This was neat, but for some reason some of the symbols weren't showing the "whole" symbol for me? Not sure if that's part of the mechanic, or a bug.

@gametrodon hey! Thanks for playing! Can you show how it looks like? May be it's just a symbol itself :D
Guys, art of the game is amazing. I also like the concept and how everything is blended nicely. Great job!
HeadQuarters.png
So here's how it looks for me. The symbols have been compressed down a ton or something? Not quite sure if it's intentional or not.
@gametrodon very odd. But I assume if you play in fullscreen it looks fine?

Incredible idea and stylisation!!! Impressive!
This is adorable. The sound design is amazing, and the visuals blew me away. Really really charming. I loved piloting my inept machine "person."
The level of polish is absolutely stunning, even the volume slider and the itch page hhave special attention given to them. Are some parts of the graphics 3D ? If so your shader works incredibly well, if not great job on animating the turbines ! As for the game, it worked well enough but there wasn't much to it, the 5 or so minutes playthrought felt repetitive. Great job on the submission !
@fishmasterino hey! Thanks for playing
Everything is 2D graphics, tho our artist, @13x666 does his magic ✨✨✨ somehow and it works (honestly, he tried to explain to me how it works and I just didn't understand half of the words)
We usually were making hard to play games and people were reacting "off, did not understand how to play", so this time we made it more casual. People still fail it occasionally but usually they can solve it in the next run. For those who want hardcore gameplay – we added leaderboards. Try to beat them :D
So, yeah, we of course could make it harder and a bit less repetitive but decided to let more people play it without any issues. I've also wanted to add endless and harder mode, but could not find time for that. So maybe post-jam version would have it

Anyway, I hope it was not too boring for you and you enjoyed the game!
Amazing art... amazing design... amazing gameplay and creativity! Everything, from the visuals to the sound to the animation, is just fantastic. After just one round, I completely understood what this game is about. Honestly, this is exactly the kind of game I've always dreamed of making, and it transcends language entirely! (A personal goal of mine is to create a game that breaks language barriers so anyone around the world can play.) This is definitely going to be one of my favorite creative ideas from now on, and I'm so happy I got my name on the leaderboard—hopefully it won’t be knocked off too soon. I also love the design of the volume slider. ~~maybe I should go check on how that little guys in my head are doing~~ By the way, what are those symbols? Some kind of language?
@iven thanks for feedback and such kind words! Symbols mean symbols :)
Such a fun game!! I enjoyed listening to the music, it set the mood. And the creature voices were great!
Completely blown away from my chair by sound design, path animation, screen effects, and everything else; You guys deliver as usual!
Here is my attempt:

Фиксики! Крутяк!
Graphically absolutely amazing and a great concept, knocked it outta the park!
Incredibly cute animations and character designs, great art direction, fun premise. Good music & sound design, overall one of my favorites of this jam.
omg this is so good! Really good animation, complete UI, unknown language but simple to understand, just wow! Idk if there's an ending but i completed around 20 tasks and it kept going big GG
@enderswype there is a finite amount of tasks and even a leaderboard. I am not sure we actually have 20 tasks :D
And also there is a "progress" of game in round window in the top bottom of your head
This game is excellent. The art, music and idea are very good.
I was faced with the fact that the game refused to open in full screen. This made some symbols difficult to see.
@teamofey-izorsky thanks! Told you already in Discord that you just need to click on that "gray" thing to unfreeze the game :)
Hope you really liked it

@kuviman thanks for playing and streaming! Will tell you if you fell down on leaderboards :D
Whouaaa the graphics and ambiance are insane!! Nice work!
great game, stylish and polished. well done
I've played around 10 games at this Game Jam at this moment, but this one is currently my favorite game! The artstyle and the little characters are cool. The animations are also very nice.
Apart from that the feedback was clear (for example when I crushed my car) :D and the music was very fitting. The game is super polished and that's very impressive!
Amazing artstyle and really polished UI, including great sound effects and artwork & animation details! It was a a bit difficult to understand at first what the objective was due to the language, but the gameplay is really good.
Wow great stuff. I was thinking it'd be pretty easy from the first few challenges but it soon got more difficult with the timing and with the symbols themselves :scream:
As others have said, amazing work on sound design and overall style, love the art & animation.
Awesome! I like everything about this game. We had simmilar idea on our brainstorm, but I don't think we could made it as well as you do. Perfection.
Your team delivers a good game once again. I remember being stunned by the wiggley-wormy game before, but this game is probably on par with it.
The fact that the music kicks in after the first mission is completed is a nice touch.
The units ack's are so cute. It makes ordering them to run around much more pleasant.
At first, I couldn't understand what's the challenge after you decipher what the game expects you to do. But then I failed the timings and it became apparent. :D Although I must say, the time bar works in a weird way, like the less time you have, the slower it runs out.
Is there a "good ending" when you were doing really well or it's an infinite game until you quit or lose? Since I'm not sure I made it to the proper ending, I'll share some thoughts that may be invalidated in the parts of the game I couldn't (?) reach.
I would like to see some extra dimension in the puzzles at some point. Like some glyphs requiring not just any worker, but the one of the right color. These tasks could provide some extra time as they're harder.
Another layer could be synonyms. If we would expand the game into something that has its own alphabet, then it could be logical that there are multiple terms for the same thing. If we could introduce "words" or other combinations, then the player would have an extra phase of decoding the task (e.g. it says "foo", but in reality you need to use "bar", because those are the buttons available to you). Basically, it means that this game may have some potential to become a full-fledged game if you really want to.
Please tell me the game says that I was doing great: Screenshot_2024-10-08_16-59-06.png
Upd - it seems like there is even a leaderboard. I'll come back to this game a bit later.
Cutie game with good intuitial UI. Like the conception of unknown language. Art & sound are very pretty (づ๑•ᴗ•๑)づ♡
@quasilyte thanks for the review. There are arounf 17 events total to complete the day. If you lose 6 times it's game over! If you complete all events (and lose less then 6) you win!
@kiberptah that means I just need to get better. I had a feeling that these missions are randomly generated, so it felt like an infinite game.
Completely finished game! This is incredibly cool for 72 hours! You are a great team :) graphics, vibe and animations are great, very nice to play. Gameplay is not very difficult, especially when you remember the location of the symbols, but the idea is cool.
@game-dynasty thanks! "Remembering where everything is" is part of the gameplay and learning curve so it's something we planned :D
For those who want more hardcore - try beat leaderboard
Yeah, I see the depth now.

I loved this game so much! 🎉 The visual style and animation are just amazing, and the sound design creates an incredible atmosphere! 🎶 The idea with incomprehensible symbols adds interest and mystery, and the character control is very intuitive. 🤖✏️ Although some moments were a little repetitive, overall this is just a great project! 👏👌 I look forward to future updates and new challenges. I am sure this game will be able to win the hearts of many players! ❤️
The art and audio are amazing, special mention to the animation of the creatures. I did'nt get hooked on the gameplay, maybe i didn't understood something, a bit to repetetive to me. Still a very cute game :)
The music and the sound design make the game so cute ! The game artist made a great job by creating these wtf creatures ahaha. Original game ! Good job ^^
Could not finish the game but it looking AMAZING. Like, what??? The mood and atmosphere is insanely good. The gameplay is also pretty good and I had fun sending my little dudes everywhere, even if random made me do a lot of the same back and forth.
This game is so cool! I loved it!
The design is very human. As a fellow human I enjoyed this game expirience a whole lot!
Hey I love the artstyle and the game loop, I wish I had a truckload of these little guys in my head to keep things in line
Thematically this game is awesome. I love the idea of tiny creatures running around in a brain trying to keep up with a deluge of crises and tasks. The game is very well polished in presentation. The gameplay does leave me wanting more. Perhaps if the creatures were partitioned in a way?
Really awesome! Clean and polished, seemingly simple, but I could see the challenge in planning for getting on the leaderboards... great design!
@sutt00 we had some ideas how to make larger version of the game but we have a few other ludum games that we would more likely polish and make larger before getting to this one :D
Thanks for playing!
Perfect visuals / audio and amazing polish. I enjoyed it a lot.
Really great entry, good work !
Such a good game! Especially the visual part, so stunning. I'm really stunned for ~2 seconds.
Nicely done! Puzzle games are one of my fav genre of all times!
God job on finishing your game! It's a challenge of its own.
Just wow! Love point-and-click controls and the artstyle! Great job!
Absolutley stunning 2d graphics. I love those tiny little creatures
I'm shocked at how well the theme is developed, with excellent visual and musical style
This is absolutely stunning. Graphics are fantastic, the _audio_ is just perfect, and the gameplay is just right for a jam game. It got quite frantic... The only issue is that I couldn't see my own time when I got to the leaderboard.
The sounds, music, visuals, and animations were all just incredible! I just found things a little confusing at the start, and in my opinion, I think you should lower the shakes's power because they kept startling me when they occured.
Loved this! I'm a sucker for this kind of game, and it absolutely delivered. Great idea, fantastic visuals & polish, very immersive from the first minute—and gameplay just frantic enough to keep me engaged all the way. <3
The most polished game I've seen so far!
Marvelous work, well done!
Nice and clean description language ;-) I love the graphics, i love the sounds. Maybe gameplay is not of my preference, but it's just pleasant to watch how game runs, with such visual, audio and animations.
This is my favorite entries so far, I love evrything about it, the idea is simple but really well executed congrats to the team!
cool and simple idea. Very cute sounds
Just WOW! For the 3 days such a good graphic and sound design! I didn't undestand what to do at first, but then it visually it became clear. My respects, you have a wonderful game
https://youtu.be/GF7l_Xez9tM
incredible work!! Everything is so polished and cohesive. The art and sound design is really inspiring. I wasn't very good at the actual game loop but I appreciated the creativity! I would love to explore this world using this style of point & click gameplay to be more of a slow-paced thinky puzzle, or lemmings kind of game rather than fast reaction times and high score though
Gorgeous art and animation! Very, very well polished and impressive :) GJ!
Really interesting games with polished art! I am inspried in some way
Great atmosphere and very cool animations! My dogs weren't too happy with barking sounds ahahah It gets - I feel - quite hard if you mess up once. Is the timer to finish a task different if you failed once?
Great gameloop, well done!!!
@laywelin sorry for your dogs! No, it does not affect the timer
I love the idea of tiny little guys running around manipulating stuff inside someone's head. Great name for the game by the way. Excellent graphics, sound, and presentation.
Woah, this game is insanely cool! The cryptic instructions take a while to pick up but once you do, the game starts to become easier and easier to understand. It was such a fun journey to go on :)
The art stands out to me, it's incredible! It took me a while to even realise I was inside someone's head because of how long I spent focusing on other small details of the level. The UI too is crazy, I've never seen anything like it. I love how you've created a world, and a diagetic interface to fit inside of it and immerse the player in the game. So creative!
The audio is also really cool, really fits the vibe of the game, I love it!
Well done with this game, I'd happily pay good money for something like this.
i ADORE the visual style of this game, everything about it is so funny and whimsical and I love the idea of these people trying to control a person throughout their day! It was a fun and simple little game to play through and I had a great time!
I do think the timer seemed a bit odd, like it would just sit on empty for a while before docking points from me, I only actually managed to get it to fail me once by lounging around and doing nothing hahaha
But all in all you did an amazing job with this game!
A very interesting idea, addictive gameplay, this game is really fun to play. But it takes time to figure out its gameplay, and I wouldn't make the hints blink, because they're small and hard to see. This is only a personal problem, perhaps it is convenient for others. It is unclear when the time of the level ends. The graphics are very cute, I want to see more of your projects! Good luck!
Finally. A game in my native language. It was a very polished and fun! I actually found it a bit challenging as it went on (partially maybe because I played with my laptops mouse). Sorry for all the traffic accidents I caused failing to drive every time
@naphe-candle-mme

So far the best I've seen in terms of design on jam, it was a pleasure to play!
Screen Shot 2024-10-10 at 7.31.10 PM.png Snagged the high score. Took me three tries, which should give an idea how much fun I was having! This is a seriously cool little game, I love the "figure it out yourself" vibe, which was done very well, the audio and visuals are on point, the gameplay seems simple, but definitely has some skill ceiling as you work out what "parts" are needed for various tasks without having to wait for the symbols to show up. My only complaint is that the symbols blinking on the "task board" can make it hard to spot which one you still need in the heat of the moment.
@multiphonix wow! Glad you found winning strategies :)
Agree with blinking, I noticed it was a bit too quick in last hours, but it kinda got pushed away by "more important" tasks %)
Absolutely stunning art and presentation. Love the little noises and I can't believe you made a whole ass alphabet for this!
