The Linux port is not working : you have to add the data folder in the archive. And is it possible to add a 64bits binary ?

The Linux port is not working : you have to add the data folder in the archive. And is it possible to add a 64bits binary ?
The linux build works perfectly :).
I'm happy I was able to play to this very good game !
Very good game !
But don't forget that not everyone has a qwerty keyboard :)
This game is amazing !
I like the concept !
Very nice concept ! Don't forgot the ZQSD support for non-qwerty users :).
I don't understand : why is there another game as similar than this one ? http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-30/?action=preview&uid=25914
I like the art style, but unfortunately when you walk in diagonal, you don't walk parallel to the edges of the cases.
Interesting one. It's hard to understand how to start, but after few bankrupts, I understood the concepts and it's pretty fun.
Hard to get in and understand, but after that, very good game !
Too short for such an awesome game, I want more ! Lacks a support for ZQSD.
The cape was for reduce the guards reactivity when you walk in their sight (as anyone knowns, it's really hard to see someone wearing a red cape).
Unfortunately, I didn't had time to add game mechanism where the cape is really usefull.
Thanks all of you for your reviews, thanks to you trashcan, I laughed ;-). Ilseroth, I can't agree more, especially on the music, I did it something like one hour before the end with no experience in music (understand, I pressed random notes for half an hour on pixitracker). But I'm really happy just by having produce a music.
I really enjoyed it.
If loading is stuck, you should buy a new boat (by buying some boat parts).
Science can lead to more capacity in harbours.
Unfortunately, when harbours are full, logging window is totally flooded.
This is a very good game, immersion after some seconds.
Final time, 2:02.
I experimented some lags with Firefox, everything was fine with Chromium.
Good game !
Cool game, the last level shows that you have a solid concept. I guess you didn't had time to make more levels, too bad, i wanted to continue :).
Cool game, I saw yours when looking for haxe's games but I wasn't able to before the bugfixes, thank you. Oh, and I learned fun fact about keyboards ! :)
Hard but fun !
Simple and efficient ! Very good game.
Very good !
Good usage of theme, I'm really happy to see a game made with Godot !
That was fun, I think it could be enhanced by giving a score (depending on how many cases you digged) :).
Ludum Dare are a very good way to learn new technologies, it may have been better, for example, if humans were able to jump (to kill you when on the ceil), but I guess you missed time to finish all what you wanted to do. By the way, welcome in Ludums, don't forget to participate to the next one ! :)
Nobody said it was simple to stop a missile launcher invasion trying to take down your couch when controlling an helicopter. I guess.
Good fast paced game :).
Welcome to LudumDare ! I hope you have learn plenty of stuff and you'll do better next time :).
Good usage of the theme !
That's very meta or I didn't understood the game.
Yeay, I killed all mices ! What ? This is not what the game was about ?
The game is excellent : it's original, the theme interpretation is awesome, the realisation is very good (impressive for a jam game), humour present everywhere (with Monty Python reference, nice), same for graphics and music, bref, very good entry. Congratulations !
This is indeed a pretty accurate monday morning simulator.
A little hard until you remember the room configuration associated with buttons. Very good game !
That remains me Paper Please. You had a good concept, but I guess you didn't had time enough to do everything you wanted.
Oh my god, on the ground everyone, this guy has a water bottle ! (That's a pretty realistic game about airport security in fact :p).
That's interesting, the game could have been longer :). Anyway, congratulations, I hope we will see you at the next ludum !
Basically, it's a "I'm in a night club and I want to go to the bathroom" simulator. Very realistic.
I like this dancing ambiance with fast music and flash/light effects for a reflexion game. It makes it original and fun
Wow, that's hard ! The fast paced gameplay with the dark graphisms and the deep music make a nice mood.
For the next time, don't forget the AZERTY keyboards please ;-).
There is a lot of potential in this game. Big pharma have a big issue on conveyor handeling ("all" machines have same speed (normal or half normal)). With your game system, I think it can add a really interesting layer of complexity with the placement of machines (with employees working on multiple production lines, you design all your productions together, when in BigPharma you design multiple independent production line which is a little boring).
The game lacks some feedbacks (it's hard to understand what a machine is currently doing) and other features (rotating machines) but it's a good entry !
Funny game, with a good crescendo difficulty.
Nice entry ! The difficulty is very progressive, that's a good thing.
Oh god it's you ! Thank you so much for your tool, it's so awesome !
Nice ambiance, but it's a very hard game (hopfully the tutorial is well done, it helps a lot) !
Very nice game. There is two minor issues I saw : you can't pass dialogs (for the dialogs you already had like the one you get just before the FBI guy turn). And the blue color for dialog of the FBI girl make it barely readable.
