How to Po by Decentsauce 2023-10-04T11:06:42Z

I loved the idea and the execution. Only issue I had was that I was moving to the left and after about what seemed like 5 minutes of "building" a path, I was no where closer to anything else. So at that point I just quit. It was hard to tell if there was something out there or if just making a long platform was the point.

I missed the point to grab the apples...

Chargez by bentglasstube 2023-10-12T10:22:02Z

This game was well done. I would reciprocate much of what has been said. Maybe add the controls to a pause menu. The game was so loud at first I died just trying to maneuver while attempting to turn the volume down. So adjusting that in the app would be ideal. Maybe at the end highlight the players time, or better yet, keep a log of previous scores. Or best yet, keep an online leaderboard (But it's a short jam, so I get it). Anyway, it was fun, so mission accomplished!

Packing and Unpacking by nusan 2023-10-06T10:06:14Z

Great game! Just needed a bit of audio for successful placement. Would have added a lot I think. Well done!

Park King by BoxedMeatRevolution 2023-10-05T01:26:02Z

Man, this was awesome. Easily the most fun game I've played so far. The only issue I had was on the bus level (the first if there are two), my bus got wedged in a turn where I couldn't move in any direction. I really wish there was a restart button or a pause menu to allow me to restart. Other than that, maybe more crushing pounds and fire would be awesome. Anyway, this was really really good. - Just saw there was a reset button! I'll give it another shot soon. I still think a pause menu with controls would be a great addition. Thanks so much!

Little Cart of Junk by auxC 2023-10-04T10:40:40Z

Great game! Totally reminded me of Surgeon Simulator. I quit on the second level after spending about twenty minutes trying to get the stupid beachball and ice cube into the tub onto the cart. The only complaint I had was that if you had items in the tub and clicked on the tub, most of the time it would register that you clicked on an item in the tub, even if that item wasn't really close to where you clicked. But otherwise it was awesome!

Gone Fishin' by cdunham 2023-10-17T12:12:05Z

Fun game! I liked the fishing mechanic. Only thing I felt that was missing was some sort of ending once you filled your boat. Screenshot 2023-10-17 at 7.10.39 AM.png

Well done!

Silicon Boulevard 2 - No Space to Kill by David Mason 2023-10-11T10:19:24Z

Man I wanted to play more of this game, but as others said the colliders were very weird and you could get stuck in strange places. It was interesting saving dialogue to use in other conversations! Pretty neat. Art was cool and the dialogue was awesome if it was larger. Anyway, great work and I would actually like to see more of this game!

StreamLord by RAFFE 2023-10-12T10:37:17Z

This was a fun game. It was hard to tell what would fit in what times though. At the end I had a small gap, but nothing would fit in it. Anyway, well done!

Cosmic Collapse by LaneDavis 2023-10-17T11:43:09Z

Wow. This game felt like a professional game. Intro was neat, voice acting was great, graphics were very nice, gameplay was fun and pretty balanced. I beat it in my second play through. The first time I got all systems upgraded to level three except for the wormhole. At that point there were just too many things out to not have both guns active and survive. Well done!

The Great Ghostly Candy Heist by epb9000 2023-10-11T09:45:53Z

Pretty neat game. I couldn't really tell the difference between each play through or what the space button did. But the game was solid and it was a fun and interesting idea. Well done!

Too Many Towers! by rekate 2023-10-06T01:10:00Z

Dang, wanted to try it but the Mac version just threw an error and itch says it's missing.

@antarian weird. It worked fine on my Mac mini M1 Chrome browser.

Work Until You're Undead by Diego Escalante 2023-10-05T10:12:39Z

Man this game was fun! I loved the barks the intercom sent. "New ping pong table... get back to work!" haha! Finished it and had fun. Occasionally when you put a desk down you'd get stuck on it. I felt like you could see pretty well without the flash light. I found my self rarely moving the mouse except periodically. You moved very quick as well. But none of these things took away from the fun. Well done!

