Fits the theme great, loved the art and music as well. I think you could make the inventory items that the people want delivered a bit more obvious than they are now

Nice ! I really like the funny and innovative shapes compared to the classic object shapes in inventories. GG :D
Well done for all the hand-drawn assets :o
Had fun playing I wish the npcs were a tad bit closer but it was fun.
This is excellent - the art is stellar, and it's a very polished game for a game jam. Great work!
Only suggestion would be to make it clear whether each person wants a delivery, or has another item for me to deliver. But maybe leaving it ambiguous was intentional.
- The art was definitely the highlight for me! I like how quirky the items are. - The movement side of the game felt like it could've just been swapped out for a timer, since all it really represented in practice was holding a button down until you reach the destination. I'd suggest either swap the WSAD movement out for a simple timer (or have the player just zip to their destination, counting the time down accordingly), or have some movement challenges. - Giving the player a reason to interact with the inventory tetris while you walk, somehow, would help make the game feel less like waiting a while between little bursts of inventory management between missions. - I liked the mood & the player character is great! Would be interested to see how the character could help support the inventory tetris game mechanics, aside from having matching items.
Lovely stuff :)
Thank you all for your feedback! I am so glad you like my art and our game <3
@deruitda Do you mean that the orange highlight is too subtle, or that you can't tell who wants what? If I had more time, I would consider drawing tiny versions of all the items to put in the arrows which could help the second issue.
@falestress Thank you! I am glad you enjoy my designs <3
@ascenial Thank you! We made the kitty a bit faster to decrease the pain of traveling. I hope this makes the game more pleasant for you too <3
@ralian Thank you so much! The quest givers have orange indicators and the item receivers have blue indicators. I hope this helps.
@robbobin So much feedback, wow! Thanks! * I am glad you like my art <3 * Yeah, we have speed up the kitty to make the running part of the game a bit speedier. * Actually, you can still interact with it while you travel, so you can use the travel time to rearrange your inventory. * Yes, in the future, it'd be great if the kitty could maybe pick up improvements for the inventory. We were also considering allowing the kitty to toss her pet to make a bit more room at the cost of not being able to see. But in the end, we decided against it.
This was very cute. I really enjoyed delivering as a cat. Also the designs of the items look very nice!
I think the game is real neat, love the idea of the inventory tetris stuff. I felt like the theme might have suffered a tad, never felt like I was strapped for space in the inventory. but I might be missing some mechanic or something. Lovely art also! Especially the item art, real nice! lovely entry have a good one!
Well done with the theme, the game was really challenging and overall - great puzzle! Also, cute cat :33
Aesthetically it is pleasant, the music is fitting and it controls well, but I personally have 2 problems: -Everything is too far away, moving is straight forward, and yet it takes most of the time. -Even if I know the direction of the delivery, I have no sense of distance (like a distance meter under the icon), which makes it really hard to make decisions like taking a bunch of requests or just delivering the one I have.
ITS REAPING TIME
OMG. I absolutelly loved this game! The art, the mechanisms and the music make such a good atmosphere for the game! Nice Job!
This game was a great fit for the theme. The art is really cute and alongside the music sets the perfect mood. I felt that things were a little too spread out in the game world and walking between the people was starting to become tedious. Other than that a brilliant game!
