =)

HellBow by kumoi 2013-12-19T07:49:00

Hello, here's some feedbacks. What I think could be improve :
- Lighting. You got a mysterious "dark" world with great basics to create a cool atmosphere, but the global lighting is ruining it plus it like a good shadow display for what I wanted to do. I saw some efforts for some spots, but either it's due to the engin or the lack of time it really can be improved
- Feedback when big ennemies are hurt. Didn't know I there where invicible or if I had to keep shooting.
- You start to tell a story/give a context on a grave at the start. References to that story while playing would improve the immersion. We just feel we get there to punch some monsters instead of living an adventure.

What I liked :
- The atmosphere, great effort =) (music + models)
- The gameplay
- The surprise before the boss :p

Good work overall, thanks for the game !

Last Minute Christmas Chopping by Notch 2013-12-18T07:28:00

D-e-X already gave you a good feedback so I won't repeat what was told. Just a note about sounds : they end to be really annoying. I'm not sure how to fix it, but maybe a more quiet sound for the jump and a stronger visual feedback would allow the same comprenhension without the annoyment.
Good overall, I liked it. Thanks for the game !

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Lythom 2013-12-16T08:53:00

Have fun ;)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Lythom 2013-12-17T14:29:00

I thought about random events but ran out of time (had a heavy week end aside of the ludum dare :( ). Alors, combination/interaction between dwarves in definitely what the game miss !
I didn't try the game on mobile devices and this is definitly a good news, thanks a lot for your feedback !
Btw, the dwarf hiding behind the tree is Bashful =)

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

Carnival Warfare by pinkmonkeyhead 2014-05-12T12:14:00

hi,
here's some feedback about your game.
What I liked :
- Atmosphere / Graphics / Fonts / Music / Sounds
- entierly playable
- Tips on "How to play" when announcing the days end/start
What in my opinion could be improved :
- integration of the theme in the game, the idea is good but could be exploited better.
- fun, it lacks a few fun stuff : it feels like a real job pain :p which could be converted into a good point with a better theme integration I think.
- some collision bugs with the stand to be fixed
- some visual inacuracy with texts (positions, readability)
Very good job overall, I do appreciate the finish quality of your game.
Thanks for the game !

The Runemaker by Lythom 2014-05-02T08:12:00

Thanks for your comments !
I added a post version compo that add/improve runes, fix interfaces bugs and change the difficulty curve if dungeons. If you like the idea of the game you should really enjoy this version =)

RMBR by Pitoum 2014-05-15T07:29:00

hi,
here's some feedback about your game.
What I liked :
- Atmosphere (Visual implicity / Text Font / Music / Sounds)
- entierly playable (played the web version)
- original concept that really works
- original theme approach
What in my opinion could be improved :
- more content ! (Well it's usually a good point when people want more :D)
- "Random" exploration leading the player to get "lost" > need to pull up a few times to find his way again. Maybe have some breadcrumb or any orientation tip ?

Very good job overall, I appreciated the overall clean rendering and experience.
Thanks for the game !

RMBR by Pitoum 2014-05-15T07:35:00

Ah just another point I think could be improved :
- Closure. I did not really felt it was over despite having explored the whole game. I'm not sure how to achieve this closure effect, maybe having a reference in one of the last sub-texts that would give some "resonance" toward "He leaves", giving it more power ? Could be with the part about closing doors for example.

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-09-09T07:15:00

Hi there, here some feedback about this experience.

What I liked :
- Being able to know who made game near me a try more "local" games.
- Overall view of jamers positions in the world
- Right in the theme =)

What imo could be improved :
- UI Juiciness. Make button move or play sounds when the are pushed. Indicate more precisely what button is for what action. To sum up : get some reads about UI good practices. Even if you don't do much UI, it's always worth knowing UI good practice for game design inspiration because there are lot of connections between UI experience and game experience.
- Graphics. Hand drawing is ok but at least some anti-aliasing would help getting a smooth rendering.
- Not a real game experience, but I'm not sure it could be improved in this case because it's more a service than a game, and I appreciate that. Gamifying is hardly ever making a better product.

Overall I enjoyed your entry as a gate to other games, you really created connections, and for that, thank you =)

Love Craft by renatopp 2014-09-04T12:39:00

Hi there, here's somme feedback about your game :

What I liked :
- atmosphere, peaceful and clean.
- characters jumping all around (pretty alive)
- A playble finished game

What imo could be improved :
- more feedbacks on relashionship progress.
- more interactions than just cutting conversations and adjusting placement.
- I don't feel the bird and the cloud being good interactions because it doesn't intricate smoothly with the core gameplay which is about making relations. The "jealous" penality is a very good one, the bird is not.

The realization is really good, I'm sure you can make some amazing things with some bette gameplay choices =)
Thanks for the game !

Saturday Night Symbiosis by Pierrec 2014-09-04T15:27:00

Hi Pierrec, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- Story consistancy. Tried a few things but couldn't make the story inconsistant, nice one !
- Game play really based on character relations and importance of call order.
- Characters descriptions : short and helpfuls.
- Epilogs

What imo could be improved :
- save points or option to undo last call (in order to test more scenarios =))
- UI graphics lack some fantasy
- Window mode instead of fullscrenn (or did I miss it ?)

Overall is excellent ! I really enjoyed your game =)
Thanks !

NECLiD by 0x0961h 2014-09-06T17:59:00

hi, here's some feedback !

What I liked :
- Great use of the theme i puzzles.
- Great puzzles !
- Atmosphere
- Accessibility consideration (dislexy, colorblindness, configurable keyboard)

What imo could be improved :
- Music and sounds ! (Still, thanks for the option to cut them)
- Transition time between worlds, can get really annoying when switching alot. Would help if hitting the transition button while transitionning would revert the transition into the initial state.
- halting moves, would be great if the caracter kept walking when holding a move key down.
- A better indicator than camera move to inidicate clearly what character is being moved. Could be a halo, a shadow, or a graphic detail for exemple.

The core gameplay is a great success, a good one ! Thanks for the game =)

Crece-above-Clouds by Solifuge 2014-09-06T16:42:00

Hi there, here's some feedback about your game.

What I liked :
- Fun and innovative gameplay. I like trading games but with some action around it just get epic =)
- Global realization : fully playble, not that bad art, nice audio.
- The will to give some background to the game

What imo could be improved :
- Background comprehension. I had to read several times the dialogs and game description to fully understand what the world is but mostly who the characters are. Can be written a better, for the campaign post-version please take some advices from writers =)
- The "alsmost empty fuel" sound alert is way too loud and get annoying very fast. Got it for a loooong time before losing.
- Art colors and textures. Graphics are not horrible to look at, but they can be even better with some better colors choice (ie. less saturation), and with a some textures instead of flat fill. Studing lightings and how to get more depth is a good start.

Overall, the game I had the most fun playing at at the moment, nice one ! Thanks for the game =)

Earth Defense Team 2492 by Toestee 2014-09-15T08:11:00

Hi, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- controling a full esquadron in a shump is an original idea
- reactive controls makes the game pretty fun
- Full playable game with intro and proper end

What imo could be improved :
- Audio is a bit agressive, and fact it repeats ALOT does not help. Still, I could play the entire game without cutting the sound so it's not that bad either.
- Graphics are basics but you already got some correct lightings, could be improved with some texturing.
- The theme is used in a very common way, I'm pretty suure that even with a similar gameplay something more original could be found

Overall I enjoyed the play, thanks for the game !

ShiftKeeper by egor-idiot 2014-09-06T15:54:00

hi there, here's some feedback about your game.

What i liked :
- Fully playble game
- pixel art and graphics special effects <3
- Controls are reacting good

What imo could be improved :
- More connections between the worlds (except the player there is no interaction between worlds. There could be alot supporting the gameplay as well, ie bullet transforming when changing worlds, ennemy influencing each other accros world (buffs ?). Deserve a real brainstorm =) )
- Add sound / music
- Add an intro

Good overall, thanks for the game !

Other Side by Raphy 2014-09-12T15:13:00

hi, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- Atmosphere (lights, day progressing in time, mind-free feeling, sounds)
- A whole pleasing experience
- Visual consistency
- Story telling without text : a lot of things are told in a very short time which makes the game intense, aside the walking phases make it 'long' in the same time and prevent it from being frenetic. in a nutshell : good telling rithm.

What imo could be improved :
- more interactions, it's short and easy without having to do much things.
- walk animation is a bit approximative.

Overall a good experienceI appreciated to have, thanks for the game =)

Flicker by PapaCheech 2014-09-06T17:33:00

Hi there, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- Atmosphere (lightings and music)
- Neat and intuitive gameplay

What imo could be improved :
- More depth in gameplay. Moving an orb to a target while dodging enemies is pretty basic, and the connected worlds spirit background didn't create the illusion for a long time. Time-based enemies and light plays give some innovations but it was insuffisiant for me to feel a real innovative gameplay.
- For the web version, a different background color on the webpage or an ingame background border would help to distinguish the game area bounds.

Overall a neat entry, good job ! Thanks for the game =)

The Final Novel by @TeddyNashor 2014-08-25T07:55:00

Hi there ! Here are some feedbacks.
What i liked :
- Big work achieved ! Very impressive.
- The idea of making a novel together.
- Everything is clear because explained when unfinished (no 'I don't know what it is')
What imo could be improved :
- Music (but I recognize the effort, it can be really hard to even have one xD)
- Remove unfinished work to achieve a more polished effect

Great overall, had fun reading (and writing :p) the novel so far !

Chipset-0 by deepnight 2014-09-05T08:04:00

Hi, here's some feedback about the game.

What I really liked :
- Narration (intro scene with animatiosn and well used screen effects work perfectly, balloon tips when needed, ending that make the player want to start over again)
- Level Design (Is the perfect school study case)
- Animations (robot moves, lightings effects, ennemy shots)
- Relation to the theme (Connected worlds, here human <-> robots, doesn't imply that the entities of each world can communicate together. It still need individual efforts to be able to understand each other)

What imo could be improved :
- Relation to the theme (Not sure my interpretation of the theme was something your consciously tried to express, but I think it could have been reinforced even further. In Exemple, giving one human character some more personality and several appearance along the game could have help. A sort of rebel trying to tell you something else than the system orders. The "Help" human was the good start but not strong enough imo).
- Never wanted to try another graphics / gameplay style ? I'd love to play something really different from what you usually do =)

Excellent overall, a high quality jam game. Thanks for the game !

Disconnected Keyboard by Aomeas 2014-09-08T16:08:00

Hi there, here's some feedback about your game.

What I liked :
- Fun ! challenging but not too hard by being permissive, it's pretty well balanced and the learning curve is good for the game.
- 108.8 sec. Pretty sure I miss very little to beat you =D Let's rush through the holes at highspeed and get a no-care win xD
- Audio, theme idea and overall realization are good.

What imo could be improved :
- The Font is very tiny and the contrast isn't good enough for reading if you don't have good eyes.
- Graphics would be better being bound dtronger to you environnement. Is the moving dot an electron moving on a circuit ? let's show it more explicitely !

Overall a good entry, thanks for the game =)

Ennaffa by MintArcade 2014-08-27T15:10:00

Hi there ! Here are some feedbacks.
What i liked :
- Polished 3D render
- Big play time
- The concept is not really inovative but is greatly used
What imo could be improved :
- Music overlapping when switching worlds pretty weird to hear.
- Keyboard+mouse control really slow and still not very smooth, in particular when swiching worlds.
- More feedback would be appreciated on the elements that can be activated.

Big work, Bravo ! Thanks for the game !

Starlight by stephenhaney 2014-08-27T14:47:00

Hi there ! Here are some feedbacks.
What i liked :
- Polished visuals (UI, fonts, global visual consistency)
- Music and sounds
- Consistent global experience
What imo could be improved :
- Didn't have much fun clicking all around without a clue to where to go. More gameplay ?
- The Stars background not beeing seemless ;)

Great quality in the realisation, Thanks for the game !

Astral Experience by Beard 2014-08-27T14:56:00

Hi,
really too far from a finished game. Try a smaller game next time ;)
Thank you for sharing this game prototype !

Translation Points by quadtree 2014-09-13T23:00:00

Hi ! I agree with hoyt hoy and plash feedbacks. I'd add that to improve the game the most important thing to do, imo, is help the player get a proper orientation in the game universe. Which worlds are accessible from where the ship currently is and where in the world the ship is are unclear information. In the mothership world it's ok thanks to the purple triangle and distance, a similar indicator would help in other worlds.

Thanks for the game !

The Makers Hand by coffeemuggames 2014-08-27T14:30:00

Hi there ! Here are some feedbacks.
What i liked :
- It's a management game =D
- Balancing seems pretty great.
- The game is fully playable.
What imo could be improved :
- Borders on the display, could't play with whoosing a proper background.
- hard to construct high because the UI in front hide what your building.
- Music ! I'm not against mouth recorded music but there is really too much noise on your record.
- Could have been a mouse only game, would have been easier to play.

Great overall, thanks for the game !

Annex Kharon by headchant 2014-09-06T17:09:00

Hi there, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- Tutorial. It is needed, it is done, and it is well done.
- Retro style. Pretty eye agressive but the consistancy is really appreciated.
- Roguelike gameplay. "Ok let's try again ! =D"
- Leaderboard. Definitely help the challenge !

What imo could be improved :
- Graphics. Even with a retro style, it can be improved. The biggest problem I saw is I had trouble distinguish some enemies so I couldn't prepare their behaviour except for the "2 actions points" (which is a great predictable enemy that need actual tactics).
- Sounds. The voice is not easy to understand and only the intro was subtitled. For the tutorial it was barely enough understandable.
- Enemy doing spawnshots in some levels. Getting free shots when you have only one possible move is really frustrating.

I had a real pleasure playing your game, thanks a lot =)

the Traveler by teamrocketbear 2014-08-27T14:14:00

Hi there ! Here are some feedbacks.
What i liked :
- Animations
- Sound Atmoshpere
- Hub graphics
What imo could be improved :
- Clarity of the objective(s)
- Drawings
- Transitions between animations

Good overall, thanks ofr the game =)

World Champions by kill0u 2014-09-10T14:35:00

Hey, here's some feedback.

