LD52 — Harvest

HARVEST 2300 by xk_the_name 2023-01-11T08:26:46Z

Хорошая игра, interesing take on combining vampire survivors/bullet hell with being a slow harvester. I like art aesthetic despite the fact that it's a bit unpolished. And even though there ain't much sound effects, background ambient is very moody and fits so well. It's good to see some worldbuilding! Not an easy game though, I failed twice... It was a bit hard to find resources after I met half the quota or so.

Harveyster by Almax 2023-01-10T16:58:25Z

Wow, that's one the best game I played so far! Very nice graphics and audio! Interesting take on the concept, balancing protecting the crops from crows and from your own attacks. Really good work guys!!!

I Require Human Parts by Flaterectomy 2023-01-12T18:12:29Z

It was a surprise to see text based game :) But a welcoming one. UI is very slick and responsive, and music was atmospheric, but some sound effects would be nice to have too! Overall it's an enjoyable game with a good sense of humor, and play(read?)through length is good too.

Space Harvest by Sergey Myachin 2023-01-10T17:11:07Z

It was very hard to control ship I couldn't reach the fruits BUT interesting choice for movement inside the ship! Ain't something you see every day

Harvest Moon by bigbadollie 2023-01-12T18:15:54Z

Pretty good game! Controls are nice and mechanics are intuitively understandable. Probably fun to play in coop but I played alone which was a bit of fun too! :)

Harvest Reaper by Oliver 2023-01-10T16:48:41Z

Simple but charming graphics! It feels a bit clunky to play, but not that bad. Sounds are nice too.

Drillydown by Peter Jonsson 2023-01-12T18:30:53Z

Great game, feels very polished! Art and sound make cool aesthetic, but fail sound was very brutal for my ears, an d I failed a lot cause of snails :) But puzzles were good.

Mimi's Challenge by epb9000 2023-01-12T18:22:01Z

Very cute game, making you utilize some precognition :) I wish there'd be some smooth camera animations though, I got a bit dizzy at some point. But I see that there's work put into the game, which is good.

Kyōkoku ni mayoi, tensei shitara mamono kara mahō o mitsuketa by nelow 2023-01-10T16:19:32Z

Very beautiful game! Are those minecraft health icons? :D Gameplay feels a bit unpolished, but overall I like colors and aesthetics!

Harvest Space by GreatVV 2023-01-10T17:05:57Z

Multiplayer game on a jam is always a cool thing, congrats!

Flush U by dry-squid 2023-01-10T15:45:50Z

I usually don't like this type of humor, but it was for some reason funny and feels like some sort of meta commentary on the nature of game jams.

It's cool that you added both AI and local multiplayer.

Reap 'n' Roll by Aurailus 2023-01-11T07:31:51Z

I like the aesthetic! but cards were a bit hard to use/choose in the heat of the combat.

Hector the Apothecary by Daxic 2023-01-11T07:40:51Z

Very good game! It feels really polished, and art style is so nice and moody. My only neat pick is that leveling up UI is a bit unreadable, at first I thought the game bugged and had to restart... And it took me a while to see the '+' buttons near the stats. I was surprised how short it was, but for a jam it's better short than stretched! I could really see it being developed into something more, with resource management and more mechanics... Great job!

Hector the Apothecary by Daxic 2023-01-11T07:44:48Z

Also big respects for audio level sliders in the menu, so many jam games suffer from being too loud/quiet!

Bone Whale by Danial Jumagaliyev 2023-01-10T16:08:23Z

I played this game in coop and I think it look nice! Good artwork. Sad there's no sounds for hitting enemies and stuff. I like the mood.

Victor Voidbringer by pedsm 2023-01-10T16:53:57Z

Nice game!

F L E S H R E A P E R by Creator-Lynx 2023-01-11T08:59:05Z

Aiming doesn't seem to work? I move my mouse and nothing happens.

Comet Cowboy by Jonathan Alderson 2023-01-12T18:02:04Z

So nice to see someone also made a game about grappling hooks in space :) Very nice aesthetic, and I also impressed that you made planetary gravitation, it seems to work rather smooth! Although I didn't really get the goals that game wanted me to achieve, flying around comets was nice.

The Harvester by flanne 2023-01-11T08:47:27Z

I like this game a lot! Very moody audio and art. UI/UX is a bit clunky at times, but for a jam entry it's alright. It's cool that enemies can hit each other, gives you a room for tactical combat. It really feels like an potentially good mobile game, good concept and execution.