Realistic Falling Blocks by Flying Dog Fish 2023-10-16T11:33:32Z

Fun game. I agree with some of the other reviewers where the blocks were very light which made it very difficult to stack. Felt a bit like trying to stack cardboard boxes during a tornado. I think it was a bit too frustrating. I would have things lined up and when I would place the blocks they would move again, which seemed odd. Really the only other thing I would advise would be to add volume control. As soon as the game started, I lunged for my volume control as the music was blaring. But other than those small things this was really well done!

The incredible adventure of Bonaventure the Hero by ThomasLebel 2023-10-16T11:14:51Z

Fun game! It was a neat game and cool concept. My only advice would be to set up the controls to better work with two hands. Typically a platformer game uses the space to jump. So maybe shift to pick up weapons, return to attack and then space to jump. This would allow a player to use jump with their right hand to allow for better timed jumps. I fell to my death more times than I'd like to share. Good job!

Witch Contractor 2 by alpacalypse 2023-10-17T10:56:52Z

Fun game! It was rather simple and really just came down to a timed maze. Other than just trying to get more points the player never really has to shoot anything or collect anything. Perhaps the levels could also require things to keep it a bit more different each time? Like collect three blah blahs, then the player has to look at the map at the beginning, not only for the circle, but also for these different items each level? Anyway, good job!

BACK TO REALITY by koboldskeep 2023-10-06T02:02:28Z

Man I moved this game! I kept playing until I finished it. The game was really well balanced. Obviously it all came down to where you went first and you had to do things in the correct order, but it wasn't impossible or easy. I loved how it seemed to slow down when you zoomed out which was nice so you could see where you were at. Definitely one of my favorites this jam. Well done!

The Confines by DestroyerTech 2023-10-06T12:11:05Z

I tried Safari and it would just keep starting over after a few minutes in, then switched to Chrome and was able to complete the game with no issues. The story was very cool! My only criticism would be to: add some sound (typing maybe or speaking if possible) and/or allow the player to increase the speed of the words. Well done!

Space Knight by darzu 2023-10-17T10:45:44Z

This game was fun! At first when I would start the game the mouse cursor was still visible, which meant that when I would move to look it would move off of one monitor onto the next causing me to not be able to control anymore. Then I finally clicked at the beginning of the game, this makes the cursor disappear and then I was finally able to actually play the game. Once this happened, I found that the mouse really helps move the player to rotate up and down. Before this I could never leave the ship and then come back. Anyway, long story, but if the player had to click to start the game I think all of this could have been avoided. The game itself was fun after I read this page to figure out what I was supposed to do. I got really close to the end but must have missed some oxygen. My only suggestion would be to have a few things close at first. This gives the player some immediate success and then just progressively have more and more things farther and farther away. Well done!

Space Ltd. by Jon Curtin 2023-10-05T01:05:40Z

Fun game! Unique controls. Well done!

RIDE OF THE LIVING DEAD! by deadjolly 2023-10-06T01:20:10Z

This game looked great! But I couldn't find a way to do anything other than just get the car to drive by hitting the space bar. I used the mouse and pressed every single button on the keyboard and space was the only thing that did anything.

RIDE OF THE LIVING DEAD! by deadjolly 2023-10-06T10:50:58Z

OK, I ran it in window mode, also had to be sure not to make it too big and I could click on stuff! This game was great! I could definitely see adding a few more mechanics, like ammo, shooting and like others said totally reminded me of Oregon Trail. Well done!

Sick! Virus Busters by Raptorspank 2023-10-05T00:59:44Z

As others have said, it was hard to tell what was enabled and what wasn't. At first I just thought it didn't work until I saw comments in here, so then I played it again and was able to kill a bunch of the enemies. I did find a few areas that I just couldn't move past. Felt like an invisible blockage or something. I think to improve the controls you could just have the w key propel the player in the direction they are facing. It was a bit strange flying sideways while shooting. Art was pretty cool. Good job on the jam!

