LD37 — One room

Digital Dojo by d3uced 2016-12-13T15:28:00

Dodging past enemies was very satisfying.
Personally I would have preferred a quicker or more impactfull attack.

Button The Game by EhoNo1 2016-12-12T16:25:00

I really liked the concept and style.
It felt a bit lackluster gameplay-wise, but with more levels and more challenging button combinations this could be a great game.

The Evidence Room by TrampolineTales 2016-12-12T18:06:00

That was fun.
My only complaint is, that the font on the tags was hard to read.

I would love to have an endless-mode with randomly generated tags and requests.

Does anything happen once you beat the game? I'm not sure if I won or got stuck.

LD38 — A Small World

Tub of War by quill18 2017-05-01T12:55:15Z

Excellent sound! The graphics and gameplay are also great, but for me the awesome sound effects are what really makes this game shine.

100% Infected by Jackson Frankland 2017-05-14T16:38:00Z

Very atmospheric and creepy. That soundeffect scared me soo much the first time I encountered an enemy.

Dr. Plumb by phi 2017-05-14T09:49:20Z

Uhh doctor, why does this patient have two livers?

Great game.

A small world by CoderDozer 2017-05-14T09:39:45Z

I really like the style of your game. The graphics and music are nice. Like someone else has already mentioned a button to speed up the text would have been nice.

Pod2000 by nidup 2017-05-01T17:05:41Z

👍 Relying on such small pictures and audioclips really added to the feeling, that you were remote-controlling a farawy device. What an awesome atmosphere!

Walkabout by Galan 2017-05-01T16:32:31Z

That's a really interesting concept for story-telling / a game. I also like your art-style, despite being so minimalistic it absolutely has charm. The end felt a bit "too on the nose" though.

Little Italy by hiki911 2017-05-14T12:22:42Z

Could be due to my oldish PC, but the game was somewhat lagging.

Dotworld by ceosol 2017-05-14T16:07:28Z

Pretty cool idea. I would love to see your concept as a mechanic in a proper game. Maybe with more terraine types and puzzles or challenges where you have to reach certain goals with limited ressources or build certain structures.

Globalisation by dlweatherhead 2017-05-14T11:57:12Z

Good job!

Overall I liked your game, but the music was annoying, so I had to mute it. And I didn't really use the camera/rotating of the planet, I found it most efficient to position the camera in a way that I can see all nations at the same time and then just kept it there.

Newbie God by nuria-fl 2017-05-01T17:15:04Z

What a cute game! It took me quite a while until till I figured out how to get to the good ending.

Flat World by Bryley 2017-05-04T11:21:49Z

I wonder why those villagers are so angry

Congratulations for your first Ludum Dare, you did a good job.

On Windows spamming of the Shift-key (when you are building) triggers the "sticky keys" feature, which is a bit annoying.

Defend Your Small World by arcadonauts 2017-05-14T12:44:28Z

Does the Rainbow Shield acctually do something? I bought it once, but couldn't tell if it did something special.

Boardom by AniMerrill 2017-05-01T19:28:58Z

That's a cool game!

Here are some things I noticed while playing: + It's very easy to get stuck on corners or accidentally push boxes in an unintended manner (which probably has more to do with my skill, or the lack of thereof :joy: and not necessarily bad game design) + The music, while quite good at first, got annoying pretty fast + Giving the boxes and the exit an animation is a smart idea to make them visually stand out, despite everything being the same color

btw, how much training did it take to come up with that speed run?

Shrinking City by sari 2017-05-05T08:54:05Z

Are there any disadvantages from only building residential areas?

Small World Smasher by howardcs 2017-05-01T13:40:44Z

Puhh, this is quite hard. I played till level 6, then I gave up. The only complaint I have is that sometimes you get a color for which you don't have any viable targets. This is even more frustrating when it happens multiple times in a row.

temp.png

Otherwise it's a solid game.

Chuck and Bull by CheesyMoo 2017-05-02T11:50:09Z

I like the background music, did you make it yourself?

When you spam the spacebar near the booze? you can get both musics to play simultaneously.

Tabletop World by Aaron Hance 2017-05-03T08:43:06Z

Building a village was quite fun! I built so many houses, until one of the dudes started bugging out, poor little guy

Do the trees always give you exactly one sappling? I didn't pay too much attention to this detail, but I had the impression that the overall amount of trees always stayed the same while I played.

Is there a way to regain health?

NON GENDERED FISH CHARACTER ESCAPES FISHBOWL by heartles 2017-05-14T16:17:08Z

That's pretty cool, especially considering you also had to work. I liked that you took the time to build in a few story elements.

RC kitchen Throwdown by oxrock 2017-05-02T12:10:17Z

Great game, I got to 3:23 but then I was too cocky and the dog got me... I agree that it would be very nice if you could look around freely, with the static camera you are not seeing the dog for most of the game.

A Small Wheel by Evan Minto 2017-05-14T09:59:28Z

I like your spin on the "Small World" theme.

My only complaint is that to me the controlls felt a bit difficult, I think this is due to not being able to control the directions while jumping (which is unrealistic, I know, but pretty common in platformers).

Boat Making by fraanns 2017-05-14T12:09:05Z

In the end it's a bit disappointing that you don't even get see the boat you built.

35 Cells by jmdx 2017-05-02T14:40:28Z

I got to ten. I lost quite a few times because I spawned too close to the red square and it got me before I could react. Maybe a buffer, that prevents blue and red from spawning too close to each other, would be a good idea?

LD39 — Running out of Power

CG Petrel MK II Simulator by Dagegen 2017-08-01T19:23:56Z

You need to activate the radar to see the asteroids. The monitor in the upper right tells which systems are active.