What i liked :
- graphic style
- addictivness / game pace
- balance despite the limited time
- Suprisingly rich content with several skills and evolution

What imo could be improved :
- Audio
- Relation to the theme, the background doesn't really have a realation with gameplay.
- Fight randomness : In high level, the first one to strike ennemies damagers win. The tanks are so tanky that they can't be taken down quickly and the remaining damager win (the tanks facing each other does no more than 1 damage to each other).

A neat one, thanks for this game !

Schrodinghost by Carduus 2014-09-06T16:19:00

Hi, here's some feedback about your game.

What i liked :
- The subjet you choose (Schrodinger) and the atmosphere you built around
- The realization, it's neat and really playable.
- The cat narration
- Musics and sounds
- Graphics and animations
- The difficulty (pretty well balanced imo)

What imo could be improved :
- The ending. An anvil ? Really ? There was better to do !
- Your game description. It's alot better than announced, don't talk about bugs (didn't see one, but maybe it was correcteed by the time ?), just keep the positive part, even if you think your game doesn't deserve too much praise. You can still highlight the parts your proud of and keep that humble approach without the negative points =)

A very good overall, thanks for the game !

Jeru's Tower by ncannasse 2014-09-12T15:40:00

Hi, here's some feedbacks.

What I liked :
- almost everything, but in particular
- realization is excellent (no heavy bugs, reactive and intuitive play, dynamic curve for a puzzle game)
- puzzles variety and difficulty, not being boring
- audio, not exceptionnal but good enough
- playing time, there is really stuff to discover !

What Imo could be improved :
- almost everything as well, in particular
- a small lack of innovation (very classic approach of the theme and of the gameplay)
- flashy colors are a little eye agressive
- transition between the levels is a bit long

Overall a smooth and pleasant exprience with no repellent points. Thanks for the game !

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Symphony of the night by FoxFiesta 2014-12-13T15:36:00

Hi there, pretty good entry overall. Imo the controls are a bit unclear (not sure what you are facing all the time). I did't really like the drawing but I did enjoy the animations ! The enigma are very goods. Thanks for the game !

Grid Cars by Germanunkol 2014-12-15T13:11:00

Hi ! Good entry there, I liked how well it works. Too bad I had nobody to played with, must be more fun with a lot of people !

Squareon by okkolobr 2014-12-20T18:23:00

Nice addicting game, very hard !
I like the "moving neon square" mood, works pretty well.

The Human Experiment Show by Robber 2014-12-20T10:52:00

Very nice entry ! Fully playble, great 3D (model + animation), people clapping :D (nice use of the theme btw). Got stuck on my first attempt (a combination that prevented me from doing further moves) but started again and got it. Well balanced. Good work :)
Tips for going even further : improve the mood / art style by giving more personality to the game (edit: the post jam version is a very good start in that way !).
Thanks for the game :)

Limberjacks by sandbaydev 2014-12-20T21:06:00

Nice entry, couldn't figure out how to get rid of large trees but the mood is good and the game fully playable.
Thanks for the game !

Cat-ana by Valandre 2014-12-15T14:45:00

I'm impressed by the technical level : 3D iso + graphic style combined with the music give this game a very unique and pleasant atmosphere. I had hard time to find the way and move around, and the rythm, jumping from screen to screen, is a bit jerky.
Still a very good entry, thanks for the game !

The Condor by JNT 2014-12-20T10:22:00

A very correct entry overall, what it lacks to go really good :
- a better Aesthetical (black and white only can be a good choix but used this way it's juste very confusing and not really appealing)
- a more clear interface (weird errors in the typo make me wonder if there is more to read or if it's just visual artifact, no padding in the text boxes).
- why do people shoot at me when i'm not in sight ?
- less redundant sounds.
Enjoyable overall, thanks for the game !

Snowmans Base by Silveryard 2014-12-20T10:04:00

Not much fun in this game, feedbacks are there but could be greatly improved, moves feels like you are moving a tank, no challenge.
That said, congrats for having something playable, the exerice is difficult !
Thanks for the game =)

Can't find the channel by Sogomn 2014-12-20T10:27:00

The blinking pixels gives headache, besides this it works and it's playable, even if not fun as crazy and not vert challenging. I'd have prefer a small screen with more difficult path to find rather a this wide easy to go throw zone, because it turns a labyrinthe game into an empty exploration game.
Having a full working entry is always a hard job, so still congrats and thanks for the game :)

Kuch Bhi ! by bORAT 2014-12-20T11:12:00

12 ! Ahhhhh !!!
Addicting, unlockables idea is good despite I didn't like the sounds and I found the new environment unplayable.
Maybe add some depth in the mecanics or variety in environement behaviours (obstacles, bonus ?) to improve the game further.
Had fun, thanks =D

The Shift by SoulGame 2014-12-15T18:51:00

Simple yet addictive game. A bit too random in my opinion (got a very good game thanks to luck but several try hard ones) even if this random get balanced by skill over time.
Thanks for the game !

Coloring by RevoluGame 2014-12-29T23:39:00

Nice attempt in the classical arcade game style that reach some innovation but lack some fun imo : many colors and transitions that can't be guessed. I'm pretty sure some intuitiveness could have been added to help the player guess the combination result. That said, it works, it's visually appreciable, and there is some fun in it.
Thanks for the game :)

ROCKROCKET by Backterria 2014-12-20T20:54:00

Very nice first entry ! Mood is excellent and supported by great graphics.

Tips to improve : I didn't go through the whole game thought because of the lack of feedback that is discouraging (how much collectable left to find ? Where are the hidden one ? Are the hidden one required to unlock what's next ? is there something else next ? What are the $ elements ?). I didn't find out all of that, this kind feedback is missing in the game.

Thanks for the game !

CUBE Clicker by Polyganz 2014-12-13T08:28:00

Nice entry, lack a bit of innovation in my opinion but still enjoyable !

Nice entry, very fun ! Thanks for the game =)

Beat Bop Delicious by Kitch 2014-12-20T20:33:00

Fun game, not too easy neither too hard.
The sense of rythm seams optional, having more rythmic could be a plus for a music game.
Still a good job there, thanks for the game !

C.O.S.M.M.O.S. - Cool One Screen MMO Spacegame by Lythom 2014-12-10T08:24:00

Thank you for you feedback !
Updating a Post Jam version to take this into account.
For you to know, the game is about collecting reputation by trying to communicate with symbols (letters) in a hangman style game. You have to travel into world you haven't visited to collect new symbols.

There are a little more than 500 planets. I plan to reset the universe but keep the players reputation if too many of them are completed by players.

LD33 — You are the Monster

The Much Loved Monster by IndigoWolf 2015-08-24T09:15:00

Hi,
what I liked :
- The very unconfortable feeling of being forced to act "bad"
- The cohesion in the universe you described
Where imo could be improved :
- Have a proper end (or did I missed it ?)
- Avoid repetition, or add variants to repeated lines
- More originality in the universe, eveything sound like "imperialism cliche"
Thanks for the game !

MonsterHide by kiroukou 2015-09-08T12:12:00

What I liked :
- lot a details (animations, characters sentences, differents)
- realisation
- pretty fun
- interpretation of the theme

What imo could be improved :
- graphics (nice first time but can be improved, at least with a minimal predrawn lighting/shadowing of assets)
- sounds/music
- less random : it's more trial and error than real plannification, which reduce alot the "I'm an monster" sensation.

Primary objective by Aurel Bílý 2015-09-09T12:16:00

What I liked :
- almost everything, very good job !
What imo could be improved :
- readability (typo + text fx makes it really hard to read)
- that "I think the author wanted to add more tings but didn't have time" feeling. Not that bad, thanks to endings feedback handled correctly, but still there.
Excellent overall, went through all the stories without boring phases =)

Eat or Die! by colludium 2015-09-08T10:56:00

What I liked :
- Nomnomnomnomnom !
- Great animations
- Painted art
- Audio
- Playable to the end without being boring

What imo could be improved :
- atmosphere consistency (arts / sounds / text fonts)
- originality (it's a pretty basic plateformer with a straightforward theme interpretation)

Pretty good overall, thanks for the game =)

Little monster's way back to home by BuddaKaeks 2015-08-24T09:50:00

Hi !
What I liked :
- a good plateformer with some intersting puzzles
- the atmoshphere
- the length and difficulty are well balanced for the jam format
What imo could be improved :
- jump is a bit glitchy, you have to wait the mosnte rto collide properly with the floor to pe able to jump again. It makes the climbing parts very frustrating.
- the story line. If there is none it's not interesting to pretend there is one (better let the player discover the universe). "Philosophal" lines are ok thought because they just suggest a different point of view on the situation.
Good overall, thanks for the game !

The Bed Was Cold by lectvs 2015-08-25T07:31:00

Hi,
what I liked :
- Amazing atmosphere (graphics + sound + effects)
- Pretty graphics
- slow revealing of story with large place for interpretation
- polished with a proper ending
What imo could be improved :
- some actual enigma, even simple (it's more exploration and tries than thinking there)
- Wall glitches
- text popping sound end to be annoying
Almost perfect entry, awsome work here !
Thanks for the game =)

30 Seconds To Be The Monster by MartinFernandez 2015-09-08T10:43:00

What I liked :
- well realized
- good interest curve (short you don't get bored, always new stuff)
- fun to play
What IMO could be improved :
- art (it's not ugly but can be improved)
- adding sounds (and music)
- allow AZERTY (or others) keyboard to work =) (ie. using arrow key)
Good overall, thanks for the game !

Monstre de Coiffure by Patacorow 2015-09-10T12:45:00

Almost perfect : Juicy, fun, surprising, consistent (theme, atmosphere, graphics, audio).
What imo could be improved :
- better feedback on the time left (it maked at least one round to understand that the hand is pointing the time and when it'll stop. Maybe a simple red gradient would indicate the end mor eclearly).
- better feedback on the missed elements (what was wrong).
Excellent work =)

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

A Game About Bacteria by phi 2015-12-24T11:17:00

Hi !

What I liked :
- Theme interpretation
- peaceful mood (while exterminating the world :D)

What imo could be improved :
- Graphics are pretty basic, easy wins : add a textured background, desaturate color, use "danger" colors or symbols for the pils (ex: red toxic logo), choose a medical themed text font. For +++ : use actual food representation (even if doesn't make a lot of sense at a bacteria scale, it's prettier for the player and improve clarity)
- The game is a bit slow, but I'm not sure how fastening it would affect the mood so just an improvement idea but not sure if a good one.

Very good overall, thanks for the game !

Macosa and the Cave by: Stefen Menzel/Andrew Herbst by stefenism 2015-12-27T20:56:00

Hi !

What I like :
- innovative gameplay around the theme
- I could complete the game

What imo could be improved :
- controls : jump is unresponsive and glitchy, walking is out of control, collisions are unpredictable, only the laser is almost accurate (as long as you don't shoot downside). Global rework needed.

overall, the lack of precision in the controls massively lowered my game experience, but it's still a game, and it has qualities, so good job and thanks for the game =)

Cyber Rider 2023 by Andrew Patton 2016-01-03T12:02:00

Nice take on the "tron" concept, fun to play

Adder & Squoji: Daily Grind by Gunzil 2015-12-24T10:37:00

Hi !

What I liked :
- Overall realisation
- The story telling
- Universe consistency

What imo could be improved :
- more variety in enemy patterns, the difficulty here comes with fastest enemies creating the need for faster reactions. I'd have prefered more pattern to learn to decrease the reflex skill need in favor of strategy skill.
- 2 buttons ? I actually only needed to press both at the same time to complete the game, was much easier =) could be fixed with some more desynchronized pattern between left and right.
- Graphics (the drawing style is absolutely fine, but the image composition, the texturing, and the colors can be improved)

Excellent overall, I enjoyed the game, keep doing great stuff =)

Eldritch Trance by TheWzzard 2015-12-27T21:12:00

Hi !

What I liked :
- Great mood and atmoshpere, very unique feelings while playing this game
- Fit the theme perfectly with original approach

What imo could be improved :
- I didn't understand why I failed :( (heart fading out while the symboles were corrects in the 5th or 6th level)
- Sounds gets annoying in the long run
- A beautiful stellar background would have give the game even more magic

Overrall I enjoyed my time, thanks for the game !

Spindulum by yuigoto 2015-12-24T10:23:00

Hi !

What I liked :
- sounds and music !
- simple addicting gameplay

What imo could be improved :
- Spindulum control, the acceleration make it very hard to play, a fixed speed would have allow the player to be more in control I think
- graphics are... well not themed at all and doesn't help understand how the game works
- growth in the game could have been progress bar or a percent sarting at 50%. What I mean is that it has no special meaning. A background theme or a gameplay really impacted by the "growing" feeling would have helped the game to achieve more clarity.

Overall a game I enjoyed with a good realisation, well done =)

Zombie Avoid by Dovyski 2015-12-24T11:01:00

Hi !

What I liked :
- Graphics and mood
- Audio

What imo could be improved :
- Too much randomness, with the same path the level can go VERY differently
- Some bug where the wharacter would stop folowwing the path and go straight forward
- IA behaviour looks weird (maybe related to the randomness issue)

Overall the game is playable and have a great mood, good job ! Thanks for the game =)

From Seed to Snow by Kitfox 2015-12-20T11:55:00

Beautiful and very relaxing game. Loved graphics and music.
It perfectly fits the theme but it was exactly the type of game I expected to see so I don't find it much creative. Altouth it's a very good realisation.

LD35 — Shapeshift

Graphics and audio are neat. Everything else is just excellent.
Thanks for the game =)

Wallshift by Esenti 2016-05-07T20:30:00

204.64, pretty hard.

Nice flow, I feel the collision being strange (often swaped before the dot was stopped, a better feedback on it would help).
Thanks for the game !

MURDERSHIFTERS by Chaoclypse 2016-04-18T08:54:00

Hi, here's some feedback.
What I liked :
- Fun murder party idea
- Fit te theme very well
- good realisation
What imo could be improved :
- make the murdurer harder to find bu easier to kill (to lower the skill cap needed by the player the hunt the murdrer)
- A message the congrat the player after beating the last level (to give a "completed feeling").

Overall a very good realisation of a neat idea. Thanks for the game !

Have fun !

RhythmicalCreation by lycoris102 2016-04-18T09:17:00

Hi, here's some feedback.

What I liked :
- Awsome music
- Simple yet consistent and polished graphics, nice font choice
- Fun to play

What imo could be improved :
- I could "feel the beat" as I use to in guitar hero. I thinks it's because it's hard to be precise with a keyboard key. Not sure how to work around, I'd try mouse, other keys on the keyboard. Maybe the fact that you can't anticipate easily the first note of each screen because the first beat is at the very left of the screen.