This definitely has the best graphics I've seen so far in this jam and probably in most if not all jams I've took part in. I'd be stunned if I found it in a fully released game, in a jam even more. The audio design is also top notch, great presentation overall. The idea of creating a dedicated alphabet is just brilliant. The only thing I could think of is that I'd like to see this as the core mechanic of a game with more context. For example this is the "brain" of a "person" that does things through these tiny creatures, with an actual person in its environment that shows what you're doing and where you have to react to the environment. I'm thinking about a sort of combination of Manual Samuel and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
@sbeif thanks! Actually in early concept of the game it had to be a giant robot walking around the city like in Team Tank (multiplied by Spaceteam and Lovers) but we dropped that idea early on as it would be a feature creep :)
This is (and there is no other option) the best game ever of this jam. Only regarding to the itch io page i was already convinced your game's gonna be a masterpiece... and it is, purely and simply. I love the idea we are in the head of a robot, the mechanics work so well, our eyes are searching for the right form to quickly deploy our little guys there and be on time ! Difficulty is perfecty balanced. I had to restart the game because i didn't get what i had to do the first time but it was clear the second one ! The art style is just insane, i love the heart sticker on the robot before the game start and all this tiny details you put this and there wich bring so much to the final result.
Amazing game loop that could definitely be taken in so many directions if you were to expand on it. As is, though, I really wanted more from the gameplay besides picture matching. I'm a huge fan of language games & conlang stuff, but I didn't feel like the game gave me any way to interact with the symbols or decipher their meaning. Even as a reaction-based matching game, the lack of new mechanics meant the only motivation to keep playing was to perfect my speed for a better high score (and once I got the top score, there wasn't much to do beyond that).
That is not, of course, to say this is a bad game; I loved the whole atmosphere you've got going on, from graphics to cute sfx and a great soundtrack. I think it's only because you've set up such an interesting premise that I was mildly disappointed to realize there wasn't more content to explore.
@ember44 hey! Thanks for feedback. Yeah, not the best gameplay we made for sure :D
But actually, if you look into message under HELLO HUMANS on itch.io you can go into deciphering it ;) Some people already did it, so it's definitely possible. And we have some hidden controls and easter eggs but please don't tell anyone! (though, do not expect much, it's all very simple. In the end, it's a game made win 3 days, not much things to invest time into)
So, please, write back something if you found my hint useful!
Gorgeus game! This reminds me old neverhood and new chuchel Animations and sound are beautiful. Well done, man
This game definitely gives off Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime vibes! The letter design is super cool, I kept getting distracted by it as I was so curious about what my little guys were up to. It would be awesome if I could learn some letters as I play, so I could piece together more of the story.
Very immersive world design, it's impressive to fit a whole alphabet design into the time as well, and I wish I'd had an option to tap and reveal letters to understand the story better.
Very creative and fun moving the guys around. Gameplay loop has room to expand, so I'd really like to see where this takes off! The art was so so on point :)
@broheartttv you actually can. Some people did :)
See my comment above yours :)
@yogurtthehorse I read the itch comments out of fascination and was even more impressed. I meant in-game for those without sufficient brain wrinkles to understand. ;_;
Saw one of your posts at the end of the jam and finally took the time to test your game. I was expecting a game about deciphering an alphabet and was surprised to find something else entirely. But then read the comments and discovered I can actually crack the alphabet
Gameplay wise it was fun but got quite repetitive after a while. Also, I would have liked to see my score at the end of the game.
Regardless, even though I felt I had seen all the game had to offer, I felt pressed on to continue till the end. I think the visuals and the music/design you have here are the main reason why. They are AMAZING ! From the UI to the animations of the little guys, from the subtle sound effects, to the enthralling music, everything feels so ... special ! I would defenitely love to see more of this universe.
This really is great work, congrats !
@kerdelos hey! Thanks! Nice expectations roller coaster you had there :D
Yeah, gameplay could be more interesting and we already have some ideas for possible post-jam version. And yeah, we invested our efforts into something else and we even see people like gameplay and find it interesting enough. So may be a preference? (I myself also find it not so cool, although it's a bi-i-it deeper than you think from the first glance)
And sorry not to show you your score. I simply forgot to implement it :(
If you have submitted it, you can find it here: https://lb.yogurtthehor.se/api/v1/scores/55
Thanks for feedback!
That was pretty cool. There is some issue with Chrome on Windows where when I switch back and forth from fullscreen the game disappears but when it worked it was great.
@josep-valls thanks! May be you had to click on it so it could gain focus back and continue playing?
For me it's the best game of this jam. 5 out of 5 in all categories. I am in love with your pixel art (and am pixel artist myself so I'm hard to please). And game mechanics are tricky yet not entirely difficult. And the game has this feeling of its own world, that you wish to explore more and more, which is very rare in game jams. And of course the language! I was so adored by your "Read on-screen instructions and follow them closely!" and not being able to read them. And then I decrypted the language, which add more layers to your concept. I take my hat off to you! Amazing!
