LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Agent Hooker by Phoenix849 2015-12-15T11:33:00

Smooooth! Captivating and polished game, with very good fluency and 'feel' =) However, not sure if mouse pointing counts against 'two buttons' or not.

Clara Stirzaker and the Crypt of Time by vidarn 2015-12-16T10:57:00

Wow, that's a great game! Addictive and very polished!

One Button Suicide by Bemmu 2015-12-14T11:47:00

Haha, yeah that's interesting!

Frogtale by rzuf 2015-12-17T21:28:00

Great fun!

Cultivate by kmakai 2015-12-14T12:46:00

If you keep reading the stuff, the game is actually captivating and amount of content is amazing for 48-hour game.

Give and Take by Move127 2015-12-15T12:27:00

Very interesting game, actually spent quite some time watching how the land grows, etc. Well done!

Grow a Tree Roguelike by hd_ 2015-12-14T10:01:00

Great idea (i actually want to build large tree here! =) ), but learning/difficulty curve (i.e. energy management) could have been a bit less steep.

Dashing Cubes by BUNN1E5 2015-12-14T12:13:00

For some reason, i can't see any obstacles (it looks like there should be some) in web version (can't check windows) - it's just the cube and empty track

Ep by Blagino 2015-12-14T19:59:00

Very nice game! Great job!

What Shall We Do With All This Spacejunk?! by LostTrainDude 2015-12-17T21:24:00

Cool game and very nice music!

Jumping J.A.C.K. by Donar 2015-12-14T23:00:00

Difficult platform puzzle with neat physics, really fun to play if you don't mind restarting the level several dozen times =)

The Artifact by nunesbarbosa 2015-12-14T11:36:00

Control Mechanics is interesting, and pen and paper platformer is always a funny thing =) Unfortunately, i've spent like 15 minutes figuring out how to get through that dark gray wall blocking the path - with no success.

Fight Back! by ChaosCult 2015-12-17T20:51:00

Great game, superb art and nice humor! Very good job!

Can't Jump by x92rwzb 2015-12-14T12:53:00

Interesting take on 2-button puzzle platformer, i actually had fun, although the game is very short.

Also the game is called 'can't run' - but you can =)

Bouncing Knight by Multiplexor 2015-12-14T10:08:00

I like it! Great approach to 2-button platformer, moves/bounces are predictable so it is easy to control the character.

Go, Go, Radzilla! by Crowno 2015-12-14T15:26:00

Wow! Really nice implementation and polish, and helluva fun to play!

Root-gen by Chewie 2015-12-14T22:55:00

Nice style, actual impression of some strange root/mycelium.

Sometimes growth direction changes by itself right near the obstacle, giving almost no time to react.

Ritual of Flowers by amorphous 2015-12-14T22:48:00

Lovely! Always good to see some new mechanic (at least for me), and theme is also very nice.

PEST by kostak 2015-12-17T21:27:00

Nice idea and very funny!

Attack Of The Radioactive Octopus From A Planet Near Mars by donvermo 2015-12-17T09:46:00

Why can't i rate it for sound? =)

Jail Jammers by Cyranh 2015-12-14T11:54:00

Controls mechanic take some time to get used to, but once you have it the game is pretty funny! I actually think the speed of the game is more of a plus here.

Also, intro is lovely =)

Monster Factory by Corniflex 2015-12-14T23:21:00

Really liked the building part, unfortunately humans are very quickly become overwhelmed with your unending stream of monsters.

The Legend Of The Last Plant by InsertNameHere 2015-12-14T17:02:00

Quick successions of turns are rather difficult to go through

Another Dragon by GeorgeBroussard 2015-12-18T11:00:00

Absolutely great job!

LD35 — Shapeshift

Spinstar by Gamepopper 2016-04-18T20:09:00

Well done, really engaging and relatively hard game. Managing both form and color is tricky sometimes.

Formation! by Saladon 2016-04-18T08:39:00

Web version returns 403 =(

"You don't have permission to access /projects/LD35/web/ on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

William's Dilemma by thunderklaus 2016-04-18T19:43:00

This is really engaging! Great job!

Egg Clegger by pythong 2016-04-18T19:56:00

Very funny (and a bit unbalanced) idler =)

LD58 — Collector

Go Be Collector Somewhere Else by evgenii-petrov 2025-10-06T11:34:28Z

>Чёт я так и не понял как пройти 5й лвл

Coyote time, можно прыгнуть из воздуха, если только что сошел с платформы

Go Be Collector Somewhere Else by evgenii-petrov 2025-10-08T20:25:22Z

@koolruz Thanks a lot for such a detailed feedback/review! There is definitely an issue with level 5 coyote time jump, guess level design should take place earlier than 9pm on Sunday

Paper Fishing by iovorobiev 2025-10-06T22:14:06Z

Good take on the theme, but the real point of this cozy game is the atmosphere, both in graphics and audio.

Tiles Collector by dhim 2025-10-05T23:59:07Z

I liked it, nice puzzle that gives you time to think and correct your moves. Also the idea itself is pretty original, i haven't seen anything close to this.

Shape Collector by rhewid 2025-10-06T09:57:40Z

Nice game once you pass the first round =)

Key Master by ancooper 2025-10-06T10:17:52Z

This game becomes a puzzle game after some rounds, which is cool, you have to plan your order of movements. Love the graphics, very nice for a Compo!

Plant Pack by filgreen3 2025-10-08T22:02:09Z

Great game with a very nice UI considering its complexity. Cool atmosphere and overall feel!

Taos K.O. by YogurtTheHorse 2025-10-08T20:47:29Z

Very engaging and addictive autobattler with lots of humor and a perfect early-2000s Tazos-era atmosphere. I actually liked the vague descriptions on the tokens, they fit perfectly with the overall feel of the game. And of course, the music kicks ass!

One Man's Treasure by Ein 2025-10-08T21:31:32Z

Nice and relaxing game (though I didn’t manage to save my kneecaps 😅) with great art, music, and lots of subtle humor. The cat is absolutely hilarious! 😆

Petals by AppoxGames 2025-10-05T23:39:55Z

Nice and somehow relaxing game, also kudos for Zen Mode, just what is needed after this weekend =)

Ashveil by FunBanan 2025-10-06T19:57:06Z

Nice pass on minesweeper with items! Also ambient sounds add a lot to the atmosphere.

Octrobat by Koolruz 2025-10-08T21:05:10Z

Cool physics-based puzzle with very coherent graphics and audio. Once you get a feel for how the hookshot and inertia work, it becomes a matter of solving the level, which is very satisfying. By the way, this game plays great with a gamepad if you have one!

Biblio-Worm by MadR 2025-10-06T13:48:23Z

Neat and accessible retro-platformer with retro-feeling controller and looks. Lens distortion is a bit too much though =)

Adult Life by kremlebot 2025-10-07T09:34:13Z

Funny clicker. Obviously my hobby in this game is hobby gamedev as it does not make me happier =)

Patch-flip Scout Camp by BeanSecrurityRat 2025-10-06T21:31:47Z

Very interesting approach to arranging hands for both yourself and your opponent

Planet Extraction by Aviv Levy 2025-10-06T23:34:38Z

High-quality cozy incremental game

Brollector by Kitira 2025-10-08T21:48:57Z

Fun bullet-heaven game, mechanics work nice and power progression is very satisfying.

RunicForce by quasilyte 2025-10-07T09:26:28Z

Nice game if you are in the mood to combine and experiment with ingredients. Combat part needs balancing, but this is expected for LD. Games like this require a lot of UI work and this is impressive!

Seven-Day Bargain by Megurt 2025-10-06T20:46:50Z

Neat compact Balatro-inspired game. Looks like it needs some other additional way to multiply the score, apart from coin combinations, but obviously it's had to fit into 48 hours.

Great Tearer by Remote_ms 2025-10-06T22:23:04Z

This is nice from a cozy game perspective, but the game definitely needs a few words explaining what we do and why the towers are there.

The Candelabra by kalasherr 2025-10-06T20:37:21Z

Very satisfying once you find out how do build combos

Monsters in Jars by T4RAN 2025-10-06T21:48:05Z

Cool deckbuilder/autobattler concept, this can be expanded really quickly by just adding creatures with new abilities.

