nice music choice!!
Gorgeous game with consistently cool style. I got curious for more!
Really cool vibe, like a blast from the past.
Nice music, fun to see how battle goes, but found no way to understand what each unit does, so it is hard to build a team :(
Йо, чуваки, игра получилась творческая, но к описанию фишек есть пара вопросиков, может быть стоит важную информацию написать вверху сводки или же выделить ее другим цветом, а так респект, удачи мои хорошие
Really love the urban style and music! Threw me back to playing Tin Pin Slammers in TWEWY, except this one is an auto battler. I had a lot of fun collecting tokens and watching their abilities on the field.
Fire soundtrack!!
Hello fellas! The street style and trash-aesthetic are really eye-catching — it totally brings back that Flash-era vibe.
Highlights: Unique art direction and a strong sense of nostalgia. All the visual and stylistic elements feel very cohesive. The battle gameplay is both refreshing and full of that vibin’ energy. Overall, it’s just seriously vibin’!
Points of confusion: The individual character traits and team composition are a bit confusing, and the gameplay feels slightly off-theme at times.
Oh, looks cool! And we also made a game about chips!
Incredible style and art! Sometimes the flavour text can be a bit too long, and the talking sound can get anoying. But overall its amazing
Wow! That was unexpectedly cool and fun! A really pleasant surprise! Cool art and awesome sound! And the Fishka were just like they were in childhood)))
Good job! Thanks for the gaming experience!
Just great!
Chaotic but super fun! It was nice to experiment with different combinations of tokens.
This game has so much character to it. Everyone go try out Taos K.O.!!!
So punky, so fun! It made my night :)
I really loved the pog style and general aesthetic! It was a great use of the theme, and pogs being used in an autobattler makes a lot of sense! That said, I had a very hard time figuring out how to construct a useful team - Some of the character descriptions were very funny (I loved End Is Near cat), but not particularly helpful in building a cohesive team
It also would have been nice to have a fast forward function for the fights - I had a few fights that really dragged on because my team was full of the bubblegum lady, who definitely could not take out a team on her own, but prevented the enemy team from doing much at all for quite some time
I also was *really* hoping that there would be a section before the battle began where you got to flick your Taos around (maybe you could launch them into the arena, rather than have them spawn in at your zone?), because of my inner 90s kid.
Overall though, very well done! :)
Decent concept for an auto-battler. The flavor text was entertaining. It's Marc.
incredible. I wish the combat was clearer so it was easier to strategize around, because how a team will work together is a bit ambiguous. Otherwise, everything about this game is phenomenal especially for a game jam. great work !!
Excellent styling and soundtrack! Thank you for your work!
Ok wow, this is super engaging, This is probably the game I felt most immersed in by far. AND GOSH THIS BRINGS BACK MEMORIES.
I really enjoy the bullets flying when they fight quickly.
Awesome game. The gameplay, the pacing, the music—everything is great. One of the best games at the jam.
This was so addictive it's crazy, spent like an hour playing it. Finding an overpowered combo is so satisfying
Groovy. But UI/UX could be much better. Most of the time you're just left wondering what your fighters will do, there's no description of the stats and the abilities are described in a pretty convoluted way. But anyway, it's easy to tell that people behind this game put effort into it and had fun making it, and so did i while playing it.
I love the vibes, great art / music! I was often kinda confused as to what exactly the figthers would do, which made it hard to strategize. Also one time the round took a really long time because the enemy just stayed still in a corner, while my guy shot him down 1hp at a time lol. Anyway good stuff!
yeah really love the vibes~ kinda super meat boy era xbox vibes~ the gameplay is pretty neat, it is sometimes frustrating when the tokens doesn't do what you want them to do and acts rly stupid tho :3
Wow, a great case study in how to achieve variety in an efficient way.
I really like your art style!
Very engaging and addictive autobattler with lots of humor and a perfect early-2000s Tazos-era atmosphere. I actually liked the vague descriptions on the tokens, they fit perfectly with the overall feel of the game. And of course, the music kicks ass!
A really cool game! I really like
Haha my favorite game so far!
Matchs really well the theme. I love the mood you've created with so much content in this game! Bonus point for the jungle.
My only wish would be to have a button to speed up or to kick the arena to add more chaos :smiling_imp:
