nice visual. I like the idea, I started placing animals around the center and it looks easy, maybe not the best strategy to maximise score, but anyway. Maybe some random encounters which will break straight forward strategy and force to adopt will be more fun.
nice and simple, easy to understand. like it. my score is 404)
My score is about 20. I like the idea about unstable weapon. I was confused about objective in the beginning. Also think that definitely need some animation for dead. Some times just didn't have enough time to look at my score. Good job.
It's hard to understand what is going on here. But it looks neat, have no idea how to defend brain in the end.
Looks like it doesn't work in browser Screenshot 2023-01-11 at 11.52.10 AM.png
yeah it's working in chrome. the game is really fun. I love level design, it works well with AHA moments! nice job!
The art is awesome, animation of the truck when it walk looks good, the Boss is stunning. But the game itself really boring, I have to wait 2 minutes before boss, without any gameplay events, than I died and wondered how to beat the boss, but after 2 attempts I wont to wait again to try beat him. I wish the game be more fast at least. I think there is a potential in this idea, so hope to see it finished.
It's really fun, movement feels good and nice sounds made it fun.
@alex-de-la-cour yes, balancing such game kind of tricky. yeah, maybe it way too easy when you got super food early
@pazzi thanks, I wasn't confident about tutorial.
@hmrpf when you mix 2 fruits you will receive a fruit with mixed properties, not necessarily better
@shahinm yeah, the corn is way too easy, nice finds! thanks
@zbugba thanks for feedback, definitely requires some QoL features
@mayst @shaunyeap glad that you enjoyed the game!
Congrats on first jam! Nice job that you finished your idea! In the middle of day it's over lighted that I cannot see my current points. I didn't expected the animation but it looks nice! Hope to see you in the next jams
wow, amazing, love this bullet hell runner. the sound is awesome!
the sounds are funny) I enjoyed it much, the concept is interesting, a bit complicated when you add one more customer. great job!
nice interpretation on game of life. in the beginning it's hard to understand what will be on the next turn, it will be helpful to display next round growing somehow
Love it, addictive gameplay and interesting idea with one action at a time. But the screen shake is way too much.
Really interesting concept. Love the visual. Levels are not so simple). Last level beaten after 10 attempts. The dash ability is too quick. Would love more strategic/puzzle gameplay instead of quick run.
@alex-de-la-cour yes, at some point I went really angry) but I think it because of I wanted it to be more strategic and calm instead of quick and rush
Love the graphics, player controller seems way too inertial and throwing seeds is too tricky. Overall gameplay is fun
My best is 1200
@superklever definitely, we lost almost a day for tuning train movement on rails (and it's still buggy), so did't have time for QoL features. Currently we are preparing new release with UI improvement and balanced gameplay.
@duncant thank you for feedback. zombies attack station and if timer goes out than the station disables and you cannot interact with it anymore
fun small game, the art and animation looks nice. controls are strange, cannot play using touchpad, mouse + arrows is not usual controls. good job!
I like the concept. I wish that goods are stay after the day, so I will decide to remove them if they not selling ok. Also, I would be nice to have cash to spend when buying goods, so it make sense that I bet on particular producs.
@oznarox you loose when food drops to zero and win when population reaches 50
@lorddaniel yeah, balance problems with gold, inflation on the island is way too high)
@vary Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate that you gave the post-jam version a chance!
@mr-bluecap Thank you for your feedback. You can try the post-jam version, I tried to make it less RNG based.
@pen-island-games thank you for the detailed feedback. absolutely agree with all your points, but haven't come up with an interesting solution yet. will check tiny towns, thank you for the reference.
Love the idea. Physics a bit buggy, I broke the game several times. Personally I'm too scary to make anything with physics cuz I know that physics-based games are really hard to make! Good job!
@denzel yeah, on the last jam I spent whole day tuning train physics to make it smooth (it didn't end up smooth enough)
Didn't manage to finish it. The difficulty is way too high for me. Overall I like the idea, from my perspective with some accessibility features it might be really unique game. Something like slow-mo and trajectory prediction.
I love the idea
Looks very polished, I enjoyed it.
The art is simple and the game a bit buggy (managed to got durability filled whole screen) but the game feel is awesome, the car controls are good, smashing zombies are fun. Good Job!
I like that you can suck enemies, very fun.
Bug with a platform and button blocks progression. Character control is way to rigid. The idea is cool, I see some fez here.
nice looking game. intro a bit hard, everything happens at once. slowly increasing difficulty with adding resources one by one would be nice intro
explosion spell is OP, the game after this spell is too easy. After couple minutes of standing still I quit due to lack of action.