Incredible, really nice.
This was so much fun, I loved the mystery of having to figure out what to do/the language in addition to the gameplay. The art is fantastic and the music was entertaining (especially at the end). Great job everyone!
Nice game,very interesting plot!!!!Nice job!!!!
Wow, the setting is very interesting, the atmosphere you built really piques my curiosity. I expected it to be harder to understand, but the game mechanics were quite straightforward.
Very fun to play! I loved the graphics and music. Despite the game's title, I didn't notice we were inside a head until I was halfway through the game. I guess the tiny creatures in my head were working on something else.
I tried to be as fast as possible, but I couldn't get the top record. At least I showed up in the leaderboard!
img2.png
This game is awesome!! The visuals are outstanding, the audio is excellent, and the fake language adds so much atmosphere to this game. It's simple to understand what to do, and fun to execute. Honestly I can't think of too much wrong with this game, and I'm beyond impressed at how quickly this was thrown together! Excellent work!
What a thoroughly cool entry. Visuals were super cute (and monolithically alien at the same time), audio was a major plus all round, and the alien language presentation was a really cool way to go about things. Really original, and also very slick - I didn't encounter any bugs (other than my lil wormies) during my playtime. Pathfinding etc was all great.
Special note on the music - I really love not just the sounds you've come up with, which were wonderfully mechanical and alien, while still so groovy, but also the way it was implemented. Holding off having the first track drop until the first mini-puzzle was solved was so satisfying. Love the way this was all put together.
Was a big fan of your team's entry last year too! Very cool stuff.
Great art and mucho mood! Love the just every-thing-in-alien-language thing. Gameplay is a bit hectic and unpredictable with the symbols jumping every time - would have been cool if there was an extra pattern to keep track of so you can learn it.
Nonetheless, really great entry~
@joror actually if you learn images you would get exactly what you want :)
hey, I played a while ago and didn't comment anything. The visuals hooked me immediatelly and I loved how the game explains how to play without any understandable words. What I've enjoyed the most is understanding what the game wanted from me and being able to deliver it. I didn't enjoy that much the difficulty towards the end because it wasn't as much about learning as it was about being fast though, but it's a very nice entry, thank you!
I really enjoyed this one! It was pretty hard (I lack any reflexes) but I managed to barely beat it on the third run. Thanks for this entry!
@acdia thanks! You got 65th place out of around 300 which is pretty nice considering it was hard! Congrats
Beautiful and cute game. Adding your own language and different characters is a great idea. I love the simple controls of your game and the idea of finding the right icon.
OMG this is so clever and SO RIDICULOUSLY STRESSFUL omg the amount of time you get for each puzzle after like 8-10 rounds is soooooooooo short lol. I still got a lot more than expected and I had a lot of fun with it, though! And I suppose this does a fantastic job of capturing how frantic, hectic, and overwhelming life can be... So definitely kudos on that!
Plus, the concept of this and the execution are just soooooooooooooo clever and solid!
Wow the pixelart in this game is absolutely fantastic, there's so much detail and care put into the the presentation of the game, ridiculously impressive for just 3 days!! the idea is also very creative, using the tiny guys to control the body of a robot/alien? not entirely sure, but either way very inspired. I also love the alien language it's such a cool touch, music and sound design are also fantastic
the gameplay loop is fun, the difficulty increase is fair and well balanced. I played it multiple times to see if I could finish it in a shorter time, it got a little stressful to manage things as it went on but it was still very fun. it's a simple but effective
this is one of my favorite entries as far as graphics, I hope it ranks very high cuz it deserves to!
A very cool and atmospheric game. I liked how you didn’t take on too much, and what you did do was done very well. I really liked it.
The glyph language is so curious~!
Wow, even with 3 people, how on earth did you do this in 3 days? Incredible work. I love the graphics and sound design so much, it's hard to even express it. The little 'meeping' creature sounds in the soundtrack are so good and the unique sound effects for each situation that pops up are excellent too.
I really like how you were able to communicate the premise of the game without using words. Gameplay reminds me a bit of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. Scope here is pretty perfectly bite-sized to stay interesting without overstaying its welcome and getting boring. Absolutely fantastic work, great job.
i finished it with the second try ! very great game, funny , cozy at start and stressfull near the end ^^ lot of charms ! :)
Great concept, good art, 2 major problems 1. the flashing, the symbols flashing on the screen makes them harder to read 2. by the time you can read them and send the guy over the time limit is over.