Overall a neat realisation and enjoyable experience. Thanks for the game !

The Bobbington Shapeshifter by shotjona 2016-04-18T08:34:00

LD37 — One room

The Last Room by ncannasse 2016-12-12T12:04:00

Got an headache but still liked the experience. Mostly, sounds were a bit hard and it was very unpleasant to use a console from the "side".
The story is cool, the ton of unexcepted things make it fun, the realisation is good.
Thanks for the game =)

LD39 — Running out of Power

Noane's walk by sebbernery 2017-08-02T07:55:38Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Voice acting

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Pretty much everything else

** Overall **

I'd say more brainstorming will eventually lead you to a more promising idea. That said, the game is playable and there's a beggining of gameplay, good job for that ! Thanks for the game !

Ardis Mobile Mission by Franklins Ghost 2017-08-16T20:39:03Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Graphics, Art __ + __ Typography __ + __ Exploration of someone's life __ + __ Reactiveness of interface __ + __ Presentation of the game with animated gif

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ What could be a good exploration game turn into a skilled timed precision game I could not play good enough

** Overall **

Very good entry, one of the best I've played so far and it was not even the post-jam version. The idea is good and the realisation is even better. I bet the post-jam version fix the balancing of the game and allow a proper restart. Refreshing experience, thanks for the game !

Edit : Wow, the animated outro is just freaking good :D Nice job !

Surge - LD39 by IcyLava 2017-08-20T17:15:16Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Level design teaching gameplay __ + __ Easy to play / Hard to master __ + __ Mood

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Art direction : visuals and sound does the job but could be improved into a consisten atmosphere __ - __ Punch that throw you forward (into missiles). I find the punch job pretty cool, but I hated the fact it throws you forward because most of the time I had to go backward while hitting

** Overall **

Great realisation, neat gameplay, fun, balanced, you got a lot of good points here ! I enjoyed my time playing, Thanks for the game =)

I Need A Charger! by agentparsec 2017-08-20T17:31:38Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Music ! __ + __ Overall realisation __ + __ Funny store names

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ There should be tension because of battery running out, the character is not even running ! It feels slow where it should feel like a race __ - __ Graphics are pretty basic, I think there is room for improvement without losing the orientation tips the environment gives.

** Overall **

Good realisation, a bit slow but still enjoyable ! Thanks for the game =)

BugsTD by TheMonsterFromTheDeep 2017-08-20T16:07:35Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ a TD ! __ + __ animation of turrets __ + __ playable and has core mechanics

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Pace is too slow, it's sooo long to get new turrets __ - __ Is there a end ? There was no indication of progression __ - __ The game is not really about power and treat neither TD nor power management in innovative way

** Overall **

Still something for 12 hours ! Thanks for the game =)

The Factory by Jack D. Taylor 2017-08-16T19:37:57Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Fun game of exploration __ + __ Overall realization (controls, gameplay feeling) __ + __ Blocks of building that turn off that help spot zones where remaining boxes are

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Impossible to succeed on first run __ - __ End being a memory game of all spots, got bored before I found all of them

** Overall **

Good game ! Not much 3D games out there with such a big area to explore, even if I didn't get to find every box, I still had pleasure exploring this game. good work =)

Zero Volt X by deepnight 2017-08-02T09:57:18Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ The zip file named after the game, first one I test I could find easily in my download folder. __ + __ A different genre from you usual entries, that's a spirit I like ! __ + __ A vertical shooter calibrated for casual players that don't require the player to memorize all the level patterns. __ + __ Art, Mood.

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ The game feel predictable and would benefit some unusual or surprising elements. __ - __ Is the lack of sounds on html5 target a heaps limitation or a lack of time to implement it ? __ - __ Source code not available :(

** Overall **

You know how to make games, right ? The design details makes the game feel very right and it's pleasant to play. Thanks for the game !

Sarlacc Dungeon by luthwyhn 2017-08-20T16:47:15Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Roguelike ! __ + __ Various encounters __ + __ Time to figure out any situation before having to make a decision

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Too much random, you can't really build up a strategy __ - __ Most of the time you have no choice except pass through or the unique action associated to the encounter (scrap / attack)

** Overall **

I had fun, I didn't suspect the game would be that engaging ! The intro wall of text is a little bit intimidating, but then it's all pleasure. Thanks for the game =)

Apprentice by ThiefViolinist 2017-08-20T18:45:29Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ The Game presentation that sells the game well __ + __ Finally some magic in this tech jam

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ It feels buggy, characters are knockbacked out of the screen and moves weirdly, attacks doesn't match the animation timing. __ - __ Controls : having left and right turning your character instead of moving it in that direction have been abandonned in action games since… Little Big Adventure ? Those controls might be used for car or robot control, but mostly keep it for micro machine. __ - __ Graphics in top view are not as attractive as they are in the description. The magical effect doesn't really mix well the the rest as well.

** Overall **

I see a lot of work there, unfortunatly it's not as good as it could be yet. You might also want to take inspiration from recent games to identify and re-use working recipes. But really, you already have a game and descent 3D graphics ! This experience will get you further in the polish phase next time, keep going ! Thanks for the game =)

CG Petrel MK II Simulator by Dagegen 2017-08-20T15:56:45Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Feel like controlling a complex ship __ + __ UI theme, mood

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Clarity of UI __ - __ Is it actually possible de refill the battery ? Victory condition was not very clear __ - __ Adding some space atmospheric music + realistic sounds would have fit your graphics better I think

** Overall **

Enjoyed the play even if it was not easy to figure out how to play, good work on it ! Thanks for the game =)

Devil On Rails by FiloGC 2017-08-20T16:28:16Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Insert Soul =D __ + __ frenetic button smashing ! __ + __ Music and mood

__ - __ Never found use for dash, blocking and could not use remote special __ - __ Hardly found use to the remote attack since the is so much enemy

** Overall **

I had fun, good work ! Thanks for the game =)

Last Shine by Fran Segura 2017-08-16T20:59:31Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Art style __ + __ Theme interpretation __ + __ Musics and sounds

** What imo could be improved **

__ -- __ The fights does not feels right, for a core gameplay this is very bad :( It's not clear when you gonna get hit, enemies restore and hit back even when being combo-ed. __ - __ Got kicked out of screen by an enemy, couldn't get back, had hard time re-entering the game, the intro is really too long... __ - __ Gameplay should be explained while playing, several screen of touch description is pretty boring

** Overall **

Got really hooked by the ideas and graphics. The music follows very well, but the realization and gameplay is way behind. It's frustrating because I really wanted to play the game I expected while seeing the promising presentation, and I was totally in until I started to actually play. Still a great job and a fresh idea, keep going !

edit: Could go to the end in the post jam version. It's a bit better but I feel the fights still lacks precision and clarity. Glad I could go to the end, the story is pleasing and well illustrated with great music =)

The Quest for the Mighty Battery Charger by Solah 2017-08-01T10:45:45Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Musics and sounds __ + __ Mood __ + __ Just the right difficulty ! The mechanics are puzzling and once you figure it out you can beat the game. __ + __ The sudden power cut felt sooo true. It triggered memories…

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Graphics, they are not that bad really ! But could be better. __ - __ Content. The game have very few element of content. They are sufficient to make the game fun and enjoyable but there could be more of it !