Beside those little things, I really enjoyed playing, the story is wonderful.
Good game, with procedural generation, that's cool !
Best theme interpretation I saw until now ! Very well polished game.
It would be better with some sound, but it's fun and the realisation is good.
Nice entry. And, I played on Firefox without any trouble (v53 64bits on Ubuntu).
Sorry for sources, I'll figure out to solve the problem with Gitlab, but for the moment, I uploaded an archive. Thanks for your feedbacks.
Very nice entry ! You have a good key gameplay concept.
You have found a good core gameplay, it would have been interesting to develop more mechanics around it (e.g., bacteria evolution, different ennemies, ...), but hey, I know, time ! ;-)
I'll check it in some days to see how it evolve ;-). It lacks some feedback (hard to see how useful was the industry I placed for example) but very original for a Ludum game !
Too bad, I saw nobody. I like the principle, but it's a little slow when playing alone.
Maybe the tutorial is a little long, but when you start to play, that's addictive and more you play, more you understand the concepts. Congratulations for having created a solid card game.
Very nice entry ! Well polished, good learning curve.
Very nice art ! Congratulation, this is an awesome entry.
Except for the jump which feels a little strange, this is a fun game, too bad I didn't had people around to play with.
I didn't managed to pass the third level, very hard but the concept is fun ! Would be great with a more easy way to evade shots.
Too bad there is no ending, the concept is cool and bees universe is original.
Nice take on the theme. That's a good entry, even if it lacks some little polishing.
Controls are sometimes hazardous and there is some bad physics bugs, but not bad enough to ruin the game. Nice entry and I hope you'll participate to the next LDJAM !
That's a good minimalist strategy game. At first, I tried to play without key-shortcut, it's pretty hard, but the E/Q really help !
Good job on music and polishing ! Would be very great with a scoring system.
edit: next time, please think about alternative keyboards (I have an AZERTY) ;-)
I really enjoyed playing this game. Some little observations : * The lightning sound is far too loud compared to the music (maybe it's a browser thing ?) * I found the game is a little too easy. (that's still better than too hard) * The game finish too early (I won just after unlocking the lab so I didn't really enjoyed the new mechanism) * I belived the lightning had a gameplay role so I made some surge protector very early. I understood their role only at the end, with the lab.
Congratulations for your entry ! It's very cool you had time to add a tutorial, it helps greatly to get in it !
Wow, special congrats for music and graphisms.
Oh, god, did you played to Mini Train (English name seems to be "Train Town") ? It's an old game (pre-2000) a little like yours. (Very hard to find nowadays) I liked yours, very impressive. The only problem I had is the control of the train that wasn't very ergonomic, but still ok. Congratulations ! edit: here is a video of the game I'm talking : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNpZIm04ums
Nice gameplay enhancement with the choice between weapons and shield regeneration. The realisation is good as well with beautiful graphisms and cool music. The only little thing I found is that the difficulty curve is a little steep.
Next time, don't forget to use Git ;-), you would have been able to revert your changes or at least see the changes you did since the last time it worked.
You've beautiful graphisms and a very good sound design. At first I was about to complain about game unplayable on azerty keyboard, but arrows keys are usable, so perfect ;-).
Very fun and polished tower defense. At first, I didn't understood how to build reflector / amplifier but I found the multiple right click trick.
That's a cool game, as others, I would say that the cleaning mechanic has an balancing issue (At first, you spend nearly all your time cleaning stuff). Maybe it would be nicer if chicken produce less waste and the cleaning process is done by maintaining the space key (and waiting more if there is more waste on the case). ps: I'm happy to see users of Krita, and what you did with it is very beautiful !
Edit: Oups, my message was posted twice ... Sorry !
Hey everyone ! Thank you very much for your feedbacks ! As I see, you all had problems with the oil price, to be honest, I didn't spend enough time to equilibrate it correctly. At first, it was too easy (the price was staying very high and it was useless to store oil), but after some tweaking, it was too hard.
I started to work on a new game, based on the same concept but with some enhancement like a map to place buildings. I'll try to have a better oil price ;-).
Capture d'écran de 2017-12-28 21-45-07.png
I hope you are happy with the 40th LD edition, see you next time !
Speed up the belt to have a pile of sushi on floor to prepare commands : Waste : 2/10 Hygiene : 1/10 Fun: 10/10
Note, for the next Ludum, please think about azerty keyboards ;-).
That's a fun game ! It would have been better with some music and sound to enhance the mood and the stress :). If you don't have time to do it in LudumDare, you can use sites like https://pernyblom.github.io/abundant-music/index.html . This site generate a music and with some practice you can quickly generate a music that's fit to your game.