Rogue Scribe by Enryu Mirik 2025-10-06T21:01:19Z

Cool idea and nice approach to handling the ui. Also like for the liminal space!

GunShift by ShadyShade 2025-10-06T20:10:57Z

I liked it, there is some charm in the stylized graphics and ambience, also gameplay is actually fun, you can dodge the bullets and powerups have immediate impact.

The Collected by Tetramollaxx 2025-10-06T20:29:04Z

Nice concept and implementation; also in my opinion this is very good take on the theme.

What would be great to see is more variation in cards right from the start, i.e. on stages 1-3, etc; not just ordinary people, perhaps even in starting deck.

HUNTBORN by lazycoffeepanda 2025-10-06T22:31:56Z

Great amount of content for a compo, especially given all the ui work required.

The A?! game by mr_mesmer 2025-10-06T09:21:50Z

Pure kino! I mean it's very interesting experience and actually fits the theme very well. Wish i'd seen this yesterday, sleep-deprived, right after finishing my own entry.

SAVE MY KNEES! by Keys Presser 2025-10-08T21:10:13Z

Nice game with a nostalgic 90s VGA-style feel. The gameplay loop is easy to grasp and has a cozy vibe; maybe the early quests could move a bit faster to get things rolling.

Claw & Collect by d-demetori 2025-10-06T20:17:25Z

Cozy game with many little details and nice audio.

Astro Gourmet by XGN 2025-10-06T13:35:24Z

A lot of fun when stars grow up a bit and some real chaos begins! Abilities are a bit hard to grasp, as there is no time to look at the descriptions; but it works fine anyway.

GHARK - Soul Collector by yaz_protzz 2025-10-07T10:21:21Z

Great art and atmosphere, amplified a lot by the audio. Gameplay is engaging and complete, especially for an LD game.

Please don't touch my collection by zidan-banan 2025-10-06T22:37:23Z

Really interesting puzzle game with great amount of details and polish and perfect fit for the theme.

LD59 — Signal

Signal Weave by alexhonor 2026-04-22T21:21:33Z

Cozy and relaxing incremental game, it's very soothing to see numbers go up. Also great audio and overall mood. Thanks!

R.P.S.G.F. by mr.kvinter 2026-04-21T11:36:58Z

Stylish creepy game with nice twist added to the RPS rules

Signal Repair Team by filgreen3 2026-04-21T10:25:55Z

Great entry with a perfect concept, style, and glorious '80s corporate vibes.

Taos Research Project by YogurtTheHorse 2026-04-21T09:59:27Z

Very nice and original incremental game. It becomes extremely satisfying once everything spirals out of control with recursion and second-order effects after a bit of playtime.

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-04-21T21:12:27Z

Coolest audio design ever!

Nest, this is Pilgrim by Nozomu57 2026-04-21T09:31:32Z

Very nice entry! Cool atmosphere and a great connection between puzzle gameplay, art, audio, and narrative mood.

Just one little thing stands out...

BitMaker by McRamon 2026-04-23T20:14:00Z

Oh, this one stole a criminal amount of my time. This is an automation game in the spirit of Factorio, not a pure incremental, and it's surprisingly deep and entertaining for a compo entry. What i liked the most is that it does not force you into a single 'correct' way of building things, but instead gives you a playground to experiment. 10/10, easily one of the best compo games in LD59.

Look, I Made A Thing by duckmaniac 2026-04-22T14:44:33Z

Nice and funny incremental game, all elements are there. Chill music and overall vibes.

LD59 SIGNAL STRIKE by GARYglhf 2026-04-23T10:16:50Z

Nice game, very good response and dynamic, and absolutely cool music. Interesting to see what desert strike with more enemies would look like! Only thing is that heli should be easier to see.

Observer by zidan-banan 2026-04-21T12:14:10Z

Really nice visuals, especially at the start. The puzzles are great, as always!

Jester’s Vesper by stisdan 2026-04-21T20:52:52Z

Nice and easy-to-grasp compact Balatro-like. I had a great time with it, and the stylish art really ties the whole experience together.

Intercept by paracorn 2026-04-22T13:29:30Z

Nice compact clicker, with clear progression and very satisfying temporary buff thing =)