RunCubungus 2: The Harvesting by williewlchew 2023-01-10T15:59:17Z

I played a game, and it was nice! Although items on the floor are a bit hard to distinguish! Interesting aesthetic choice, combining gloomy dungeon and farming.

The Dust Harvest by Nodra 2023-01-11T08:12:20Z

Nice game, I enjoyed the minimalistic art style and gameplay feel good. But it was hard to understand at first even though I read the instructions :( Maybe little tutorial would help. Music and sounds are simple but good. I would advice you to give a bit more thought to UI/UX though. For example, put text saying attack/speed boost because I frogot that they are even a thing at first. And it's a bit confusing since your press 1 to speed boost which is to the left from 2 to attack, but in UI speed boost counter is to the right from attack boost.

But I'm neat picking! Game is good, once you understand how it works.

CRAWLER CRAWL by Sean Carrick 2023-01-11T09:06:56Z

Nice game. I like 3d aesthetic a lot. Sad there's no audio, it could be very moody! Movement feels great.

Orbital Oranges by MisterIXI 2023-01-10T16:13:59Z

It's so cool to see a 3d game in a jam! And also a space game.

light.on() by mayst 2023-01-10T16:29:25Z

Very good game! I really like the idea of tetris/domino/road bulding combination, feels fresh and innovative! With a little bit of polish it can be a good mobile game which I would play and I don't even like playing mobile :)

Musical Mining : The Harmony of Greed by Andy-Link 2023-01-10T15:32:29Z

Game looks nice, I like the art, but it is very hard and the fact that my keyboard keys are in a horizontal row while in-game buttons are in vertical row makes it very confusing! I can't do it after 1st level :( Horizontal in-game buttons would help, I think...

Also rhythm of button presses seems to have nothing in common with a music playing but maybe it is only in the beginning, but I can't progress.

Iris's Scrappy Rumble by ScolonDev 2023-01-10T16:41:28Z

Very nice game, feels quite polished for a game jam! I have little neat picks about font and UI, but it's all minor things. Gameplay is fun and chaotic in a good way!

Human Harvest by Gregormack 2023-01-10T15:53:50Z

Very nicely made game, good job! It looks good and and polished and is fun to play. It is easier to list negative things: it gets repetitive very fast (I wish there'd be more than one level), music also gets a bit annoying on multiple restarts (but song itself is good).

I could really see it as a finished mobile game!

Vermin Attack by stevepixelface 2023-01-10T16:45:01Z

Nice game, it is small but polished! I think it'd be more fun if attacking wasn't automatic? But why not!

Penguin Kinetic Deliveries by Nomaki 2023-05-02T17:36:34Z

Nice, I good Outer Wilds flashbacks. I really dig the art and music, but I'd wish you added some juice, like particles and screenshake :) There's a short talk on yourube called "Juice it or loose it", some small things can go a long way.

But great job, again cool art (good colors!) and music is very fitting.

Holiday Halfpipe by Marcus Otterstrom 2023-05-02T17:15:19Z

Neat little game :) I like it a lot, kinda addictive! I got to 6550 score. Really like that you added gift jump, and wheelies make it gambly in a good way!

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-02T10:23:18Z

@moonblast to be fair, it is a pretty standard way of controlling your character, called "tank controls" with long history and a lot of games use it. But I understand that it can be a bit challenging to master if you happened to not play a lot of games with such controls :)

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-02T17:59:37Z

@waptaincaffles thanks for the feedback! The idea was to drop your trailer while in combat and pick it up later, but we should've hinted somehow...

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-02T18:23:35Z

@forager thank you :) Yeah some assets and locations were rushed, we could've messed up a bit. Overscope is a hell of a drug

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-03T12:32:25Z

@ruruie thank you for playing! I assume you tried web version? We still sort of trying to tame that beast :)

WASTELAND Express by YogurtTheHorse 2023-05-20T17:31:47Z

@poshdan thanks for the feedback, your points are very valid!

Deep Sands Delivery by Rjdrag 2023-05-02T17:51:35Z

I like the vibe of it a lot! Can you share link to these assets? Also love the music, but SFXs are not impactful. Also player character feels a bit clunky, I wish it would rotate in mouse direction and shoot while running.

But as a proof of concept I think it works great, I'd love to play a game where you roam around the desert on a platform and shoot bugs, I think there's some good gameplay loop and mood in here!