The game is very pretty ! Too bad you didn't had time to add more mechanics and choice for player. Congrats and if you continue to work on it, don't forget to add some sounds and musics to enhance the art in the game and enhance the mood :).
I would be curious to know what's your master thesis subject (is this gamedev related or a total different field like urbanism or geography ?). Congratulations for your submission. Now, I guess the priority is to make an happy ending :). Ps: I think you should edit your description to say it's very important to build an house and a plant very quickly when the game start. I lost few times before figure out how to play a normal game.
That's an interesting way to innovate in the clicker game type. There is something I found strange, the graphics when I played are not the same in your screenshots (on Itch.io, I have graphisms in gray-level and the bank is a sprite where it's written "Bank").
That's a really cool game (and I can't agree more about the political message behind it). The only little issue I saw in the game is that it's sometimes hard to know when you can start the medication process (especially when you failed a treatement and you want to try again).
Fun game ! I had to loose a few times to fully understand the concept and after that, I loved the theme use !
Nice, I always like games with boats driving. Arts are really good (music + minimalist sprites).I was a little confused at first, but after like two or three play, I understood the mechanics (thanks to the help).
That's a cool interactive story with great mood.
Hi @marsepstein, thanks for your feedback ! You can move the camera by right click and moving the mouse. I added it in the description of the game. It totally lacks a little tutorial to explain that kind of stuff :).
@huvaakoodia Thank you very much for your feedback, it's very valuable ! I quickly changed the call to the update of waterpump to be called only every seconds, I hope this gonna fix the problem (it seems there is other bottlenecks but this one was very annoying !).
Haha, I liked it ! That's a very interesting puzzle game.
Hello from Caen !
I scored 581074. Nice game ! The mood made by the graphics and the sounds (I hope less people are vomiting in the Hellfest than in this game ;-) ) is awesome. You found a very good difficulty curve (not too much people to discover the game, then plenty of people everywhere). Congratulation for your entry !
Happy to see people using Phaser by the way. And you made me discover BeepBox, it seems cool !
Good entry ! It's a little hard (A fast paced shooter where you can't really miss your target, that's need some training !). The audio goes very well with the minimalist graphisms.
The game is very hard to finish, but the mood is excellent ! Maybe you should precise in the description that the door opens after a while (I took some time before understand it). Congratulation for the entry !
When I was young, one of the part I loved the most in Diablo was the inventory management. This game is the next level ! I think it's a very interesting idea to do an RPG only focused on crafting and inventory handling.
It takes some time to understand all mechanics, but after that, it's totally fun !
It can be hard sometimes, depending where the boxes are dropped, but it's fun. I really like how you made a very innovative (and fun) gameplay based on tetris concepts.
The artistic direction is very good ! The mood created with the graphics and the music is great. The game explain itself with the dialog boxes and the feedbacks to the player (thanks to the sounds). I think there is a small problem on the difficulty curve. As I played, I feel that the game is very hard if you don't activate the lever from the beginning, and too easy if you do.
Congratulations !
Note: I didn't succeed to play on Firefox 61 (on Linux), it says I don't support WebGL (which is very strange). But It worked on Chromium so it's fine.
That's a cool game but it seems you disabled the "graphics" category for voting, too bad, because it greatly participate to make the mood of the game (which is very well).
Original idea, I like it ! I think you should polish it a little and put it on a webgame platform focusing young audience, it would done a fun game to learn stuff (mouse handeling, space representation, ... it has plenty of educational qualities without being boring). Congratulations !
You did the most difficult part : find very interesting mechanics for a puzzle game. Each level comes with an all-new mechanic to play with. It may be cool if you continue to work on it and post it on web game portal (Kongregate, Newgrounds, ...). Congratulation for your entry !
It's really effective even if graphisms are very minimalist ! The game is well balanced : not too easy and not too hard. Congratulation for your first Ludum, I hope you'll be there to the next one !
Tips for other, on web verison, go in fullscreen, else you get the interface slightly cut. I took some time to get used to controls, but after some try it get easier. Making a 3D game in Compo is a big challenge, congratulations ! For the next time, maybe try to add a scoring system displayed on screen, it's not that complicated to implement but it can improve the user experience !
@zimny11 Hello, thanks for your feedback and congratulations for your well organized base ! We made an update to fix the pathfinding issue where some monsters can be blocked so the level can't finish.
This game is a perfect execution in every aspect. The mechanics are very clever and each level comes with a new interesting challenge. The graphics, sounds and story creates a mood which create attachment to characters.