** Overall **

Nice entry, fun to play, not much content but I enjoyed the experience alot. Thanks for the game !

__ + __ Gameplay, variety __ + __ Music

** What imo could be improved **

T.A.G. Reborn by Code Dream 2017-08-01T10:20:50Z

** What I liked **

** + ** Musics ** + ** Mood ** + ** Sounds

** What imo could be improved **

** - - ** Level Design ! * It's so dark I sometime lost without even having a chance to see what's happening * This lead to the game being memory based instead of puzzling * Felt into the void when descending down to the normal path down, but because I couldn't see the arrival and their was a hole on the wall I felt just beside the landing platform.

** - ** Guiding the player * You don't need the pet that tells you things : I already pushed boxes in about 9001 games already, the saw look scary enough, a 'press "F" key' when near a button is enough tip. * Gameplay blocked during the door cinematic is frustrating. The sound + a clear path of where to go next would be sufficient and better for smoother experience.

** Overall **

It would be absolutely enjoyable without the frustrating level design, and the not so smooth control of the character. I found that the graphics are good enough, the music and sounds stand out by their quality, and the mood is great. Thanks for the game !

Bot Beater by SMA 2017-08-20T16:19:59Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Music ! It kicks you in, ant set a 90's game mood I didn't know I miss that much =D __ + __ Don't know why I kept trying. Because of great fun I guess :D

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ So hard it turns the game into a puzzle game with skilled realization, whereas it is sells as a "frenecticly keep fighting or you loose". __ - __ Resolution is a bit small __ - __ Collisions are a bit unpredictable sometimes

** Overall **

I had a lot of fun ! Thank you very much for the game =)

Deep Space Nine Volts by Boxfort 2017-08-02T07:43:48Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Musics and sounds, simple yet well adjusted __ + __ Stimulating and fun game __ + __ Design quality, after turning around once or twice in the ship, I understand how it worked very easily. Good point on design for that. __ + __ The small details like automatic doors and objects on the floor

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Graphics, they aldready do the job, the next step is to get fancy with them :D __ - __ Precision in the controls is correct but need some practise to get right, and I still made mistakes which felt frustrating because my management felt good. (I still managed to win so that's ok, but it could feel even smoother) __ - __ Have a little crazyness. As stated, the gameplay is stimulating and fun, but it could be brought even further for a very unique experience. Not sure how, you may find this kind of things in your very own experience.

** Overall **

Very impressive first entry, fun to play and I enjoyed the experience alot. Thanks for the game !

Enceladus Explorer by Faulkin 2017-08-16T19:55:03Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Environment __ + __ Sounds

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Intro text that fly away before you can read it __ - __ Soooo long to move down then up again with little to do while travelling __ - __ Graphics are detailed but did felt very consistent

** Overall **

I didn't get a lot of fun with your game, but I appreciated the hard work on realization, graphics, ambiant and sound. Now that you are good at modeling and setting a mood, I'd suggest to get deeper into game design =) Good work anyway, thanks for the game !

FireMan by SumGamStudio 2017-08-16T20:14:23Z

** What I liked **

__ + __ Background and train graphics __ + __ Music __ + __ Original objectives

** What imo could be improved **

__ - __ Music hurt my hears because of the initial volume being very loud __ - __ Controls don't feel very responsive (inertia) __ - __ Characters + table and chairs graphics not consistent with the rest __ - __ Random fall off because when you know how close the rolling thing is, it's too late to run back

** Overall **

I had more fun I expected trying harder after failing the first run with frustration. There is still room for improvement but it is a cool idea and a good realization. Thanks for the game !

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

Irwin McSpenders by LeviDSmith 2017-12-17T16:14:58Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Fun take on the theme ✱ Neat realisation with great audio and graphics

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Pace of the game is a bit slow, the game mechanics quickly get repetitive, both point make the game become boring pretty fast. ✱ The game is a combination of 3rd person shooter and collectible gathering game, but the gameplays does not sustain each other in this implementation. When you combine mechanics, try to have them interact as much as possible. In a shooter/collectible case classical interaction loop is that the collectible allows to get stronger by buying more stuff and increasing enemy strength force player to collect things to get stronger. In pacman collectible are slowing movement which make enemies more dangerous. This kind a relation between the 2 core mechanics is missing here. ✱ I assumed cash = score, but did not understand the point of other informations (tax, deductions, etc.). I understand what they mean in real world, but I can't see the purpose of them in the game. Edit: after re-reading the instruction in the game entry page, my understanding is that it is a criticism of real world taxes and is related to dependents mechanics. I think adding clarity of the main goal + how those mechanics works in game would improve the experience.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ The realisation is really great! With a better game design implementation you could produce top level experiences. Thanks for the game!

Haunted House on 43rd Street by Franklins Ghost 2017-12-21T10:43:48Z

Hi there, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ You brought me in, the mood is excellent ✱ Animations for all scenes, impressive! ✱ Played on my phone, all went fine, overall realisation is neat

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ The take on the theme is great, but there was not enough options to make the idea works that way (at least for the player, I'm pretty sure it got worse for the dev ;-) ) ✱ Sounds (on mobile) were unpleasant to hear. There must be ways so that they can remain in the mood without being pain to hear.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Technical realisation is great, story and moods are strange and disturbing: that's great again! I wish it was longer, thanks for the game!

LD 40 - Aliena Raptum by masterkrepta 2017-12-17T13:42:14Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Controls are smooth ✱ The gameloop works

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Graphics are very inconsistent, I think there is not 2 sprites at the same scale. You should use the same definition for all your assets to get some consistency in your graphic design. ✱ Sounds are mostly annoying, to avoid repetition feeling you can add some variation each time they are played, using pitch random variation ie. ✱ Helicopters spawn randomly on screen, which is very frustrating because unpredictible. Making them appear offscreen ie. would help to make it more believable.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ The gameloop is there and works, with some focus on consistency and believability you can achieve better games. Thanks for the game!

Oversize Load by quadtree 2017-12-21T10:20:55Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Fun with physics engine ! ✱ It really get worse, great take on the theme ✱ Music is nice and doesn't get annoying at all ✱ Sounds are neat ✱ High Score Table

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Graphics are clean and readable, maybe using a more original theme would improve both inovation feeling and mood. To improve in graphics the next step would be to add in the drawings both texture and lighting+shadowing to give volume. ✱ Engine sound missing :o

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Very great overall, had a lot of fun! Thanks for the game!

A time paradox by lythom 2017-12-04T22:59:41Z

Thank you all for the feedbacks!

@Wibblymat @rob-white @dave-siegel @boorik the controls feels clunky because I did not succeed (yet!) to make it smooth to control in real time a character that is moved turn based (currently one turn every 500ms). Turn base is required to ensure reliability in the solutions, I have several ideas to solve the issue. I'll try to fix this in a post-jam version.

@boorik I didn't compose the music but used instead a generator : Music from Jukedeck - create your own at http://jukedeck.com.

@asterisix Fixed ! The repository is now public.

