Nice game, interesting how the character moves between screens. There's one platform with a button on top that killed me a lot because i fell through it into the spikes and some of the wall decorations get mixed with the platforms which led to some confusion and death.

I like the graphical design of the game. The game itself is also nice, but it would be nice to be able to use SPACE for jumping and to have checkpoints so that you don't have to restart at the beginning of the game all the time. Oh, and its possible to softlock the game in the third room.

Bug with a platform and button blocks progression. Character control is way to rigid. The idea is cool, I see some fez here.
The transitions were a pretty cool touch between the screens. Mix that with maybe faster movement and audio it would be pretty addicting. Overall great job on doing the game jam, hope you had fun with it and hope you keep going!
I do like the simple platforming building up and getting harder and harder. I didn't like that it started you all the way back at the beginning when you mess up. But the transitions were fun, and the simple graphics are nice.
Transitions are really cool.

Really fun concept! I had the same issue where sometimes i confused background decoration with platforms. Esp. the 1x1 brick texture. I also got stuck on level 3 after dropping the box down where the blue sliding block is but I assume that's just me being dumb. I love the rotation when transitioning between rooms.
The style is nice and the movement between the screens is also well executed. There are a few glitches though like the switch platform that you sometimes fall through, or in the 3rd world is a room with 3 sets of spikes on the ground with a blue switch platform and a box that you can drop down, in this room the entrance for the next room just didn't work.
But all in all a great game ^^

Nice game! Great graphics, I agree with @creeepsy it would have been nice to have checkpoints
ld.png i had a fun time with this. the level design was nice and i liked the cute pixel art. i did end up getting stuck on the 3rd level with no way to reset :(

It took me some time to realize that there is more to it than just interesting screen transitions and I actually enter rooms from different sides on a cube like space, very neat! I like the graphics reminiscent of old game consoles!
Unfortunately I think I also got stuck on a bug, because the screen wouldn't transition any more at some point :S

Good cohesive graphics! I particularly liked the background ornaments, and the room transition effect feels very nice - it has just enough character to stay interesting *without* becoming disorienting, *and* is quick enough to not interrupt the flow of gameplay.
There appears to be a bug where I fall through the button-platform in the first room with elevators unless I'm holding W / jump.
I couldn't progress further than that room; I never managed to time the jump properly for getting out of the bottom passage. Could be a design flaw, could just be a skill issue on my part.
The biggest overall flaw for my experience was how slowly the big heavy crate falls, especially compared to my own character speed. I think I would have preferred that it fall at least as fast as my character, as that's closer to how it would happen irl - unless you want to establish that they somehow have a very high air resistance in-game. More importantly, if the crate fell faster I think I would not have burn out as fast on retrying the later levels.
Nice game overall.

I couldn't finish the game due to collisions bugs. The pixelart is cute, but non-collidable background elements should be on a different color than platforms. The gravity could be increased to reduce float time for both the player and the boxes. I liked the transitions between levels.
Pretty well done by just one person, dope looking transitions between screens and the mechanics are typically good for a platform game. Though the orange block falls pretty slow.
I like this entry, well done! The art is coherent and looks nice. some clever puzzle elements. I do think physics are a bit too floaty, which could be the style of course. But speeding up the physics could make it more fun and make dying less annoying! I think I got stuck on the second level. I could not find a way to get out of this situation.

wow gravity is really low - things falling slow (even slower than myself?) :)
It's a really fun little game to play with! I really like the retro art style and how the wizard transitions from one area to another by rotating the space. The game is quite punishing though because I would respawn back at the beginning of the game having to go through all the areas I've been to already. But all in all, great job!
I love the transitions, haha :) Although, there's a bug if you go to the second room and return to the first one, you'll be softlocked (a -> b -> a -> softlock)
Also boxes' gravity is way too slow and the game lacks visual / audio effects and possibly better animations. Other than that, graphics look cute, great job and thanks for the game :)
Thanks for the comments :)

Graphics and concept are :ok_hand:
Having no checkpoints is a bit harsh, and in general the game feels a bit slow, as if it was running at 0.5× speed, which makes hitting spikes really painful :grimacing:
Speaking of spikes, this one has a bug which made me die twice by falling through the platform:

Is there audio I'm not hearing, or did you forget to opt out from the Audio category?
We apologize for the lack of sound in the game (most likely, all the sounds remained in that slow box on the first level).

Neat little game! Perhaps having some sort of death animation would make the transition back to start less jarring.