The little point of enhancement I can see is to reduce slightly the sensibility of the death zone, I think at the level with two platforms and a slope at the right, the purple death zone on the bottom of the platforms will instant kill the green player if it touch the side (left or right) of a platform, so the zone kills even if you touch it at 90°.
You can imagine that if this is the only flaw I see, this is a very good entry ;-) Congratulations !
Hello ! Congratulations for your entry, the game is very cool ! I liked the visuals and the mood that made me think about submarine films (the fact you call a sonar more often when there is something that attack for example).
I had some issue to understand how the contact database works, as I saw "1m", I believed this was a distance, I had to read the page description to better understand, and I think there is a bug as 5 and 32 gives no results (but I quickly understood it was not a kind small fish ^^)
I had to check comments here to understand what to do at the end. But I successfully finished game, thank you very much for the checkpoint when you die ;-).
When I was young, I wanted to be trader, but the careers advisor said this will not be possible with my physical education grades. He was right : I wasn't able to throw a ball correctly.
The take on the theme is very fun, the audio is well done and is a good match with the game mood ! I think there is some enhancement to do on the mechanics of ball throwing (I found that you can still control the ball after the first throw, I think you can elaborate that, before founding that, I had a ball stuck between the wall and the goal).
Congratulations for your entry !
Hey, nice to see a fellow Phaser developer (I didn't used Phaser for this Jam but I use it regularly). This game immediately catch my attention as I'm a big fan of tycoon games and public transportation.
I really liked the map view, it's all we need for a game like this ! The gameplay mechanics are simple and is nearly a clicker, I guess you had plenty of ideas you didn't had time to implement because the core development has been probably long to develop !
Tips for the next Ludum, I found that making a main menu, even a quick one (one color screen, the game title and a button to play) is cheap to do and enhance the player experience as you don't feel like catapulted in the game.
Congratulations for your entry !
This is a great entry, I like the pixel art style and the mood in general. I would have been happy to play more if it was more longer, but I guess that creating those art and music with this level of quality take time ! I was a little disappointed at first when I go in the corridor, it don't show the view in front of the room you just left, so I was a little lost, but after some times, it was no more an issue. Congratulations for this entry !
I liked the archeologist theme and the isometric view ! The gameplay idea is interesting, it became a little boring at a certain point because my artifact stack was growing and I wasn't quick enough to reveal them ! I would have been happy with upgrades to speed up this ;-).
Congratulation for your compo entry, it's a good one !
This is a flawless realisation ! The mood is composed with beautiful graphisms, awesome soundtrack, and a very good story ! Usually I like point and click, but they are too hard, this one is easy enough to tell a story in a fluid way without being too easy, I really liked the twist (the two twist I could say). Special mention to the embedded credits !
Awesome ! I succeed to go under 60s (59.43s). But I don't understand why soda is toxic for the plant, it got electrolytes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIZ9YuPm_Ls . Seriously, the game is very solid, updates are interesting and keep player engaged. Every aspect of the game is well polished (save progress, UI to buy update, end of level animation, ...).
Hello ! That's amazing, an NDS game in a Ludum ! I don't have a flash cart, I have a new 3DS and I usually launch NDS games with TwilightMenu++, but I have a black screen with your rom :( (Unfortunately this can happend on some games, the compatibility is not 100%). But if by miracle you know some clues to check to make it work, I will be very interested ! Tomorrow I'll try to change some settings and check if this solve the problem, but not sure where to start.
My sister has a DS with a linker somewhere, I will see if I can borrow it next time I see here.
That's a fun concept ! I made 80 years and two month but I cheated : I have a tactile screen on my laptop. It was more fun on my second run with tactile than with a mouse because I tried to do stuff in parallel. So I came to conclusion that it would be wonderful to have a game like this on tablet.
Wow, those barrier will never hol*PLOUF* Nice entry ! I like the driving feeling and the engine noise depending on the speed. I had difficult to use the hand brake.
Really fun one ! This is a very good concept, and the game balance is very good as it starts slowly and easy to go to crazy rhythm. Also, technically, it's neat to see a game that load instantly. Sound effects would have been awesome, but of course, it needs time. This is clearly a good game to do an october challenge with it ;-).
WTF, I'm the first to note this gem ??? I followed you while scrolling in the during the jam because you posted a screenshot that appealed me, and boy, what a wonderful game ! Best entry I saw in this ludum, but I have to admit that's totally my kind of games.
It was a pleasure to play, the game is correctly balanced (which is very hard for this type of game in a jam). The game concept is perfect, the 10seconds trick is perfectly integrated in the game play and you understand quickly the game thanks to a first level with near no enemies (at first I believed it was a bug that there was laser tower with no enemies).
