Great soundtrack and fun gameplay loop! Really quite impressively efficient game design, star particles in the background give a dynamic space feeling and all the controls and sound effects are minimal but make sense. A timer or indicator for when the 'dizzy' effect ends would help communicate what's happening, it's a bit hard to tell with that effect. I had some horizontal black bars flickering on the screen when playing the web build, bit otherwise all ran smooth. Nice work on the game + engine.
The black flickering bars are because of the "Hacker" enemies.
This game was well done. I would reciprocate much of what has been said. Maybe add the controls to a pause menu. The game was so loud at first I died just trying to maneuver while attempting to turn the volume down. So adjusting that in the app would be ideal. Maybe at the end highlight the players time, or better yet, keep a log of previous scores. Or best yet, keep an online leaderboard (But it's a short jam, so I get it). Anyway, it was fun, so mission accomplished!

Very cool game! I tend to die when I try to kick out other balls. Just trying to survive would probably the better strat haha.
Had to play muted audio at work so wont rate audio or mood.

Nice design, and great execution for a compo.
I agree with other comments, the dizzy effect strongly needs some visual/audio feedback to know when it's active or not!
The direction-reversing ones killed me over and over and over. Other than them (perhaps they shouldnt spawn til later?), I really liked it!
Only 2:14 but nice game overall don't think I understood all the did mechanics of the challenge though I felt I did not survive nearly long enough.

are you supposed to die when you go outside the ring or just lose a heart? In the web version, my game always froze then.
Overall, though, a very cool and well made game!
@yoss-iii you should only lose a heart for going out of the ring. You can press Enter (or start on a controller) to continue when that happens.
Nice music! I feel like the optimal strategy is to just avoid everything as long as possible, or I at least died almost immediately after touching the control reversing orbs (would be nice with some indication of how long the effect lasts). 3:20.

Nice game! My feedback: - Text should be larger, especially the timer. - As someone already mentioned, it would be nice to have some indication of how long the reversed controls last. - I had some strange flashing white bars on the screen, looks like some kind of a glitch. - Minor nitpicks: cursor should be hidden, spacebar should also start the game.
I liked the graphics, audio and overall feel.

I'm really impressed by how much actual gameplay you managed to get working with such a simple concept, I really liked figuring out the effect of the different orbs, and I especially like the ones that dash at you to knock you out of the ring. The audio was great, the music was engaging yet not too distracting. Great job!

Wow, that is impressive both in idea and in execution!
I just didn't notice the timer at first. My final strategy was to run around (roll around?), like a shepherd's dog guarding the pack. :P

It's like a space pool.
At the beginning, I made efforts to push the balls out of the circle. It works, but it's not much rewarding. It does not give any points, and while you push one, 3 more arrives. So, I just used the same strategy as cagibi: rolling around.
At the end, I just died on purpose, because I must admit it was becoming annoying. No new special balls, no specific challenge, the difficulty was not increasing that much. Anyway, I spent a nice little time !
Best music of all the game I tested for this Ludum Dare.
I played HTML version on a desktop. The window does not resize and it was really too big. The game switched automatically to fullscreen at start, then I removed it, then I wanted to put it back and it didn't work.
In short: there are still some bugs about the graphical layout.
Very fun game! I had two main strategies, the first one was avoiding all the balls, circling and moving when the swirly balls got too close, the second one was once the screen had filled up with enough pusher enemies to just stay in the center and rambo it out in a free-for-all pushing balance of terror. I'm not sure if my comment can capture the excitement and hype of this second strat as the clacking continued for several minutes (it was seriously intense), but an untimely swirly that made it into our honorable-pushing-contest inner circle confused and ended me. My best run was 07:30, that was also the run with the swirly finish above. But yeah, very enjoyable gameplay that draws you in and a perfect take on the theme. I loved seeing it fill up and how it got more and more intense. Also the type of gameplay loop where you immediately want to jump in again when you've been knocked out to try and stay in longer. Music is a total bop too, I still have it on in the background while writing this, it's awesome. Wonderful game, great job!