A MAN WITH A PAN by 6len 2023-10-05T01:37:43Z

Fun game, well done!

SINISTER ELEVATOR by ScaryTreeGames 2023-10-19T10:07:51Z

Great game! My only suggestions would be: Make the spiders move faster and maybe a bit erratic - this would make the game more difficult and easier to miss. Change the lighting to be a bit darker - you could see the spiders so far away that they were dead LONG before they ever threatened me. Possibly on every level make the spiders faster and the hall darker - this gives us a scarier effect the higher we get. Could add possible gun jams - this forces the player to take car of the spiders as soon as possible never knowing when the gun might jam. I think with some changes to make it more challenging and adding points and effects/polish, this could be a great endless runner type game. Great job!

Nautical Saviour by Oznarox 2023-10-06T10:24:17Z

Pretty fun game. Just felt like the controls were clunky and interactions didn't always work. But it was a neat game and enjoyable! Well done!

Why didn't it grab my title page?

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-04T11:37:17Z

Sorry! I had a friend experience that. It ran fine on both my Lenovo and Mac mini.

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-05T00:39:14Z

Anything you can interact with is highlighted by a yellowish shader. You can use the mouse to hover over something and then click the left mouse button.

*spoiler* start with a statue.

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-05T01:40:25Z

Thanks for playing @oddballDave! most walls/ceiling/floors each had a list of assets they would randomly grab when building the level. The map was always identical, but it at least made the look different each time, thanks for noticing and playing! I wonder if the time was too short? I finished on hard with 3 seconds to spare right before I uploaded it. But then afterwards couldn't beat that.

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-06T11:41:47Z

Be sure to click on the statues. One status unlocks one door. So there are maybe 4-5 statues.

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-08T13:51:24Z

Some great feedback! I thought it was just cut off and then redid the UI to be sure it was visible and re-released it, but just looked and forgot it entirely! Sorry about that! My friend also told me the arrow was "cheap" because you would die without knowing why and you could barely see it even if you were facing it. I wanted the camera to move a bit when you turned and moved, but ran out of time, but great suggestion!

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-12T10:10:30Z

Could you highlight the statues and click on them? That's how you open doors. I wanted it kind of something that was discovered, but also I didn't want to make people super frustrated. Does any one have advice on the statues? Should I have just make floor or wall panels that unlocked them? Thanks!

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-19T00:05:47Z

I think I stupidly have it where the statue unlocks AND locks the door. I’ll have to double check.

Down Below by Draekdude 2023-10-20T01:52:41Z

Yeah. Sorry about that! Thanks for playing!

Dungeon Heroes by naphalm 2023-10-17T11:09:56Z

I loved the idea of this game! I had some questions as others. 1. Can you lose? 2. What is the end? 3. Is there any strategy? I could see this game being a lot of fun if you need all players to do different things and if one dies then maybe you can't finish the level. Anyway, the game worked and I reached the far right of the screen (until I could just barely see the players). Well done!

Lost on Island by zaykin_timofey 2023-10-11T09:58:45Z

This was a really neat game! I agree with others where it needed a way to tell when you had something highlighted. Sometimes you could notice the objects name when it was highlighted and sometimes that wasn't obvious. Picking things up could be hard. I also had a few times where I cut down a tree or bush and it didn't make anything. The only other thing was it was hard to tell where you had to bring the materials to build stuff. I brought sticks over to the bridge and they just fell off the island. Other than some of these issues, I think with some juice this could be really fun! Well done!

Moving in by Just_A_Cat 2023-10-17T11:19:45Z

Fun game! I thought it was funny you could jump into the air and then move a box while you're in the air to be under your feet so when you "unpaused" you'd be on that block. You could use that mechanism to basically fly around the room if there was enough space. As others said since you could move stuff anywhere through stuff and as long as the end location had room for it it was OK, the game was too easy. But either way it was fun and it was functional! Well done!