10:26s for the last level, I'm pretty happy :).
Congratulations for this entry and I hope you'll continue to develop this game, because I really enjoyed it.
Good entry ! I tried multiple times but I didn't succeed to win, but I think I was near. It would have been wonderful with a score indicator ! I had a small offset on y axis between my mouse and the piece I was dragging, but that's not a major issue as we see the piece moving. It could be cool if we could rotate pieces. But as always, I guess the time was the limitation, especially if you tried to implement multiplayer ! Congratulations for this cool and relaxing puzzle game.
Just discover Aeons, interesting ! The game is very good, especially the level design, I like the fact you must die to pass some levels, it adds flavor to gameplay !
I took some times to see that the stuff hapening is displayed at the top right corner, but after that I found that it's a very cool take on the theme ! My highscore is 169.
Very clever game mechanic, with an extremely well polished realization, congratulations !
I had a minor issue while playing with an azerty keyboard, the period key didn't work (we have to hold shift to make a period, I think this is the issue). Also, at first I had issue to understand what happens when time paradox occurs (illegal move situation), I saw afterwards the message at the bottom, maybe you could make it more visible ?
Anyway, it's a wonderful entry, congratulations again !
It was hard to finish ! I find very interesting the concept of the level that restart but your progress stays, so you have to reuse some blocks and think about which one is the best to activate multiple switches in the narrow time frame. I think the game is a little too hard, the controls are pretty hard and leave no room for a mistake. For the next Ludum, don't forget to support Azerty keyboard ;-) Congratulations for your entry.
I really liked the take on Tower defense where you get money from selling successful towers, it's fun ! The mood was really good with the different graphics / music for each season. The interface confused me a little sometimes, but I had fun finishing the game ! Congratulations for your entry !
Yeay, victory ! That's a very interesting game, and it's incredible how the game is deep with only 3 spell you can place. The end game was a little long, because of all animations, and sometime I had issue to understand the role of some forest stuff (For example the red vital charm gave me the same description as the normal vital charm). I enjoyed a lot to play, the mood was really cool with the sounds and the music. Congratulations for this entry !
Nice to see another management game ! I liked it. I saw on your repo you used Phaser and an overlay with Svelete to make the UI, congratulations, it's totally invisible and well themed !
Fun experience, I like the concept of mechanics telling a story, and playing with codes (hearts that become an obstacle for example). Very good entry, congratulations !
Very good entry. The sounds effects are very satisfying :). The regular upgrades make us feel progression, that's very cool. Fun to see a concept like Vampire survivor in space !
Nice pixel art style, I liked the story and the little twist, congratulation for your entry !
Haha, well done ! The idea is very great.
Nice entry, I had fun playing, mechanics are dynamic and graphics are very beautiful ! I tried to play with my gamepad but only the left stick was working, not sure why, maybe because it's a xbox 360 gamepad ? Congratulations !
Fun entry ! I like the strategic aspect of the slow movement (and it's pretty fun to see ^^), where you have to choose between securing multiple crops surroundings or try to save a life by going at the other side of the map for just one crop. There is a good feeling of progression. Maybe you could have made the auto fire like in Vampire Survivor, as I was always firing stuff. Congratulations !
Very beautiful esthetic, that go well with the music ! It's very chill and soothing. Congratulations for this entry !
Your takes on Tower Defense is very interesting, the fact you choose the emplacement on stuff to defend (and you can buy it like another plant) and the "advantage / disadvantage" pair you have to choose at the end of a game adds to the variety of strategy the player can have ! I spotted some minor bugs: coins that appears on the border of the screen or that you can't get without moving because there is a transparent UI element, and sometimes I was wondering if the bonus I choosed was really in activity, but I had no serious bugs. Congratulation for your entry !
780 on easy mode, fun little game, I like the addition of a kitchen screen to cook stuff, it could be awesome to get bonus with some specific dishes (more movement speed, multi crossbow shot, ...) but it's always hard with the little time of a gamejam ! Congratulations for your first LudumDare entry !
I will start with the positive: there is some car I didn't touch ^^.
I got 214 points the second run.
This is a very fun game, graphisms are pretty cute, that's crazy what it's possible to do with cubes ! The polishing in the game is good, fixed camera view work pretty well (I forgot to activate the mouse lock before my 3rd run, but I took too much confidence so I made a terrible score) and I liked the detail of the trash lid that show if you have already empty the can. I got some minor bugs in scoring count but it didn't bother me during the play.
And I forgot, you handled AZERTY keyboard that's cool :).