Delivery G.U.I. by JpBaraky 2023-05-02T17:57:11Z

I like the art! Feels a bit unpolished though! We had a similiar idea at a brainshtorming phase, glad someone made it :) You should check out "art of screenshake" on youtube from a nuclear throne guy, I think you can apply a lot of little things from there to this game and it would be pretty juicy! (if you want to do post jam update)

LD54 — Limited Space

Cosmic Chaos by Jiri_One 2023-10-03T16:00:15Z

What I liked: - Visual Style - Upgrades - Simple to understand gameplay - Music

What I didn't like: - Hard tank controls, especially that you can't rotate when stationary :( - Loud sounds and no ability to turn them down :(

What I'd suggest:

- I think if ship would follow a mouse cursor to rotate it would be much easier to play! Binary left/right controls make aiming very hard :(

Boxed Boxes by jebouin 2023-10-03T16:48:34Z

What I liked:

- Fresh and unusual core mechanic which - Clever level design - Nice visuals and polish for a compo :)

What I didn’t like:

- Wall jumping wasn't taught before being a requirement for a pretty complex level. - There are some bugs, level 12 has long block disappearing if it fall on you, also level where you are "in the tank" is very buggy, I always stuck when landing on any corner... Had to restart like 10-15 time because of that.

Reaaly nice take with a unusual and cool take on the theme! Btw I get through all levels eventually, even though I think I cheesed a couple of them ;)

Elastro by Kerdelos 2023-10-03T18:15:55Z

What I liked: - Unique mechanic that feels quite polished! - Cool artstyle - Nice music

What I didn't like: - It's not exactly clear how I should play the game, took me while to explore all the controls, don't understand why I should bounce when I can use my attack, it feels more reliable? Monsters seems to go from all directions rather randomly, that makes it even harder to aim via stretching the area :(

What I'd suggest: - Maybe it would be more clear if monster would come in waves from each direction, also maybe if canisters also could explode, that way you could place them in a way of a horde and launch your self into it to explode? - Also maybe player character should have HP and the game should be all about bouncing yourself into the enemies, quickly moving with dash, no attack button.

Ship in a Bubble by Moebius 2023-10-04T18:07:29Z

What I liked: - I can attach gun to shoot myself - Interesting mechanic - Clear goals and controls

What I didn't like - Shooting sound hurts my head - Very high difficulty, it is almost impossible not to shoot myself after lvl 2 - Game feels a bit too random because it is hard to dodge your own bullets and hard not to miss when yuo have a bunch of guns attached.

Suggestions: - Maybe if background would be close to camera, more like a floor (asteroid field), it would be easier to orient yourself and maneuver.

Super Pinup Smasher 2000 by fullmontis 2023-10-04T21:43:42Z

1. why pit of shame 2. wait. 3. oh

Packing and Unpacking by nusan 2023-10-04T21:56:45Z

What I like: - Mood - Very nice visuals - Story providing context to the levels

What I didn't like: - No audio :( - Game started to lag at last level (web)

Nice game :)

hypno-room by verysoftwares 2023-10-03T16:20:51Z

What I liked:

- Nice and readable sprites - Interesting mechanic

What I didn’t like:

- Loud and disturbing music that can't be turned down, I had to disable sound in tab altogether - A bit hard to understand how exactly it is determined when block can be moved, I guess when the guy is close enough? I had some strange cases but maybe it's just me. - It was a bit too hard after level 4, and level 5 left me frustrated because I didn't even knew where to go.

What I’d suggest:

- Instead of music that kills your soul make sound effects that play when dude moves or when you move blocks :) - Make the whole level visible, since it's a puzzle game and I want to plan ahead :(

Just Another Sokoban by Harksa 2023-10-04T21:18:10Z

but seriously, good game, at first i thought it was low effort entry, but the following levels are very nice! why is the last level so strange?

also it's sad that there were no undo button

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-03T20:23:48Z

@ace17 it can, but you probably need to pull with multiple segments at once. The head is indeed the strongest and the tail is the weakest.

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-03T23:10:01Z

@quasilyte thanks for the feedback! We probably could've done better job by indicating that segment is about to get tired, I see why you find it vague.

Initially I planned to put some collectables into all the dead-ends, but time kinda got out of hand, so they feel like empty dead ends :(

The worm is eaten and the cycle of life continues...

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-04T18:42:31Z

@roboimuri what do you mean? D: There's music in the game!

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-07T18:29:53Z

@yngvarr thanks a lot for the let's play :) It's always cool to see the actual playthrough.

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-08T13:55:46Z

But it seems like while still doable it now requires some skill!

@ditam (*writes down nervously*) yeah, just as intended, yeah, th-thanks for participation...