ICE RINK RALLY by japes 2017-12-17T13:23:58Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Fun racing game ✱ Take on the theme ✱ Played with a friend! ✱ Controls feeling ✱ Online leaderboard when playing solo

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Graphics are readable but not really pretty ✱ Gamepad support ✱ gameplay elements to reduce the skill gap problem between players of differents skills, to make it chanllenging for everyone ✱ Well that's pretty much all, I don't expect more from a jam game so it's good already. Not sure how that game could grow, maybe an AI competitor with a tournament would hook the player to play more and find "strategies" to handle the crowd and defeat competitor ?

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Had a lot of fun! I think it would get repetitive quickly but I did enjoy the game you have there. Thanks for the game!

Gladitorial Moneta Victoria by Aggrathon 2017-12-17T13:05:19Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Micro management game that works pretty well ✱ Variety of stuff and moves ✱ innovative take of the theme regarding inventory management

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Too much randomness makes it frustrating, there are very few ways to anticipate moves from opponents, loot can be horrible ✱ Graphics transmit clearly the information the play needs but is not really appealing. ✱ I go appreciate the effort on the typography, but because it's hard to read it should be used only for short texts (title, buttons, main board) and a neutral typo for tutorials and longer texts would fit better. ✱ Layout (how elements are agenced) is claustrophobic ! Give more space (margins, padding, bigger font size) to you elements.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I did not won the game but had great time managing this random stuff coming in. Very enjoyable overall, thanks for the game !

Space Oddity by mar3k 2017-12-17T12:44:17Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Controls are responsive and smooth enough ✱ Fun to play, power increase feels good ✱ Alone in a spaceship mood works

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Never sure when a vending machine is refilled, the info should be displayed (or that info is missing on purpose) ✱ Theme interpretation is very straightforward and the game doesn't have that unique element that make it different. Giving personnality to your game can be very valuable. From what I can tell with only htis game it won't come from graphics or sounds, so it can be a specific mechanic. Ie, in your case maybe emphasis more the enemy strength mechanic you have, make in central and extract all the uniqueness you can out of it to give a really original experience. As it is it feels pretty classic.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I did not complete the game (I was very close to !) but had great time figuring out how things work and firing those aliens. Nice realisation overall, thanks for the game !

Crystal Dude by Raogs 2017-12-26T12:21:18Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ The Idea of damages being proportional to ammo ✱ Sounds are nice

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Ammo management for damage is not a thing, it feels that there is almost no significant difference whereas you have ammo in stock or not. ✱ The game would be alot more funnier with more feedbacks, effects on hit, lifebar that decreases (or any visual representation of fading life for enemies), knockbacks, particles, all the kind of stuff

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ It's not very fun yet, but it's still a game. Good work for what you've done yet, and good luck for you next game dev. Thanks for the game!

The Shadow From Below by Arkthalohs 2017-12-17T16:56:18Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Clever mechanics and balance ✱ Board game are pretty rare in jams, it's refreshing ✱ Despite complexity, I don't think I've encountered a bug

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ The game need alot more feedbacks, it's not possible to understand all that is happening. A simple step could be a log journal that recap last actions. A best step would be to add immediate feedback everywhere possible. ✱ The map doesn't really look like a map I thought is was some kind of diagram at first. ✱ It's hard to get into the game, all the reading and rules must be understood upfront and it's an effort to do. The game would greatly benefit of a progressive introduction of game mechanics with help tips for exemple. ie. not all rooms are unlocked at start then an explanation tells how they work when they unlock. No room is broken on the first turn and when the first broken room event occurs them a tip explain that dice must be accumulated in the top zone (it took me 3 games to understand how to fix a room).

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ For your next time I suggest a game that is a bit more simple to implement, with a "board-in" strategy to get players into the game. That said, it's a big realisation you have there for a board game in such a small amount of time. Good job!

Jonathan The Sorcerer by ncannasse 2017-12-04T16:21:01Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Audio and mood fits gameplay perfectly ✱ Visuals and animation details ✱ Easy retry mechanics to experiment a lot ✱ Hard but well thought puzzles

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Colors are pretty agressive and could be better balanced ✱ Advanced puzzle mechanics are not intuitive at first ✱ Maybe including some surprising/unexpected elements would give another fresh air to release the tense of the latests hard puzzles

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I had very hard time to complete the game, specially just after 48h game jam ! But I did enjoy the experience.

Thanks for the game !

Presents by gilborn 2017-12-17T17:42:08Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Visuals and audio are really neat ✱ Christmas spirit ;)

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ It's not clear how close you need to be to be able to open a present, a "currently openable" indicator would prevent the borring behaviour of mass clicking until the present opens. ✱ Rules are too simple and not innovative enough to be interesting very long, you could spice it up! ✱ Use of Unity default font for texts in pretty sad, there are christmas fonts out htere that will get the job done.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Simple yet enjoyable short experience. Thanks for the game!

Area 51 by jondalnas 2017-12-26T12:46:00Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Overall fun ✱ Nervous play ✱ Audio works well

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Very hard to predict what's gonna happen due to camera giving a very narrow view. Most of the time you preshot things out of screen and hope a bullet won't come back. Getting in action is too dangerous and not an option. ✱ The "slower with more ammo" mechanic is innovative but you don't really take advantage of it: no optimal stratgies or specific situation really benefit from it. As this is your core innovative mechanic you really should build the design of the game around it. ✱ Graphics are readable but we all like prettiness =)

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Had fun! Implementation is good, some promising ideas, Keep going! Thanks for the game!

S - The Game by Stadoblech 2017-12-22T11:21:32Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Innovative puzzle, clever mechanics ✱ Great music, very peaceful ✱ Overall calm atmosphere is confortable

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Pace is too slow, you have to wait for those timer to end, and there is nothing to do or think about while waiting. S moves very slowly. Also Difficulty growth is a bit slow but it's a correct rate I think, just don't make the difficulty ramp go slower. ✱ Got discouraged quickly because retries feel boring to set up again and again.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ A peaceful experience that got me in for a few levels thanks to some clever mechanics and a well adjusted difficulty, but in the long run it gets more frustrating than fun unfortunatly. Thanks for the game!

Super childcare assistant by boorik 2017-12-04T14:18:37Z

 **What I liked:** ✱ Overall technical realisation ✱ hard challenge of doing online game :D ✱ Fun ! ✱ Instant board in ✱ Earth population counter

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Graphics get the job done but could be fancier. ✱ Theme interpretation is great but is not conveyed by game rules (the more baby you come across the easiest it is to win), so the pitch line "Children, the more you have, the worst it is" does not really work.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Fun entry! If there is some planned online session let me now (tweet !) I'll join =D

Populous by Astavie 2017-12-22T11:01:49Z

Nice, since @japes already did an in-depth review i just have to rate this time :D

To gives some feedback, I'd add to previous comments that I was sad it ended very abrubtly, I had thousands of billions and then 0 in one turn (I believe this is due to CO2 but not sure), and I'd have liked to understand since it took me some time to get there :( Well, it demonstrates the main loop works well and even cards out of the screen + cards you can't click to prevent from enjoying the game. Well done!

A Day in Granple-Bee's Garden by Togimaro 2020-05-08T14:32:20Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ peaceful art and animations ✱ nice music ✱ growing flowers

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ the "bee teleportation" when moving left and right and the inertia makes it very frustrating to target what you want ✱ The objectives (time ? size ?) and the consequences of losing branches is not very clear, I felt a bit abandonned with the tree which I did not find confortable

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I've not been captivated by the game but the care given to animations and mood tells you have put good energy and vibes in it. Thanks for the game!