Didn't get the point of "Can you hold out until the end of the night and defeat the darkness?", is it beatable? I confused cuz there was no progress for several minutes and name says that it might be endless.
this is fun, game juice is well polished. camera shake is insane. and zoom on picking a weapon is too disrupting
@multiphonix actually you can buy new workers using a sign on the left
Taking down the larger enemies feels pretty unrewarding since they only get stunned for a couple of seconds, so I found myself just ignoring them. Also, I think the game would improve by removing the shooting mechanic when dropping creatures into the fire. On the positive side, I absolutely love the art style and animations—they look very polished and well-crafted. The diagonal movement was a pleasant surprise, both in terms of visuals and control—it feels really smooth. One suggestion I have is to add some randomization to the sound effects to make them less repetitive.
great game, stylish and polished. well done
The concept is fantastic and definitely has the potential to become a full-fledged game. Here are a few suggestions:
- Food should spawn continuously: I ended up soft-locked when all my units died, and I couldn’t get any meat. - Poison spots feel too punishing: Once a unit touches the poison, it’s pretty much game over for that unit. - Controls are too complicated: Simplifying the controls by reducing the number of keys would make the gameplay much smoother. - Unit variety needs improvement: The different unit types feel too similar. Adding more variety and unique abilities would make each unit type feel more distinct and engaging.
Overall, the animations are excellent, and the game runs smoothly. Great job!
it's harder than I thought. I think that the game would benefit from the smaller levels
I love how adorable these creatures are. I was shocked to learn that they can actually die(
very atmospheric game
it's hard, spend about 10 attempts to beat the first level. the game is very chaotic, would prefer to start slow, simple small level to learn the game and then it goes more difficult. good job! maybe it's a bug, but in the firefox I got constantly cracking sounds.
well polished game with great game play loop
@pumpkineater thank you!
@leophyte thank you for the feedback
@space8 thank you, yeah we had in plans adding upgrades
@divarium initially different colors were for different resources, but we cut it off so it's just for color variations now, thank you for the feedback
@split82 thank you for playing!
@pigeonescu yeah, controls might be a bit clunky, especially when you drag asteroids, thank you.
@sylf thank you!
wow, that was very cool, feels very stylish and atmospheric
was confused at start how to play but after a while got how to play and the game has great aha moments! well done, the only wish is to remove some tiles instead of starting drawing from the scratch again and again. good game!
@caeonosphere ah, got it, I need to drag on them to remove instead of clicking
really cool game, I wish only fixed animations and character controller
well made game, for me difficulty was BRUTAL, however managed to reach blue spider, good job, enjoyed playing it!
The stacking works really well, it's chill and well polished. Some thoughts on improvements: unlocking new slots for carrying stones from the second screen doesn't actually add sense of progression would be great to have some king of vfx reward of achieving height milestones as well as reaching end goal at first it's hard to find the button to go to the second screen
the art is stylish and animations are cool, would love to have more dialog options with not so obvious choices. enjoyed playing it
was surprised that the game has localization, well done!
for me camera is constantly moving right, so it's very hard to play have to admit great visual, but the game is very slow
@arnage no, I don't have controller connected
@itero-proto first you need to send signal to select the ship (top left corner displays the code for the ship)
@anthony-katona just added a little tutorial to the game
@psevdonim it's intentionally not very responsive, simulating ships inertia, but you right, might be better
@t00nbink I cut first short level in the last moment, due to lack of testing, agree that it would be better to gradually increase distances and difficulties
I was a bit confused at the start but after few tries I got it, good work
great execution, great atmosphere, it's creepy, and jump scare works well)
love games about ships) well done
the art style is cool, something unique and special
that was a lot of fun, great job!
good game, and pick a finger was a nice way yo show how much levels left. lost only 1 finger on the last challenge.
fun game, a bit messy at the end, I just spammed archer towers and boss was eliminated in a second
this was really good, wish there more new stuff, good job
it's fun mechanic, I didn't get how should I find the house but guessing. Wish these some indication where the signal should reach. Also, as others mentioned, the bug with upgrade shop, it shows null money, so I can't buy anything. Overall nice game
yea! another game about morse code! it was fun, good job the game is freezing when selecting level
simple game reminds me old flash games
ended up manually catching speed, but the game is good, well done
I wish there more choices when talking, so I can ask, the game would feel not so linear. Overall great execution, I liked the style, atmosphere and arstotzka-like vibes