I think you should put the sound in opt-out instead of opt-in, at first I belived there was a bug and people could think there is no sound.
Congratulations for the entry !
This is fun, and well balanced (sound, graphical effects, speed, ...). It would be great to have a health system so you don't loose as soon as you hit a wall ! Congratulations for your entry.
I like management game, so I was happy to play it ! I took a long time to understand, first, the game, and then, how to get the manual. If someone look for it, it's in the Download section of the Itch.io page (I looked in the comments but it seemed logical for everyone, I was expecting a link or something like that).
It's nice you spend time to make a good manual like when I was young ^^. Finding the manual unlocked me to start earning money in the game. I loved the Return of the Obra Dinn so I know 1-bit graphics can be nice, and you did a good job with that !
It would have been nice with an ending, a money threshold for example. The mechanics are simple (once you found the manual) and good. Congratulation for your entry !
I like the theme take. It's fun to play and graphics are very neat and clean ! It's harder and uglier to play with the integrated Ludum player as the resolution make things very small and there is no full screen button. Good idea to put files on top of the folder it goes, it helps a lot to understand how the game works.
Capture d’écran du 2023-10-06 22-35-52.png Very nice entry ! It took me some time to understand the concept of water rising, and to figure out how to use buildings. It's interesting because it's really rare a management where you can loose everything even when you're mega-rich. The controls and camera are more than correct, you could have put the mode "construct multiple building" by default without shift key (fortunately there was the shift key !)
Yeay nailed it ! Ok, I have to confess, I watched the playthrough to get an indice on exp 9. You found a very very good concept and you successfully created interesting variations. The realisation is well executed, the little sounds and animation make the game feel pleasant to play. Congratulations for your entry !
The game lacks a little in polish but the concept is very interesting, this is a very good and original idea. I see this is your first entry, congratulations ! Little tip for the next one, try to do a quickly done main menu so testers are not immediately in the game, I feel it adds a better feeling. And nice to see someone doing Haxe \o/
Very fun game, plenty of humour everywhere. Don't forgot to play each difficulty level ! (You will probably survive even in insane mode). It's hard to balance a physic game, but you manage to play with all physical properties to make fun reactions (stuff very heavy, very bouncy), congratulations for your entry !
I really love the concept. The graphics are nice, sound effects are a little too high, music is cool. The interface is easy to understand, and works well. I had a bug, I regulary have a correctly filled request counted as not validated, I did't get why. Congrats for your entry, it's very good !
Nice game ! Graphics are neat and clean, and the concept is well implemented. At first I belived you can throw away jam can by sending them in the top right corner, but it seems not. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the 5th color, I guessed I need to send it in the container with the most jam in it. It could be an interesting variation if this 5th color arrive when you can complete a box. Congratulations for your entry !
I don't have a Playstation, but I still wanted to play on a Sony device. 20241025_222715.jpg
That's awesome to see a playsation game in Ludum, lose screen is rough but the game is very fun, it remains me Super Hexagon, a catchy music, you need good reflexes and you lose / retry all the time. The game is well design so we want to retry in loop.
Congratulations for your entry !
@ale I had the same issue, I spend a lot of time installing RetroArch on my Vita, and it worked well (except some strange noise instead of the nice music at the begining of the stages).
It took some times to understand what happend, I tried the good sequences but nothing happend and ... I understood I have to wait 0.5-1seconds for the action happening. Then I could play, and it was fun ! I love the sound effect made with the mouse, and the controls are innovative. And in bonus there is an integrated a leader board ! Congratulations for your entry !
It's fun, it remembers the .io games, when you are a small ant trying to do stuff and there is a GIANT ant as big as the screen with weapons aiming at you. Gun fight are a little too punitive as you can be shot by ants outside the screen. It's a fun game, congratulations !
That's cozy ! I didn't found a victory condition, but it's relaxing to see all tiny people living its life. I tried the post jam version to see what you had in mind but didn't had time to implement, it's interesting ! I really like the pixel art and all the little animations / effects, nice polish ! Congratulations for your entry !
I made a 10 in high score ! 20241024_173254.jpg
That's awesome you did this for the NES ! I unfortunately don't have one but I still have tried on a Nintendo console thanks to the virtual console (Twilight menu to be honest ^^). The game is impressive technically annnnnd, also very good ! I like the graphics and the music, there is little animations, sound effects, you made an high score handle, there is a menu screen, the game is well polished ! I saw that we lose immediately when an error happens, even if there is a "mistakes" counter on the top right, that would have be a cool feature but I guess you didn't had enough time to do everything. Congratulations for this entry !
I just tried on the web emulator and, yes, indeed it was an emulator bug ! Outside this, it was perfectly playable !
