Plan It Out! by Decipator 2023-10-08T04:05:43Z

This was a fun little game. Nice and simple, don't have to think to hard - a really enjoyable experience. Well done!

Tiny Rogue Rumble by juxipolo 2023-10-10T11:25:19Z

This was a lot of fun and there were a lot of options to choose from. The different abilities and items makes each combination to feel unique. The game seems pretty balanced, which is really impressive given the scope and time frame. The art was amazing, and the sounds were good but a bit loud. Besides that, it was a really fun game!

Rabbit Hole Run: Don't Lose Your Head! by ryusui 2023-10-08T03:30:41Z

This was really enjoyable. The art style is awesome and I particularly loved the playing cards as the different platforms. The platforming controls were smooth, although I felt like it was a required a bit too much accuracy at some points. Not sure if you added coyote time, but if you did, extending the duration just a little more would go a long way!

There's a really tight jump near the start of the second headless section, which could be moved to 3 collapsible platforms (just because if you missed you were always going to die). And there were a few points in the headless sections where after I died I would start running the wrong direction. But I'm honestly nit-picking - this was a fun game and I would love to see some more levels!

Tiny Island by ghpxi 2023-10-12T11:52:57Z

This was a great little game. The art was great and I enjoyed the music. The controls were simple and easy to pick up too. I wish the cards were less random, I didn't get a house for over 10 rounds and almost lost on my first go for no reason. A little hover over on the stats and what they all do would help clear up confusion on what each icon is. But overall, this was a charming game and I would play again!

Riveting by N4tticus 2023-10-02T06:57:17Z

It's quite impressive what you were able to achieve with this. The physics system is well designed, and acts how you would expect it to - despite my best efforts to defy physics :P.

It's a little overwhelming at times with all of the options/customisation - some descriptions and/or some tool tips would go a long way in helping players ease into it a bit more, and help them get the most out of the game.

Overall, the core features are really impressive, and a few UI updates would make this a solid little game. Great work!

High Leaf Celestial by dxk2294 2023-10-08T03:12:43Z

This was a really fun game and very impressive for the time frame. The characters all felt really unique and played quite well. Although, the movement, especially for the druid, was quite slow - maybe add some teleporters, or a dash ability at the expense of attacking or something like that. I also loved the art style, it was really nice and felt really cohesive together! Awesome job, definitely one of my favourites so far.

Societies Stranding by UnitedFailures 2023-10-11T03:47:14Z

I unfortunately had a hard time playing the original game. I grabbed a pod at the start and then it vanished and I couldn't find any other pods after that. It's really hard to navigate the game because there are no landmarks and the planets move. As mentioned, the addition of a mini-map would've solved a lot of these issues, but I also feel like you could probably zoom the camera out a bit as well. I also found the edge of the world (which you can leave), so that should have a bounding box.

But I really liked the idea of the game, and where you were trying to take it. The ship movement was smooth and quite easy to control. And the music and sound effects were spot on. The post-jam version fixes a lot of these issues, and makes it far more playable - so I'm grateful for that. Overall a good effort!

Cosmic Collapse by LaneDavis 2023-10-03T01:53:36Z

Really fun game! I've played so many rounds it isn't funny - still haven't managed to beat it yet, but will definitely return to this one. You've got a good variety of abilities, and their personalities are great and distinct. Was also not expecting a full cinematic with voice overs - which was a really nice touch.

My only issue with it is that the waves of enemies/meteors are inconsistent and can have really high difficulty spikes. I went from almost beating it one round to losing in less than a minute in the next, just because a massive meteor can out of nowhere and took a third of my health. It also makes it challenging to get the worm hole up since your focus tends to be on solely upgrading and defending your ship.

But with a few balancing tweaks, I think you're onto a real winner here - awesome work!

Boxed In by voxatrophia 2023-10-12T11:11:20Z

This was fun and a clever take on Tetris. The controls were very intuitive, although I would've liked having a second rotate button to let me choose which direction to rotate. The levels were clever and had a good amount of challenge. I think it would be good to show the next few pieces that are coming up to help players plan their moves a bit better. Not sure if there was a piece limit (I didn't see one), but if there isn't that could add another level of strategy to it. And the audio was a bit loud, so adding some slider to control that would be a great little addition. Overall I really liked it - great work!