You're Invited! by Ellian 2020-05-10T09:42:37Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ art: pixels and music are top and fit the mood ✱ The letter main screen ✱ The mood ✱ The balance/challenge: I played twice, got a better score the second time but didn't beat the game. I felt I could win with more training.

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Playing with gamepad, the interaction zone would benefit from being a bit more generous. I sometimes struggled with precisous where I'd have prefer focusing on management ✱ The activity is pretty repetitive, the small nickelback event is fun but barely enough to create enough variety

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Good game! Had fun playing it, the realisation is very good and it feels good. Thanks for the game!

Keep it Alive, Keep them Alive by jeremyfa 2020-04-24T21:42:54Z

Simple and efficient, both for the game design and the visual, which makes the game very harmonious. Great job !

DUNDER by nuclearfriend 2020-04-26T14:13:04Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ incredible design, the level design/mechanics works perfectly ✱ harmonious aesthetics ✱ Puzzle difficulty is balanced just like I like them :)

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Very frustrated I got a bug in the last level I couldn't remove the toggleable block once placed (it was just under the pikes at the beggining and got it wired and unwired). ✱ I'm not found of the art style, I find it consistant but I wouldn't like the watch that for hours ✱ Audio feels a bit cold

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Incredible puzzles, I love it! Would play an extended version !

Keep Defender by mango-malarkey 2020-05-10T11:50:24Z

Hi there! I like the game mechanic. The skill / management skill balance is very great and I enjoyed a lot trying to find the best strategy to go farther. I think the cost balance is just like it have to be, it makes the game challenging but it's ok. What I regret is that enemies doesn't collapse on the IT when damaging it like in most tower defense, because you just cannot use the IT health as a resource: the moment you are out of ammo, the amount of HP left doesn't matter anymore. Anyway, good game you got here!

Morphology by Shess 2020-04-26T13:44:55Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ aesthetics is all good: colors, art style, fonts, sounds, animations, UI. Very balanced and harmonious. ✱ Warm in a cold world could be the game pillar: it works for every aspect of the game and bring a lot of consistency. ✱ Variety of content is pleasing, I unlocked the 10 evolutions and enjoyed the exploration

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ The evolution are very expected and once you got down one line it's too easy to guess what's required to get the others. I'd have liked more surprises but on the other hand this "easy" feel of the game also gives it the warm and chill feeling which is very comportable. So more surpises with the same challenge would be perfect haha ^^

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I enjoyed the experience! The overall quality you got into this game is very impressive. Well done!

Ad Herbis by tydyus 2020-04-26T13:13:51Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Good "alchemist" feel due to nice visuals, mood, and intriguing ingredients ✱ Nice music ✱ Good amount of content (to keep entertainment for the duration of the game)

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ transparency color in the pills is very disturbing ✱ difficulty could be raised: once the player is taught was a pill or a cream is made of, let him guess the missing ingredients. Give a few exemple of color mix then let the player guess what should be in to get the color. ✱ transitions are a bit slow, it's pretty tedious to prepare commands with more than 2 or 3 items.

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I enjoyed the game entierly, good job! Thanks for the game!

The Tale of the Lumberjack who did not want to cut trees by Thomas_Bringer 2020-05-10T11:31:09Z

Nice game! There a lot of puzzles for a game jam entry and they are very qualitative! I think the story part is a bit naive and could be written in a more powerfull way with the same "whoose you destiny" topic, maybe try to be a bit more deductive and a bit less descriptive. I'd say take inspiration from the level design and reuse that same skill, since the LD work very well with that "discover and quess the pieces" aspect. I've not be carried by the aesthetic also, yet it's still very acceptable for a jam entry (and even more considering the overall other content). Overall, a very neat game that I enjoyed playing! Thanks for the game!

SURVIVOR by Amirreza01 2020-05-03T05:48:07Z

Hey there ! I liked that the game is fully playable and the mechanics combo in unusual. I think the overall game feel could be improved : the shield rotation feel weird, the platform positionning is a bit random: you can't predict how far away you can put it without your character to fall making the "guess how far the box can go with it's inertia" the core mechanics of the platforming part, which I didn't enjoy much. The graphics would gain a bit more polish, I'd suggest you focus on resolution consistancy (make sure all your assets looks the same quality) and on the color palette (try using a very limited color scheme). Overall, hey I still enjoyed discovering your game and it works pretty well, good work!

Sewer's Plague by Nicolas Revillon 2020-04-26T12:46:40Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Overall fun ✱ Sounds not very original at first but actually is thanks to the double defense/attack objective ✱ Audio works well ✱ Graphics are consistent and pretty

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ a few additional keyframes in some animations might improve the animation quality (your might find use for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2i6FXVjNT0) ✱ collision detection is not very clear, the core mechanics is about being very subtle/elegant with positionning yet the percieved precision is barely enough to feel totally in control

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Had fun! I put some improvements to seek excellence put the game quality is very high already and the experience was great. Good job !

Metahealer by Strupf 2020-05-10T09:56:19Z

The overall realisation is very well done, art/audio/coding are very balanced with a great overall quality. I've found the game to be very punitive and got discouraged to keep trying at some point. Still enjoyed the experience, thanks for the game!

Keep IT Alive by Gronk 2020-05-08T14:02:58Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Overall mood and progression ✱ Audio is a bit raw but works well ✱ Pixel art is simple but works well ✱ That intro looks very pro

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ Taking more risks on the theme and mechanics the story and main loop fit a very straighforwad approach to the theme. I'd have liked something different! ✱ in the end the comabt system miss variety

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ I finished the game and had fun! Good job and thanks for the game!

Keep It Charged by LaZZyDev72 2020-05-10T13:09:52Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ art: visuals and music are great, sounds works well ✱ quality of realisation, it feels neat ✱ The mood

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ The robot doesn't feel reactive under the finger, sometimes an input will just get ignored and then it gets ugly: I though the input was good so you type the next move which maked the robot go wrong, loose the level because of this, slooooooow transition to restart. The delay punition for inputing too fast feel so unfair! I suggest you implement an input buffer that allows key stroke a few ms in advance (duration to be tested until it feels good). ✱ Restart should be instant (as much as possible) in a puzzle game, once lost player wants to be able to be back in the flow as quickly as possible. ✱ Levels are very easy. The "charging battery" is a good idea but it gives too much tips on the solution. Maybe having a bigger initial pool and fewer batteries?

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ Sweat game overall, your created an appealling game thanks to great visual and music. Good work!

All That Remains by JustCreative 2020-05-08T14:18:12Z

Hi, here is some feedback,

 **What I liked:** ✱ Very good narrative, the choice to what you upload in the end in very profound ✱ the feeling of being in space with 0 G ✱ Music

:muscle: **What imo could be improved:** ✱ The collisions would benefit of being a bit more adjusted ✱ The intro texts that cannot be skipped neither waited for makes it both took long with some text being cut before I can read it. ✱ A keyboard key that skip the text so that I can use only the keyboard and don't need the mouse at all ✱ Too bad the game bugged in the end when I choose to get back to Amanda!

:sparkles: **Overall** ✱ You got me in, I travelled in space and uploaded some cool stuff for futur species to find about. Good job!