Squeeze & Wiggle by YogurtTheHorse 2023-10-12T21:00:17Z

@erlioniel what do you mean?

Last God's Bidding by Daxic 2023-10-03T18:40:51Z

What I liked: - Good take on the theme - Polish - Graphics - Music

What I didn't like - Sometimes it feels a bit random and unfair, for example I had quite low population and then for 10 tiles i didn't get anything that would increase it, and usually everything would decrease it a bit. Maybe it would be nice to have some reshuffles. - Natural disasters can't be removed, basically every planet is doomed for failure. While it's not a problem in itself, combining with little size of a planet and high randomness and creates rather unfair runs sometimes.

Suggestions: - Add limited "reshuffles" for the tiles you are about to place or ability to discard the tile. - Make natural disasters disappear over time or have some special tile that could erase them.

Also, there's a bug, when connecting gamepad, music slider goes to the bottom and can't be brought back. Basically meaning there's no music for gamepad gamers. I have brand new DualSense, so it shouldn't have any significant issues with drift and work fine in any other game...

ps: ok I see screenshot that tell me that it is possible to win the game, I actually was very close :)

Riven by JunaGames 2023-10-04T18:46:45Z

What I liked: - Overall style - Solid take on the jam theme

What I didn't like: - Game is a bit too hard, it would be nice if it was easier in the beginning. - When you are about to get eaten circle grows out and you don't understand when you will be eaten. It would be much more clearer if circle would shrink on you... - Canon balls a hard to dodge...

Suggestions: - It would be nice if you have shown controls in the game and also show some text explaining what pick ups do. I found out I could fire only after a while :)

Rusty Barrel by KenForest 2023-10-03T17:58:18Z

What I liked: - Improved controls over iron lung :) - Mood - Very nice fish and jellyfish and whales, are those video files? Look very cool and unusual, how did you achieve that? - The Goose.

There is limited space both inside the submarine and outside because of narrow caverns, so you covered the theme twice :)

To Hell With You! by Sean Esopenko 2023-10-04T18:17:23Z

What I liked: - Art and amount of it, very nicely drawn level

What I didn't like: - Unskippable cutscene in the beginning, very annoying

Overall I didn't really understand wether I lost or not. I got "Heaven is Full" message in the end... Did I do something wrong? Or is it a win? With the amount of zombies rushing you it is very unclear what I should do and explaining rules before player even knows what kind of game it is is not a very good approach imo.

High Caffeine Black Tea by SLEEPYMENACE 2023-10-04T20:24:28Z

What I liked: - Cute art

What I didn't like: - Game is very difficult it seems to work incorrectly on my pc or in web version. There are no sounds and I can't attack most of the time for some reason. Also there are no sounds :(

Out of Space by aznoqmous 2023-10-04T20:54:06Z

What I liked: - Basically everything :) Very cool game, feels addictive and mobile-ready!

What I didn't like: - No volume slider and music is rather loud...

Are levels procedural? I think I played like 5 or 6 of them and them just suicide the whole population (bad idea).

Feng Shui Struggles by Nozomu57 2023-10-03T17:09:50Z

What I liked:

- Take on the theme and overall idea - Good difficulty, but no too frustrating - How you can move the piano through the window ;) - Music, reminds me of some of Night in the Woods OST :) - Intuitive controls

What I didn’t like:

- Your taste in furniture arrangement - Sometimes it feels like furniture gets stuck a bit even in empty space

What I’d suggest:

- More sound, special for each furniture :)

KeyBound by AgrMayank 2023-10-04T19:09:47Z

What I liked: - Artstyle is cute, but maybe too much post-fx :) - Pun about space - Music is cool

What I didn't like: - Music was to loud and I couldn't turn it down inside the game :( - Platforming in the right part of the screen is very frustrating, when there's a ladder of sort

nice work

Modular by Igor Fam 2023-10-03T18:48:53Z

Interesting mechanic, I kind wished there'd be more levels :) My only major issue is that it is a bit fiddly to put upgrades in the inventory, if you drop them not exactly in the correct cells, they stay in the world and not snap to the inventory grid.

Nice take overall

LD55 — Summoning

Glyph Tower by YogurtTheHorse 2024-04-17T01:56:14Z

@ismael-rodriguez that's actually great idea, maybe we'll do it like this in post-jam update.

Glyph Tower by YogurtTheHorse 2024-04-17T19:08:33Z

@yuu what a madman. Did you have any fps left at your time?