Helo, First I'm very happy to find a game available on Android, it's an unusual platform so I tried it on my phone.
The game is great, I love the art style and the polished animation. It's a little too easy, it would have be cool having a limited time to make the best score ! Congratulations for this entry !
Nice, Even after some times, I still reflex shoot target that was clearly heart or energy. It adds an interesting mechanic.
It's a very good puzzle game, there is a good progression in the gameplay mechanics with regular addition of new concept. I liked the graphics, the audio mood was good but I was a little annoyed by the movement sound after a while ^^. Congratulations for your entry.
Nice game ! I like the take on the theme and the execution is great, good art with beautiful graphisms and cool audio. Unfortunately, I had the same freeze at the stage 4 than other people in the comments. Music continue, but all screen was freezed (I use Firefox, last version). It's strange, it's the second time this evening I have a freeze with a Godot game in HTML5. Don't hesitate to fix it if you can find the bug, the rules allow it. The game became a little too easy with enough cyanobacteria, maybe it could have more constraints on the placement.
Bug or not, in any case, it's easy to see this is an awesome entry, congratulations !
Very good entry, congratulations ! I had a bug (that's the concept of the game) like an infinite loop a little before the end (in the fork), the game was not responding. I restarted it and I could play to the end without any issue (it was on the last Firefox).
The multiple mechanics you made with the concept (and their progressive introduction) are very interesting, the art is well polished and the animations are cool !
You can fix a breaking bug after the end of the competition, just say it in the game description :)
That's a cute game, I finished my formation of best microbe matcher in the world. I like the little animations when you move a microbe. I didn't understood all the logic behind pairing, but it's really satisfying to get everyone fully happy ! Congratulations for your entry.
Hello, nice to see an exotic platform. Unfortunately I don't have a Playdate but I used your link to the Playdate simulator and it worked ! That's not as good as having the console in the hands, but at least I can try it. I liked the graphics and the exploitation of lightning in assets with 1bit graphics. I had to restart multiple times the game to understand what I have to do to have a better ending, with the emulator I didn't had the reflex to "turn the handle" but after some tries, I did it and it was satisfying. Congratulations for your entry, I hope you will have enough vote ! Note: you should put the instructions for the Playdate simulator in the game description and if you vote for a lot of games I think you can have a rating !
[Sorry, a double post happens as I clicked too much on the publish button]
Nice ! Another game with bees. I liked it, my score is 00:12:43. It was satisfying to see and cool that you made an animation at the beginning and at the end, I didn't expected an idle game with a story !
It was fun, I became the biggest creature at my third try. I liked the .io game vibe. Congratulation for your entry !
Hello, I tried the game but I only succeed at creating "fog" around me by double taping. How to spawn creature that fight ?
I took some time to understand but after winning my first game I understood it's a moba-like. It's a great idea having a moba-like in 2d. The graphics are cute (kudo to the main character on its stapler). Congratulations for your entry ! Note: the retry don't work very well, you keep your ink and you can't buy stuff anymore.
197.77, I had a few tries before to understand how the scoring works. It's fun !
Fun to see a Flash game developped in 2024 :) (ruffle works really great) That was quick to play, the arts are rough but good and remember the flash era. Congratulations for your entry !
Nice take on the theme, I saw one of your post this week end during a break and I liked the concept. Now I tried it and ... I also like the realisation ! Graphics are nice, sound effects do a great job to give feedback and mood.
It's a short experience, but a very cool one ! Congratulations !
Interesting, I'll not say anything except I like the concept ! Congratulations for this entry !
Very good puzzle game. Some level was pretty hard (the tutorial is one of them because I didn't understood you can move the fishes ^^), everything is very well polished: the music, graphics, level design, quality of life (like restart and undo buttons).
I saw a bug, if a fish is on the spot where all fishes are gathering, the success screen don't appear ! I just had to cancel the move and move the fish somewhere else.
Congratulations !
Nice entry ! The game is very fun, the "feeling" of the controls is awesome, it's quick and dynamic, the graphics and audio are pretty and all is nicely polished. The only downside is that it was too short, we want more !
Congratulations for your entry ! (and I saw you did the game with the snail I also liked a lot in the last Ludum).
That was very cool, the enigmas was interesting but to be honest, I had to ask someone about the safe one, especially the minus operations. She wrote me the explanation, I would never guess that ! Having made a 3D game for the gameboy during the jam is very awesome.
ldjamgb2.jpg (last picture I take before the game reset at the end ^^) Congratulations for this entry ! That's a very cool game.