Limited Space by RaineShadow 2023-10-08T04:12:12Z

This was a cool idea and I liked the different stories that were made based on what I packed. I did have a lot of difficulty putting items in the suitcase though. I couldn't drag the shoes in, even though there was nothing else in the suitcase. But overall, this was a cool idea and I really enjoyed it!

Walking The Pig by Frank Gevaerts 2023-10-10T11:01:31Z

This was a lot of fun. I like the different choices that there were, and it felt really good writing what I wanted since it felt like I was enacting my own story. Although I did get confused about which pig was where at some points, I think there were 3 different ones? A little more description would've helped telling them apart (like giving names like daisy, or the spotty pig). But all in all, this was really fun - good job!

Shop Goblins by Griddolini 2023-10-11T01:32:29Z

This was a fun little game. I really enjoyed the premise of the game, I think it worked quite well. I also loved the art style, and the music suited the game perfectly. I do think each shift could be a bit shorter, it starts to drag on a bit at the end. And the customer requests seem inconsistent - at the start I was waiting for something to do, and then at the end they were requesting 5 things and it felt like I didn't have enough time for it. But overall, I had a lot of fun playing this game - great job!

Last God's Bidding by Daxic 2023-10-12T11:03:19Z

This was a lot of fun and a really clever idea. It reminds me of the Reigns game - not sure if you took inspiration - but I like those games. The music was great, the visuals were nicely stylized and very cohesive, and the mechanics were simple and intuitive. Would've loved to be able to do something with the disasters - whether is be erasing them, moving them, or getting new tiles based on the disaster (like an oasis that can only be placed on a desert). If this were an actual app, I'd be addicted - awesome job!

The King is Watching by Tvorojok 2023-10-12T11:44:16Z

Wow, this was such a fun game - hats off to your team. It was so simple, yet there was so much depth with the different options and constant management of resource production. The buildings all seemed pretty well balanced, and the waves felt tough but not impossible. The music was great and the art was immaculate - even down to the small animations that played when a tile was active. This was really impressive, and I hope you make more of it!

Star Step by Kyle Spence 2023-10-03T00:40:21Z

This was a fun little game and I enjoyed the good manoeuvrability that you were able to create. It was a little hard to see the turret bullets at times, and it wasn't always clear if I was going to take damage leaving the hangar. I also would've loved a time trial mode to bring out the competitor in me - but overall all, great job!

Space Fortress by Nocardia 2023-10-03T01:13:41Z

Clever idea, it was a good challenge managing the different shaped pieces and the oncoming enemies. Would love to have seen more turret and enemy variety, but overall a great job!

Narrow Cells by StvUP 2023-10-03T03:57:16Z

This was a good little game. The controls were good, and you got the right level of "floaty-ness" for the ship. The graphics are great with lots of polish and feel really cohesive. This is a game I would've spent hours trying to finish, but I'm stuck on the third (bright purple) section.

Not sure if the collision damage is based on speed, or some other factor, but I feel like more consistent damage scaling would help. Sometimes I would slam into an object and take no damage, and other times I would give a rock a love tap and instantly die.

As for some of the sections (especially in the purple section), they are quite narrow - it almost feels impossible at some points. Maybe if the slow down button slowed down time, it would let you fine tune your ship for those tight turns.

Overall, this was a blast and I really enjoyed it!

High Caffeine Black Tea by SLEEPYMENACE 2023-10-08T03:54:44Z

This was a fun concept and I loved the conversations before each round. Some of the attacks seemed pretty intense, especially the last boss - I could not beat it for the life of me. And as everyone has said, a restart button would've been great. But this was a unique take on the theme, and I really enjoyed it -great work!

