Great game overall! My only complaint is that it seems to lag out after a few minutes of playing on my system. I'm not at all familiar with the engine you used to make this, but maybe there are some memory leaks or something?
I can't expect you to test on every system though, it's a game jam. Very fun game!
Great game! You nailed the controls and handling for a 48 hour game. My only suggestion is to add a reset button (unless I missed one) because my terrible driving got me stuck after a few pallets :)
Very relaxing to play (the game and the music!)
I'm with @harmadillo, I could see a challenging sped-up version of this being fun too!
Good work, it's very fun! A simple scoring system and victory condition are all that's needed imo.
Cool little game (literally!) Some of the levels are actually surprisingly difficult!
What compiler flags did you use for release - did you try using the /O1 optimization flag to reduce space even further?
Great pacing of the puzzles, and nice work with the audio!
I was able to steal the entire sofa without getting caught. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough space to keep it though. 11/10!
Really fun! All the enemies felt a bit on the easy side, except for the large ones. Also, I feel like target priority for the soldiers and archers could be improved - they wouldn't always attack the most important threats first.
Overall this felt fantastically polished.
Very fun! Difficulty feels good - haven't gone 5 minutes yet, but I've gotten close. Great art + mood too!
Cool! It's all fun and games until the IRS shows up.
Also, great job with leveling the audio in a narrative driven game. Audio leveling/mastering is one of those things that you don't notice that much unless it's messed up, but you nailed it!
Fun! I can't get enough of the 8 bit sounds, great work!
This is excellent - the art is stellar, and it's a very polished game for a game jam. Great work!
Only suggestion would be to make it clear whether each person wants a delivery, or has another item for me to deliver. But maybe leaving it ambiguous was intentional.
It took me a few tries to figure it out, but once I got a feel for how the matoms interacted, it was super fun! Great concept!!
Great game! Having a way to hit it less hard would make it easier, but I get that a traditional mini golf game probably isn't what you were going for. Cool way of showing where the ball will bounce ahead of time, too :)
Nice little game! I like the light getting dimmer over time, it adds a nice touch to the difficulty!
Great work, the game felt like a good difficulty. Hard, but never impossible. The solution to the last level is very funny!
Thanks for the feedback everyone! I uploaded my game to itch.io too, if you want to play an HTML5 version of it, you can here: https://ralian.itch.io/pactory
The itch.io version I uploaded today is identical to the one I uploaded here yesterday, but if you are rating the game, stick to the compo rules and run the version I uploaded here yesterday.
@txomin Happy to have angered you! @alec Thanks, I am quite proud of how the grabbing physics turned out, since I scripted all that myself! Some objects are jankier than others, I think scaled objects (esp. cows) are handled poorly @woona I like your strategy, but I will never hire you to move anything of mine!!!
Fun little puzzles and a non-zero amount of social commentary? Awesome!
I like the part where you burn down someone's house to clear space for a mini-mall.
