Really fun game! I've played so many rounds it isn't funny - still haven't managed to beat it yet, but will definitely return to this one. You've got a good variety of abilities, and their personalities are great and distinct. Was also not expecting a full cinematic with voice overs - which was a really nice touch.
My only issue with it is that the waves of enemies/meteors are inconsistent and can have really high difficulty spikes. I went from almost beating it one round to losing in less than a minute in the next, just because a massive meteor can out of nowhere and took a third of my health. It also makes it challenging to get the worm hole up since your focus tends to be on solely upgrading and defending your ship.
But with a few balancing tweaks, I think you're onto a real winner here - awesome work!
Really amazing game! I'm surprised by how good the balance is for the short time period plus just simply an addicting game. Idk if there's much else I can say, well done
Enjoyed the game a lot! I noticed that you can upgrade the missile and wormhole module only in order to win. While the missile module is defending you can charge lvl 3 wormhole. Game has a lot of potential for mode content. Liked every aspect of it.
Wow this was really cool. Always amazing to see games like this come out of just 72 hours. Loved the visual style of the game and all of the sounds and voice lines really made this game feel polished. The only thing I could fault it on was the difficulty, sometimes it felt like there were a million asteroids at once and if that happened to be after my shield runs out there's not much I can do. I think some of the abilities like the shield and bomb were a little difficult as you couldn't see what the charge levels were or know how fast they're charging. I think it could have just in general been a bit easier though as I played 3 or 4 times and almost got to the end but I think expecting more than 10 minutes is pushing it for a jam game - even if it's as well made as yours.
Really good job guys!
Really great game, very well polished. I loved the intro; how on Earth did you find the time to also do that (and at that level of quality)? :D Played till the end (a victory by a very thin margin), thinking all the time about how tricky it was to balance only two active slot, but then I remembered that's exactly the theme
Really great entry! I love character personalities, graphics and audio are also superb! Appreciate how you interpret the theme in the management gameplay - and it was definitely very fun and interactive. Managed to get to the end seconds before imminent lose)
Thanks for the fun time with the game and wish you even greater projects in future! :)
This was a lot of fun with great art, music, voice acting and overall a lot of polish. I got the wormhole up like 10% before dying to a crazy meteor that seemed to come out of nowhere. I wish that the railguns prioritized closer enemies because they seemed to fire randomly, but maybe there was just something that I missed.
There was a lot of guessing how things worked. I didn't know what the bomb did and it just sat there the first time doing nothing until I clicked on it when nothing was around and it exploded. I would say that the game would benefit from some additional explanation, but honestly it played fast enough that it works to let the player experiment a little.
Overall very nice work!
This game is professionally made, It's not like a jam game, It's like a really nice indie game created by team. I really like the comics, art and audio of this game. Gameplay is quite intresting to. For win you need just a research module, upgrade rocketman to 3 lvl, and then upgrade wormhole to 3 lvl, then rocketman + wormhole and you're win. Good entry guys!
I enjoyed the art in the game, I liked the music as well. A Very Good Job!
Neat idea and and very polished looking game. The art is really cool too.
Very cool and fun. I lost about 50% of the black hole. I liked that there is a lull and there is a storm.
Pretty amazing ngl. The graphics and theme fit very well together and the gameplay is solid too
cool game, keep up the good work
I loved the graphics, congratulations! to developers
Great art style, nice game, good job!
Well done job. Excellent UI, improvements and gradually increasing complexity. It's very nice to play.
Awesome game! I really enjoyed playing it, the graphics, the audio and gameplay were great! Though, I would like to see upgrades of available slots. Very well done!
Incredibly impressive in all aspects. Visually, audio-wise, design wise. A blast. Definitely my favorite game this jam. Congratulations to everyone involved.
The game is interesting, it was quite nice to play it, keep working on it and everything will be cool
Okay, what kind of black magic did you have to commit to get a game looking and sounding this good within 72 hours? The intro alone could've come out of a full retail title!
I love the concept, I love the aesthetic, I love the gameplay - the only thing I'm not so huge on is its commitment to the bit. Restricting the player to two slots makes a lot of sense at the get-go, I'm absolutely sold on the idea that you have to switch back and forth between your modules as the situation demands, but I really would've liked it if you could upgrade to three slots at some point; there is simply *too much going on* in the lategame for me to both survive *and* get the wormhole open. I tried three times and each time I was overwhelmed by enemies at the end. I also think it'd be useful if the Shield had a visible cooldown indicator.
(There's also an OCD part of me that wishes you could upgrade the Research Module as well - and perhaps there should be *some* secret utility to upgrading the Historian XD)
@ryusui what makes makes you think that there _isn’t_ some hidden utility to upgrading the historian already?
Wow. This game felt like a professional game. Intro was neat, voice acting was great, graphics were very nice, gameplay was fun and pretty balanced. I beat it in my second play through. The first time I got all systems upgraded to level three except for the wormhole. At that point there were just too many things out to not have both guns active and survive. Well done!
Pretty nifty game with some overall fun gameloop, I like the kineticism of the bomb module - might be worth disclosing that the intro screens are AI-generated artwork though?
The feel of this game is top notch! Everything works together, the graphics and audio are awesome and the gameplay is simply fun!

Great point! One thing I wish I'd thought of during the jam is at least having Research Module have a ⭐ icon or something instead of a "1". It does feel a little incomplete when you're done!