Highly Specialized Troops by Erivas_Soulares 2023-10-14T06:30:46Z

I really liked this game. The combination of the unit combining and the tower defence aspect was really nice. The art was amazing and I really enjoyed the music too! I found the game a little unbalanced. Since all you needed to do was get one unit to the end of a lane, you could put one weak unit in every lane and win pretty easily. On my first attempt I saw a big goblin/ogre but I never aw it again. I feel like an enemy waves approach to this would balance it and make it more fun - you have to choose when you deploy your strong unit to wipe out a lane. But overall, this was a lot of fun - great work!

Tetromino Cleanup by f1tzy 2023-10-08T03:42:06Z

Once I understood what was going on, I enjoyed this quite a bit. Although, I did have to read some of the other comments to figure out what I had to do - but a little tutorial could fix that real easy. But the game was springily addictive, and the simple controls really helped that. I tapped out at 800, when I got stuck in the roof when the level raised while I was near the top. But overall lots of fun!

Healthbound: Survive by LucaDev 2023-10-11T03:34:14Z

This was really fun to play. The controls were simple and easy to pickup, and the limited ammo was an interesting idea. I feel like adding another type of movement, like a dash, would help you from getting stuck or swarmed by enemies at once, especially when they spawn in. But overall, this was a fun little game - great job!

Galactic Taxi Limited by Archaeognathus 2023-10-10T11:14:08Z

This was a fun little game. Like others, I didn't realise you had to click on a passenger to pick them up, but I quickly figured out what to do. After that I really enjoyed dashing around the map trying to drop off as many aliens as possible. The art and music really suited the game too and added to the overall vibe. Great job!

Prospector Pete by Porgiepie 2023-10-08T03:59:39Z

This was a fun little game. It's simplicity made it easy to pick up and understand, and it really had me planning out my movement. Only thing I'd suggest is having a little popup in the corner displaying the different gem values, because I kept forgetting what the top gems were. But overall, really good job!

Jambulance by NuiN 2023-10-14T06:21:53Z

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed the different routes you set up, each with their own difficulty, let me choose how chaotic or daring I wanted to be haha! The controls were good, but sometimes I felt a bit too harshly punished with the collisions. If I lightly tapped a car when I was accelerating, I'd come to a complete stop every time. Maybe factoring in direction and speed based on the object might help it feel a bit smoother. I loved the graphics and explosions, especially creating a traffic jam from hitting one too many cop cars! Overall this was a great little game - good job!

FLAPPO! by Esther128 2023-10-03T02:17:09Z

Really smooth and tight controls for such a short amount of time. Unfortunately, I too got stuck after the dash. Seems like it might be a timer issue because I could jump for a short while after the dash before getting stuck. But I really like the premise, and the animation was really nice - good job!

Slideworld by XRy 2023-10-03T02:05:20Z

As a big fan of sliding puzzles, I really enjoyed this game. Would've loved to see that extra mechanic you mentioned and some more levels - but that deadline always races towards you. Nice and simple with some cute graphics, great work for your first solo game.

Find us if you can by catasha27 2023-10-02T07:01:04Z

A fun and simple little game. Wish there were more levels - I would definitely get addicted to a game like this. Great work for your first game!

Shelf Shift by Spajus 2023-10-14T06:36:37Z

This was a fun quirky little game! I liked the concept and your play on limited space. I found rotation a little tricky though, but I got the hang of it eventually. Maybe a button or two that snap in increments (45, 90, 135, etc.)? I think the design on the shelf itself was clever, and I found myself putting certain types of books in certain spots, although small books were always the ones I were looking for. The music was super relaxing and I had a fun time playing it - great work!

A Bit Too Hot by Kris3 2023-10-12T11:17:36Z

I like the idea you came up with. The art and music were nice, and blended together quite nicely. The cutscenes were a great touch as well. I can see the goal of the dragging mechanic, but unfortunately it didn't work as intended. I tried to use it and got lost, and then I ended up dragging myself around the level randomly until I hit another cutscene. Dialling down the sensitivity and adding a timer or limit to the dragging ability would help make it more usable and allow for some fun level design. But a great effort none-the-less!