Nice entry ! I liked it. The core gameplay is very well polished : upgrades, meta-upgrades, two gameplay phase, that's very cool ! (I just checked, the progress are saved, that's cool if I want to play again :) )
I really enjoyed playing, congratulations for your entry.
I finally succeed ! I played on the nearest console I have from a gameboy. ldjamgb.jpg I had to play a long time before understand, but thanks to the comment of @marudziik and my many tries, I finally understood how to win ! I liked the concept, and the music is very cool ! Congratulations for this game boy entry, that's super cool !
Thanks to @yibirabbit007 I maxed out my sound and discover there is a music ! A nice one, that's sad, I almost missed it completely ! I like the idea, it would have been cool to have some objectives. Congratulations for your entry, I guess it was hard to organize in a team this big !
@f1krazy @vikfx @jimbly Hello, thank you for your review and the bug report, it helped me to find the issue ! I have made a quick fix to avoid being locked in the second level !
During the jam, scrolling on the main page I saw a screenshot of your game and I subscribed to play to it (I like trains !) The game is very interesting, I like the pixel art graphics and the general mood. As said before, the rail selection is pretty harsh, I wish having a key to switch each rail type. Or maybe something automatic to lay rails with the mouse "in continue", but it would have mean more work. I'm very happy to see someone using Rust :), Congratulations for your entry !
Nice game, physics is well handled: we have to be carefull about the velocity of our hook and the direction of the objects taken to not lose them, I had fun !
My favorite is the level 9 ! That's very polished, sound and pixel art are very well ! I'm currently stuck in the last level but all the previous levels was intuitive and not too hard to solve. Congratulations for this game !
Capture d’écran du 2025-10-08 23-20-58.png I managed to do 35 ! I liked it ! You managed to draw a lot of stuff during the week end, that's impressive ! And I was surprised that the levels were randomized (in a logical way, the plane stay in the sky, ...) giving a little re playability ! It took me few seconds to understand, and after that, I was hooked by the game ! I think there is a bug, when I click on an object to find it, the other objects just around disappeared too. Congratulations for your entry !
You made a very solid gameplay concept ! The game have very unique visuals and the music is pretty cool. Congratulations !
Yeay ! Capture d’écran du 2025-10-06 12-30-02.png
It was very fun to play, the game loop is catchy, timings are good, graphism is well polished and music was lively.
I understood how the water fountain works only at the very end and I'm still not sure if producing wood could be a good strategy to get money, and I didn't understood what the check list to do each day was for until the victory screen ! Nice game !
It was fun ! I had issue for the first cup, I have been straight forward to the right and didn't understood what to do. I restarted the game and found the bot giving cup to place ! I finished the game, the ending is fun :) Congratulations for this entry !
The game visuals are well done ! I'm not sure if there is an ending condition in the game ?
It's very hard to do a game like this during a Ludum, so congratulations !
Hello ! You should remove the game from the LudumDare embeded because it's cropped, I had some time before understanding there is some part missing.
It's like "British Museum: the game" ! I guess you didn't had time to implement all stuff you, but the preview of your museum at the bottom is very interesting, you feel a progression having more and more people coming !
Just played with a friend, we took a play to understand how it works, and it's a very fun game :). My opponent said that it would have been cool if icons and text were written to his side (we played on a phone).
That's a fun game ! It took a little time to figure out how to get meat, but when I understood, I liked the concept !
Awesome, that's a very good usage of NN in JS. And it works perfectly (for me) and gives very fun game moments (I played with my head).
There is some bug on fishing (I had one where the progress bar was full but I could'nt do anything and another where the indicator of down bar continue to go left and right but I couldn't do anything). The concept is fun, the navigation part is well done. The fishing part would need a little polish (Hard to do in only this limited time ;-) ). Note, I think that some sounds effects / a music would have greatly enhanced the game.
Hi, I would like to test the game, but as you say (and others), the zombies don't cross the road (it seems like a chicken joke). The rule of LudumDare say that you can modify your game after the end of the event if it's to fix major bugs. If you have time, it could be great if you can fix the bug ! The art (sound and graphisms) is awesome and it seems you used Godot, so I really want to play to your game ;-). I'll come back in few days.
Congrats for the bugfixes :) So I played, the art is very good (especially graphisms). I had some issue to find out a good strategy for using the cones. At first, I didn't liked the lag of the character movement, but after some game time, it adds a fun difficulty.
A game about love and not about war, that's cool :) I like the drawings art. It took me some time to understand what the earth part was about.
Art is very cool and game is pretty well polished. The gameplay can be a little frustrating sometimes (it needs some errors to correctly understand the mechanics). It would have been very cool if the score was displayed at the end.