Glyph Tower by YogurtTheHorse 2024-04-19T11:59:13Z

@andriybyelikov thanks for the feedback. We had a lot to do so music was basically left as a draft so I could make sounds and help with other things.

I stopped thinking about music piece being in certain mode years ago and usually combine them without thinking about it and trusting my ears. The bass riff is actually in phrygian scale though :)

Glyph Tower by YogurtTheHorse 2024-05-03T22:40:46Z

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Beetle Era by icxon 2024-10-08T08:33:05Z

Love the idea, very cool mechanic with pheromones, everything works great and feels polished. I'm worried that some people might not notice manual level change, but it doesn't bother me at all :)

Autumn Picnic by Gao Ming 2024-10-08T12:30:02Z

Like this a lot, very tasteful visuals, straight to the point idea. Eating sound is nice, but as a sound designer myself I would suggest to add more variation to sounds (playing random samples, varying pitch, etc), movement sound get very repetitive almost immediately, and maybe i could be more squishy...

I wouldn't mind playing more if game was longer :)

The Pasture by Fis 2024-10-08T08:56:29Z

Nice game, despite being simple it's quite engaging. Matching lines is satisfying. For some reason highscore is grayed out in the menu for me though, I player the first level for 1000 points and last level for several hundreds, as far as I understand they are endless, or maybe I didn't finish them and that's why I didn't unlock highscore..

Head'quarters by YogurtTheHorse 2024-10-08T13:24:46Z

@quasilyte thanks for the review. There are arounf 17 events total to complete the day. If you lose 6 times it's game over! If you complete all events (and lose less then 6) you win!

This is great, I love all the poses that gnomes would take to infiltrate your studio (in case they would have existed). Gnomes would be hilarious if they would exist. But even though gnomes do not exist, visuals are great.

Did you really record that music just for the jamp with live woodwinds? :0 (also some sfx for punches and gnomes (if they existed) would make audio just perfect...)

Silky Slinger by Shlolo 2024-10-08T18:03:56Z

Good entry, I like the string physics, feels quite responsive. On ground control is not very responsive though, but maybe it's the intention and it's not much of a problem.

I can see that you care about visuals, looks very consistent :)

Home Deep Home by YogurtTheHorse 2025-04-09T21:22:09Z

@mikemikemakes, @aurel300 thanks for the detailed feedback! We realised how much we overscoped in the last 8 hours and had to dramatically cut features and didn't even had to time to playtest properly and polish gameplay.

Hopefully will make post jam update...

Home Deep Home by YogurtTheHorse 2025-04-09T21:26:56Z

@kurakurture, thanks you for playing so much - there're a lot of bugs and we just ran into a terrible feature-creep leaving game without tutorial and a lot of other things. Dudes not spawning is a bug, although I hoped I fixed it (it should happen automatically when you have a bunch of food and houses).

We actually had monsters drawn and animated but didn't manage to add it to the game :(

Home Deep Home by YogurtTheHorse 2025-04-11T11:17:06Z

@uniowl thanks for playing! Obelisks have lore if you click on them. Expensive thingy should have protected colony form monsters but we didn't have time to add monsters. Dancing is their lifegoal, they would rather do that then anything else. There were a lot of thing planned and a lot of things cut... (like tiles synergies).

Deep Blast by Senso 2025-04-24T20:11:22Z

nice and juicy game my only issues are that it's a bit hard to strategically select upgrades and audio is too loud when a lot of blocks are destroyed at the same frame.

Cool vibes, UX with management pots could be better, like showing if they are lit in real time and dedicated button for moving them. Visuals are great.

Game is great, but I don't think Ministry will approve it...

Great game! Took me a while to notice upgrades screen though...... After that it went great. Pet the goose. Finished in 20 minutes. Wanted to record but obs didn't get the video....

Looks great, sounds great (although I think ambient could benefit from being directional).

Space Cleaners! by IRoRoI 2025-10-07T20:00:40Z

Visuals are good, gameplay is ok (I really like the whole concept but I think it could be a bit more thoughtful, like maybe extracting some components from dead space ships or searching for specific loot instead of just mindlessly grappling everything in reach), but audio is rather weak, not only it's lacking (not enough sounds), but sounds that are there are quite painful to listen to... Ships controls are also not intuitive at all.

I recorded gameplay but due to bad obs settings it's not the whole screen, sorry... https://youtu.be/2KfpPL-576g

SAVE MY KNEES! by Keys Presser 2025-10-07T15:18:35Z

Nice, has vibes from old quest games somehow, love animations. Progress is a bit tedious though, feels like first quests should be much simpler...
